Tommy slowly walked down to the chairs and sat down in the chair. She gave her a weak smile. Would it be rude to decline the tea and biscuits? She didn't want to chance it. "Yes ma'am thank you." She told her as she nervously fingered the bottom of her skirt.

Rae poured the tea and shoved the plate a bit closer, but she left it at that. "So... what can I do for you, my dear?"

Tommy nervously picked up and cookie and held it in her lap. "Well, um." she said swallowing hard. "This is my third term here and I am almost done with school and I have never spoken to you or even introduced myself." She rambled, hoping she wasn't speaking too fast. "I know its just a silly things, but I sort of feel bad about that." She looked down at the cookie in her lap, not really wanting to eat it.

"Well, you may not have told me your name personally, Miss Riddle, but I assure you that I make it my business to know everyone's name. So why don't you tell me something else about yourself? Tell me something I don't already know."

She hadn't thought she registered much on the Headmistresses radar for her to bother learning her name. Tommy just figured she had more important students to be getting on with. "Um well." She thought about what sort of thing she should share with her. "I am the youngest of 12 girls and I'm from Ghana." She told her, she gather she may have know the latter fact seeing as how Tomasina was one of only two black students at Hogwarts, the other one being from Africa as well.

"Ghana?" She smiled in interest at that fact. "And why are you in school at Hogwarts... well, Belle's School, instead of down in Africa?"

She thought of how she could best answer that question. She didn't want to offend her or say something stupid. She also didn't want to name drop with her mother being the Minister of Magic for Ghana either"Well ma'am I wanted to live around all sorts of people." She shrugged. "My countrymen in Accra do not agree with cavorting with muggles and muggleborns. Its a hold over from our enslavement years." She told her.

"I see," Rae nodded. "Is there anything you'd like to know about me?"

That's all I get? A I see, well this certainly was a exercise in futility. Her shoulders slumped, Mistress Rae was merely being nice to her. She didn't really care about her. Tomasina sort of figured that, Mistress Rae had never spoken to her before, or even glanced in her direction. She was always busy with her fan club.

She looked at the Headmistress wondering if she was asking that question just to be polite or if she was really wanted Tommy to ask her a question. Adults did that sometimes, and more often than not Tommy found herself in trouble for asking those questions. She decided to err on the side of caution. "No ma'am. I seemed to have taken up more than enough of your time." She said standing up and giving her a small smile. "It was stupid of me to bother you with something as trivial as this." She put the cookie in her pocket, she was till refusing to eat. She would give Bast the cookie later on.

"Well, I'm glad that you stopped by to visit, Miss Riddle," Rae smiled at the girl, although it was obvious that she had hoped for a better reception. Honestly, the way some of these students thought they should be favorites just because of who their parents were! Rae tried very hard not to play favorites at all.

Still, manners dictated... "I hope you'll send my love to your mother, Miss Riddle. Tell her how much we missed her at the Gala last year."

Tommy gave her a little bow. "Thank you Headmistress. You have been more than generous with you time."

She gave her a funny look. How did she know who her mother was? "I'm sorry I wasn't aware that you knew my mother." She had only told two or three students who her mother was, and that was only because they had asked. She didn't offer it. Was that why she was getting the cold shoulder from Rae? Because Afia Riddle and her brother actual got along? Well that wasn't Tommy's fault. "Yes ma'am, I will make sure that she knows her presence was missed."

Rae nodded and gave a laugh. "Obviously she's on better terms with my brother, I'm sure, but I know my share of Ministers as well. Thank you for your visit today. Stop by anytime."

She gave her a small curtsy. "Thank you ma'am." She made her exit post haste.

Forrester walked besides Nicoli. "So do we go in?" Forrester asked.

Nicoli strode in alongside his colleague, his midnight blue robes swishing around his feet and his azure eyes glimmering slightly. He stopped beside Forrester and shrugged, "Why not?" he asked lamely, stepping forwards and rapping his knuckles on the door. Time to play up the formalities.

Forrester smiled as he watched Nicoli knock on the door and he waited patiently with his collegue till the headmistress answered and invited them.

The Headmistress opened her office door and glared at the two men. "You are NOT permitted in this school. It is a girl's school." She wasn't normally this rude, but what were they DOING here? And they weren't even professors.

"Sorry headmistress Rae... I'm Forrester Hufflepuff, Head division of aurors and this is Nicoli Vanhattck, head division of MLES, and we are here to investigate a murder that happened in Hogwarts." Forrester replied.

"Hogwarts is closed and your precious Minister is to blame. No one has died here," she gestured at her hallways. "You'll have to go."

Nicoli was taken immediately aback by the cold-if you could even call it a greeting? He composed himself as much as he possibly could as Forrester made the introductions. "I apologize for the trouble," he said calmly after Forrester stopped speaking, "In fact, we are here to investigate all the murder threats and murders of Hogwarts' students' parents." His eyes had lost much of their color now. Not a good start. Perhaps this was why Miss Mrs Cooper hadn't invited her.

Rae sighed, her face weary and her eyes sad. She MISSED Doyle, and the girls missed him too. It was ingenious of Bren to use this school plot to separate her family like this. "No one has died. You're welcome to ask any student in this school, and they will tell you how safe they are. The wards are impeccable, and the children are alive and well. That is all I know."

"Mrs. Rae I guess Mr. Nicoli here can explain this more than me but we had an information about a death here and one of them was a teacher here right?" Forrester asked.

"Yes," Nicoli said quickly, deciding to carry on was the only way to go with this at the moment. "We've received no report that students have been murdered-but they have been receiving death threats. It is the students parents that have been murdered," Nicoli paused, unwilling to allow the student's ears to catch wind of this. "If allowed inside your office-we could reveal the particulars..." he left his words hanging, hoping that in fact the Headmistress would allow it. It didn't look like it though.

"I can appreciate your position, but let me make MY position perfectly clear," Rae drew herself up with a defiant jerk of her chin. "No professor or student has died at THIS school. These girls have been through so much, and I won't have you coming in and upsetting them with speculation. No one has come to me regarding threats, and I know my girls would come to me if they didn't feel safe. If you're worried about the wards on the school, take it up with that interfering Magical Education place or with my dear brother the Minister of Magic. Do I need to help you find the door, or can you do it on your own?"

Amelia made her way down to the grounds floor unsure if this was the correct spot or not. Her suspicions were reassured however when she spotted the headmistress on the nameplate, but below that was written something peculiar. Cece? What in Merlin's is that about? she thought rolling her eyes, but digressed the thought. There were other matters to discuss.

Raising her hand to the door, she was about to knock when she heard voices from within. Male voices! Uh oh - perhaps this wouldn't be a good time after all. The seventh year lowered her hand and instead leaned back against the wall next to the office, sliding down until she was seated on the floor. She closed her eyes, trying to decide what to do next... Maybe. Just maybe, they would leave...
