 This is the sequel to Choices. Sorry about the wait, I was trying to make sure I could actually continue where I got stuck at.
Summary:
it’s been twelve years since Draco and Hermione’s deaths. Dezi has grown up with Harry as her father, Ginny as her mother, her brother, Darren, who is twelve and in his 2nd year, four years younger than she is, and her sister, Chloe, who was sixish years younger than she was and going into her first year.
Since Dezi has gone to Hogwarts, people have been after her because she’s a Malfoy in Gryffindor, and that she’s a ‘mudblood Malfoy’. They constantly remind her of the fact that she’s truly an orphan. After five years of this torture from the students, she falls into an even deeper state of misery (not depression just to make that clear, but she isn’t exactly happy...) in her 6th year, and despite her friend Kristal trying to help, it just doesn’t work.
But then a boy mysteriously shows up at Hogwarts, almost out of thin air, claiming to be a sixth year Gryffindor as well. He doesn’t care that Dezi is really a Malfoy, and he shows Dezi that it doesn’t matter who you because of where you come from, but who you really are and want to become. (There’s a secret about who the boy is BTW, you’ll probably figure out who he is before I reveal who he is and what happened to him). You know me, things will probably move fast =) (and like I've said, it'll go fast cause of my lack of ideas... dunno how long this F.F will be, but I'm sure this'll be the last F.F in line with Secret Love and Choices)
BTW, I DID make sure to incorporate Draco and Hermione You’ll find out in future chapters how I do so (YES, they ARE dead, I’d like to remind ya  ).
And also, you all remember how Dezi’s eyes could change colour, right? Well she was a born Metamorphmagi, but the shock of her parents deaths affected her (as it did for Tonks when Sirius died, that sort of thing), and she hasn’t used her power since then, let alone it hasn’t even been working with her eyes changing with her emotions or anything... so ya  Just wanted to make that clear too, something'll happen with those abilities actually...
The first chapter is kinda short... but ya, it just leads up is all I can say...
Anyways, I'll stop rambling now

Sarah Chapter 1
Fed Up
Dezi tossed her things inside an empty compartment. The wall of the compartment shook with the force her luggage was tossed at. Dezi didn’t care, she was mad, and once a Malfoy was mad, there’s no point in fighting it.
Sitting down in a seat, she put her face in her hands. She didn’t want to go back, she was practically pushed on the train by Ginny, and just last night Dezi had a fight, ‘yelling match’ as Darren had put it, with her ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ that they managed to get Mrs. Black involved.
“Nothing has gone right in my life... why me? Why the hell does it have to be me...?” Dezi thought aloud. Everything plummeted as soon as the Sorting Hat had yelled ‘Gryffindor’ when she was sorted. It truly plummeted when she was born, the moment her real mum went to a Malfoy of all people. If only they were alive, then she wouldn’t be thrown into this madness called her life.
“Didn’t want to come back, eh?”
Dezi looked up and saw her friend Kristal close the compartment door closed.
“What makes you say that?” Dezi asked sarcastically.
“It was hard not to notice your mum push you onto the train.”
“She’s not my mum,” Dezi spat as she turned away, putting her feet on the seat beside her and hugging her legs to her body.
“So sorry,” Kristal said with a similar sarcastic edge Dezi used moments before. “Your adoptive mother. Should I call your father your adoptive father as well?”
Dezi rolled her eyes.
“You had a fight again, didn’t you?”
“Yeah.”
“What about this time?”
“Coming here.”
“Why waste time fighting about something like that? It’s futile.”
Dezi glared at Kristal.
“What?”
Dezi shook her head and looked away again, back out the window to the passing land of the outskirts of London.
“God... I can’t do this anymore.”
“Do what?”
“This! Take the load from you, day in, day out! Six years, I’ve put up with it that long. Trying to help, it’s just a waste of time!”
“Kris...”
“No, I’ve had enough of it. If you’re lucky you’ll find someone else to annoy, and you made it bloody well clear you aren’t lucky.”
Kristal got up, grabbed her things and left, slamming the compartment door shut. Sighing, Dezi stayed where she was, oblivious to the fact she had just thrown away her only friend. oi, well... I seem to love changing my mind.
I love the song Someone's Watching Over Me (more compared to Cause Your Watching Over Me by Alexz Johnson), but the lyrics to CYWoM are more suitable....
Gah, I'll figure it out soon cause I figured out how to get past my tough spot (you guys might not like how I did it but you'd be waiting a heck of a lot longer if I didn't ), and ya...
I'll figure it out. Between those two. It'll be a surprise kinda

Enjoy the last chapter! (This is as good as I could make it without it sounding to corny I would've added 'and my parents' in the last sentence... I kinda didn't but ya, whatev )
You guys might not like how I got over my stuck-ness but you'd be waiting FOREVER to get another post if I went into Sirius/Dezi dialogue-age (and Draco+Hermione+Dezi dialogue-age) Time passed by fast as Dezi talked with Sirius and then her parents. They all somehow said something about how she shouldn’t starve herself because things haven’t gone well for her.
“Well we have to go...” Hermione said.
“Will I ever get a chance to you guys again?” Dezi asked. She hoped it wasn’t the last time she’d ever get to see her parents and Sirius in ‘person’.
“We don’t really know,” Draco responded honestly. “There are so many times where we’ve visited others, and you have a certain amount of times unless you do certain favours...”
“Oh for goodness sake, Draco! If you were just more polite about it maybe you’d get more of a chance to do these things,” Hermione snapped. Sirius opened his mouth to comment.
“Don’t,” Hermione cut him off sharply before he could say anything.
“So I might never...”
“Maybe. We’ll find out,” Hermione cut Dezi off. “It seems that we can only come around in time of need.”
“I didn’t need help that bad!” Dezi exclaimed indignantly. The three, Draco, Hermione, and Sirius, chuckled.
“Look back on your life before 6th year, you’ll see what we mean,” was all Draco responded in a mysterious way.
Dezi didn’t see the point in doing what her dad said, but didn’t say (or try to think) it.
“We have to go,” Hermione said after a moment.
Dezi stepped up and hugged her mom (she found it was possible now). After a few moments, she turned to her dad and hugged him as well.
“Best for last?”
Dezi withheld a scoff, but Draco, knowing what she was going to do, scoffed for her. Dezi just rolled her eyes, went up to Sirius and hugged him as well.
“Bye,” she said to all of them as they started to disappear in front of them. The three of them smiled and vanished in front of her eyes.
“I still don’t see why you had to come, Black,” Dezi hear faintly as she was slowly pulled away from Limbo.
Dezi shot up out of bed. She looked around frantically but saw nothing but the four posters that made up her bed, a dresser, a mirror, a bedside table and a bunch of pictures set up on the extra spaces. She thought about what she was told as her stomach rumbled in complaint.
Looking at her alarm clock, Dezi saw it was only 4:30am. She quietly got out of bed and tip-toed out of her room, down the stairs and into the kitchen, managing to get past the portrait of Mrs. Black without being noticed.
Dezi walked into the kitchen and conjured up a bowl of corn flakes with milk, a pile of pancakes and orange juice. She sat down and was about to eat when she heard the creaking and groaning of the house. She flicked her wand at the radio and magically scrolled through the stations until she found the muggle music station she enjoyed listening to.
She started crunching away at her corn flakes when the music stopped on the radio.
“That was Jordan Pruitt’s Outside Looking In live from the studio. Thank you for your time, Jordan. Up next is Cause Your Watching Over Me by Alexz Johnson!”
Dezi finished her corn flakes quickly and went onto her pancakes. She stopped when the song started.

As the song ended, Dezi felt tears prick her eyes. The song did make her think of her past year, how she had gone from depressed to blissful, all because of one change in her life, one guy changed everything for her. He showed her a new side to life, a reason to live.
Even though Sirius isn’t here anymore, he’ll always be watching over me.
