"Wow, long names are really tough when it comes to Arithmancy," Anna thought to herself. Anna made herself a checklist of numbers similar to the one she had seen the professor do. She found herself checking off each and every number, as well. "Interesting," she thought. "I don't seem to have any Karmic Lessons either..."

Anna drew an arrow to the number 5, noting that it was "Possibly my Hidden Passion Number." The text did say that your HPN was the number that occured most often.

Kerry grabbed her quill, and after finishing the last of her notes, she began to calculate her Karmic Number or Lesson.

Emily raised her hand. "Is this correct professor?"

Professor Shackleton explained to Saylie and to the remainder of the class, "Saylie appears to be missing the numbers six and eight from her name. This would indicate that she is lacking and needs to work on the properties of the six, which include nurturing, artistic nature, balance and community service, amongst other qualities. The missing eight suggests she needs to work on taking authority, working with money, and being efficient.

"Now, there are two things I must point out. Number one: make sure that once you've found your Karmic Lessons you refer to Chapter Four of the text to see what vibrational characteristics you should be working on presently. Number two: Whether you have to start from scratch and developthe missing qualities indicated by the missing numbers depends on whether you have any of these Karmic Lesson Numbers in your Core Numbers. If you do have any of these in your Core, the overall effect of the karmic lesson is lessened, meaning you have an innate abaility to handle these karmic situations as they arise.

"So, I would like everyone to make note of which qualities you need to work on if you have a karmic lesson, and also for those people, to check your four core numbers to see if any of the missing numbers are present."

Professor Shackleton then checked Emily's work and noted, "Yes, it is correct. So you need to work on the qualities of the two and the eight."

Zoraida wrote out her name on her parchment. Instead of writing all the numbers under her name she just looked at the chart after writing it down underneath her name.
Having alot of letters in ones name made it easy to tell that she would likely not be missing any letters. Which taking a look at it she realized was definitely true. All letters present and accounted for.

Then she flipped her book and realized she did not have that many pages left. She should have spoken up in the beginning however since she was in the back looking over the textbook she did not.

While the other students were busy trying to study the qualities they need to work on, Anna began flipping through the text, looking for something that would tell her exactly what to expect if you WEREN'T missing any numbers.

Willow took her quill an start writing the calculations on her journal

Willow finished making the calculations of her name, realizing that all the numbers were present in her name. Not knowing wether her calculations were correct she raised her hand and called the Arithmancy teacher, "Professor Shackleton, is this alright?"

She nodded, it was close to what she had been thinking, though not spot on. She knew she wasn't strong in some of these areas, but didn't know that it was so easily seen in the numbers. She smiled and flipped back to the first page of her journal, the one where she kept all of her numbers, and added these to the end of the list.

"Professer I need to work on building and expanding what does that mean"

Professor Shackleton made her way over to Alex's desk. She glanced over his work and explained, "You've done everything correctly up til here. Now make the checklist of numbers present and absent. You seem to have at least one of each of the following: one, two, three, four, five, six, eight, and nine. The only missing number is seven. So refer to Chapter Four in the textbook and make note of which qualities of the seven you need to work on. Also, check your Core numbers to see if a seven is present there, thereby lessening the amount of effort needed to fulfill your Karmic Lesson."

Barry joted down fours qualitys : Hard work, planning, cautious, conventional, management and order, building, symbolizes putting things into form, foundation, organization, power, practical, wisdom and 8`s:Authority, achievement, money karma, problem solver, power, expansion, business, mastery, manifestation, skill, efficiency, status, appearance, material.
He didn`t get it he had everything in 4 but why was he missing it he said
"Professer it says I`m missing 4 but thats what I have most is there an error or somethng"

Professor Shackleton scrambled over to Jessy's desk, looked over his work thus far, and explained, "Now you look to see if you are missing any numbers in your name. You seem to be missing a four, six, and seven. So you need to work on the qualities of these numbers. Refer to Chapter Four of the textbook to determine what the specific qualities are. Also, check you Core numbers to see if either a four, six, or seven are present. If so, mastering these missing qualities will be a bit easier for you."
