Skye was writing waaay too fast to be able to write neat, and she couldn't really write that neat in the first place either way.
To Skye's relief, Leanne's mood brightened as she asked questions. The awkwardness finally ended. "My day was great," Skye replied, getting back onto her seat. "The stuff we learn is fascinating! And I haven't written yet, but I definitely will soon." Leanne's background was facinating, and a bit similar to Skye's own, she noticed. "My history is basically along the lines of that," Skye said cheerily.
Leanne's eyes widened so much that she thought they would pop out of her head. There were so many notes! And....they were sort of...illegible. Ah well, at least she had the full set of notes, Leanne thought, trying to stay positive. Sighing, she wondered idly whether or not she would be able to take so many notes some day.
"Thank you! You are a total life saver, Skye!" she exclaimed happily, scanning over the notes quickly.
"Oh, that's great! My day's going pretty good too...come to think of it, I still haven't written my letter home too..." Leanne trailed of quietly. She blinked a couple of times when she heard that Skye was raised similarly. Shrugging it off, she leaned back in her seat again and asked,
"So, what's your favourite colour? Your favourite food? Book? Animal? Your favourite anything?"
