First year? He certainly didn't look it, in Mina's opinion. Then again, hers was slightly biased so it really didn't count. 'Join you? Why not.' She shrugged, eyes scanning the room for an empty table. Well, it still didn't look that busy and even Mina could spot an empty table nearby. 'That one okay for you?' she gestured towards it. Situated near the door, it would be perfect for Mina to check no one was "checking up" on her like her cousins said they would.
Nate saw the girl trying to hold back a laugh.
"It's very nice to meet you and that table looks fine." he said as he took a seat by the window.
"So are you enjoying Hogwarts?" he asked her as he fixed his tie and smiled at her.
"I'm starving. As usual." he said as his stomach growled.
Nate saw Kairi and said
