Edward listened carefully as Shelly made her point of view known. She made a lot of sense and he nodded in agreement. Certainly, this group didn't seem to be very knowledgable about the ins and outs of broom charms and devices and it would seem that it would be necessary to restrict all but the basics, or bring in an expert. As he listened, he felt something bump his leg and it caused him to jump a little. He looked under the table to see Shelly's foot bouncing and he smiled as he resettled into his seat.

After she had made her comments, he looked to Iridesca and said again, "I do also think it would be a wise thing to bring in someone who knows more about the brooms themselves. Is there anyone in the gaming department who deals with these issues?"

Iridesca was especially relieved that Krel and Edward were thinking along the same lines as her, "Well, I have to agree with both of you....I guess that's why I was encouraged to contact the Patents Office since they were in charge of the last set of standards for designing brooms, but I haven't heard much back from then since my first initial meeting." she paused and took another sip of her tea. "I guess we may need to contact a sports expert...any ideas on which department we should contact or do any of you know anyone that would know something about brooms...I have to admit that I'm clueless too." she was just sooo relieved to hear them voicing the same concerns she had with their tasks....it made her feel not soout of the look of everything...she wasn't a big Quidditch fanatic.

“I might be able to get a hold of someone,” Krel said racking her brain for a few people. She might not know that much about quidditch, but she certainly had a few friends in the quidditch field. “When we’re done here, let me sent out a few owls and see what leads I can get us. Unless,” She turned to look at Edward and then looked back at Iridesca. “Yes, let me make a few owls…”

ooc. you can carry on with this plot if you want, or just decide on what it is that you came to, the QWC will be open for awhile before the match so you do not have to go immediately, but I just wanted to thank you all, I know this has been confusing at times.

Edward nodded thoughtfully at the comments made by both Iridesca and Krel. He smiled as she glanced in his direction, but then she turned back to Iridesca.

"I have a friend who might be able to help as well." He didn't feel like he could offer much, but he hoped to be worth something in this division. He twiddled his thumbs nervously, not sure what to do next, but that was the way it happened when you were the 'new guy'.

Iridesca was very excited that both Edward and Krel thought they knew someone that would be an expert on the brooms and regulations and extra stuff that could hinder the fairness of the competition. She smiled feeling like they were making a little bit of progress.

"Then let's break and give you both time to get in touch with your contacts and see what they say. Then we can plan to meet back here. Hopefully they won't give us any other crazy tasks between now and then. But we must be quick since the World Cup is fastly approaching." she said with a smile and glanced at her notes as she let out a sigh...it wasn't a sigh of relief but more a sigh of what were they thinking giving us a task that none of us are familiar with....

Krel finished up her cup of tea and placed the glass back on the tray. She started to reach for Edwards, but noticed that it still had some tea left. She decided she'd just collect the cup later. "Very well. I'll," She paused gathering her thoughts. "I'll sent out an owl promptly and get back to you as soon as I can." She closed up her leather portfolio and tucked her eagle quill away safely inside it before standing up. "Let me know if I can do anything else in the meantime Iridesca."

Dawson stark walked into the offices that he would now call his place of work. He was thrilled about his new job. Now to get on with it. He walked in looking around taking it all in. His eyes scanned looking for the woman that he was supposed to report to. He saw a few people congregated together and walked over to them. "Excuse me," He said to them with a smile. "I'm looking for a Ms. McMillan" He told them. "Do you mind pointing me in her direction?"

Quidditch World Cup!

Diana was drinking a large cup of coffee when all the chatter about the broom security started with Iridesca. In a time, Di used to know a person who worked in Broom Regulation: Jonathan. But...he left. Sigh.

A man had walked into the office and asked for Iridesca. "It's the office at the end of this corridor, sir..." Di answered immediately, offering a wide smile. He looked like he was going to be the new person assigned to the Division. "And welcome to the Department of Magical Office of Law."

Of course she was happy. Annie would be her company at the Quidditch World Cup. And she might be around to help a bit. At least while she was not looking after Anna. Uff..she was a mess, that kid.

Iridesca smiled as Krel and Edward walked away with their tasks. She very excited to have such an ambitious new person in the division. She began packing up her things when she heard another division employee greet a newby. She stood up and headed towards the door.

"I guess that means you are looking for me." Iridesca said with a smile and flick of her hair to get it out of her face...she extended her hand and sweetly said, "Hello, I'm Iridesca McMillan. You can call me Iridesca or Iri, don't bother with the Ms. stuff." she said with a wink. "Why don't you follow me to my office and we can get you started and introduced to the division." she finished as she headed towards her door.

Stark turned as he heard someone speaking to him. His eyes followed the direction in which she was telling him where the Division Head's office was. He turned back to the young woman who had assited him. "Thank you so much" He said to her with a smile.

Just as he was about to introduce himself to her he heard another voice. "Its nice to meet you, I'm Dawson Stark" He said to her with a nod of his and then followed her to her office. She definately seemed better than his old boss at the Italian ministry. Lets just say that man was not a happy camper. He had a feeling that he would like it here.

Iridesca smiled at the newcomer and motioned for him to have a seat as they entered her office. She took a seat behind her desk and pulled out a recent file detailing the new arrival to her office. "Well, it is great to meet you, Dawson! I've looked through your file a little bit, but could you tell me a little bit about yourself and your past experiences at the Ministry?" she said with a smile as she grabbed a blue quill to keep notes. She always liked to get to know her new employees. She had made this a personal goal after her stint in the Creatures division where no one really cared about the employees much.

Dawson took a seat inside of Iridesca's office. It was definately a nice place, that was for sure. He gave her a smile as she asked him to tell her more about himself.

"Well I graduated as a Gryffindor from Hogwarts. Then I went to work at the Italian Ministry. I worked the international department for them, but frankly I missed England." He told her. "So i decided to come back home and work for you." He concluded. "I guarantee you though, that I will be the hardest worker that you have, and anything that is needed to be done you will recieve two-hundred percent from me ma'am" He wanted to make sure that that but of information was out there.

Iridesca sat with a smile as Dawson introduced himself. "Well, that's exciting that you had an opportunity to work for the Italian Ministry. Before coming to the ministry, I worked for Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes as their international sales manager and event planner, so I had the opportunity to travel to Italy once. Very pretty place." she said wtih a smile trying to go through her mental pictures of the area but then quickly focused back in on Dawson's handsome face.

"Well, I am very excited to have you in the division. Our division is pretty laid back and small. We currently have five (active) employees. I beleive you met Diana as you came in..." she said motioning towards Diana....she took a sip of the muggle soda on her desk and then continued, "I have to admit that our division can sometimes be slow, but when we do get an interesting assignment we all jump on it."

She paused and realized that she had skipped a very important question, "Well, do you have any questions or concerns or anything you want to know before I go on?"

"Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, eh?" He said with a smile. "Does that mean that you are the prankster of the office?" He questioned hoping that he wasn't stepping out of line by asking that. "Well I am very excited to be working in your division" He told her. "I have no doubt that this is an excellent division to work in"

He thought about it for a second as she asked if he had any questions. He honestly could not think of one. "No ma'am" He said to her with a smile.

Iridesca smiled at the new kid on the block...she could tell he was going to be a handful, but a good one...she liked his spunk already.

She smiled at his question, "Well, I'm still kind of new at my position so I won't be throwing any pranks out quite yet, but I do like to organize get togethers for everyone that we can have fun at...I mean all work and no play is not good for business." she said with a wink. "I am going to admit that working at WWW was an adventure and I really enjoyed planning things for them...always a blast and laugh to be found."

She shut the file in front of her and glanced at the clock on the wall. "Well, I'm very excited to have you in the division. We've been needing someone else with some personality and spark and I have a feeling that you are just that person." she finished trying not to blush as she made eye contact with the newbie.

She quickly stood up, "Well, since you have no questions..." she said as she motioned towards the door, "Would you like a tour of the place and the floor and such or do you want to get settled in?"

Dawson grinned as Iridesca said that she didn't believe in all work no play. "I completely agree" He said to her with a nod of his head.

He noticed a slight shade of pink in her cheeks as she said that he was the right person for the job. "Well I hope not to prove you wrong" He told her. "And as I said, I am thrilled to be working in this department. It seems as I chose the right one" He said to her with a slight smile.

Dawson had noticed her glance up at the clock before. "Well a tour would be lovely, but there is work to be done, so if you had somewhere else to be... I have no doubt that I will be able to figure out my way around" He said to her with a charming smile.

Tea Time! The golden clock on the corner of Krel’s desk half hidden behind a pile of papers chimed softly indicating to her that it was time for a fresh pot of tea and a small snack. Normally, had Krel been at home, the small snack would have been a small assortment of finger sandwiches (preferably cucumber sandwiches) but as this was work, she had to settle for a few biscuits and some scones.

She pulled her maroon, black, and white teapot closer to her. She lifted the lid, noticed the water was gone and then dumped out the previously used leaves into the trash. A spritz and a few teaball of leaves later, Krel was busy tapping the edge of the pot with her wand in order to refill it. Soon, the soft aroma of grape and cinnamon filled the air and Krel had a small selection of her sweets arranged on a plate that matched her teacup and teapot.

She pored herself a small cup and leaned back in her chair closing her eyes and enjoying the aroma of her special blended coffee. There was nothing like the tea that her good friend Onithn Udy grew in his vineyard. Something about the tea plants growing side-by-side with the grapes gave it a particularly unique flavor. She sound found herself wandering up and down the vineyards’ rows, enjoying the sun and the soft southern wind blowing at her hair…

She sighed softly after taking a small sip and opened her eyes. She had hoped that her work would disappear in her daydreams, but alas it hadn’t. She picked up a biscuit and took a small bite.

Edward stared at the work on his desk. Security certainly had involved less paperwork. He was still unsure of where he needed to start so he walked over to Krel's desk to see if she could help.

Walking up, he smelled her distinctive tea and smiled. "Krel, can you help me?"

Iridesca hurried into the office and through the cubicles. She had just recieved some information that was very important that she had to share with the department head...it was just a rumor, but it was still something Lili had to know about...this was def an international matter....

“Shh!” Krel held up one finger indicating to Edward that he was interrupting her down/quiet time. She took another sip of tea and then opened one eye hoping, just hoping he might have disappeared so she continue her tea-break. Alas, Edward was simply smiling that crooked sheepish smile of his that indicated he was willing to wait around forever for her to respond to him.

She sighed and slipped her dragon-hide heels back on as she straightened up in her chair. “What did you need help wi-“

But then Satine came hurrying by. “Where’s the fire-breathing dragon Satine?” She inquired as she set her teacup down upon its saucer. Looked like Satine was in a hurry and Krel wondered what the problem was.

Edward grinned quietly as she took her time and held up a finger to indicate she was not able to help hom at this moment. She took a sip of her tea and closed her eyes. He'd not seen her do this, but alas, he was in no hurry.

He noticed when she opened only one eye and quickly closed it before sighing. He figured she wasn't too thrilled with this interruption of her day. And just as she began to ask him what was needed, Satine came whisking by and Krel inquired about it. "Should we follow her?" he asked.

Alright. Papers needed to be organized, again. Diana was such in the mood of being more settled this time, she needed to be after all that break she took earlier. At last, she was having some peace time, although the little ocurrance of her cousin to finally come to England and study magic at Hogwarts. That surely had brought Diana some weird encounters, and odd days to be remembered ever since the day she delayed on picking up Annie from Diagon Alley. Gulp. She knew the girl had a temper, and Diana had reached into it.

As reading the worrying note of Annie, that her journal, the most prized possession of the girl had disappeared, Diana didn't doubt of sending the other note attached to it right inside her purse, to later send it through muggle mail service to Emiliano, all the way to America. She quickly replied to her cousin, then went back to work.

She took care of all the apers to be filled out,then stacked them into the finished work drawer, to later put it into matter organization. She took a sip of her latte coffee cup. Ah, the sweetness of having a job. It always kept you off your personal problems. And speaking of work, there was something new...as she could recall after watching Iri walking along the cubicles up to the Lili's office. What could it be this time???

Pandora walked into the International Magical Law Office to be greeted by an expanse of grey cubicles. Well, that will never do. How are people supposed to communicate?

"Hello?" She called. "Is anyone here?" She walked to the small office at the end of the larger office and put her bag on the table. She unzipped it, taking out some quills and ink and a framed photograph of her husband and his cat that she had snapped in his flat before they were married. There was no chance of the cat getting up on the dining room table in her house. Goodness no.

She stowed her bag away and walked into the division office. It seemed deserted. Where was everyone?

In Time! Woohoo!!

Diana was having a bit of a hard time coming to work in the mornings. It looked like someone from the other side of the world wanted to know about a lot this side. Emiliano sure missed the life, but DAA, the boy had chosen to go study in America instead of risking himself in Oxford University.

The night before, she had recieved a notice from the Ministry, telling they'd be having a new Division Head. This made Diana wonder on what happened to Iridesca. Hmm... So, she guessed that today she'd be meeting her new boss.

And what a surprise, she was already there. Walking towards her boss's office-cubicle, her bright smile showed. She hoped that they could have a littl more action this time. "Hello, Mrs. Cavanaugh..." She greeted and offered her hand for a shake. "My name is Diana, Diana Saenz...it's very nice to meet you..." Di introduced, not really knowing what to say next.
