Rhiannon straightened up from her position leaning against the wall as several Slytherins joined their group waiting outside Professor Dresden's office. She suppressed a snicker as she realized something. We now have all four houses present to discover the secret behind what's wrong with Professor Dresden. Although, I don't think these guys are here strictly out of concern for their professor. She felt that the situation was inappropriate for laughter. There had been a strange roar from inside the office, and then another professor had gone in to investigate. And they had tried to provide backup, which was rebuffed.
At the one Slytherin boy's starting to yell, she quietly but distinctly said, "I'm not sure he's in a position to hear you. I mean, you can yell if you want, but it'll probably only make you hoarse."

Not only did she want to not have to worry about the students, but she had business with Dresden she rather the kids weren't involved in.
In the darkness, Professor Dresden sat, curled up into a ball. What could only be called fur had erupted all over his body, and after a furtive glance in the mirror he saw his face had changed so it looked like a mixture of Adam and... White Tiger?
He stayed silent and unseen as the new Transfiguration professor entered the office, followed by a bevy of students. Adam was grateful that the Professor had asked them to leave, baffled as he was that they even dared enter an office from which he had involuntarily roared just before.
He waited til the students had been ejected from the office before speaking.
"Why are you here?" he asked from the darkness behind his desk.

Rhiannon looked around, baffled at the number of students that were now there. The corridor outside Professor Dresden's office was getting crowded, and none of the newcomers seemed to have paid attention to the fact that she had said that they had been waiting for a while without hearing from the professor.. She remained in her position near one wall as she looked around the crowd, trying to catch the eye of Amelia.

As more and more students showed up, When became suddenly self-concious about the chocolate chip cookies scattered all over the floor. She tried to kick them to the side, though most of them had already been stepped on. Well. They'd just have to deal with the fact that they'd be tracking cookies all over the castle.
When the thought hit her, cookies slipped out of her mind. It wasn't particularly smart. Had she not been caught for eavesdropping before? And was it pleasant? Not particularly. But how could she resist.
"Erm, could you excuse me?" she asked, trying to make her way toward the front, where the door was. "Thanks... Sorry," Whende muttered when she accidentally stepped on someone's foot. She pressed her ear up against the door. "Could you keep it down a little?" The last little bit was shouted, loud enough for everyone there to hear for sure.
Stupid professor's doors. They were so thick. She could only hear bits and pieces. Couldn't they talk a bit louder?

She was just as curious as the rest of them about what was going on inside.
