Forrester nodded agreement with Marco and even approval of his explanation to the idiotic Ravenclaw.



"That's Enough!" Forrester told the two boys, "Marco, thank you for trying, but it seems this particular Ravenclaw would much rather argue than listen to sense."

With that, Forrester turned his full attention to Barry, "You need to learn your place. Professors and staff are adressed by their titles and surnames. You are not on a first name basis with them. You will give each staff and upperclassman the respect they deserve. When you go to a staff persons office, you will not stand there silently until they dismiss you. You, also, will be serving a detention with me. This is the end of this conversation, so that Professor Vindictus can finish getting things organized for the search."

With that, Forrester turned his full attention back to the other professors, anxious to be going.

Cora beamed as Professor Forrester ended the discussion. "Here, here." She said, smiling in admiration at her house master. She saluted. Oh no. She'd started THAT again.

"Well then. Now that all the arguing and saluting and such is over...I think we ought to go find some students!"

Marco nearly hugged Professor Forrester. That man was brilliant. That boy had detention coming to him for ages. And now he finally got it. And for yelling at Marco. Shame he didn't lose any points though.

"no promblem." he told her as he smiled.

" well just dont fall off your broom. Since your such a fantastic flyer im sure you wont have a promblem. you know if you do fall off, well will have to search for you as well. You really will have to eat snakes for breakfast." he teased her a little."oh." he told her as he then introduced the two." Agie this is Lyra. Lyra this is agie. She is the gryffindorks captain in quidditch." he teased agie. He looked over at her with a small smile."what place are you guys in again..was it last?' he teased.



Josh nodded at Forrester as he then waited for them to advanced towards the grounds.

Hermy tried to block out the exchange between Marco and the young Ravenclaw. For one she was slightly embarrassed that the first year was from her house and was risking losing valuable points with staff in the vicinity, and secondly she knew Marco would argue until he was taken as right. Which he seemed to be, though the Ravenclaw didn't understand that.

Instead Hermy looked at Marco's broom, smiling at the name he'd given it. She'd never really watched the series she thought he'd named it from, but she figured it was fairly appropriate. Just like the name of her broom. Hermes. The flying messenger to the Gods. She cherished her broom, and hoped that Marco would not feel angry at the changes she had made to the handle. Luckily it hadn't seemed to have had an affect on the balance or handling.

Rhiannon swiped another cookie off the table, seeing as she'd finished eating the first one, and hadn't eaten much that day. Also, the cookies were keeping her from doing something she thought she might regret, like casting a spell on the belligerent first year.

She was relieved when the professor reprimanded the boy, since it was another reason she could avoid living up to Josh's nickname for her. Taking a bite from the cookie in her hand, she glanced around the room to see what everyone else was doing while waiting for the search to begin.

"But there's a problem" she said with a mild chuckle, "You may divert me, when you fly." Who doesnt get diverted? She was amazed at his skills the previous day in the match.
And now she was feeling so proud tobe with him.

Marco laughed, "Now why would I do that. Though I may possibly have to show off. Possibly barrel roll over you. The usual aerobatics really." He ran a hand through his hair, and munched on a sandwich.

she laughed back, "Man..I luff teh aerobatics, so I wont mind at all" she nudged his side. She saw him eating sandwiches, "Hey, you didnt even ask me, it's not fair" she teased him, not that much hungry though.

"Now come on Josh. You and I both know that's never going to happen. Me fall off? Never!" She laughed and shivered at the though of actually eating the snakes. "I think I'd rather stave." She poked her tongue out.

Agie looked over as Josh introduced her to Lyra. Finally! So this is the one that cause so much trouble. Agie smirked a little as she remembered knocking Christian out to feed him the love potion. "Hi Lyra. I've heard a lot ab." She stopped suddenly as she heard Josh. "HEY! Who are you calling a dork!" She said punching him on the arm. "Just you wait for Quidditch."

She turned back to Lyra and shook her head saying, "Slytherins!"

Amelia was just listening to Marco and the Ravenclaw boy go back and forth. She was thankful for Forrester stepping in to give him detention; finally... she just hoped that it would make a difference. These first years were driving her insane.

She walked over to the refreshment table, where she poured herself a cup of hot cocoa. Although much warmer than immediately following the quidditch match, the sixth was still cold and her robes dampened. Figuring she would warm up with some hot liquid, while the Professors decided how to split up the students. Sipping her cocoa, she hoped Fabian would pick her on his 'team', considering she wanted to be in one of the flying groups.

Lyra snapped out of her day dream, looking up as Josh spoke her name again. She quickly covered her expression with a smile towards the girl she was being introduced too.

"Nice to meet you, Agie," she giggled watching the two of them together. She studied her face for a moment trying to remember where she had seen this girl before. Clearly she was everywhere almost all the time but...where? "Fab-" she broke off in a whisper as she pressed her lips together. Now she remembered the girl from the terrible incident at Fabian's office the other day, an image that should have popped up at another time besides now. She returned her smile once more as she pushed her hair behind her ears.

Agie smiled at Lyra, but noticed her face changed and she started to whisper Fabians name. It was probably best to ignore this, and pretend she never heard it. Maybe the subject was still a little too touchy. At least she'd never know what really happened. It would probably hurt her more. Agie looked back at Josh and then back to Lyra. "You can fly with me if you like. I think Josh's head is a little too big for us all to fit on the ground." She said giggling. "

Lyra gasped at the thought of flying. First water and now flying. Geez! "I'm afraid that I will have to pass on the flying," she giggled a bit. "See, I'm a bit rusty when it comes to flying and brooms. Lyra + Brooms = Mechanical Failure...not a good thing." She shook her head for a moment as she closed her eyes. "But maybe on just an off chance that I might get over my fear of flying brooms, then I will definately look you up." She chuckled once more. "I think it might be bad enough climbing over rocks and tall limbs."

"Ow. They are on the table," Marco said, pointing his sandwich towards the table, then he finished it off in one. He swallowed, "I love doing aerobatics. Shows off my amazing skill with a broom," he laughed.

"Sokay, I'm not hungry. I'm just teasing you" she laughed, took another glance of the place. It was quite packed and mostly the flyers. "Dont tempting me. I'm so eager to see your aerobatics skills though I've seen quite some amount" she complimented lavishly.

"Oh ok," Marco frowned a bit. These Huffies were crazy. That reminded him, he wanted to talk to Lyra. "Excuse me a moment Sana. I need to talk to Lyra, you can come as well if you want to."

"Sorry" she said as she noticed his face reaction. She should be careful with her fun strategy. When he offered, "Aw..nope." she shook her head, "You just carry on. I'll be here", smiled.

"Sorry for what?" Marco frowned again. He had probably confused himself, as always. "Are you sure? You are welcome to join me, it won't involve Josh being there."

"Nothing, I thought I was upset you with my teasing" she looked up at him, relieved by his tone. "Yeah" slightly chuckled, "Nah..it's nothing related to him, I'm just prefer to stay here. Carry on.." she gestured to go.

"No you hadn't upset me. Just confused me is all. But I confused very easily so it is nothing to worry about," Marco laughed. "Ok. You can talk to Fabian while I am gone." He smiled at Sana, and headed towards Lyra.

He tapped her on the shoulder. "Erm excuse me Lyra, may I have a word. In private."

"come on...i think you've mistaken me with someone else." he said as his eyes drifted over to marco. " anyway we are walking. i would like to do some exploring inside the forest. You know because thats where animals live...its the first place i would go if i was an animal. we all know i've been turned into one."

when she hit his shoulder he chuckled." Yes you can cream me at quidditch. their is no doubt about that. Maybe i'll learn something." he told her as he was chuckling still. Agie was like his sister and one that he could tease with and not get upset.

"im sure your not that bad." he told her as he smiled at her.


Josh looked over to see marco bother lyra. Couldnt the guy just leave them alone. He looked over at lyra and gave her a small smile as he then looked back at agie.

She laughed with a relief, "Okay, I just confused" she nodded, "I should, but something privately..definetely not here" she winked and watched him go.
Turned and scanning the place again, ofcourse waiting for the next instruction from the professors.

Emily overheard Josh and sidled towards the boy. He was going on foot – Ems was sure Ellie would be flying, because she was so good on a broom. “Josh….?” she asked in a slightly whiney voice. “Can I come with you?” she asked, knowing that the answer would probably be ‘no.’ He was surrounded by girls again after all. ‘Ickle Emsy’ would just be cramping his 'studmuffin' style.

From her position near the refreshments, as well as the professors' meeting, Rhiannon could see just about everyone in the room. She was startled, however, when Amelia came over to get more hot cocoa. "Hey," she said quietly, not even sure if the Hufflepuff prefect would hear her over everyone else.

Behind Amelia, she could see Marco go over to Lyra, and could just imagine what Josh was thinking, since he was also there. Trying not to snicker, she half-smiles at the thought of the Slytherins getting into a conflict.
