When kayla approached the table Maddox wanted to cralw under it. He hadnt realized she was in the room when they were talking. "Kayla, you may not see it, and i dont know what he did, but i heard from him how he feels about you. I..." He stopped. He knew he shouldnt say anything else, but he continued, "Again i dont know what he might have done. But did you ever consider, it could have been a mistake, or someone was out to get him? It wouldnt be the first time." He shrugged, mostly because last term maddox was out to get Nico for revenge. Now...somehow..they were friends. "Did you ever consider that he is extremely misunderstood?" He wasnt sure how kayla would take all this but...who knows.




Maddox shrugged. "What do you think we were talking about at my house that day over summer?" Thats all he was going to say. He wasnt going to reveal any other secrets. He chuckled, "Yeah it can be a very large soap opera here." He smiled and said, "Thats right you wouldnt." He knew her becuase of the secret society he was in to get Hogwarts back last term. He smiled and said, "And you are my...damsel?" he laughed.

Kayla took a deep breath and let it back out slowly, she was very close to tears but she wasn't about to cry in front of two people she barely even knew. She listened as Maddox spoke of Nicholai and this was now the third or was it the fourth person to tell her that there had to be some explanation to this whole thing. Besides the hurt she was feeling she was also starting to get extremely confused. But Zeph had sworn to her that he hadn't tampered with the photos and she had seen the negatives for herself.

"There were pictures Maddox, of him and three other girls and it looked as though..."she swallowed roughly..."he was with them. I confronted him about it and he couldn't even explain them to me and he didn't exactly deny it either" she looked at Maddox and shook her head slowly from side to side. She had expected nothing else, he and Nico were friends.

"And besides all that I happen to run into him and Anna, the next day, she was in one of the pictures and if it was all so innocent then why didn't she say anything to me? But she didn't, instead she had the gall to stand right in front of me and hold his hand. Believe me I didn't misunderstand anything about that" she crossed her arms over her chest and waited to see what Maddox had to say about that.

Eva nodded at Kayla and thought she should do the same. When, minutes later, she looked in the dorms direction, Kayla was still there, talking at somebody. Eva glanced and tried to hear the conversation. It wasn't hard to understand they were talking about Nico. Kayla seemed to be almost cry. Yes, the girl was strong and she trying to fight it, but what she needed was to cry and have a good night of sleep.

Still, Eva decided to listen to the conversation.
"Did you ever consider that he is extremely misunderstood?" Eva payed more attention to the last sentence. There were otyher people thinking that maybe Nicholai Toussaint hadn't lie to Kayla. What Eva didn't know is that hufflepuff boy was a friend of Nico.

She looked at Tamzin, knowing what she had to do and also what she should do.
Trying to not be rational or care too much about her next actions, she looked for a piece of parchement to write a small note.

Tammy noticed the odd look Eva had gave her and returned it. "What?" She looked at her confused, knowing full well she was planning something.

Lima listened to Mads talking to Kayla in silence. When the girl went silent again she turned back to him and said, "okay, if he's in love with her why is he treating her like that? Obviously she's hurt." She didn't understand guys in the least bit. "And honestly I wasn't concerned with what you two were talking about at that time." She sounded a bit glib with him, but that wasn't her intention; she just remembered the foolishness that had happened at that time. "But soap opera doesn't even begin to cover it." She shook her head and started to laugh. "But will I get to meet her sometime, I wonder?" she said almost to herself. She winked at him with that last comment. "I will if you want me to be." She snorted.

One minute Dominic was talking to two of his new teammates - that felt weird to say - and the next he had been off in his own little world. Not like that was any different from usual though. Until he suddenly remembered a homework assignment due in several hours from now.

"Oh no!" he jumped up from the comfy armchair and looked around the common room. Research... where to do it... places that i shouldn't be, but permission is needed, and I'll need someone who could get it for me

Deciding since Caleum was supposed to meet HIM here, the man was still busy with his friend which meant a new professor was in order. Ooh, pretty blond female; male professors would go for THAT! Despite the fact that she was obviously busy with some other boy, that didn't stop the fourth year.

"Hey young miss there! Come with meee," he said, as though really not giving her a choice. "We're going to see the Potions Master for some transfiguration research." Before she could answer, he grabbed her hand and made towards pulling her up. Impatient much? Yes, he was!

She looked up in surprise as a strange boy not only approached her out of nowhere but then proceeded to try to pull her up from her seat. "Excuse me, what are you doing? Can't you see that I'm talking to my boyfriend right now?" She was completely perplexed as to what was going on.

Dominic blinked at her, astounded with her attitude. Ooh, feisty one... apparently one can just go up to random people expecting them to do what you want... he thought, sighing quietly. Wait! Of course he could; he was DOMINIC DENTON, for cripes sake!

"Taking you to the Potions Master. Urgent that you go," he said, pulling on her wrist again. "You do need to do Transfiguration homework, right?" Merlin! He probably picked the one who already did it...

"Postions Master? For transfiguration?" She was utterly confused. Not to mention baffled as to why this kid wanted her to help him. "Why do you need me to go with you? And no I have not done my Transfiguration yet. I was planning to do it with him," she said motioning her head towards the boy across from her. She was surprised that this kid wasn't intimidated by Mads' size.

"Yes... we need research! Into unventured areas..." He explained, hoping she would understand the need for this. Obviously not though, judging from the look of confusion on her face. And why did he want her to go with him? Oh right, cause most men gave in more easily with a female present; like they were trusted more or something. Not with him, but most men.

"Oh," Dom said, still clutching her wrist, as he looked over towards the taller guy she pointed at. Obviously her boyfriend, whom looked familiar... as though he was at tryouts. Wait, this girl was at tryouts too, wasn't she?

Glancing back at her, he studied her face for a moment before sighing quietly. He wasn't about to give up now. "Hey! You tried out for quidditch team, didn't you?" At least he thought so.

This kid is so... odd, she couldn't help saying to him. Though she'd never say that aloud. Instead she told him, "yes, I was at the tryouts." She frowned slightly in her confusion, when it suddenly clicked. "Hey, I know who you are! You are the new Seeker... Dom?" She grinned slightly and was going to congratulate him for making it on the Team when she remembered what he was trying to do. And she knew that it would make Mads angry.

Adopting a serious look she then proceeded to tell him, "I dunno who you think you are mister, but you have some nerve coming up to me and trying to drag me off. especially when I'm in the middle of a conversation with someone. Next time you want my help, just ask me." She glared at him.

Smirking slightly when she recognized him as the new seeker and stated his 'name', he was about to respond back with something similar to 'thanks. as a matter of fact i am', but stopped himself and frowned at the girl's sudden lecture.

Well that wasn't very nice... he thought to himself, contemplating her expression for a moment. "You've already said who I am; Dominic Denton, the new seeker. Pleased to meet your acquaintance... " he replied back, winking at her. Hopefully she won't get too offended; and if she does, I'll just walk away...

She continued to glare at him, though her expression momentarily flickered, as she had to resist the sudden urge to smile at him. He was stating to amuse her. Then she sighed and shook her head at him. "I'm Lima. And yes, I will help you. But only because you seem desperate. You can work with us if you want..." She was a little nervous now 'cause of Mads. She had wished tat this kid hadn't been so forceful. She ignored the wink and then added, "just no more trying to pull me..."

He frowned at her when she suggested he was desperate. Oh dear! That was definitely FARRR from his intention, which meant she clearly was not in tune with him. "No," he said firmly, releasing her wrist finally. "I don't want you to help me because I am desperate, as I am not desperate. Since I would much rather work alone anyway. Now if you want to help me, then that's different..." Dominic stated, giving her a warning glare, before huffing quietly.

"Good luck... Lima. I see where your loyalties lie." And with that, the fourth year turned away, to stalk off towards the other end of the room.

She just blinked at the kid and called after him, "what are you talking about? Come back here now! I want to talk to you some more." She couldn't help herself. She wanted to know more about what this kid was talking about. "Why do you want my help?"

Pheonix was relived that Miranda hadn't pushed her about her trailed off sentence and gave her a shy smile as she became excited about the fact that Pheonix was a writer. 'Well, kind of, I write fantasy stories because although I'm a Halfblood, I lived a Muggle life until I got my Hogwarts letter.' she replied. 'Sure, that's the second half of my story, hang on, I'll go get the first half if you want to read some.' Pheonix hopped off her chair and bounded up the stairs to the girls dormitory. A few minutes later, she reappeared with a much fatter exercise book. 'I have to warn you though, it's not very good, it still needs tweaking in places and ignore the spelling, its never been my strong point.' she smiled, passing the book to Miranda and sitting back down.

"Yes." she told her and put her hair in a pony tail to hide the ones with blood. "Usually she doesn't have much trouble, but I guess her powers are not working which could mean two things...well one of two things." she said as she finished tying her hair back and beginning to pace to think of something else but the pain. She looked over at Lima and Madds, then she looked over at the young boy and then her eyes landed to the window were her favorite books had been placed by Misty who obviously had a trap set up and...

"A past life." she said to Penny and Misty. MJ noticed that Misty began to say something.

Misty looked at MJ and touched her nose three time then taped her knee once and then she created a symbol in the air and waited for MJ's responce.

MJ looked at Misty. "You are right, you would have no power if it was a past life, nothing you did would change because it has occurred but something must be setting it off. But what?" she looked at Penny and continued to Pace. "First thing is first, I need a spell to stay awake..." she told them.

Dominic spun back around when the blond called back to him. Oh? So you wanna play games don't you? One minute you want me, the next not... i see how it is... he thought, smiling mischievously. "Oh? You were just saying though that you were already in a conversation with someone else..." he smiled wryly at her.

"Because. No reason." He sighed, putting his pockets. "So? Research or not?"

She shook her head at him. "I just am intrigued by your nerve, kid. You act like you own the place and I find that both annoying and oddly interesting." She then raised her brow at him. "There has to be a reason; I mean why me instead of someone that you actually KNOW?" She paused for a second and then added, I don't see why I can't work with BOTH of you." She smirked at him and then turned to Mads. She looked at him pleadingly.

He couldn't deny that he was slightly stunned by her response; intrigued by him? Oh dear. "Don't I?" he smirked, in response to acting like he owned the place. "Ooh I'm sorry, didn't mean for that to come out that way.." Yes I did "Well, no reason other than you need research, i need research, so we do it together and get double amounts of research done." And your pretty blond head gets us into the restricted section. "Besides, I don't know many people around here. Transfer student and all," he sighed, wriggling his eyebrows.

He narrowed his eyes in confusion when she said about working with both of them. "Well, I never said we couldn't, but I didn't KNOW he needed to work with us too. In the meantime, we ought to go and get this done with. He'll catch up..." Dom finished, eying the door towards the common room.

She raised her brow at him. "You march up to a total stranger and try to yank her away from her boyfriend and DON'T intend for it to seem like you are cocky? Interesting." She totally wasn't buying the act that he was using on her. She then sighed at him when he went on to tell her that he was only doing this because they both had work to do; she knew that he was up to something. And because of that she agreed. "Okay. And of course I want him to come too. I mean I WAS planning to do this with him anyway." She noticed him eying the door, but she still didn't make any moves as to getting up yet.

Penny watched and listened to MJ. "So you do reconize him. Have you tried looking up who he is?" she asked. She thought for a moment. "If it is a past life then maybe you can figure out whats going on." she mentioned to her friend. Penny watched Misty as she said something to MJ. "I am not the best person with that. But if we put our heads together, we can come up with something." she said.

Maddox put his hands over his face and mumbled quietly, "females." He then looked up at kayla and replied, "You know Nico has a lot of friends. I Could probably tell you who they are. Can i see the pictures? Who took the pictures anyway?" He was thinking about all the things that kayla had said. Somethig didnt match up correctly. Who would take pictures of Nico, and why? Whos business is it what he does.


"It sounds like to me you didnt even give him a chance to explain, you automatically assumed he was up to no good. I didnt even know you had broken up until a few minutes ago. Did you ever consider that maybe Anna knew how he felt about you and was trying to comfort him? So what if he's seeing Anna now. It probably wont last long." Maddox crossed his arms over his chest and said, "Maybe you dont know him as well as you think you do. Sounds to me like you have no faith in him. I used to not trust him, and I have known him and his brothers way longer then you have, now that I know him, I trust him with every fiber of my being. Why would you trust someone with pictures anyway? That sounds aweful dodgey to me." Mads wasnt happy. He needed to talk to Nico as soon as possible so he could figure out what was really going on.






Maddox looked at lima and said, "None of this fits Lima. It sounds dodgey to me. Something is missing in the information." He was utterly confused, but smirked at her next statement. "You know you were dying to hear what we were talking about." He grinned. Oh this was a soap opera alright, worse then just one. It was about 15 in one. "Its possible. shes very sweet, and you would never know shes Nico's sister. Shes blonde." He shook his head and chuckled a little. "of course i want you to be." He wiggled his eyebrows at her and grinned.

MJ shook her head. "Only his voice, it feels like I have heard it somewhere before, but were..." she put her finger on her lips. "Now that is the question..." she told Penny. As Penny told her that if they put their heads together they might find an answer and MJ smiled. "Arigato! (Thank you)." she told her.

MJ sighed. "I'm not sure how to figure it out thought. For all I know it could be anyone's past life." she told her and looked at Penny as she stopped pacing. "All I know about past life's that they usually come when it is to be repeated and this time it's not for the greater good..." she stopped talking and thought for a bit. "I'm not sure this is going to make much sense but please try to follow me." she told Penny and took in a deep breath

"I'm not sure this applies to past life but I know that dreams occur when spirits enter the human body to interact with the human brain. Some spirits are good, some are evil. Unfortunately, those evil spirits give dreams to trick or scare people, but if I am trying to be a bit logical anyway maybe just maybe a past life who ever it belongs to, maybe it's trying to tell me that someone has done something wrong, or there is something that has to be done to prevent something horrible from occuring." MJ then bit her tongue and sighed. "Or maybe I did wrong, or need to do something..."

She smirked at him and said, "you sound like a detective. Like Sherlock Holmes." She laughed. "And you are right about that, I admit. But I know you well enough by now so I didn't bother asking. I figured that you wouldn't tell me. Or at least not for a while..." She smiled as he talked about Nico's sister. "I can tell that you like her so that's a good thing." No bratty 12 year olds... "and I like that she's blonde," she added as an afterthought. To his last comment she just laughed and said, "you are naughty."
