"'It'?" Erikson eyed Thorton a moment then made his way closer to the boy in question. He took the child firmly by the jaw and looked into his eyes. Though he didn't drop his occlumency, and had no intention of looking through into her. Instead he seemed to become interested in something else entirely. Jezzabell may have even gotten a glimpse of white tangled threads before he let go of her. "Really, childe... did you think you could hide so easily? I thought you looked familiar." He shook his head in disappointment. "You may not like this, Jezzabell, but you must go to the other carriages. Everything will be explained to you once you're at--" he almost slipped, but caught himself. "They will explain things at the castle."

Curt ran towards the carriages, still very confused about the recent happenings of late. He and Savannah, were officially separated, and the hole forming in the pit of his stomach was growing deeper and deeper by the moment. Curt's poor owl was swinging dangerously in his cage, it was pretty obvious that the fifth year Prefect needed to find a carriage, and quick.

Stopping at the first carriage available, Curt opening the door and threw himself inside. He quickly found his seat and set his poor owl Aslan on the floor before him. Curt took a few deep breaths, and quickly took in his surroundings. And as it turning out, he was circled by some very young students. Curt smiled slightly, he wasn't in the mood to deal with someone wondering about the meaning of all this, his split with Savannah was hard enough.

Looking to the two boys, Curt gave them both a welcoming smile. "Good day mates." he said, slightly exasperated. This had been on crazy day indeed. He took note that they were both probably first years, perhaps second years... but even that was slightly unlikely. Curt looked out the carriage window and looked back to them, "I swear the term doesn't always start out like this." he said with a smile, hoping that the carriages would take off soon, He really wanted to get back to their 'place' so he could owl Vannah and tell her what was going on. But cleared his mind, he had to be on task... "Well, I'm Curt... by the way." he said, with a big grin... might as well make the best out of the situation, flash some smiles; make some new friends.

Time for another year of no friends, torture, and humiliation...That was the first thought that entered Friday's mind as he boarded a carriage that just happened to be empty. He looked around, seeing all the other guys hanging out with their pals, in the other carriages; he sort of envied those guys.

He looked down his school uniform and let out a groan, remembering that they're not actually his uniform. They're his brother's uniform, his father was too lazy to remember that his youngest son needed new uniforms. So he gave him Ryan's. The odd thing was, unlike all of his other hand-me-downs, the uniform smelled nice and clean. Realizing he's thinking about his uniform, random reason, Friday went back looking about at the other guys, not caring of what was going on.

Irial heard a commotion outside the carriages and he leaned out to see what was going on. Frowning, he could feel the different emotions floating through the air. He drank them in and made to step out of the carriage. He was going to march right up to either that Professor, or that disgusting looking man, and demand where they were taking the boys and the girls.

But Gabriel hooted in warning and Irial slumped back into his carriage. "You're right," he murmured. "Stay downwind until the feast. Then make a scene if we're not reunited with Caitlin." He made a plan almost immediately, and stuck with it. He wasn't going to show them what he was, but he knew that he was going to make quite a commotion at the feast, he was darn sure of it.

"Curt!" Dusty yelled at once after seeing a him. Thank the lord! You have impeccable timing! He jumped out of his carriage and made a beeline for Curt's, jumping in and taking a seat opposite him. Phineas had woken up by now and was already sniffing Curt's legs. "Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?" he asked the carriage. He knew everyone was probably just as bewildered as he was, but it was worth a shot.

Caleum's eyebrow twitched at the thought of the swimsuit comment. That was totally uncalled for in his books. He sighed as he knew there might be a problem between girls and boys confusing themselves on the carriage but this one took the cake. Good thing Bob had a handle on things.

His eyes stared at the man for a moment knowing this was going to be a fun year with Thornton. With a nod of his head to Thornton, he stepped back a little more and made his way around to gather the rest of the students. Professor Erikson seemed to have more authority over the situation as it was. His hands gave another gesture for everyone to move along and quickly.

Aha! Freeeeedoom!!!!!! Finally, Ryan was free from all the overly-dramatic girls. He felt good. Although a bit shocked at first, he headed toward the carriages designated for those who call themselves men. Oh yeah! And plus, this was the perfect opportunity to finish what Claudian started last term. He just needed to find Sho so they could talk about who to recruit for the SMWC. Ryan already had a few in mind...

Either way, he looked around for people he knew, and only saw Antwone....and...was that Jezz? And she was getting manhandled? Better not get involved with that, Ryan thought.

Now was the time to investigate. Now who to start with?......

"Ha! I knew it" He said to Erikson. He stood up strait with a proud look on his face. Snitching on people was one of his favourite pastimes.

Bob turned back to the girl. "Now that's another 5 points from Ravenclaw for lying. You better quickly get to the girls carriages before it's another 10 or even 20." He said with a smug look on his face.

Jason laughed at Jezzabells idea. Jason is firmly in carriage now but maybe he will see Jamie soon as they get to the feast. Jason will get to the bottom of this too. " Jason told him

Will stepped down; he took his grubby mitts of the girl to eat his pasties, and that was all Will was after. He wasn't looking to lose house points, and whether the girl got in trouble or not was not something he could control, but he'd never be able to stand up as a man if he'd let another man treat a lady like that. EVen if sticking up for her felt uncomfortably Gryffindor. Ick. He'd have to do something to shake that feeling, and soon.

He gave Jezzabell a little smile as if to say "Good luck." He really did admire her spunk-- and he felt a little jealous that he hadn't thought of the idea first.

Jason thinks maybe he should try to wear a dress to go to girls side. No that would be too weird. Jason hopes he sees his girl cousins and his girlfreind Jamie at the feast.

Nicholai sauntered casually over to where the other boys were waiting; glancing around he couldn't see anyone he knew; but then that was hardly surprising as he had somehow only seemed to have made friends with girls as yet; he smirked at the thought.

He could hear the boys were of mixed opinions about it all; most either were glad the girls weren't present or were outraged by the fact. Nico didn't care either way. He could always pull the same trick that had gotten him here in the first place.


A bored expression crossed his face, his dark eyes glazing over slightly; he hoped things would move along quickly.

Jezz stood with her feet planted firmly and stared the professor in the eye. "All of you are lying to us! I know it. You're hiding something and I refuse to leave. We aren't eve going to Hogwarts are we? I saw that weird stuff in there." She pointed at the professors head. She knew the Professor would probably just lie again and force her to leave, but she wasn't leaving without a fight. "I don't know why you're seperating us, but when I find out, and you can be sure I will, you're going to wish you never seperated us to begin with." She had always been tough, and now she was mad. She no longer cared that she was losing house points. She could earn them back later. She turned and looked at Twone to see if he had slept through her little rampage.

Ryan heard someone shouting and looked over to see what all the hubbub was about. Oh gesh. It was Jezzabell, who had already lost 10 points by now. What in the world was this girl thinking? Obviously she wasn't, seeing as Ravenclaw was already in the NEGATIVES.

He looked back over to her area, trying to catch her eye. Once he did, he was going to be sure to shoot her a look that said, "don't you dare. If you keep this up, I won't even consider you for the team." It was a total lie, and she wouldn't know anyway, seeing as he wasn't wearing his badge yet.....still.

But nevertheless, he was giving her the stink eye and was two seconds away from telling her to just leave for the girls' carriage.

Jason has a lot of repect for Jezzabell. " Look Jezz, please be good because I agree with you but you really need to board the girls carriage" Jason told her. Now look who is being one to help out.

Robert walked up to see what the commotion was about and heard that Ravenclaw had lost house points. Brushing his blonde hair back out of his eyes in frustration he stepped up the younger girl that he didn't know. "Look, I know it's kind of silly and shouldn't matter. Just go to the girls carriage and complain later." He was getting fed up of the younger students thinking that they knew the rules. He glanced over at the Ryan who was the new Quidditch Captain and caught the look in his eye. "If I were you I'd leave now..." he gestured over toward Ryan.

Jason finally goes to sleep in the carriage.

"Fine," he said sourly. With that, the tall professor lifted the girl and threw her over his shoulder. "I'll see her to the other carriages. Later Thorton." He waved the others off and made for the other side.

Jezz started flailing but then decided not to push it. Then she thought of something kind of important. "Umm.. Professor can I umm talk to you for a minute before you drag me away. There's more of a reason to me being here than me just wanting to hang out with my friends." She wasn't sure it was an entirely public matter though.

"Fine. We can talk on the platform." With that, he made his way there.

Antwone woke up with a stir once he saw Jezzabell being dragged out towards the platform.

"What's this rubbish then?"

He stepped out of the carriage and out onto the platform.

Derek was out od breath but the time he reached the boys carriages. but still he was in an excited rush as he spoke.


Hey did you heard some of thestudents are refusing to board the carriages becasue od the seperating thiing they are gathereing on the platform.. he hurried of to tell someone else.

Jose quickly got into a carrage and wondered wether they were going to hogwarts or not he wasn't sure he wished he had asked his dad wether or not the ministry knew anything about it but he didn't know this was going to happen. Jose over heard one of the proffesor he thought he recognised from DA his name was Erikson. Jose was sure he was about to say something else other than hogwarts.

Garret kindly offered his hand and Flynn accepted, being pulled into the carraige and now on his way to the castle. "Did you know that the boys and girls got split up when they got to Hogwarts? No one had ever told me this." He wasn't particularly bothered seeing as he knew none of the girls at the present moment. Hopefully that would change.

"Hi Curt," Flynn said to the older student. This was certainly unexpected, Flynn would never have thought the older students would be interested in talking to the first years - well, that was until he noticed the Hufflepuff prefect badge glistening on his chest. "I'm Flynn by the way."

"If this isn't normally how things are done Curt, then do you know why they are doing things differently at this moment?" Flynn was growing steadily worried. He didn't want an entirely changed Hogwarts to the one that he had dreamed of for so long!

"Yes, you irradiate sheer masculine force," Iggy chuckled. "Plus I do not see the females as a distraction. They are more of a annoyance. Something not really needed in present day society. Maybe that is why we are being segregated. We are being taken to the castle, and the females are being sent to be slaughtered."
