Katie heard a man talking outside her office."If you would excuse me, just talk amongst each other."Walking to her door, walking out, closing it behind her so the girls had privacy she walked up to the man,"I am Katie Witt, head of this division, may I assist you?"Katie said a smile laying on her lips.

Tom smiled at Katie, "Hello Katie, how are you?" He asked kindly. "My name is Tom and I have heard rumours about a black market on floo powder and thought we could work on it together." He said getting to the point. (Most unlike himself.) "Your division will be brought into it sooner or later so, may as well start in it" He said not sure if what he said really made any sense. He leaned against the wall casually brushing his hair out of his brown eyes. "What do you say?" He asked smiling.

Letting her finger tap on her leg Katie nodded,"Well everything would be started eventually so why not now?"She smiled lightly,"Tom, My office is kind of in use at the moment, I am having two young ladies work on assignments so, the space is needed at this time, but if you would like to work on it somewhere else, I'd be willing."She said glancing at her door.

Tom straightened up brushing his hair out of his eyes once more - he needed a haircut. "No problem, we can head up to my office, just upstairs if you like" He said scratching his head. "We can go up now, anything that might be helpful bring it with you." He said nodding his head. Waiting for Katie to return they walked up together. "So how long have you been working here?" He asked interestedly.

Katie smiled,"Uh, not to long really, just started recently."She said shrugging. Katie followed him up to his office. Law kept you on your toes no doubt. Pushing her blonde hair off her shoulder and leave it to rest on her back she strode out of the Law division.

Tom walked into the lift after Katie and said clearly, "Level six". He bgean humming to himself lost in his own thoughts again. Once the golden grilles opened they both stepped out. "Just in this door here" He said allowing her to walk before him. They sat down at his desk while Tom searched for a bit of paper.

"Well, I'll leave it up to you. I'd hate myself if you felt obligated in anyway. Pick the one you want." Delaney pressed, even though she was secretly hoping she wouldn't get stuck with the Smalls case. She just didn't believe she was expeiranced enough to handle a case of the difficulty. She smiled at Susanna.

Susanna frowned, thinking for a minute as she studied Delaney, though she hoped she didn't look crazy. She bit her lip, trying to decide, knowing that they were both on similar levels of ability when it came to these cases. She glanced down at them briefly again. She knew that the other woman didn't have much experience, so would probably prefer to take the easier case and build her way up - one simple letter to her father would give her a little of the knowledge she'd need.

She looked back up at Delaney. 'I don't mind, but I think you'd prefer the Larsons case, wouldn't you?' she asked, though she didn't need an answer. 'Take it; I'll take the Smalls case. Only if you don't want it,' she hastily added, not wanting to seem greedy, as if she was trying to make herself look good.

The band of house elves, now numbering more than a dozen, arrived in the office of the international magical office of law, squeaking and chatting excitedly amongst themselves. One was using magic to transport an apparently petrified teenaged girl, while two others were holding the hands of two other children, who were in tears and seemed quite upset.

"We is doing more mischiefing in here! " Bailey squeaked happily. "Bailey is making them sorry they is not giving house elfs respecting!" He waved his hand and started a storm of office supplies. Filing cabinets opened up and regurgitated their contents; quills went flying like darts, sticking into walls. Inkwells exploded, spraying their contents like small fountains on desks in the cubicles. Wastebaskets levitated to the ceiling, then overturned and spilled their ingredients out, dropping wadded up bits of paper like snow onto the floor.

On the wall, Tubby added her own touch, a bit of magical graffiti. It read:

Another house elf, determined to be a part of the glorious rebellion, waved his hand. Down the hall, it began to snow, turning the corridors and cubicles into a winter wonderland.

The other house elves looked at each other, giggling and well pleased with the mischief that was being caused.

Rico burst into the Law offices, having rushed over when he saw it was snowing. He almost tripped on a snowbank that reached the door, but he quickly caught his balance and shook his head to free the iceicles that were forming on his hair. It wasn't hard to find the source of the commotion either, as the instant he opened the door he spotted a huge, red splotch of color on the walls.

"HEY! What in Merlin's name is going on here?!" Rico shouted, stumbling into the center of the room. His dark eyes widened, however, when he realized the mischief-makers were a crazy band of rogue house-elves.

Standing in front of the group with his wand out, Rico's dark eyes roamed over the elves, noting that the group was rather large and they had child hostages too. But what were the employees of this division doing? Maybe they were in the back office?

"Uh...uh.....STUPEFY!" Enrico shouted, pointing his wand at the closest elf, the one who was just putting the finishing touches on a batch of red graffiti. "Somebody call Security!" he shouted, shooting a stunner at another elf and hoping that other employees would hear him.

"Tubby is looking out!" cried Bailey as a wizard shot a stunner at her as she happily completed her graffiti. But it was too late. The wizard's spell hit her directly, and she collapsed to the floor, stunned. A second stunner was sent toward the elves, but luckily Wiley dodged it.

"Come! We is finding Sparky now!" Bailey shouted at the others. He snapped his fingers, sending a blast of hot wind at the wizards with the intention of knocking them down. Oh, Bailey is attacking bad wizards! Attacking is being much more serious than mischiefing.... He resisted the urge to abuse himself; the time for the old ways was done. They had to take action, and be brave if they wanted freedoms.

"We must be finding Sparky! Sparky is leading us and knowing what we is should do!" He snapped his fingers again, disapparating with the other house elves, including the kidnapped muggle children.

ooc: and down to four! Showdown!

Emmett and Annabelle stared, utterly appalled, as there was a bit of a fight between the man and the elves. However, before they could do anything much, they were whisked off to the next room. Good grief!

Rico dived to the ground the instant he saw an elf snap its fingers, but he was a moment too late. The very top of his spiked hair got a blast of hot air and sizzled. "YOUCH!" Rico said, sitting up and rubbing his head.

As he was picking himself up off the ground, he heard a sharp CRACK! and then the elves were gone. Just like that, it stopped snowing and they had disappeared. "Holy cannoli, what was that all about?" Rico asked aloud, shaking his head and marching through the snow. As he made his way to the door, he just about tripped over something hard....

"What the --" Enrico stuttered angrily, hopping on one foot. He regained his balanced and then kneeled down to see what had tripped him up. It was that elf! The graffiti artist he'd stupefied!

"I'm taking you down to level four, where you belong," Rico muttered to himself. He swished his wand and levitated the house-elf in front of him. On to the lifts.

Following what clearly had been a mess made by the rebellious House elves, Constanza entered the Magical Office of Law. Apparently, someone had got there first. It was that man from back on Evaline's office the other day; He was not alone, though. He was was carrying one of the house elves.

"What happened to this one?" Murdoch asked, eyeing the creature. The answer was quite obvious, though; The elf seemed have been petrified.

Rico was on his way out when a woman stopped him, that woman....Murdoch, wasn't that her name? Apparently she had heard the ruckus from her office.

"Oh um...." Rico drawled. Well, it's obvious isn't it? No point in avoiding the truth. "I came in and there was a band of elves destroying the office....this one was graffiting the walls, so I stupefied her." He shrugged, not knowing what else to say. "And then they all disappeared. I was on my way to level four, actually, to take this elf to the Magical Creatures Department....." Rico raised an eyebrow, waiting for the woman to either unblock the doorway or say something.

Upon hearing a commotion in the main office, Susanna started and looked up, before glancing back at Delaney, somewhat confused before she stood up and pulled open the door. She was somewhat amazed to see what the house elves - who she'd seen momentarily before they'd disappeared - had left the employees.

Sighing, she left the office, pulling out her wand before she spotted two others, one of whom was levitating a stunned house elf. Approaching them, she frowned.

'What happened?' she asked, having not paid much attention to anything whilst in the office.

Rico felt like sighing as yet another clueless employee popped up and started asking questions.

"A bunch of house-elves are apparently rebelling and they attacked your office," he said dully to the woman. "This elf got....er....left behind by the other ones, so I'm taking her down to level four."

He nodded briskly and set off for the door again before turning around and addressing the women. "Hey, do either of you know whether Ministry Security is on this? I have this feeling our offices aren't the first place they've attacked in the Ministry..."

Susanna took in the sight of the elf that had been left, sighing softly. 'D'you want a hand?' she asked, feeling she should help somehow - after all, she worked in this division, and she didn't recognise the other two.

She shook her head at his next question. 'I've no idea, sorry,' she said, glancing at the mess the elves had made. It was the graffiti that worried her the most, rather than the mess.

Typical. Katie steps out for a while and this happens. Susanna - though she felt sorry for the elves, having felt the need to go this far - couldn't stop a few thoughts that she didn't care to voice go through her mind. Shaking them away almost instantly, she glanced back at the house elf. Security and Level Four would probably have to be involved now. As to any others, Susie had no idea.

Rico paused on his way out, considering the woman's offer. "You know what, you could come with me to level four....." He smiled gently, thinking that perhaps he was being too harsh on the elves. Perhaps stunning one wasn't the best way to deal with a rebellion.

"I'm Rico, by the way," he added, still levitating the elf. "Head of the Trading Standards division."

Murdoch's eyes scanned the place; There was a graffiti in the wall! Apparently they were asking for some rights. She shook her head

"The same thing happened in my division" Constanza said, still looking at the graffiti with clear dissaproval "Except that they set up fireworks there, instead of the graffiti" Her spotless and clean, and organized division was now a complete and absolute mess. All thanks to those house elves "What concerns me the most are the kids that were with the,, though.." Poor little children. It wasn't their fault that the elves were not happy with the wizards.

"Do you need any help?" She asked, as her eyes landed on the stunned elf that he was carrying.

Rico turned to the other woman......she was a division head, right? "Sure, let's all go to level four, why not...."

Honestly, all this talk and no action was getting on his nerves. And he couldn't help it if he sounded sarcastic.

"I'm going down, ladies. Come if you want. If you think this division is a mess....well....just imagine the havoc on the next floor."

And with that, Rico was gone.

Susanna barely had time to let her eyes scan the room once again before the man who'd introduced himself as Rico left. She glanced at the other woman, half-smiling, before pulling a piece of parchment from her nearby desk and quickly scribbling a note.

Quickly folding it up, she attached it to the wall next to Katie's office before nodding at the other woman. 'You coming?' she asked, before making her way after Rico.

Richard appeared in the international magical office of law sensing the presence of different magic. He walked past several desks and saw two house elves huddled against the wall taking deep breaths. He walked round the side and they spotted him, they frowned deeply. The air around them crackled.
"Now listen" Richard said calmly as he approached them "whatever the reason is behind this you dont need to involve the kids. Just give them back, talk it over with us and we can sort this out- ok", he suddenly stopped as they were getting agitated at his approaching. "I'll stay here then. You must have a decent reason behind this."
"Reason? You want to know the reason?" said one of the elves with bushy eyebrows.
"yes, why?" Richard replied
"Well, we are doing this because you is . . ." the elf stopped in mid-sentence and gasped as he spotted Richard take another step forward.
"NO WAIT, I'M NOT GOING TO HURT. . ." Richard began before "AHHH, NO!" as the elves disappeared in a puff of smoke. He left the room at a run.

Being sidetracked hadn't helped Susanna get down to the fourth floor, and she'd lost her sense of direction, so she decided to return to the office. Pulling down the note, she slipped it into her pocket and poked her head into Katie's office.

'D'you think you could help clean up the office?' she asked Delaney, before ducking back out and making her way to the graffiti, pulling out her wand. She hoped a simple scouring charm would work for this - and then the strewn contents of the filing cabinets needed to be sorted.

Muttering a quick spell, she began to chisel off the graffiti.

The office was all cleaned up now and Katherine sighed. The Floo powder market case wasn't go on lately. Doing the only thing that came to mind she announced out,"Lizzeth...could I see you in my office?"She said plainly walking back into her office.
