I believe we have some things common in this department. It's one of the things I dislike about myself so much, not having self confidence in what I do or write. It's my tragic downfall, so to speak... The entire experience of writing a ff and having readers has made me have more confidence in my writing, especially every time someone says "pams," because they want more, so it must mean I'm doing something right. Just remember that we comment for a reason and we say "pams" at the end for a reason. Your writing is amazing, never forget that.

I totally agree with you, my writing ablities and confidence have come on leaps and bounds since I started an FF. I love that people actually spend time to read and comment and even bother to put smilies. I will start doing that more often I think, I like it! Anyway, thankyou very much for boosting me a bit. OK. So, as I have previously said, it is Victoire's love story. Part 1 has ended and now it is part 2, Married Life.

Alot has happened since the 25th of December.

I finally invested in a mobile phone. I found it tricky at first but I was taught by great people. Amelie got one, Ron and Hermione have one and James has one for when he isn't at Hogwarts. I can just press a little green button to call people. I haven't texted yet but I am getting there.

Ginny and Hermione are insisting that I have a baby shower but I am not sure. Don't want a fuss, not much of an attention seeker you see. They want just a wee one but me, none at all. I bet they will throw me a surprise one, I will pretend I am ill or something. I am not going, they can't make me!

No progress has been made on the baby room yet. Mainly bacause there isn't an extra room in the flat. Just a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge. Tinyness. Our room is big enough for now but soon we will have to start house hunting.

The weather hasn't improved this January at all. Still wet, wet snow. Slippy ice just fills the streets. It is torture. The Prophet has been full of accidents and how 'angry the Healers of St. Mungo's are for Merlin's weather decisions.' Load of rubbish. Not good for heavily pregnant ladies who fall without ice. ME I MEAN!!

FEBRUARY
February came with a fuss. By fuss, I mean loads of wind. Gale force winds.

February came with no letters from Ted. None at all. But you know what mail I did get? A text from a number that wasn't in my contacts. It wasn't until the end of the text that I realised who it was.


I have wrote more but I decide to leave you hanging. hahaha. :L

Unfortunately, I hadn't figured out the little faces yet but that can wait.

For the next couple of days, we just texted each other. It was strangely enjoyable but we were just good friends. I was always told about the training sessions so that I could do reports for it. He was really sweet and always ended his texts with a smiley face.

After two weeks of talking about it, Rob finally came to the flat to talk about Quidditch and Amelie.

'Thanks for helping me Victoire. I appreciate it. I am totally stuck for her present.'

He smiled his smile. Just like the one in our messages.

'No bother, I can tell you like her if you are asking for advice on a birthday present.'

'I do, I really do. At first I thought of an engagement ring for her birthday but I thought that was a bit soon. She might not have accepted.'

This shocked me a bit as Amelie and I had had the previous day.

'I really think I will end up marrying him one day Vic. Infact, I could marry him now.'

'Really, this soon? I don't know. To be honest Am, you aren't the most experienced person in relationships. He could turn out to be a nutter.'

'I know, but I love him. I am ready to give myself to him.'

'Is he ready for that?'

My question had just been answered.

'All I know is that she really thinks that you are the one, she feels really lucky to have you and so she should. You are a great guy. I don't see why she wouldn't say yes.'

'I don't know though. I will leave it a while. Give me a date please.'

'OK. As soon as the twins are born, think about it again. Deal?'

'Deal. Do you really think I am a great guy?'

'Of course I do. I let you in didn't I?'

We both laughed at this until I remembered that I hadn't offered him anything to eat or drink!

'I am so sorry. Do you want tea, coffee or juice? Cake or biscuit? I have plenty.'

'I will have a coffee please, only if you want anything.'

'I can't have caffeine at the moment. I miss it. I can still make it if you want. I insist.' I had to add the last bit as he shook his head.
‘I will help then.’

‘OK then, this way.’

We both squeezed in to the tiny kitchen, placing ourselves at an angle as to not knock each other. I got the mug out of the cupboard and awkwardly manoeuvred myself around him. As I turned towards him, he turned towards me to open the fridge. Our hands brushed the other and we both just looked into one another’s eyes.

‘I will do the water Vic.’

Anything to make him move. My hand was still tingling from when we touched.

After the kettle had boiled, he was pouring the scalding water in to the mug. I reached for the milk as he reached for the milk and, again, our hands touched. There was a stinging sensation running through my arm.

‘I am really – ‘

‘No, no. I should be sorry Vic.’
We turned to face each other, difficultly. I looked into his massive eyes and I think he looked into mine. Without being able to help it, we were gradually becoming closer. Our lips met. Parted. Met. Parted. For the moment, we were with one another. It felt correct. Meant to be.

‘I can’t. I just got married. I am pregnant. I just cheated on somebody. I – ‘

Rob’s index finger touched my lips, silencing me. ‘Shhh.....’

He kissed me again. This time I gave in. It couldn’t be helped. I was so vulnerable. I needed to be loved, my wish was coming true.

I was being so passionate that my arms swung up around his neck, knocking the coffee over. It spilled all over the work surface and Rob’s t-shirt.

We stopped. Finally, it was over. The thing is, I wanted more. I wanted a lifetime of that love.

So, how was it? Dramatic enough? LOL!!

Don't do it Vic! It's not a position a married woman needs to be put in. He is a sly one Vic. He's looking for confirmation that you might feel towards him like he feels towards you. Oh Vic, it could be helped. If only you hadn't answered that text. It's that vulnerable helplessness that rotten men like Rob look for in women to get what they want. Vic misses her husband so badly, and this Rob, is robbing her of Ted's love and substituting it with his own attention. I hope she finds out he has some kind of magic spell that's making her feel this stinging that she thinks is her wish coming true. At least then her marriage could possibly be saved. Who invited that Rob guy to the wedding anyway?

Hope you can post soon Katie so we can see if Vic is smarter than Rob, and throws him out on his ear! Ohhh! Or maybe Ted comes home and sees the spell and throws him out his own way. That's not a suggestion, it's just what I'm thinking in my head till I get to see how you take care of the problem. I'll be watching for your next post.

omg!that was quite a twist...pams when you can...i dont know what Ted will think of it...even worse...Vic will be in complete state of dispair since she knew what she did...aw...Vic...pams...wait...did i say pams before?...

I understand that I may have shocked some people but it is just part of the story. Emilyblack made a point of the name of the story 'Love:Teddy and Victoire'. It is all part of their journey and the things that they go through. The 'LOVE' part is important, they will always love each other.

We didn't even discuss Quidditch or Amelie's present thoroughly at all. Kiising was not the reason that he had come to the flat. Unfortunately, that is what it had turned in to.

As I lay in bed that night, I just thought of his last words before he left the door.

He told me that he loved me. His exact words were, ' I love you Victoire Lupin, Ted won't ever change that.' I wanted to hit him, hard. I had thought that a bit rude though.

I felt awful. Suicidal infact. The only thing that stopped me from stabbing myself was my daughters. By killing me, I was killing them. Right? I couldn't let Teddy lose three people.

Word had got around that Teddy, Ron and Harry were coming home in a couple of days for good. I don't know if it's true because I just heard one of the guys at work saying it.He is always full of gossip, being the editor for the front page and all.

Speaking of work, only two more days until I am out of this place for a while. It's soon to be my maternity leave. Can't wait for the 21st of February.

I could feel parties coming my way, unfortunately. There was probably going to be a going away bash in the office tomorrow and a baby shower from my aunts' was probably soon. I hate surprises. Especially bad ones.

When I woke on the 21st of February, I could hear an owl in the livingroom so I went to investigate. To my happiness, there was a letter. Finally he had been able to send me one. I was really worried. They had returned to South Africa a couple of weeks ago and this was getting me worried. As I approached the owl I noticed that there were two letters on it.

The first one was from Ted.

Hey lovely.
I am really sorry for not replying for so long. I hope you haven't been up to anything while I have been away. You are a married woman now. I am laughing. Anyway, do you ever get the feeling that something is wrong? Well, you probably do actually. You are you. I have this weird feeling that something is wrong. I think everyone feels it, the camp is really tense and everyone just cries all the time. Most are guys but there are two women who just cry like it's their last day. Ginny and Hermione are lucky that they are only English Aurors because of the kids. They would have been in for some shock. Anyway, I hope I haven't made you feel down. You are the one person that I can talk to about my feelings. Ron and Harry are feeling the same so it wouldn't be right to chat with them. I love you so much. Really.
My stomach just twisted like it was saying that would be the last time I could ever tell you that. Do not know why I wrote that. Nearly done the letter so I won't start again. Love you, again. Love you too ladies (I mean the twins)

'I know who you mean Ted.' I laughed to myself at that line.

The second letter was much more formal. The envelope was stamped with the Ministry sign. I just presumed it was for work or something. When I opened it, I found that I was very wrong.

Awe Katie, it's so sad. I sure don't want Vic's indiscrations fixed by killing off Teddy, and besides we don't know that he is dead. I wonder what has come of Harry and Ron? I hope they are ok. But, if they are it seems like Hermione and Ginny would have heard about Teddy from them and they would have gone to Vic right away. It's been said that a persons first instincts are almost always correct. She should have hit him. Oh no! Don't think that way! Never give up hope I always say.
