"It's Hogsmeade! One of the stores. I'm not sure. With Excelsior and Monica, it was Honeydukes it seems. With Cliff and Evangeline it was Madame Puddifoots." James said, speaking to Professor Vindictus and Emily at the same time.

Josh was sitting by ellie when he heard the kid start talking about other students.. squerrels.. wolves. He walked over to the kid named james.. or thats what ems had called him." Hello." he said to the ravenclaw. " I heard that you were talking about more people changing into animals... can you tell me what you know?" he asked as he wanted to take in all the knowledge he could.

"yes.. i think its candy. its the common factor with everyone's stories." he agreed with the kid." Josh Moonson." he said introducing himself

She nodded as Vannah told them what was probably up with Curt. There was no real need to worry about him, he would be fine. She took a bit of cookie and said, "I'm sure I'm right. There is no way that anyone could go missing from this school and not be found. With all the Professors and several students on it? No way." She continued to encourage her cousins, returning Sam's squeeze on the hand. She smiled at the young girl, trying her best to keep her confidence up. Sam was doing great so far, she was a strong girl. And she wanted to ensure that she stayed that way. "I have no idea when we will be leaving, but I think soon. I believe that there are still a few more people to come. And then there will be a bit of a discussion about the specifics for what we will be doing. But that shouldn't take too long, I don't think." She was looking at all the assembled people as she spoke, trying to see who among the crowd she knew.

Over hearring a slightly alarmed voice, Savannah looked towards another group of students. A younger Ravenclaw, from what she could tell, was explaining what he knew of the missing students. She had heard things about 'Transforming students' but hadn't connected those rumors with the missing kids. Now that she thought harder about it, Ariana had made some bird noise during class, a sqwauk or chirp..she couldn't discribe it.

"Soon, Sam..I think we're waiting to see if anyone else comes." She said, rather absent-mindedly. Alexis and Vincent were going to Honeydukes, the last time she had seen either of them. "It is the candy.." She thought outloud, agreeing with the unfortunate ideas. Of course, Alexis would have been a victum. She never went a day without candy. Never.

"I always told Alexis candy would harm her one day" Savannah admitted, frowning as her gaze turned from her feet to the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.

Cassandra walked into the broomshed because... well because she was the Slytherin Prefect... duh... She turned and saw Juno with a a yellow hat on...
"Supporting the wrong team, Novak?" She said, "We snakes won..."

"What are you talking about you poka-tello reject." He tugged his hat down further on head without thinking. "And I don't give a crup butt about who won." He quickly pulled his dragon hide gloves on over his bandaged hand.

"James Lupet" James said to Josh, shaking his hand. "The eccentric one." Josh would know what that meant in time....in time....

Curt was wrapped in all of his warmest clothes, and his face was ice white, and his nose was stopped up so bad he couldn't even breathe out of it. This morning he had woken up, and he had horrible stomach pains and was puking for hours. His headache's were murderous and he ended up going to the Hospital Wing for a few hours, in a horrible, foul mood because he knew he was missing the Quidditch game. But he heard that there was going to be a search party to find the missing students, and if there was one thing that was more important that Quidditch, it was his friends. The nurse had given him a potion so he was feeling considerably better, but his appearance screamed illness and his voice sounded strained and worn due to all of the coughing and hacking.

Pushing upon the door to the broomshed, Curts face broke into a small smile as he spotted Savannah, Sam and Lima. He walked as fast as he could over to them, which was still considerably slow and came up behind Savannah and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. The potion he had taken earlier had made his sickness non-contagious, so Savannah had to need to worry. "Hey guys." he croaked, his face looking tired. He let go of Savannah and walked to her left to stand around her, Sam and Lima. "Sorry to hear about the Quidditch." he said, coughing into his sleeve as he finished his sentence, he probably should be sitting in the common room right about now, but that was out of the question. Blinking his eyes a few times, he looked around to all of the other anxious students, "When are we heading out?" he said through his strained voice, to Vannah, Sam and Lima.

Sam smiled at Lima. She was glad Lima was saying everything was alright. It sounded childish, but the words were helping. She then replied, "Ok." to them, as they both said they were probably waiting for more people. She didnt really want to go back out into the snow right now anyways. But she was going to go search for Lexi if it took her all night.

Listening to the boy as he said something about candy, it clicked just as Savannah spoke. "It has to be! Lexi was talking about candy in the Common Room a few days before she disappeared. Her and Vincent. I havent seen him around either. They both had to eaten the candy!" her mind was going fifty miles per hour as she thought about the possiblity of all the candy being jinxed.

Sam jumped as she heard a voice croak at them. Seeing that it was none other then Curt, she let out a sigh of relief. At least she knew he wasnt missing. But he didnt sound to good. "Are you ok Curt? You sound awful." she said. Then thinking about what she said, she chuckled. "I didnt mean that in a bad way. I meant your voice." she said.

he smiled at him as he shook his hand." So tell me what you know about students changing..im curious." he was really interested in seeing what he knew." So you say most of them are slytherins? you think the candy is targeted towards just us?" he knew it wasnt true. after all a teacher had been turned.

"No, I don't think it has been turned towards you..." James said "I just think that A LOT of Slytherins are eating candy for some reason" he said shrugging.

he chuckled as he said that too many slytherin's had been eating candy." true." he said as he couldnt disagree with him."so what people do you know of that have turned into animals.. also what animals did they turn into?'

Despite the fact that Amelia didn't even bother to change into dry clothes, she still felt as though she was the last one to the party. Her face was still white, from being windblown and snow still in hair. But she really didn't care that much - they had lost; and she couldn't help but feel at fault.

Gripping her broomstick tight in one hand and her goggles held loosely in the other, she entered the broomshed. She honestly didn't even know why she was bothering; it was clear from her performance today that she wasn't that great of a flier. And then she saw him: Curtis. That boy was going to hear it from her. Marching straight over to the fourth year hufflepuff, she stopped right in front of him.

"Curtis Diggory. Where in Merlin's business were you today!?" she asked, in a rather motherly tone, which was quite unusual.

"Well....From what I know: A Panda, Squirrel, Wolf, Fox, and Cat" James said honestly "The people who are turning into and Panda and a Squirrel haven't disappeared yet. They're in the castle right now. Those people are Cliff and Evangeline. The people that disappeared are Hendrick, Excelsior, and Monica. But from judging at all the posters around school, I'd say there's about 10 people missing"

Knowing Alexis as well as she did, Savannah had absolutely no doubt what so ever that candy was involved. Had Alexis transformed into a 'thing' too? Merlin. If only she would have listened to her and Alicia two terms ago; the whole time they both had been insisting she kept away from sweets for awhile, although then both girls had only been teasing and goofing off, if she would have listened maybe Lex would still be with them helping find the others rather then being one of the others.

Jumping very slightly, startled, Savannah relax immediantly knowing it was Curt before he had even opened his mouth. "No worries on Quidditch, we tried our best and thats all we could do," She said, nodding her head abit. Losing wasn't fun but really, she had a hard time focusing on the game to begin with. Even the match wasn't important compared to this.

"Curtis, you should be resting" She added abruptly, biting her lip and tilted her head to the side to get a better look at him. He would only make himself more sick, being out in the snow. Letting a small sigh escape, Vanna nodded another 'yes' to Sammy. I should have taken her candy away, from the start. She thought, remembering her last conversation with that Gyrffindor.

Their house Prefects voice snapped her out of the small daze, if one could call it that. She tried not finding that tone amusing, because in a way she felt even worse for the poor boy, but she'd never heard Amelia use that voice before. "Mia, he's sick. He shouldn't even be here" Ocean blue eyes turned on Curt, next. "I still think it better you be getting rest, rather then flying about in the cold"

Josh looked at him as he said that the ones that hadnt turned yet were still here..." the squirrel.. who did you say that one was?"

"Clifford Carden, why?" James answered. Cliff was James' friend, a good friend, although Cliff thought James was WAY past weird. Sometimes it was disturbing, but it was the truth...

Josh looked at him..he liked clifford. Why was all the good people being transformed. " Just curious thats all." squirrels were easy to keep.... maybe he could keep an eye on him." clifford is pretty cool." he told him as he then got lost in his thoughts.

Lima nodded as Vannah made that revelation. "I think so too," she said quietly. "I didn't know Lexi too well, but I did know that she had a real sweet tooth. Poor girl had the misfortune of eating that Honeydukes candy." She shook her head as she waited for more people to arrive.


She was glad to see Curt join them though he seemed to be rather unwell. "Glad to see you Curt," she said smiling. "I hope you are alright. you sound rather sick." She was hoping that the boy would be okay. "Well, we don't know for sure, but we're hoping to leave soon. There are a few more people expected I believe."

She turned back to Sam as she revealed that bit about Lexi and Vincent talking about candy in the common room. "I'm really suspecting that it's candy now too guys. Something really weird is going on with it. Now we just need to find out what and how we can fix this problem..." It sounded silly for her to say it as she had no idea as to how to go about doing that. But she wanted to try at least, for the students.

Turning back to Vannah she said, "you did your best. You know how it is with people with sweet tooths... And how were we to know back then that it was the candy? We are only just fitting those pieces together now..." She nodded when Vannah expressed that Curt should be resting and not looking with them. "Vannah's right. It isn't good for you to be out in the snow when you are sick."

"But the thing that I find interesting is that all of them that I know personally, unlike Hendrick, went to the hospital wing and after that they were never found again." James said "The thing is, Cliff and Evangel-" it then dawned upon him. "They're about to disappear, come on!" He said running to the door. "EVERYONE! TWO STUDENTS ARE ABOUT TO DISAPPEAR! IF YOU WANT TO HELP, COME ON!" He said, then running out into the snow and rain and whatever faced him next.

The voice of the fourth year girl was heard instead of Curt's. Vannah was defending Curt's absence; she could not believe her ears. Well, duh, of course they would defend each other - they were dating after all. Sick ... my chocolate frogs! she thought to herself.

She still was unsure who she was more disappointed in: herself, Curt, Jack, or maybe just all Hogwarts men in general. She bit her lower lip to keep herself from saying anything stupid. "Right Vannah, of course. Then Curt, you heard Vannah - you should be back in the dorm room getting some rest." As much as she loved taking care of her friends, she was not in the mood to play doctor right now.

Poka-what? "Novak, was that supposed to be some kind of muggle insult!?" She flipped her hair and looked away from him ahead. "You're off your game Novak..." She said to no one in particular.

She stood listening to the other students, ignoring the dual colored eyed boy. She didn't know much, other than Excelsior was one of those students. She had gotten attached to the boy... she was starting to have the same instinct on the Greenwood girl...

Sana nudged him on his side, "Whom you're talking about? The luckies person on the earth?" she giggled.

"The luckiest person on earth? You may have to refresh my memory on that one," Marco laughed, "I thought I had seen you in here. Taken you long enough to say hi."

Vindictus had been trying to warm himself up and was almost tempted to toss the crazy Ravenclaw into the fire. "Leave him be," he said shaking his head as the kid ran outside. "That particular Ravenclaw has an overactive imagination and eats way too much sugar. Besides, if it were food contamination then all of us would be affected." He shook his head and sat down. "Before we tell you what our plan is and why we need your help, I'd like to hear a few of you tell us what happened to your friends - any strange behaviors, changes in eating habits or appearances."
