She gave her a funny look. How did she know who her mother was?
"I'm sorry I wasn't aware that you knew my mother." She had only told two or three students who her mother was, and that was only because they had asked. She didn't offer it. Was that why she was getting the cold shoulder from Rae? Because Afia Riddle and her brother actual got along? Well that wasn't Tommy's fault.
"Yes ma'am, I will make sure that she knows her presence was missed."
