There are four gumball machines near the exit to the sweet shop. They have been charmed to accept wizarding money instead of muggle money. If you have any knuts in your pocket that you are just dying to get rid of, why not buy a few gumballs with them? All you have to do is place the two knuts inside the little slot, turn the knob, and watch as the gumball travels down the maze and to the little compartment at the bottom where you may receive your gumball. Enjoy!

Remember 2 knuts = 1 gumball!

Okay, so he didn't mind being patted on the shoulder... but the feeling kind of made him shiver slightly. "Oh you're... you're welcome." he said with a little smile, rubbing his arm slightly in a bashful manner. Yeah... he got like that a lot. Heh.

Cute is a good thing..? "No... cute gets you bullied..." he muttered, the blush finally fading. Yeah... He grinned when she called him cool though. "Yeah, we're the coolest people in the woooooooorld." he said. That reminded him actually... "Oh! I have a Batman comic book with me if you want to borrow it..?" He opened the messenger bag that hung at his side and took it out, still in the protective sleeve. "It's one with Poison Ivy in it... just wash your hands before you take it out of the sleeve." He held the comic out to her sheepishly.

"Yeah I hope so... I used to like lessons and stuff at school." Especially maths... because it was logical. And art... he really didn't know if either of those things related to magic at all but... he liked it. "Yeah most of the people in my family were in Slytherin." he said. "I dunno if I'm cut out for that though." he added. Because he wasn't exactly sly... though he supposed he could be called ambitious - he wanted to be a superhero. MHMMM!

It was hard trying to get a gumball out of the machine with bags in your hands. It was even harder doing it while also holding a little baby. And it was especially hard when said baby was currently pulling your hair.

"Ouch! Isabel, let go of mommy's hair." Amelia placed her shopping bags down and started prying her hair free.

Jasper adjusted the diaper bag on his left shoulder and held his nephew Anderson with his right arm. Yep, they were going to get some candy. Anderson just celebrated his second birthday a couples weeks ago and Jasper wasn't able to get him anything and him and Anderson has both been busy because Anderson's older sister was at the hospital for some unknown reason. Jasper was worried about his niece but he wanted his older brother Casper and his sister-in-law Beth to get a break from the three kids so Jasper took Anderson, Julian took Dylan and Katlas took Ashton.

Now on there long journey to get some candy when Jasper sees his bestest friend in the whole wide world (besides Zayden) MIA! Jasper walked over to Mia and his goddaughter Issy. "Mia! Issy!" Jasper said happily in his Scottish accent while Anderson giggled, trying to touch Mia's face.

Losing Zayden didn't really surprise Jasper at all. Although not much surprised Jasper nowadays. "How does that not surprise me?" He asked her with a small laugh. "Aww." he smiled looking down at baby Issy. How was Jasper? Well he had a lot of things going on at them moment. "How am I? I'm not really to be honest." He frowned.

"Meme, meme!" Andy exclaimed happy with a burp. "Meeeeeeeeeep." Anderson yelled out to everyone. Jasper couldn't help but laugh at him.

After taking out the chocolate frogs she grabbed for a 4 lollipops, 5 chocolate bars, 4 fizzing wheezbees, 8 lemon drops and just before her hand got too cluttered she grabbed a packet of jumping gummy bears. "Okay, I think this is all I want...for now," She turned to her father. "Can we come back tomorrow because I see some more that I want."

Seeee! He wasn't the only one to freak out at the word boyfriend!

"You may check out at the counter when you're ready." M'hm, because he was still running a business and he time was money...and he'd invested quite a bit of time with Lexa and her father. Heh.

Peyton grinned. The usually emotionally driven fourteen year old didn't hold back on how she expressed herself and this was a first that she held herself back. Meh, it was good practice since Johnny always complained how clingy she was. Though, she knew he secretly liked her hugs. He was like the BEST BROTHER EVER!

Then she frowned. "Bullied?" she repeated. "Pffft, I'll bully whoever bullies cuties," she said, crossing her arms on her chest. For she was Sailor P for no darn reason. Pffff. Cute gets you bullied. "Besides, whomever does that is probably jealous they can't be cute." And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, was Peyton logic.

In fact Xander almost had the urge to move away, even though he knew she wasn't going to hurt him or anything... "I really don't think some bullies want to be cute..." he said. "Some of them seem to want to be all big and horrible." And cruel... and they'd beat up anyone who was different...

"I don't really know much about the houses..." he admitted, shrugging slightly. He hadn't actually done any research or anything... all he'd heard was Slytherin was the best and Hufflepuffs were... fluffy. Mhmm. "Oh, he is? That's really nice, but you really don't have to do that." He didn't need looking after... though it would be nice to know someone older... just in case.

This was new, Olivia had been noticing more and more contraptions like this in Diagon Ally this term; such as the game box in the bowling Ally which she still had yet to play. Whatever wizard had invented these things had to be pretty smart.

Olivia removed some money from her pocket, she was actually going to take quite a few gumballs cause she had a sweet tooth. As the instructions indicated, she inserted the coin "here" and turned the crank. Only one gumball came out, so Olivia cranked on her Slytherin cap. inserting another coin, she twisted the crank again; but this time she gave the contraption a hard shake at the same time she turned the crank. As expected, a handful of gumballs spilled out. Satisfied, Olivia popped one into her mouth. There wasn't anything in the rules that said she couldn't do that.

Hmm, that actually made sense. So she wasn't going to get mad at him for not informing her or her husband. "It isn't serious is it?" Because if it was... forget being nice, she was going to beat him up for keeping her in the dark. Forget not wanting to alarm her.

"You are still good, Jasper." She smiled before grabbing on to one of Issy's hands and raising it to her lips for a kiss. Thankfully the baby had calmed down again and stopped crying. "Uncle Jasper is too hard on himself, isn't he, baby girl?" Way too hard on himself.

Sure of it... mhm... "I... am. Yeah... I used to... erm... know a lot of them." he said, shrugging and shifting uncomfortably. He'd been an easy target in his muggle school... the scrawny little year seven kid with OCD and a touch phobia who lived in foster care, and the other foster kids rarely stuck up for him - he had weirded them out or something.

Hogwarts, A History? "Oh that would be awesome!" he said with a smile, his eyes lighting up a little. He loved books, and finding out about Hogwarts sounded brilliant! After all, that was where he'd be spending the next five years there... if his social worker allowed it. Pfft. He has to..? Oh... "Well, I guess I'll meet him soon then..." Xander said, smoothing down his hair absentmindedly.

Melanie walked carefully in her heels. She had decided that today, she would be better off focusing on her walking and balance than other... things... such as Landon. Because that was definitely something she needed to get past. The Gryffindor was enjoying her break, or trying to. There were bags under her eyes from staying up way too late that her cousin had tried to conceal but she wasn't too sure if it worked or not. Flooing hadn't been too much fun either. But she did that because she liked being here... and stuff.

She brushed her hair aside and took one step at a time towards Sugarplums and the gumball machines. Melanie did like gumball machines and that would help her... stop thinking. Yes. She could put in the coins and watch the gumballs swirl down and down into her hand. She wouldn't mind that at all. The girl finally reached it and stared at the colorful balls resting. Which one would belong to her?

Colorful... ooh...

Welcome to London, Christina!

This is the first time for Christina Jung visiting London. Yup, eventhough she often moved from one country to another one, but she never lived or visited England. Even her brother lives here. She walked around the Diagon Alley until she found a nice shop which was full of sweets. Sugarplums. YAY! Sweets here I come!

Speaking of, where was her brother? HUEEEEEEEEEEEE..... So just now she wondered around Diagon Alley alone by herself? But quite lucky that she stopped at this place, hehehe. Okay, let's find Daniel later and go eat more sweets! Chocolate, Lollipops, Bubble gums, sugar quills, what else? Hopefully she had much galleons to buy all of them.

Oh look! There's a gumball machine here! *beams* She wanted to tried it too! Christina picked two knuts from her pocket and watched there's a girl who also tried it. "Hello!" she smiled at her. Yeah, be nice to people here Christina!

The Gryffindor continued to stare at the gumballs before shaking her head and finally remember to rummage around in her bag for her purse. Melanie was just about to put in the two required knuts to make this machine work when she heard a cheerful hello. Slightly alarmed, Melanie dropped her wallet and turned to see another girl there. Melanie's eyes had gone wide before she picked up her wallet off of the ground. She stuffed it back into her bag and waved at the girl with one hand.

"Hello!" Melanie replied, zipping her bag shut and sticking her hand out. Maybe she'd get a gumball later then? Hopefully a pink bubblegum flavored one. She loved those. "I'm Melanie, Melanie Sung," she greeted. Ah.... what did she say next? Or did she just... stand there... awkwardly? She didn't know what to do!

"OOHHHH Gumball machiiiiiinnnnnne!!!!" Lex grinned as she made her way over to her old friend. It would have been even more her friend if it dispensed chocolate frogs but you know...gumballs worked too.

She gave the machine a good old PAT for old time's sake. She remembered this machine reeeeaaalllyyy good because it tried stealing her money without giving her her gumballs. Naturally she didn't care about the money; hello, that's why she stuck it in a machine in the first place! The thing that got her was the no candy in return. That just couldn't work and in fact it didn't.

Hehe she also remembered the funny shop keeper. He didn't seem to like the friendship she and the machine shared.

Okay, this reminiscing would have been better with said gumballs so she stuck her coins in there and waited....and wait...

Then there was more waiting...

Dear Merlin, not again. "Whaaaa?! Stupid thing! Gimme my bloody candy!!! This isn't fair I thought we were friends!!" She gave the thing a few well placed 'whacks' but even that didn't work. Wibble. She wanted the candy...it was things like these that made her aggressive -___-

Xavier let out a very long, comfy sigh. It was that time of the year again. The time where the cobbled street that was Diagon Alley was going to be filled with loud, energetic kids. This time, he had brought his own bunch, though majority of them couldn't be called kids ~~since they were over the age of eighteen~~. But what the heck, his babies will ALWAYS be kids. Mwahahaha!

He stretched his arms and walked out from the storage room. Cornelius, his three year old son, was in the back napping, so he didn't worry about the child running around while he was out here.

The man was checking the aisles and making sure things were up for show...when heard it. More like HER. He heard HER!

Not his precious baby, again!

Xavier rushed over, his mouth falling agape. She was WHACKING HIS PRECIOUS BABY!

"Lexa!" he said in his most calm, yet not very so calm voice. He's had enough trouble from his thirteen year old daughter, that this...it freaked him out that teenage girls were taking over.

"Lovely to see you," attacking my baby, though he left that out. He coolly walked over to the machine...and HUGGED it.

The man was hugging a gumball machine.

Messer was supposed to finish his shopping for school supplies but most of the shops were packed with Hogwarts students, so he decided to stroll around the Diagon Alley until he arrived outside the Sugarplums Sweet Shop. Yum! Buying some candies won't hurt, right? Books, inks, quills and other schools supplies can wait after he get himself some candies.

There's a lot of candies in this store. Chocolates, Gummy bears, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Chocolate Frogs. But the thing that caught his eyes when he entered the shop not the candies display but the Gumball Machine. Messer fished into his pocket hoping to find a few knuts.
