Rae smiled kindly. "Hello, Miss Northway. Come in and have a seat."

Reese walked into the room and sat down in one of the seats in front of Professor Rae's desk."How have you been this term,Professor?"

"It's been a challenging term for all of us, but I like to think I'm surviving quite well," she smiled just slightly. "And how are you surviving it? I know it's a lot to take in, and I'm so proud of you girls for being so strong and resilient."

"I'm surviving,"Reese said."It was really hard on me in the begining,but...I'm doing better."She took in a breath."Well,I just wanted to come by and say 'hello'."

"And how are your classes going?" Rae felt like perhaps there was more going on, but maybe the girl just needed some attention from a professor for a while.

"They're good,"Reese said.Okay,since she was here,maybe she should ask what was on her mind."Professor,can I ask you something?"

"You can ask, but I can't promise that I'll know all the answers," Rae offered.

Reese nodded."The beginning of this term,when I snuck over to the other school,I didn't get expelled.All I got was 45 points deducted and a few days of detention.But,I heard a person got expelled for sneaking over to the other school.Why was I so lucky not to get expelled?I don't understand."

"It probably depended on who found you and on whether you were the first or the last," Rae nodded. "Would you like to be expelled? It can be arranged if you think it's unfair, but I imagine someone more strict caught your classmate than whoever caught you."

"I don't want to be expelled,"Reese said."I was just wondering about that for a while."She looked down at her hands."I better get going."She looked back up at Professor Rae."It was nice talking to you."

"It was good talking to you too, my dear. Have a good evening and I'll see you in class."

"It was nice talking to you,too,"Reese said.She got out of her chair and headed for the door,but stopped."Professor,I also want to thank you for last year.You were really easy on me after I stole that potion.Thanks."She smiled.

A popping sound could be heard throughout the office, a sign that a little house elf had decided to grace everyone with his or her presence.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Beezley yelled, coming into the Charms office, raising her little elfish hands into the air. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Beezley continued to yell on and on for several minutes until her little throat became sore and scratchy. She then ran right up the headmistress, jumped in her lap, and held on to her robes for dear life.

"STUDENTSIES IN TROUBLE!" Beezley yelled, pointing at the door. "Studentsies and professors in trouble! Missus MUST HELP! Quirly is being talked into doing nasty deed! Missus must help Beezley and all studentsies and professors! Missus must come to the KITCHENS IMMEDIATELY!"

"Beezley!" Rae nearly choked to death before she could get the elf off of her. She set the creature gently on the floor and patted her on the head. "Contain yourself at this instant, please. Why don't you just..."

Her attention was stolen by the majestic owl wearing a spun gold collar as it flew in through the window. She knew that owl, and it didn't bring good news. "I fear you are already too late, Beezley."

After reading the note, Rae sighed. "Tell your compatriots in the kitchen that the students cannot give them clothes, Beezley. Only I can. And ask them not to run errands for them anymore, especially not to the Ministry." And the other request... "Two thousand points for Slytherin," she whispered with tears in her eyes.

Beezley tried to hang on for dear life, but her little elfish body was shaking in fear so much that the headmistress was able to pull her off with ease. Beezley just looked up at the headmistress with fearful eyes, ready to start yelling again at any given moment.

She'd just placed her knobby arms up into the air and opened her mouth when another creature came flying through the window. Beezley clutched her pillowcase clothes tightly in her hands and waited as the headmistress read. "Beezley too...late?" the elf weakly replied, slumping her bony shoulders over. "Beezley try so hard, Missus. Beezley was afraid."

Beezley stood up a little straighter as the headmistress began to give her further orders. "No more clothes, Missus," Beezley weakly replied. "Naughty studentses win. Naughty, naughty studentess. Beezley let down good studentses."

With that, the little elf spun around three times, fell face first on the floor, and then proceeded to punch herself in the nose. After considerable damage was done, Beezley looked up at the headmistress again with sad, disappointed eyes, snapped her fingers once, and disappeared.

Amanda went up to the door and knocked on it gently. She couldn't believe this atrocity that someone commited for Slytherin.

Amelia had felt almost that she had just left this office, and yet now she was back. Yet she had to return to visit the Headmistress' office, per request of Vindictus and Clark. They told her she could ask, and so it didn't hurt anything for her to do so. Knocking the now familiar office door, she waited to be called in.

Rae moved wearily to the door to open it, and she looked down on the two girls standing there. "Yes?" her voice was a whisper.

Amelia looked up to see Rae open the door, who seemed far more wary than the last time she was here. She looked to her left where the younger slytherin was standing, who had to be no more than a second year judging from her size, and then back to Rae. Decidedly, she spoke up first in a low voice so that only Rae could hear. "Hello. Is everything alright, Headmistress?" she asked alarmed.

"Fine, dear. I'm fine. Just tired today." She rubbed across her eyes and smiled a bit. "What can I do to help?"

Amelia nodded as the Headmistress said she was tired, which made her think more and more that she would appreciate her gesture she was about to make. "Okay," she smiled back comfortingly. "Nothing much except well, I was wondering if you had any corrections you'd like to send to Professor Branxtion." She hoped that the Headmistress would pick up on her code for message, but with people watching, she didn't want to chance saying anything more descriptive.

"The quidditch official has told me that I could pass them to him," she added on.

"Hello Headmistress, I'm Amanda Lesalle, 1st Year Slytherin. I'm a bit confused with why Slytherin all of the sudden recieved those points and I was wondering if you could explain how that happened" Amanda asked.

Rae smiled slightly at the thought of her husband. "Corrections to the Quidditch line-up?" She stretched her hand out for the paper. "You say Headmaster Branxton will look at these?"

She frowned at the young girl. "The Minister of Magic asked that we... encourage the Slytherins to excellence with a point incentive."

"Thank you Headmistress for clearing that up for me. I'll be on my way back to the common room now" Amanda said, then she left, walking back down the halls.

Amelia grinned when the headmistress seemed to take the hint nicely. "Of course," she said, reaching her hand into her messenger bag. She pulled out a piece of parchment that had her team listed on one side, the other blank. "Only him."
