"Uh... yeah, twice!" she counted in her head.

"Hopefully i might not have to do it again", Edward laughed.

Ella laughed with Edward. "Hopefully you won't!" she said.

Edward smiled. Its was really fun to be with Ella.

"So how's your day been?" she asked him.

"I've benn bored all day. just lying around in the commo room", zEdward said, "Whats ut favorite subject?"

"My favorite subject had got to be Defense Against the Dark Arts," she said. "What's yours?"

It had seemed like forever since the last time he had seen Anna face-to-face. Yes, they saw each other at classes and stuff, but they never really got the chance to sit back and just talk amongst themselves without having to worry about any prefect duties. Thank Merlin for weekend trips to Hogsmeade!

”Come on Anna!” Seth said cheerfully as he led Anna to Madame Puddifoot’s. “I think you need something a little more … healthier … than Honeyduke’s sweets. And Madame Puddifoot’s fits that requirement. My treat!”

He smiled at her and pushed open the door to Madame Puddifoot’s, allowing Miss Anna Greingoth to enter the cozy tea shop first. “So how’s school been going for you? I know that we’ve both been pretty busy as we haven’t really had any ‘down time’ between just the two of us….”

Anna smiled as she walked through the streets of Hogsmeade with Seth Paton. She had been a mess lately, a true mess, and she really did need to try and get better. She needed to do this for herself. She was failing Arithmancy and Herbology, mainly because she couldn't focus in class long enough to perform the necessary calculations or repot all her dying plants. If she expected to ever get any better and move on with life the way Cale had, then she had to make some sort of attempt to get better.

She froze in place, though, when she saw the place Seth had chosen for the two of them to spend their Hogsmeade day in. Madame Puddifoot's was the place where she and Cale had their first date...and shared their first kiss. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, willing herself to straighten up and make it through this without crying or breaking down.

When she opened her eyes again, she took a few more seconds to refocus, and then the smile on her face appeared once again. "You know, you're right, Seth. The chocolate frogs can wait. Thank you so much for taking me here," she said. "School's been...okay," she remarked, deciding not to bring up her two failing subjects. "I'm having a bit of a time trying to focus the way I should, but maybe this little outing will help me a lot. I'm sorry I've been so busy that I haven't made time for you. I've missed you..."

She couldn't help but stop a small bout of laughter as he introduced himself with his full name; he had to be the first person she'd ever met to do that. Which was slightly weird, considering who she'd met back home.

First year? He certainly didn't look it, in Mina's opinion. Then again, hers was slightly biased so it really didn't count. 'Join you? Why not.' She shrugged, eyes scanning the room for an empty table. Well, it still didn't look that busy and even Mina could spot an empty table nearby. 'That one okay for you?' she gestured towards it. Situated near the door, it would be perfect for Mina to check no one was "checking up" on her like her cousins said they would.

Kairi walked past Madame Pudifoot's, her hands deep in her pockets. She felt Nate's vibrations and then Mina's, and they were sitting together, but she could tell they weren't on a date, but a small bit of teasing couldn't hurt...
She pushed open the door, a small bell rang, and said to Mina, "Howdy-do, Mina, Nate, having a good time?" And then she spotted Edward and Ella sitting together, Edward had originally said he would take Kairi to Madame Pudifoot's but obviously, now they had broken up, that wasn't going to happen. But she didn't care, she had Chris now, and she was happier than she'd ever been.

Nate saw the girl trying to hold back a laugh. "It's very nice to meet you and that table looks fine." he said as he took a seat by the window. "So are you enjoying Hogwarts?" he asked her as he fixed his tie and smiled at her. "I'm starving. As usual." he said as his stomach growled.

Nate saw Kairi and said "hello!!" with a smile

At the sound of her name from a differnet direction, Mina turned to glance at the girl addressing her, before smiling. 'Hey, Kairi.' It had been a while since she'd seen her.

She slipped easily into another seat at the table, her eyes trained out of the window on the street for a long moment before she looked back. 'It's . . . okay,' she replied. 'It's a bit strange after muggle schooling, so I'm not totally used to it yet. What about you?'

She giggled softly at his stomach. 'Get some food down to shut it up,' she teased.

"Hey, Nate, good to see you again Mina. Mind if i sit?" Kairi asked, her head still poking throught the door. Then she heard Nate's stomach growl and grinned, "Look's like someones hungry,"

Nate took a bite out of his sausage roll took a sip of his juice. "Er, I love it here. I've been to muggle schools and have been kicked out of a few." he said with his signature grin. "My father is a wizard and my mum is a muggle born. You could say that I've had the best of both worlds." he giggled. He sound way too dorky.

"Sure, have a seat kiddo!" he said with a smile.

OOC: good night. It's 5:22am here. Time for sleep. back later.

Mina shook her head. 'Take a seat; there's always room for one more.' She kicked a chair out from beneath the table for Kairi to sit on.

'Kicked out? What d'you do?' Even if Mina had wanted to be kicked out she couldn't be in her schools, and on that note she now envied Nate.

'You can't really say I have; mum was a witch but never taught me, and dad was a muggle. I didn't know anything about Hogwarts until last year, when I moved in with my uncle.' She'd have done anything to have her mother teach her about Hogwarts, or at the very least let her dad know what she needed to be taught.

'So what was it like, having "the best of both worlds"?'

Jinx Moon walked in. She sat alone. She looked around with her makeup smeared eyes. She had been crying.

Jinx Moon had long silky black hair. Her eyes are green and around the outsid of the green is black. Her skin is pale and soft and she had full red lips which are covered by black lipstick. Jinx had a black pair of skinny jeans on with a body hugging black and red striped V-neck sweaterwith a white sleaveless top under it her shoes were dark red converses.

Ariana wandered into Puddifoots and inhaled the familiar and pleasant aroma. She found an open seat and waved to a couple familiar faces as she waited on Eddie.

Ari had been enjoying her term so far and was looking forward to the rest of the year. She sipped her tea slowly and set the cup back in front of her.

Nathaniel smiled at her as he took a sip of his juice

"What subject do you think you do best in?" asked Ella.

Chris walked into Mme Puddifoot's still holding Melinda's hand. "So you can pick where we sit.". He told her and smiled.

“No problem at all. Honestly,” Seth said as he searched for a table for the two of them a seat not very far from the window of the tea shop. “Anyway, I’d guess that saving those frogs for another time would be better. Though they are irresistible, they can wait a little longer. It’s not like they’re calling out your name, though they are pretty good jumpers. … And I’m sorry that you’re having a bit of a time trying to stay on focus. But trust me when I say this, you’re not the only one.”

Now where was that table?

Yes, Mr. Hufflepuff Prefect already had a table planned out for Anna and he. Hopefully it wasn’t occupied at the moment. It was pointless really, but seeing those initials with a heart etched on the corner of the table was quite humourous. Surely those people were masterminds if they could do that and not get caught.

Then he finally saw the table just begging for the two of them to sit there. Smiling at Anna, he led her over to the unoccupied table. The engraved initials were surprisingly still there. Walking a few paces ahead of Anna, he pulled out the chair that was meant for her to sit at and made a gesture that it was alright for her to sit down at the already pulled out chair.

“You’d think that with the both of us being prefects we’d see each other a lot more outside of the classroom. I guess they really know how to keep a person busy though.” Seth grinned and then added at a light whisper, “I bet I missed you more….”

Anna nodded her hand while Seth joked about the chocolate frogs. Then the talk turned serious when Seth mentioned that Anna wasn't the only one having a hard time staying focused. "I'm not?" Anna asked, her brows wrinkling in confusion. "Is it you, Seth? Are you okay?"

Anna watched Seth as he seemed to be eyeing what he must consider "the perfect table." She followed him over to the table and immediately caught sight of him eyeing some initials etched into the table. "Who are they?" Anna asked, figuring they muct be someone Seth knew if she was so focused on their engraving masterpiece. "Anyone you know?"

"Well, I think you and I should make plans to meet up more often, then," Anna suggested. "The lake, the courtyard, pretty much anywhere that's not the Common Room. I like having you around, Seth. You make me...smile."

Biff had been looking for someone in Madame Puddlfoots but he did not see anyone here. " Biff waved to Seth and Anna. " Hello Seth and my dark-haired diamond sweetie" Biff smiled at Anna with a sly smile. " Seth, how are classes going?" Biff asked him. He wanted to make sure that he added Seth to the conversation.
