Fellow corn lover, welcome to The Maïze Maze! It's pretty self explanatory, it's a maze made completely out of stalks of corn. You could say Mr. Masterson was bored, but really he was just having another kid moment in inspiration of his daughter, Jadyn.

Have fun! Oh, and do try to not get lost.

"Mariel!! Finally! Umm now we just need to get out of here..." Biting her lip, she spun on the spot looking around at all the maize.Please tell me this isn't happening.

Surprisingly enough, the backwards-walking Mariel had not yet run into anyone as she wasn't really looking behind her as she went. She stopped momentarily as she heard Sarah's voice once again. The Ravenclaw girl nodded once to herself in confirmation as she said, "Okay and I'm backing awaaaayyy."

SMACK! The back of Mariel's body suddenly came into contact with a wall of corn - an apparent fork in the so-called road. Well, at least it wasn't a person. At the sound of theat same familiar voice now calling her name, the 15 year old turned her head and grinned in the process. "Well, that's better," she said to Sarah as she ran towards her. Her throat was starting to get sore from the shouting. Looking up at Sarah, Mariel slid down the maize wall until she was sat on the ground with legs crossed. Shrugging, she said, "I suppose... Just let me rest for a minute." All the shouting, searching, and walking had worn her out temporarily.

"You have no idea. I will have to show you pictures at some point." If he could remember to. She would probably have to remind him. He had a photo album somewhere in his dorm and could show her at some point when he wasn't busy.

And he seemed to have hit a sore subject by her reaction. "I'm sorry. That really sucks. Why haven't you seen them?" He couldn't imagine not seeing his parents for a year. He loved them too much.

Peeking his eye open slightly, he opens his eyes all the way, seeing Anya sitting there, looking upward towawrd the sun coming up.

Smiling, he yawns slightly, and cricks his neck. Looking up at the sun himself, he realizes what a romantic thing this was. Even at 11, he realizes how special it is. Pushing the worried thoughts of being lost in the maize away, he reaches for her hand.

"It's pretty isn't it?" he asks softly.

Anya jumped as she heard JD's voice. He reached for her hand, and she took his. This was romantic. Two days and she was already holding his hand, watching the sun rise. Forgetting their current situation, she laid her head on his shoulder and watched the gray sky become blue, slowly.

Gazing at the sky, he wishes there was a way to capture that moment. Seeing the sky brighten more and more, he sighs contently.

Knowing they will need to eat soon, since they had missed dinner the night before. Trying not to worry so much, he stretches his legs out in front of him. They'll be found soon, hopefully now, that it's morning.

...as soon as students decide to come into the maze....hmm will anyone miss them in classes?

Anya groaned internally. She had Kazimeriz for Potions today and she was most likely going to miss. But, hey, she wasn't complaining, who liked him? He was bound to get onto her for missing class though, ugh!

This was totally worth it though. Soon, the sun was up, and Anya was getting worried. She told herself not to worry, but it didn't exactly help right now. Being with JD made things a bit better though.

Anya sighed, keeping her head on his shoulder.

Hey, maybe I won't have to go to evil Kazi's class today...or Borr's. JD thinks to himself. Someo of these teachers, he really had to hand it to, they frightened him more, then well, anything really.

Taking out his wand, he wonders if there's a spell of sorts, that makes a big noise. Not wanting to look stupid in front of Anya, he keeps himself from shaking it and yelling make a noise! Though he's pretty sure, it just might work...

Hmm......what do you get when a fourth year Ravenclaw finishes all of her homework, has no books to read, and is completly bored? You get a explorative girl, that's what you get. So.....what did this young Ravenclaw do? She descided to explore the grounds a bit more today, that's what. And what did she discover? Well that she might go explore the woods, but she first, she was going to explore the GIANT CORN MAZE OF DOOOOOOOM! Can we have dramatic music?

So Jenn skipped into the maze, humming and whistling as she, hopped around the area. Of coarse, it was quite confusing, all the twisting and turning. Hmm....maybe she should turn this way. Okay maybe not. Um....left....no right....or maybe....no.....ACK! She finally sat down, picking at a stray corn leaf.

Classes, elsewhere on the grounds, didn't really matter to her as long as them getting out of the maze didn't mean they went back to not knowing each other. Especially as Vivianne repeated her sentiment about meeting her. "Likewise," she said with a smile, turning her head as they walked to look at the other girl.

The Ravenclaw captain... Willow Kovac. Via doesn't really know her. "I know you can do it... you wouldn't try your luck unless you're good."

She tried to think about what the professor's doing now, probably transfiguring things. She continued to walk until she could now decipher a clearing... "there might have been a prize waiting for those who managed to get themselves out and who won't be spending the night out here," she laughed. She was looking forward to a great meal at the great hall. "i'm actually staving now."

"So it's the end," she said. "Guess we have to say goodbye now." Don't tell me she's emotional again. Nah. "It was like forever. I thought we'd never reach this," she said. They've been inside the maze for hours and they haven't noticed it.

Now if only I could prove that you were right," she said, halfway joking. She thought she was a pretty good Quidditch player, and her mother would be disappointed if she didn't at least try out. But it really was nerve-wracking thinking of going up against all the other candidates, as well as having to show her skills to Willow.

For now, she would have to fill her stomach with some food. I wonder where Daisy is, she said.

"Mom decided she didn't want the burden of all of us kids, so she left two years ago, my dad left a year after that, he was too heartbroken to deal with any of us, especially my sister and I, as we look just like her." Her voice was flat, but moisture was in her eyes. She didn't go into why her mother had left.. But she was angry and sad about it. "My older brother along with our grandparents take care of us now.." She said as she flicked tear filled eyes back to Torin for a second and then down to the ground..the world blurring as water filled her eyes.

She felt Torin's arm on her shoulder and she turned to smile gently at him. "Thanks." She said as she wiped her eyes and looked up for a minute blinking rapidly, trying to keep the tears from falling more. "That is why my sister is at home and I am here." She explained. She couldn't tell him the whole story, about her being a Veela, but at least she could tell him that.

There was also a spell that made a loud noise, but she didn't remember it. Maybe just yelling at the stupid piece of wood would work...

Theo didn't know what to say. Do you say thank you in this sort of situation? But she rested her head on his shoulder. It was a nice feeling. It was lovely to have a friend like Fia. She was nice and snuggly. He rested his head on hers.

Alex tried to smile as Torin spoke, "Oh right, you are new here. It is just outside London a bit. In the country." She said with a slight smile as she tried harder not to cry.

She felt him squeeze her shoulder, and she smiled up at him. "Okay,I will try not to cry. I don't do it often." She said as she wiped at her eyes and relaxed a bit into his embrace. "Yes, we still talk alot.. We owl every day.. I miss her." She said as she sighed a bit. Tears no longer flowing down her face.

Standing up, he points the wand in front of him with a jab. "BANG!" he shouts.

Seeing looking down he sighs, when a sprinkle of water shoots out the end. "Well that didn't work..."

Theo was still beaming. He could hear her voice vibrating through his ear. It was tickly. He liked it. "I am having a great time with you too," he grinned. He had no idea where they were going now. But he was glad he was going there with her. His eyes widened. They were in a relationship??? What sort? He started to panic slightly. But then he realised he didn't care. "I haven't either. But I am glad it is you." He wouldn't have wanted to be in this relationship with anyone else.
