One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna's laughter diminished to a fit of giggles as Ferris defended himself, telling her not to laugh at him. But this only seemed to amuse her more, though she tried her best to push the giggles away. As the boy then pulled her closer and buried his face into her hair, Vianna smiled faintly to herself. "It's okay, Professor, we've all been attacked by a bag of flour at one point or another in our lives," she said, half-seriously and half-playfully as one of her hands came up to meet his curly, flour-covered hair as if consoling a child. A very, very tall child. But she then eventually pulled herself back slightly, so that she could see the boy's face again. Smiling, she leaned over and placed a kiss on his cheek. "If it makes you feel any better, you still look adorable with flour on your face," she told him with a soft chuckle, wiping the flour from her lips. "C'mon, let's clean that off. Unless, of course, you really like the new look and would rather stay that way..." she giggled.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris smiled into her hair at the feel of her fingers in his curls, one of his most cherished gestures from the girl, and it momentarily distracted him from the flour all over his face. He listened as she told him that everyone had been attacked by a bag of flour at least once, letting out a light chuckle and watching her as she pulled a bit away from him. He smiled as she kissed his cheek though, another gesture he had come to love from her, and watched as she told him he looked adorable with flour on his face, if that made him feel better. "A little," he gave in with a slight smile, too amused with the girl's reaction to be bitter. He nodded as she suggested that they clean it off, adding that they could keep it if he wanted to keep the look. "Thanks anyway," he said, rolling his eyes playfully at the girl before taking out his wand and muttering a spell that removed the flour from his face, body, and Vianna's hair, along with removing it from the counter. He let out a sigh, turning back to the task at hand. "Okay, so I just...rub all this on the chicken?" he confirmed hesitantly, now even more tentative to start.

Smiling, Vianna watched as Ferris got rid of the mess with a wave of his wand before asking her if all he had to do was rub the flour on the chicken. "Pretty much," she replied with a nod, then searching the drawers. She went through them until she found a wooden board. "Spread some flour there and then just kind of roll the chicken on it until it's covered in flour," she said.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris nodded slightly, taking the wooden board from her and setting it in front of him. He hesitantly took a handful of flour from the busted open bag, plopping it unceremoniously onto the board and spreading it out a bit. He then did the same with the pepper and the salt. He then very slowly and carefully removed the chicken from its package and placed it onto the board in all of the seasonings, all the while thinking: Don't drop it, don't drop it, don't drop it. He slowly started rolling it over and over, half the time kind of letting it fall from the board and onto the counter. But he managed to get it fairly covered.

Vianna giggled to herself as Ferris got to work, watching his hand work for a moment before distracting herself with the open flour bag, her mind already plotting pranks and mischief. But she was snapped out of these thoughts eventually and looked up to find the chicken perfectly seasoned. Vianna beamed. "Good job, Professor!" she told him before leaning over and awarding him a kiss on the cheek.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris seemed to be rather proud of himself as Vianna told him he had done a good job before rewarding him with another kiss to the cheek. He turned to smile at her, more happy with the kiss than his job with the chicken, "Does this mean I get a kiss everytime I participate? Because you should've told me that in the first place. I would have been much more cooperative," he told her teasingly with a grin, leaving the chicken to sit there on the wooden board covered in the seasonings.

Vianna raised her eyebrows at Ferris as he told her she should've mentioned kissing him as an award for his good work earlier, so that he could have been more cooperative. The girl chuckled softly at this. "I'll keep that in mind for the next time we cook something," she said with a smile, though she didn't see them cooking again any time soon. The girl then walked over to the oven and furrowed her brows slightly, turning around to face Ferris. "Does the book say what temperature we have to heat the chicken at?"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris was about to argue that they could use such tactics for this cooking experience when she asked if the cookbook mentioned anything about what temperature to cook the chicken at. "I'm sure it does..." he murmured, picking the book back up and leaned his back against the counter. This felt a little better, relieving a slight discomfort in his lower back that he hadn't realized was there. Maybe lifting stuff today...wasn't the best idea. He shrugged off the thought and scanned the recipe page, "Uh...Yeah, it says to cook it at 350."

Vianna nodded as Ferris answered her question, setting the oven to the indicated temperature. "And while that heats, I'll go ahead and set the pan, and you can cut up the chicken into smaller, flatter pieces," said Vianna before beginning to search the shelves and cupboards for a pan. "Oh and try not to cut yourself, okay, Professor?" she added teasingly, giggling to herself before quickly adding, "I'm kidding, I'm kidding!"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris wasn't laughing as Vianna was as the girl suggested that he not cut himself with the knife she indicated to him, as though this comment was a joke. "You're putting a knife in my hand?!" he repeated incredulously, eyebrows raising. He held up his left hand, pointing out a small scar on his pinky finger, "Summer of 2003: Ferris attempts to cook in his aunt's kitchen. Nearly cuts off his own finger. This scar is after a healing spell." Most healing spells could heal up a wound nearly completely, with little scarring left over. But Ferris's scar was plainly seen, indicating a deep cut.
OOC: Off for twenty minutes or so!

Vianna eventually found a cooking pan, but didn't move from her spot as Ferris began speaking, expressing his disbelief that she was putting a knife in his hand. The girl's eyebrows rose slightly and she opened her mouth, but before she had a chance to reply, he went on, now sharing with her what had happened to him a few years ago when he tried to cook. Vianna's eyes widened slightly at the sight of his scar and eventually smiled faintly. "Professor that was years ago!" she said, chuckling softly. Though with the serious look he had on his face, she wasn't sure forcing him into this one would be the best idea. "Alright, then, how about I cut the chicken and you set up the cooking pan?" she suggested with another smile, completely amused by the boy before her.
ooc: Okay!

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's serious expression morphed into a half smile, once more unable to keep up his mode of seriousness when Vianna was around. "Alright," he said with a small nod, feeling a bit bad about making her switch jobs with him. He would've done it, he just wanted her to know what she was doing when she gave him a knife. "How do I set up a cooking pan?" he asked her, curious as whenever he had cooked he had never been assigned this job.

Vianna moved over to Ferris's other side and pulled a knife from the drawer. But before she could start cutting the chicken, the boy beside her asked how he could set up the pan. Vianna smiled in amusement. "Just pour some olive oil into it - not too much - and give it a moment to heat. Then we'll put the chicken inside and some of the other stuff," replied Vianna, though she wasn't completely sure herself, as she had never cooked this before, after all, and was working mostly on what she had seen as a child from her aunts. "I think the book should say how long you can leave the oil heating."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris listened as Vianna explained what he should do, and he quickly acquired the ingredients she said he would need to 'set up the pan'. He grabbed the pan she had already found, setting it on one of the stove tops. He then took the oil from the counter, poured a bit of it into the pan and then went over to the book to see how long he should let it sit. Finding out it needed to wait for about three minutes, he stood watching it, bored. That was until he saw Vianna, and his lanky arms found their way around her waist as they did all too often.

Meanwhile, Vianna was cutting the chicken slowly and as best she could. The girl was no professional chef, after all, and the bit of cooking she ever did had never required any cutting or the use of knives. She smiled as Ferris eventually joined her, though her eyes remained glued to the task at hand. But just when she was starting to get the hang of it, the blade accidentally sliced at her right index finger. "Ow!" Vianna yelped, immediately pulling her hurt hand back. "This is what I get for teasing you," she muttered with dark humour before heading over to the sink to wash it off.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris was just watching the girl cut up the chicken, his arms snugly around her, and refrained from kissing her neck in the fear that she would squirm and accidentally cut herself. But his efforts were lost as the girl sliced her index finger, and his eyes widened at the sight of blood. How he hated the dark joke she made, reminding him of the fact that he had passed this job to her, giving her free reign to chop off her own fingers because he was a baby about his own. He followed after the girl with furrowed brows, "Are you alright?" he asked her, hoping it wasn't too deep of a cut.

"I'm fine," Vianna replied with a nod of her head, pulling out her wand and performing a quick healing spell before getting back to work as if nothing had just happened. She cut the chicken into a couple more pieces before seasoning them a bit more and turning to the oven. "Is the oil ready now, Professor?" she asked the boy.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris watched as she quickly remedied her injury, going back to work as though nothing had happened, with slightly wide eyes. Maybe he was just a big baby about cuts and things, but he didn't particularly feel too great about blood. Still feeling a little guilty, he turned to the stove as she mentioned the oil, asking if it was ready, "Yeah, it should be about ready for the chicken," he said with a nod, tucking his hands behind his back as though keeping them in view would cause yet another accident.

Vianna smiled faintly as Ferris announced that the oil was ready. She then proceeded to set the large and flat cut pieces of chicken in the oil, which sent sparks flying in every direction. The girl took a weary step back and watched the food for a moment before turning to Ferris. "And now we wait," she announced with a smile.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's eyes widened at the sight of the sparks from the chicken meeting the oil in the pan, not having expected it as he hadn't really cooked much at all in his life. He took a step back just as Vianna did, watching the pan for half a moment before his eyes turned to the girl next to him as she spoke, announcing that it was time for them to wait now. He gave a small nod but his concentration was now on her finger. He picked up her hand in both of his, examining her index finger, "Are you sure you're alright?" he asked her, his dark brown eyesbrow furrowing once more.

Vianna watched as Ferris took her hand into both of his and asked her if she was alright. The girl nodded. "I'm fine, Professor. Really," she confirmed with a smile. "It was just a minor cut, I didn't chop my whole hand off," she added, obviously not giving the incident much importance as she didn't consider it that serious.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor In Ferris's warped idea of the occurance, it had become his fault that she even cut her finger in the first place. He knew it wasn't a huge deal, and gave a small nod as she mentioned that it was really fine, he could only give a weak smile. He just really didn't like the idea that it had come about from him making her switch jobs with him. So, he lifted up her hand and placed a warm kiss to her finger, giving her a soft smile as he knew there wasn't much else he could do. "I'm sorry I'm such a pain," he told her, as this was the only way he could explain why he wanted to apologize to her.

Vianna giggled lightly to herself, much like the schoolgirl in love that she was, as Ferris placed a kiss on the hurt finger. But all signs of amusement faded from her features as the boy spoke, apologizing to her for 'being such a pain'. Vianna's brows furrowed. "What? You're not a pain, Professor!" she said, a mix of mild amusement and confusion taking over her features. "Why would you even say that?" she asked him more softly.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave her a sheepish smile as she told him he wasn't a pain, as though showing his appreciation for a lie she had told to spare his feelings. "I'm not the best cooking partner," he explained as though this was a bit obvious. "I'm a complainer and....I'm reluctant and...I don't know, I just...You cut your finger," he said with a light, humorless chuckle. He seemed a little awkward, having to explain this to her, but he felt it needed to be done.

Vianna listened quietly and attentively as the boy before her tried to explain himself to her, telling her that he wasn't the best cooking partner and finishing by accusing himself of cutting her finger. Vianna was slightly amused at first by the silly things he apologized for, but as he finished the smile faded from her face and her brows furrowed. "Professor! What're you saying? How does me cutting my finger have anything to do with you? You make it sound like you took the knife and cut my finger yourself!" she said, a bit incredulous at his apology. She then sighed, figuring that scolding wasn't necessarily going to make the boy feel any better. And so, instead, she leaned over a placed a kiss on his cheek as she had been doing often lately. "That cut was entirely my fault, Professor, you don't have to apologize for it," she told him with a faint sympathetic smile.
