Delaney looked up at this unknown man with confusion visable in her face. "Peanuts?" She asked, with an arched eyebrow. "What do you need peanuts for?"

Chad turned his head to look at the woman he had bugged earlier, and he smiled and then twiddled his thumbs. "Quoi? I like peanuts...Ce n'est pas un crime..." He pouted a little and eyed her look.

"Don't give me that look. You know you'd be hunting for something when you really really want it," he winked and smiled. "Especially if that something est tres addictive, if you know what I mean." He teetered on his heels, looking back and forth from both women, smiling.

"Whatever floats your boat," Delany added with a smile. But why peanuts? She thought to herself, peanuts aren't very good.
"I guess, if I was addicted to.. well, something like peanuts, I'd would hunt them down." She added, even though she didn't believe it.

Katherine raised her eyebrowns."Lets just hope so..."She said walking back to her office, she hated peanuts but she had a bag of them from her friend who sent it to her as a joke,"Finally I can get rid of these things..."She said as the smell reached her nose she frowned, who could like nuts?"Here...take then please!"Katie smiled giving him the bag. She loved electric people. It made everything much more fun.

"My boat floats rather well on it's own, merci," he smiled, he didn't even own a boat, but he wasn't going to let her know that. He just kept on smiling and listened to the woman who kept talking. "See Mademoiselle!! C'est exactement my point!" He paused in his teetering, as the other woman was walking away.

Merci beaucoup Mademoiselle!!" He took the bag of peanuts from her and gave her a hug. His day was made.

In his new found happiness, he was completely missing the introducing part. It was nice and all to know that somebody was apart of your department, mais, it was much better to know their names. For some reason, saying "hey you. No not you, the other you! The you to the left of you, yeah, you!" never ever really worked out for Chad.

"My name is Chad...Chad Stryker. And you are?" he extended out a hand for each of the women to shake.

Lizeth was sitting at her desk listening to an interesting conversation about peanuts when an idea struck her about the cauldrons. She pulled out a piece of parchment and wrote:

By setting a standard thickness for all cauldrons, we can prevent these leaks, yet how do we get all cauldron manufacturers to agree on a thickness? There is no way. But, we can find a thickness we know is effective and post that on the wall or window of every cauldron shop. The companies would be required to post the thicknes of their cauldron on the cauldron somewhere. Therefore, people would have the standard where they could see it and be able to make the choice for themselves as to whether or not they will buy cauldrons that may not work how they want them too.

She put her quill down and walked out of her cubicle toward Katherines office. She stopped when she saw a strange man standing there. She was still rather shy, but she moved the parchment into her left hand and stuck out her right hand as if to shake his. "Hello, I'm Lizeth McNeil, and you are?.." She hoped he didn't give her the look she had recieved from everybody outside her department, that showed he thought her too young for her job.

"Your division head was tres nice and she provided me with some," he smiled and looked around at all three ladies.

Lizeth smiled. "I thought I was the only one around here that liked peanuts." She had a stash of them on her desk. It was common knowledge that Katherine was not a fan. Lizeth liked them because when she was stuck in a jam it was nice to have something to munch on to get her thoughts in motion.

She turned to Katherine and handed her the parchment that was in her left hand. "Umm.. I had an idea." She turned bright pink. Normally she just went with the flow, but she was trying to be helpful. She hoped it didn't sound stupid.

Walking back out to every one Katie watched what was going on or lack-there-of.

Lizeth grinned. "Is it always so... quiet in this division?" She was surprised at the lack of well anything going on. She knew that in other departments people ran around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Chad gasped loudly. "Mademoiselle! You aime les peanuts!? Seriously!?" He was teetering on the balls of his feet again with happiness. "I agree, peanuts are good to much on when having writer's block on a report." He nodded and smiled and then finally shut up long enough for the two ladies to discuss business.

Chad couldn't help but hear the part about it being quiet in the department, and frankly, he had to agree. It was so quiet and he was certain that it was because were trying to make a living and doing their job, but what was so wrong with a little fun?

"We could turn on some musique and do some dancing," Chad suggested, with a sly smile on his face. "Like this," he lightly took Katie's hands and did a little dance and then twirled her. He laughed softly and shrugged, "Non? I guess you all would be too busy making les laws and what not. Mais, still, tu es une excellente dancer, mademoiselle."

Lizeth laughed. "Yes. We should have some fun. But we do also have to at least look like we're being productive, you never know when someone will walk in to talk to one of us." She looked around. There wasn't really anything she still needed to get done, except perhaps write a letter to her cousin Jezz that was still at Hogwarts.

Really she was never a good dancer but she classified herself as and okay dancer really. Katherine watched the little paper airplane fly in, reading quickly and smiled."I'd better get going!"She said grabbing her things and rushing out. Stopping she placed a note on her door.

Her stomach knotting as she entered the department, Susanna tugged on a few stray strands of hair. Her dark blue eyes looked around her as she made her way through the cubicles until she found her own. Carefully putting her bag down on the desk, she took a seat and looked around her at the walls.

Shaking her head, she fumbled in her bag until she found her wand. Muttering a quick spell, the walls became a pale blue colour and she smiled. 'That's better,' she muttered as she looked around her once again.

Lizeth sat at her desk with nothing to do. There wasn't ever any work to get done besides paperwork, and she had finished hers. She decided to write a letter to her little cousin Jezz at Hogwarts. Pulling out a piece of parchment, she wrote:

Hope life at Hogwarts is still great. I miss the grounds and the professors. Working at the Ministry is fun, there isn't a whole lot of work in my department and the people are nice. Tell everyone I say hello.

Then she folded up the letter and put it into her bag to send later. She layed her head in her arms on her desk and drifted to sleep.

Noticing somebody send a letter, Susanna looked up and smiled wryly as the woman began to sleep. Surpressing a small smile, she smoothed down her skirt and leant across, hoping she wasn't too asleep yet.

'Excuse me? I'm new here, and I just want to know . . . is it always this quiet?' she asked, considering it had been rather quiet since she'd arrived, and probably sometime before as well.

Katie strode back into the department and pointed her wand at her door, the note disappearing in thin air. Opening the door, pushing the shades aside so the sunlight lit the room perfectly. Her door was closed with a 'Please Knock' Sign stuck to it. Katherine took a relazing seat behind her desk.
