This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

The visit to the vet had taken a little longer than the siblings had expected, and by the time Vince and Vianna returned from the vet's office, it had probably been a little over an hour since they had left the hotel. Vianna was all smiles as she entered the room with her beloved squirrel sitting on her hands shooting Vince murderous glares. Vince merely glared at the squirrel in return before disappearing into his room to shower and change as Vianna hadn't given him a chance to do so before leaving. Meanwhile, the girl headed over to Ferris's room. She smiled at the sight of the boy distracted in a peaceful sleep before heading back out and into her own room where she let Fluffy down so he could roam around freely.

Ferris was awoken slightly from his sleep as he heard a door open, but it was only enough to wake him up half way. What really awoke him was the sharp pain in his back that wouldn't stop throbbing, forcing the boy to let out a surprised yell. He quickly quieted himself down, sitting up slightly and resting his right hand on his back with a grimace. He cursed under his breath, suddenly realizing that he hadn't taken his medicine as Vianna instructed. He scowled before trying to stand up and get it before Vianna got back (unaware that it was her and Vince who had returned, though I don't know who else he thought it would be. lol). But he couldn't stand without a huge pain coursing through his body, causing Ferris to sit back down immediately with another soft yell and a grimace.

He prolly thought it was Peeves who keeps torturing us all!

Vianna was in her kitchen debating whether she should go and try to buy lunch not knowing a word of French or if she should wait for Ferris to wake up. But she was snapped out of these thoughts at the sound of yelling, though it came low and muffled as it came from two rooms away. Vianna turned sharply at the sound and it took her a second to realize who it could have belonged to. In hurried steps, almost running, the girl rushed into Ferris's room, crossing the living room and opening the door to his bedroom once again. Her eyes widened slightly at the sight of the boy sitting in bed grimacing. "Professor! What's wrong?!"

Ferris looked up with furrowed brows as Vianna entered the room, happy to see her but not in this circumstance. "I-It's my back," he told her with another grimace, for once putting away the phrases 'I'm fine' and 'Don't worry' that he usually used to force people to not fuss over him. Now was not the time for that. "Can you just get the med...icine. Please?" he let out, his eyes closed as he spoke, his concentration on the pain coming from his back like bricks. He crouched over a little more, one hand on his back and his free elbow on his knee.

Vianna listened as Ferris explained that the source of the pain was his back before he then asked her if she could get the medicine. Had it been any other occasion, Vianna would have probably nagged him about not having taken his medicine especially after she specifically asked him to do so, but this was no time to be nagging the boy when he was in so much pain. And so, with a nod, she quickly disappeared from the doorway and hurried over to the kitchen. She filled a glass with cool water and carried it over to him in one hand while holding the medicine in the other. "Here you go," she said, handing it to him as she sat down by his side.

Ferris gave her a small, appreciative smile as she brought back the water and the medication. He quickly opened the medicine, taking out the large pill he should've taken earlier this morning, and downing it in one quick motion. He drank the water, his face apparently stuck in a grimace as his back continued to sore and throb at him like it never had before. "I'm sorry-I should've taken it earl..earlier, I know. I jus-got distracted," he let out to the girl now at his side, trying to sit up a bit but it hurt. He cursed, but kept moving, deciding it might be best to just lay down on the bed. His back still felt like it was being poked with a thousand hot pokers, but it was a little better than before.

Vianna smiled faintly as Ferris took his medicine before then beginning to apologize, telling her he should have taken his medicine earlier. "It's alright, Professor, don't worry about it," she told him, watching as he now laid down. "You should go back to sleep. By the time you wake up, your back should hopefully be back to normal," she added with a slight nod, still smiling sympathetically at the boy.

Ferris listened as the girl told him it was alright he hadn't taken the medicine earlier before pointing out that he should go back to sleep as it was possible his back would feel better when he woke up. "If I can get back to sleep at all with this back," he said with a soft sigh, closing his eyes for a moment as a particularly sharp pain stabbed at him. He opened them once more to reveal slightly pleading dark brown eyes which were still a bit bloodshot, "Stay with me," he requested of Vianna, looking very much like a scared little boy. "I know you have Vince and he doesn't want us in the bed, but...I need you really bad right now."

Vianna's forehead creased slightly and her gaze turned somewhat pitiful as she listened to the boy doubt that he could get much sleep with the way his back was hurting. She watched him quietly for a moment before he then spoke again, asking her to stay with him. She tilted her head just slightly and gave Ferris a look, reluctantly about to remind him of her brother's request from the day before. But before she could do that, he continued, mentioning the same thing before letting her know he really needed her at that moment. Vianna felt her heart sink at his words, filling with pity and sympathy for the boy. Looking at his pleading eyes, she found it impossible to deny him such a simple request, and so, she nodded her head with a faint smile. "I'll stay with you," she said, leaning over and placing a kiss on his cheek.

Ferris gave a small smile of relief as Vianna assured him that she would stay with him, and in the back of his mind he was worried about Vince. But he couldn't let Vianna leave now, he wanted to be near her, she made him happy. And he had missed her presence entirely too much the night before. He patted the place next to him on the bed with his hand, after feeling her lips on his cheek. It already made him feel better that she could stay with him, he had no desire to be left alone now. "Come up here with me."

Vianna smiled with amusement as Ferris requested her presence next to him and proceed to lay down beside the boy. She watched him for a moment, examining his exhausted features, his bloodshot eyes. The girl then leaned over and placed yet another kiss on his cheek, feeling rather guilty she couldn't do more for him. "Do you think we should extend the stay another day?" she asked him after a moment's silence. "Give you time to recover your energy, and all."

Ferris smiled slightly as she laid down next to him, kissing his cheek before asking if they should extend their stay longer so he could get his energy back up. He frowned, his arm slowly wrapping around her as to not hurt his back in the process, as he thought. "I don't want to keep everyone back," he finally said, "But I don't know how I'll be able to leave and ride a broom in the next couple hours..." He let out a small sigh, looking over at the girl. "We can't stay in one place too long, and we've already extended our stay here more than we normally would've."

Vianna watched Ferris thoughtfully as he spoke, nodding her head slightly as he pointed out that they had already extended their stay longer than usual. "You're right," she said. "But it'll only be one more day - and like you said, you can't fly a broom like this," she continued, her expression still thoughtful before a determined smile curved her lips. "We'll just stay one more day," she decided, not leaving any room for arguments. It might be risky to stay in the same place too long, but it was also risky to have the boy fly for hours when his back was hurt like this.

Though the idea of resting for a day sounded very appealing to the boy, Ferris couldn't help but still feel bad for keeping everyone back. "I don't know Vi," he said with a small sigh, turning his eyes back to her as his back relaxed into the bed, still hurting but easier to ignore now. "Maybe you guys should just go ahead of me, or something," he suggested halfheartedly, unsure if that plan was even possible.

Vianna raised her eyebrows slightly at Ferris as the boy suggested the group moved on without him. "Yes, that sounds like a great plan, Professor. We'll just go ahead and leave you to your own luck in here, with no one to pass you your medicine or eat marshmallows with you," she said sarcastically, obviously not agreeing with his plan. "We're staying another day and that's final. And if the others don't like it, then they can go but I'm not leaving you, Professor," she told him in a tone that made it clear she wasn't going to be listening to any counterarguments.

Ferris watched with slightly admiring eyes as his girlfriend immediately told him in a rather sarcastic manner that his plan was great, that it would be a good idea to just leave him here all alone. He let out a light chuckle before listening as she told him very firmly that they were staying another day, and that if the others didn't like it, they could move on without them. His eyebrows rose slightly, but he couldn't keep a slight smile from his face as he leaned forward to kiss her cheek. "Well, I'm smart enough to know not to argue with you now," he said with another small laugh but he quickly stopped as the movement of his stomach from the laughter upset his back even more. He gave a wince, freezing for a moment before slowly letting his muscles relax.

Vianna smiled as Ferris's lips met her cheek before he then went on to tell her that he knew better than to argue with her by now. The girl laughed lightly with him, but stopped as he did, watching as the boy now winced at the pain on his back. She gave him a sympathetic look before speaking, "Try to sleep, Professor. It'll help the medicine work faster," she told him. "I'll still be here when you wake up," she added with a smile.

Ferris gave a weak smile to the girl next to him as she told him to try and sleep, as it would help his medicine work faster. He gave a small nod before hearing her next comment, that she would still be here when he woke up. "I'm happy to hear that," he told her softly, sinking back a bit more into the pillows. And even though that he managed to get his arm around her, pulling her closer to him as he so often did would cause him great pain, and yet he wanted her nearer to him. "Vi, come over here a little more," he asked of her with a small smile, feeling a little useless.

Vianna smiled as did Ferris and then chuckled softly as the boy asked her to get closer. With a nod, the girl did as she was asked, now close enough to the boy to leave almost no space between them. She was just about to rest her head on his chest as she often did, but quickly took that decision back, as if doing so would cause him to break.

Ferris's smile widened slightly as Vianna closed the space between them, now right at his side and he turned slightly so he was a bit more comfortable next to her. His arm still wrapped around her, he gently stroked her back as he so often did, still able to do this small gesture. He very slowly brought up his free hand, being careful not to hurt anything, and gently pushed her head onto his chest before returning his hand to his side. He then rested his own head lightly on hers, starting to close his eyes. "Thanks Vi," he murmured softly before drifting into a slumber.

Vianna couldn't help but giggle as Ferris seemed to read her mind and allowed her head to rest on his chest before he then placed his own on top of hers. "No problem," she replied with amusement to his gratitude before he slowly fell asleep. As his breathing evened out and the hand on her back eventually stopped moving, the girl was able to tell he was officially deep asleep. And so, she closed her own eyes and slowly drifted to a sleep of her own as well, one of her arms coming to rest across his chest, as if he were a pillow or a stuffed animal to snuggle to.

Now that his back had its medicine and he was laying next to Vianna, pure exhaustion snuck over him and his body was too tired to wake him with any nightmares. He rested peacefully as the medication slowly filled his body, starting to cease his back pain. He slept soundly for about five hours without any interruption caused by himself, his arm snug around Vianna as he kept her to his chest, the pain in his back releasing enough to let him move a bit more freely. He did however, remain beneath the covers, whereas Vianna was still on top of them.

Vianna wasn't nearly half as tired as Ferris - actually, she wasn't tired at all when she went to sleep - so she enjoyed a much shorter nap. She nearly jumped in surprise at the sight that greeted her when she opened her eyes - Fluffy was standing on Ferris's chest, near her arm, merely staring blankly at the two of them. He was probably demanding some marshmallows. Vianna pulled her arm closer to herself and used her hand to pet the squirrel absentmindedly as Ferris slept, giggling quietly to herself as Fluffy rubbed his own little head against her hand the way a spoiled cat usually would to its owner.

When Ferris finally awoke, he let out a small sigh, the kind that came after a particularly refreshing nap. When he opened his eyes, he was greeted with the sight of Vianna petting Fluffy and he smiled immediately; he had nearly forgotten about Fluffy's return to them. "Hey there little guy," he said tiredly, his voice a little rough but a smile on his pale features. He used his free hand to pet the squirrel's head gently before turning his eyes to Vianna, "Hey there gem," he said with a bigger smile, leaning forward to press his lips to hers gently.

Vianna's eyes widened slightly in surprise at the sound of Ferris's unexpected voice and she beamed at the sight of the boy. She turned from him to Fluffy as the boy began petting the squirrel who had now began rubbing its head on his hand. As Ferris then greeted her with a kiss on the lips, the girl smiled slightly to herself as she kissed him back for a moment before pulling back. "Did you sleep well?" she asked him, her smile widening.
