She really had no idea what was going on with France. She wished she did, but until she had more time to look into it she was at a loss. "I'm not sure about that actually," she told Iridesca honestly. "Right now the division is basically just trying to organize things. Sounds boring, I know, but it also needs to be done." She hated being negative, but that was the simplest way to put things sometimes. As she was just getting ready to say something else she remembered what Iridesca had said and corrected her, "it really wasn't to do with cauldrons. It was more so to do with transportation."

She pushed her hair back out of her face. Her bangs were getting in her way, but for now, they'd have to be left how they were. Her mind wandered for a minute, and she found herself thinking about Iain again. That seemed to happen a lot lately. He was never far from her mind. She truly hoped this new job wouldn't hinder things between them. She glanced around her room, smiling at Jenkins and Jacob, while trying to get her mind off Hunter. "So how about that tour?" Lili asked the new division head turning her attention back to her.

She turned around slightly to look at the two men sitting on the couch and said, "I'll be back in a few minutes, I'm just going to go show Iridesca to her new division. Jacob, I'd like to talk to you about your division as well when you get back." She really hated to make them wait, but she wanted to make sure that the division head was settled in. Walking towards her office door she smiled apologetically at the guys one more time before she exited the office, closing the door after Iridesca exited as well.

Lili walked back into her office after she had shown Iridesca where to go. After she sat back down behind her desk she turned to Jenkins. "Sorry about the wait, I had to get the new division head settled. Now what can I help you with?" she asked.

"That's all right," said Jenkins, "So...I have a question. What are we supposed to be doing? I know I should probably be talking about this to my division head but I haven't seen him around."

"You haven't seen Iain around?" She asked, a little worried. He'd been in her office earlier, but she didnt know where he got to. "Right now, we're just trying to organize everything," she told him in all honestly. "Just making sure the files in the different divisions are up to date," she finished. "If you'd like, I can stop by your division. Trading Standard Body right?" She asked, knowing it was.

Iridesca could hear that Lili was talking to someone in her office, so she tied the bottle and invitation to her door.



She really hoped the news would spread and the department could have a fun get together. And that Lili would be able to attend.

"No," said Jenkins, "Haven't seen him around. And, yes, I work in the Trading Standard Body, but I don't think you need to stop by. I was just wondering what we do in general."

"You're office deals primarily with trade," she told him. "Though, at times we may need TSB to assist with other things in the department." She hoped that that would help a little at least. She got up from her desk, and walked over to the door, she thought she had heard someone there. But when she opened her door all that was there was a bottle hanging from the door. Taking if off the doorknob she went back into the room, taking the message out of it as she walked. She smiled when she read what it had said. Maybe she'd open the conference office up for this.

"Thank you for your assistance Ms. Hayman," said Jenkins as he exited her office.

"Any time," she said to the man with a smile as he walked out of the office. She really should see what had happened to her division heads. Why hadn't Iain showed up, and she really must talk to Iridesca about her meeting. She should offer up the conference room for it. Rolling the note back up, she put it back in the bottle and went and placed the bottle on the corner of one of the bookshelves, it really would look nice there.

Jacob smiled at Lili when she opened the door, looking past her to the crowded office. Well, she was certainly having a busy first day.

Jacob slipped over to the couch, where another man waited. A new employee maybe? Not wanting to add more noise to the room, he refrained from saying hello. Jacob settled back into the couch, realising he had forgotten his tea. That was highly unfortunate.

Jacob was sitting peacefully, looking around the new office - it was certainly different from Evaline's time here - when he heard his name. Surprised, he just barely caught what Lili had said. A little nervous - he was sure there was plenty to improve upon in his Division - Jacob really really wished he had remembered his Earl Grey.

"Jacob?" Lili asked, after Jenkins had also left her office. She looked over at him, and said, "why don't you join me over here?" She paused for a few minutes, thinking about the Luau that had been planned, and how she really should be heading over there. She'd make this quick, and then head right on over.

"I really don't have much to tell you really, Jacob. I just wanted to make one slight change, I'm going to be asking yourself, Iain and Iridesca for updates on how things are working out in your division," she said, but after she thought about it she thought no...that sounded...to formal. "Just over coffee or something similiar," she added, "just to catch up with everyone."


"I really hope that that is okay with you," she said, "but I really have to get going, the new division head, Iridesca, has planned a luau, and I said it could be in the conference room. I'm just getting ready to head on over. Can you let your employees know if they do not already?" She asked. "You should come as well," she said with a smile as she put the important papers on her desk in a drawer and locked it. "I'm sorry to cut this short," she said with an apologetic smile, "but I'm heading over there now, join me?" she finished, as she walked out the door closing it as soon as they were both out of her office. She locked the door, and used her wand to place a note on the door;

In the conference room, I'll be happy to talk to you there.

Jacob walked over to Lili's desk when beckoned and listened to what she had to say. He relaxed a bit. Nothing negative at all.

“Coffee updates,” Jacob repeated. “Sounds good.” In his mind, Jacob planned to be sure and bring his own tea to said “coffee” meetings.

When Lili mentioned the Luau, Jacob nearly groaned. He’d forgotten about that…he looked at his work clothes, generic and definitely not Luau appropriate. “I sent them all memos, but I can never be sure how many of them got the messages,” he replied. “I’ll head over myself after I take care of a few things in my office, and I’ll remind them again.”

“Don’t worry about ‘cutting it short,’” Jacob replied in a friendly voice. He watched Lili close the door, then he placed a hand on her shoulder. “Listen. You’re doing a fantastic job so far, and I know you’ll continue to do so. Never let any of it stress you out too much, because then you wouldn’t be you.”

“See you at the Luau!” Jacob called over his shoulder with a smile as he returned to British Seats.

Lili made her way back to her office. The Luau had been fun, but she really wanted to get some things done. When she reached her door, she took the sign off that she had added, opened the door, and made her way back into her office.

Sitting down at her desk she smiled to herself. That had gone well she though, and I even got a chance to dance with Iain, however briefly.

Helena made her way to Mrs. Heyman's Office nervously and knocked on the door. She then brushed out a few creases in her skirt and waited for the door to be opened.

Only moments after she had gotten back to her office there was a knock on the door. Calling out, "come in" she waited for the door to be opened. She wondered who it could be.

Helena opened the door as she head the woman call out, and entered the room as confidently as she could even though she was far too nervous on the inside. Walking in, she smiled at The lady, who she realised must be Mrs. Heyman, "Good Afternoon, I'm Helena Beaumont. I recieved your Owl a couple of days ago informing me that my Job Application had been accepted." she said, closing the door behind her.

Lili smiled at the women, she remembered sending the memo out, and was glad that she had arrived so soon. "Yes, Helena, thanks for coming in so soon, I'm Liliana Hayman, I'm the department head here. It's nice to meet you," she said kindly. "I'd just like to welcome you to the ministry in person, and let you know which division you will be working in." She paised for a minute, formulating what she needed to say in her head. "So you will be working under Jacob Webster, who is the head of our British Seats division. It's just down the hall. Just keep going until you see a sign on the door that says British Seats," she said, double checking in her mind that she had gone over everything. "Do you have any questions at all?" She asked the women.

Helena Listened to Liliana, "Yes, It's nice to meet you likewise," she said smiling slightly, Jacob Webster, British Seats Division she retraced everything in her head so she wouldn't forget anything. "okay, that's brilliant." she said, questions? she hadn't really thought of any... she couldn't think of anything she might need to ask. "No, I've no questions right now, Though if any ever arise, should I come to you, Or Jacob Webster?" she said. that was a question... she thought.

"Feel free to come and see me, if you'd like, but you should ask Mr. Webster any questions first," she told her. She wanted her to go to her head first, before she came to me, "But, if you'd ever like to stop by, feel free." She hoped the woman would fit in well. "Don't forget to file your information in my file cabinet before you leave," she said, pointing to the filing cabinet in the corner.

"Okay, thank you." Helena said as she listened. Helena looked over to the filing cabinate and remembered that she had her information in her bag, "oh yes, Of course!" she said as she took the information out and filed it in the apropriate section before bidding Liliana Good day and leaving.

Jenkins knocked on the department heads door excitedly, he had brought her icecream, since she rarely seemed to get off of level 5 much. He had also bought some for himself and maybe Abilee if she was around, which she usually was. He waited for the door to open.

Just as Helena had left and the door closed behind her there was another knock on the door. She went to the door and opened it up slowly, wondering who it could be now. Only she was surprised at who she saw standing on the other side of the door. With a smile she welcomed him into her office. "Why don't you come in and sit down Jenkins," she said with a smile. She wondered what could of brought him to her office.

"Sure," said Jenkins happily, sitting down, "Ummm... well don't take this the wrong way....but I've noticed you don't get out much, you basically stay on level 5, scince I've been here anyways. So I brought you some ice cream from Diagon Alley, and the nice lady behind the counter even charmed it so it wouldn't melt all over me while I was geting here. So...here."

He handed her the ice cream, "But worry not, I am going to get right back to work," he said, putting his hands up in the universal sign for innocence. He stood to leave.

Wow, he brought her ice cream, that was nice. He was wrong about her not being out of the office though. Only last night she'd gone to the party for the Cooper Campaign. "Thanks Jenkins, that was very nice of you," she said, taking the ice cream from him.

As he got up to leave she stopped him briefly. "You don't have to leave yet if you don't want to," she said, inviting him to stay for a couple minutes if he wanted to, she could take a break.

"Ummm...ok," said Jenkins sitting back down. He hoped this wasn't going to be to awkward.

A little shocked that he did say she went and sat down on one of the couches instead. "So did you enjoy the Luau," she asked casually. What else was she supposed to talk about? As she sat there, her mind went over everything that she was working on right now. She needed to go up to the first floor sometime today. And she'd like to be able to meet some of the other Department Heads that she hadn't met yet.
