Chase shrugged and stood on top of his desk. He grabbed a net and looked around for one that was nearest him. THe one that had been on his desk had bounced away. He concentrated and swiped at a few at first missing and then managed to get one into his net. He smirked and looked back at the boy who he was talking to. "What now?" he noticed a card on the frog and stuck his hand into the net pulling it out and keeping the frog inside.

A chocolate frog smacked Jake in the side of the head as he peered at his card.

"Ow!" he cried out, looking for the culprit. No-one owned up, so looking at the card again Jake saw he had Hengist of Woodcroft. Why was that name so familiar?

Denying himself the use of his net, Helios crouched atop his table, eyeing the chocolate frogs like a big cat. A couple hopped right past him and into the nets of other students.

Wait for it...

"Got you!" His voice boomed like thunder, while his hand struck like lightning. Snatched from midair, the delicious little hopper struggled valiantly against the vice like grip of his thumb and forefinger.

Freya turned the chocolate frog over and read the famous wizard card. 'Derwent Shimpling.' She thought to herself...'That sounds familiar...but of course now that I need the information it is nowhere to be found.' She would have to go and research later on for sure, not knowing a name was frustrating.

"Looks like some of us have similar hunting patterns..." Freya said to Helios, who was nearby atop another desk. 'It's better for the thing to come to you...not chase after it like a lunatic.'

Lima smiled as she looked at her card. At least she got a good Wizard. Though her thought was interrupted when she heard a loud "OOF!" Looking up she saw that Vannie was sitting on the floor. She headed over to her and said, "Are you alright?" She took a set on the floor beside her and added, "you have SlytherPuff nails?" She was starign at the girl's feet in surprise.

Kaitlynn turned her card over and was greeted by the face of Merlin. She sat there silently and watched the remainder of the students as they stood on their desks catching their own frogs.

Reese finally managed to get the card from the frog and turned it over,so she could see what she got.Mungo Bonham.Intersting.She sat the card on the table in front of her and rubbed the top of her head,again.Tht fall really did hurt.Maybe she shouldn't have been on the edge of the table.That was a stupid idea.

Jack watched this boy stand up and try to catch one of the nets.He looked around a little to see what everyone else was trying to do with them.Such complicated things.. there just Frogs!

Jack watched the boy grab the net and pull the card out, without letting the frog out."I..havnt the faintest..idea what to do.."he said,inbetween glances around the class.

Natka sat down, staring at the card she had caught along with the frog, with interest.

"Ignatia Wildsmith," she whispered aloud to herself.

Vanessa mumbled to herself as she rubbed her head. Trust her to fall over, right next to the table. As she sat on the floor, because she couldnt be bothered right now to get up yet, she looked at her card. Interesting. "I hit my head." She rolled her eyes. "Only I could do that." She added as she glanced down at her feet. "Oh yeah. i has.....Who did you get?" She asked, as she rubbed her head again. Ouch right?

Eva looked at the card she had gotten with the frog. She chuckled. She knew that wizard! She ahd read about him once or twice:
"Ronald Weasley!" she exclaimed.
Aww, teenagers.

Lasca did a graceful turn and slide into her seat, clutching her frog in her hand. Removing the card she preused the picture and couldn't think if she had ever heard of him before. Mungo Bonham. Shrugging she took to searching through her textbook to try and find out who the man was.

The young girl had to duck a few times as frogs went flying over her head. One such frog landed on the edge of her desk. It issued an excited croak and then went soaring again. She couldn't help but giggle. This class was turning out to be more fun then she had anticipated.

CHase shrugged and turned back to the card. "Well they have names on them and Im guesing we are goig to have to research them." he said laughing when he noticed the other boy had no idea what was goig on either

Sara watched as the professor opened a bag and dozens of chocolate frogs bounded from it, jumping in every direction. She squeaked when one almost bounced on her head, but she managed to avoid collision by dodging at the last minute.

"Man, that would've been an easy catch." she muttered to herself. Then another jumped right into her lap and using her quick reflexes she managed to stop it from jumping away with her hand. "Gotcha little fella. You're not going anywhere." She said to the frog. Wow, I'm not even talking to a real animal. I must be going crazy. She thought to herself.

Sara then turned the chocolate frog over and looked read what card she got.

Jack nodded to the boy next to him."Im Jack..by the way.."he said,nodding slightly.He looked around,watching a girl hit her head and then sit on the floor."Right my turn.."he said,getting up and collecting a frog.It wasnt easy mind,he did almost fall over once or twice,causing Jacks tanned cheeks to tint a certain crimson colour.God damn Frogs!.He looked at the boy."Here we go.."he said.He heard someone shout they had Ronald Weasley.He smiled at the girls excited face and turned back to his card.


He looked at the boy next to him."Bertie Bott.."he said,smirking a little

Robert looked around as he stood on his desk with a bemused smile on his face as the chocolate frogs were bouncing around everywhere. His eyes swept the class and noticed several students missing and catching frogs. He gripped his net and looked around waiting for a frog to come near. Time to test my Quidditch skills...

Taking a deep breath he spotted a frog heading toward him and braced himself. As it came nearer and nearer he swung and missed the frog completely. He glanced down and spotted the frog sitting on his desk by his feet almost mockingly. Bloody thing. Setting the net on his chair he got down on his knees and stared at the frog who just stared back. He brought both his hands down onto his desk over the frog only to have the frog slip out and land onto another part of his desk.

Robert stared in surprise at his empty hands and frowned at the frog. Groaning in frustration he brought his hands down again and again the frog slipped through his hands. "What the.." He looked around thoughtfully and grabbed the net and placed it on his desk sideways. He stared down at the frog who was looking up at him almost smugly. With a grunt he slammed his hands down onto the frog but this time the frog jumped beside the net. With a smirk and a twist of his arm he twirled the net so that it landed right on top of the frog, trapping it.

With a satisfied grin he slid the net off his desk with the frog inside the net and his hand gripping the top of it so the frog could not escape, "Thought you were smarter then me eh." He shook his head as he looked at the frog, It's a chocolate frog...you're talking to a chocolate frog... Sliding off his desk he sat in his seat and looked at the others who were still trying.

Chocolate frogs were not meant to have liberty. Chocolate frogs were meant to be slaughtered by the mouths of human beings.

Chocolaty croak, chocolaty croak. One was definitely nearby. Matilda raised the butterfly net above her head. She looked down. It was right by her feet…

Matilda did not think. She hardly blinked. She stomped.

Splat.

Or perhaps, slaughtered by human beings in general.



Matilda handed the unused net to Jack, whom looked as though he was in one. That is to say, he looked lost. "You're supposed to catch them frogs. No idea why, though." She shrugged.

She started to get a bit worried. "You want me to help you up?" Vannie looked like she was having a bit of trouble focusing on anything. I wish I had nails like yours though. And I got Merlin. Who did you get?"

As she unwrapped her chocolate frog and attempted to dodge any mad frogs flying in her direction, Evangeline couldnt help but to look up at Clifford and watch how he was doing in his chocolate frog hunt. Bwahaha. He clearly was much better than her at it and she grinned when he caught his.

But then ... what he did next .. she just broke out in a fit of chuckles. "Oh, just kiss it already, Carden." She joked before looking at her own card, resting her chocolate frog on her lap. Oh .. that was .. interesting. Still chuckling a bit at the memory of Clifford's kissy face, she tried to see which card he had gotten. "What one did you geeeet?"

Chase chuckled. "Im Chase. Nice to meet yo." he said glad he had made a friend on the first day of class. He watched as the boy got onto his desk and caught a frog with little difficulty.

:Nice" he still hadnt looked at his card. He was kinda nervous..

"Hi, I'm called Jack" Jack laughed "I got... A boring card" he sighed

Whitney looked around the room. There were other who had caught their frogs too. Then,remembering the card, she turned it over to see someone who she didn't know. "X- Exa- does anyone know who,um,Xavier.....Rastrick is?" All she knew was that it was some old guy. 'If only it were Dumbledore' She had tons of those,sadly,but she'd never gotten an Xavier Rastrick.

Barry started looking for a frog. He kept his eyes peeled. But this was riddickulus why look for frogs in HOM? It was so, unravenclawish if it was a word. Then spotting a frog he put a net over it "I`ve got you charmed thing. Then he ate the frog [it felt strange] and then looked at his card, it was....

To be honest, Clifford was waaaay more interested in the chocolate frog than the card it had stuck to it. Yup, yup. Nevertheless, he eyed the front of his collectable card as he casually slid back into his seat, shaking a bemused head at the sound of Evangeline's laughter.

What was so funny, eh?

He didn't have the foggiest idea who the famous person on his card was - the name didn't ring any bells at all - but he held it close to his chest anyway, hiding it from view. "I'm not telling!" He answered, poking his tongue out childishly. "It might be against he rules!" Curiousity got the better of him however, and he leaned toward her. "Who did you get?"

Rian beamed when Truebridge let go a bag of chocolate frogs. Chocolate frogs! In class! It was Rian's dream. She carefully reached down with her net and caught one of the treats. Grinning to herself, she cautiously got off her desk and sat down. She couldn't help but smile at the chocolate. Her favorite candy...not wearing shoes...this could easily become her favorite class.
