This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna adjusted Fluffy's cage amongst other things on her broom before mounting and joining the others in the air. She wondered vaguely if anyone knew the way to France but opted best not to ask, sure her oldest brother must have figured that out long before they set to the air. The siblings all turned in unison and waved Mrs. Montgomery farewell before setting off at a speed that made them for the most part, a blur in the sky. Vianna was rather caught off-guard at first but was quick to catch up with her brothers' speeds, glancing back to find a horrified Fluffy cowering in a corner of his cage.

Ferris turned to wave at his mother, who in turn waved back before apparating with her things away. He gave a last glance to his small yellow house before zooming off after the others, barely able to enjoy the wind whipping against his face and the rush he was overcome with from the speed. He watched the town grow smaller and smaller beneath them, a firm frown planted on his face. Be it the wind or from his own emotions, he felt tears come to his eyes but he held them in, keeping silent, and managing to make them go away after a few minutes of blinking. He was stiff on his broom, muscles tense, frown on his face, and uncertainty in his eyes. He had completely forgotten of his promise to talk with Julia that morning.

After a few moments of flying in complete silence, Vianna's mind began to drift slightly. She was way too sleepy and tired to fully concentrate on what was going on, and she tried her best to snap back to reality. She glanced at the other members of the group to awaken herself slightly, but everyone was unusually quiet. Even her brothers, who loved to argue and play around while flying were completely silent. Vianna looked down and yawned before looking back up at the boy beside her. Her forehead creased slightly as she read the expression on his face. She wanted to say something, anything, be of some type of comfort, but talking while flying at such fast speeds would prove to be far too challenging to try. She yawned again and watched the boy for a moment before looking away, her eyes squinted against the wind and begging to close and rest for a bit.

Ferris turned thoughtful, letting his mind wander over the last couple of days, trying to imagine what the next few days ahead of him could ever bring. He looked over at Vianna once in a while, watching as she yawned and making a mental note to make sure she didn't doze off when on the broom. Maybe they would stop somewhere along the way, that way they could get at least a little more sleep.

The feeling of flying, which always made Kayla feel good, was wasted on her. She had given Mrs. M a smile, thankful for her hospitality, but she didn't feel any good now. Mostly just because she didn't want to leave. Ferris had such a nice home, and she had even got a bit used to Mrs. Montgomery.

Even Jamie was feeling melancholy, despite the fact that he was usually in a good mood. But because of the silence, he wasn't really paying any more attention to his surroundings then making sure he was flying the right direction.

Vianna made it through the first couple of hours, yawning every other minute but managing to keep herself awake by distracting herself with whatever her curious eyes fell upon. But there was only so much her curious nature could do, and with the lack of activity and energy in the group, Vianna slowly began to drift away from reality. She gave another yawn and her blue eyes closed for probably a bit longer than they should have. Fluffy was nearly having a heart attack from inside his cage as the broom suddenly inclined, quickly gaining speed. Vianna gave an involuntary shriek as her eyes opened and registered the situation; she was quick to pull back up, though, now far too horrified to even dare blink. Her hair was like a bird's nest and her crystal eyes remained wide as she regained composure and checked on her terrified pet who now thought her insane. She then glanced at her brothers up ahead and sighed in relief as they seemed not to have noticed anything as their attention was to the view up ahead and not behind them.

Kayla, who was alert, but looking around, did notice Vianna. Seeing her broom begin to go down, she gave a start. It was good, at least, that Vianna pulled herself up quickly. She looked at her for a moment or two, but couldn't say anything anyway, and carried on flying. Time carried on, and maybe it was just her, but it seemed to stretch on for longer than it should have. She didn't know much of Geography, but France wasn't that far away, was it?

Sniffling Jack trundled out of the kitchen and followed the others slowly. Before of course NOT mounting a broom. Once Mrs Montgomery had came out with Ferris, Jack pulled the woman into a hug and mumbled his thanks. But within moment of the hug starting Jack was close to tears, and let go. "Bye..." He trailed off.. And then mounted his broom.

And then they were going.. Going away. Obviously not sure if or when they would return. It wasnt right. Jack wanted to stay.. He wanted to be safe.. But they weren't. "I DUNT LIKE FLYINNNNG..." He wailed, about two hours into the journey. And he didnt. He was getting a sicky feeling in his tummy. "Why cant we go to Hogwarts? We'd be saaaaafe..." He stopped.

Vianna turned her gaze upon Jack as the boy began complaining that he hated flying. She gave him an apologetic look, feeling rather bad that the poor boy had been forced into doing something he didn't enjoy for two hours straight. She considered saying something comforting, but knew he wouldn't be able to hear it with the wind whipping against them the way it was. But when Vianna looked ahead again, she had to come to an abrupt halt - her brothers were only a couple of feet away, having slowed considerably.

"We're nearing London!" Victor called out, his voice fighting against the wind. Though it was easy to hear him now that they had slowed. "We'll get down at King's Cross and the rest of the ride will be-- Vianna!"

Vianna's eyes had closed for a brief moment as her brother began speaking, but she quickly jumped and opened her eyes at the sound of her name. "I'm up, I'm up! What happened?! King's Cross-- I got it. Right-- let's go," she said, dazed as she began moving again, admiring the cityscape ahead.

Stooooppid Flying! Kings Cross? WHYY. If they were flying onto France then why were they stopping there. You couldn't get a train to France could you? Jack gave a sigh, and moved one hand off his broom to scratch the side of his nose. And kept gripping with his other hand. KEPT GRIPPING, hard enough that the wood might aswell of crumbled beneath his fingers.

He was debating whether to ask if he could tell his mummy where they were headed, but thought it better. Looking around at the others, not looking where he was heading himself, he shrugged. "Ned at home with his parents then?" He commented quickly, not even sure if anyone had heard.

All three siblings came to an abrupt halt at Jack's last words. Vianna's eyes widened. "Ned! Oh my-- Merlin-- Ned! We've left Ned!" she said, beginning to panic. How could no one have noticed that the boy wasn't with the group?! "We have to go back!"

Vince and Victor exchanged looks, their features uneasy. But neither one of them said anything for a moment. "Ned's fine, he's not coming with us," Victor said after a brief silence. "Anyway, let's go before the floo hub gets too crowded."

Vianna was not pleased with her brother's response and it took her a moment to react and start moving again. Why wasn't Ned going with them? Her brows furrowed slightly as she thought about this, now too panicked to feel sleepy again. None of this made any sense whatsoever, and she began suspecting the worst on Ned's whereabouts.

For the very first time since they got stuck in this situation, Victor felt quite glad to have Jack around complaining and whining about things. It gave them an opportunity to turn the conversation away from Ned's fortune. "The castle doesn't allow magic anymore, Tamworth, I doubt the elves are still there to cook for anyone."

He looked at the other brother and scowled at him, he was going to make this as awquard a spossible. Because France didnt sound very nice. Not nice at all.

Victor furrowed his brows, now turning to his brother. "W--Well, yeah..." started Vince hesitantly, turning from the scowling Jack to his older brother. "I mean-- think about it... it's such an obvious place, they'd never think to look for us there. What wizard would ever hide in a place where magic isn't even allowed?"

Vianna, who had been unusually quiet and distracted thinking about Ned's disappearance, was snapped back to reality as the others began suggesting going to the castle. "That's actually pretty clever..." she said, her voice barely audible.

Victor turned to his sister, then to Vince, and finally to Jack. "We've already decided-- well, maybe not us... but..." He couldn't tell them that it had been Ned himself who had suggested they go to France. But he knew they would give him hell if he didn't explain his reasoning. Victor thought about it for a moment and sighed. "It's true the kidnappers would probably not think of looking for us there, but we don't know what they're capable of. What if whatever type of dark magic it is they use works even inside the castle? We'd be left completely defenseless; it's too risky."

Jack shook his head in disbelief at Vinces little stutter over talking about him backing Jack up. This therapy was meant to have worked. Did it appear to of? NO. Rrrrright, that was a good Vincie. No second session for you. In your stride. Jack listened as Vince argued his case, and flicked his head to the side thinking he had heard something come from Vianna. But left it, because it seemed she hadn't said anything that he could have heard.

"Nice way of thinking Victor.. BUTTT." Oh.. Stop Jack, stop. No more. Just NO. "If it it was dark magic that could be used in Hogwarts then surely we would have stayed there and they would have came to us. And captured us all. Instead of nearly killing us all. Do you not see the logic in my idea? It's rather simple." Childlike simple.

"We don't know if they've been after us since we were in Hogwarts, Tamworth, it all started in Italy," said Victor, frowning slightly at Jack. It had taken him a moment to really understand what the boy was saying, as he found his speech rather difficult to comprehend.

"Look-- whatever, we'll have a vote," said Vince suddenly, starting to get rather annoyed with just hovering in mid-air having this conversation they should have had before moving hours ago. "Who wants to go to France?" he asked, looking at the group overall.

Victor merely crossed his arms and waited for the others to give their vote, as his was already quite obvious - pro-France. Vianna furrowed her brows slightly, her eyes gazing down absentmindedly as she thought about it. "I'm not sure... I mean, do any of us speak French? And what are we going to do? Stay at a hotel like we did in Italy?" she asked, looking back up at the group. "Maybe there's people at Hogwarts, maybe some teachers have stayed or there's someone from the ministry that can help u--"

"The ministry's corrupt, we can't trust them," said Victor before he could really think about what he was saying. His eyes then widened slightly at this slip-up, and he looked away distractedly. Vianna frowned, beginning to grow confused.

Jack scowled once more and fiddled with one bit of his hair. "Can we get a move on yeah, cos I dont like flying, annnd HOVERING is killing me." He grimaced. "Okay, how about.. who would rather HOgwarts?" His hand shot up form his hair and he grinned, in Victors direction. PLEEEASE let someone vote with him.

Vianna gave Jack a sympathetic look as the boy expressed his horror before asking who would rather go to Hogwarts and shooting his hand up in the air. Vianna hesitated, glancing at her brothers for a moment before turning to Jack and then back again to her brothers. She thought about it for a moment, unsure on what to do. Vince, meanwhile, had let his hand rise up in the air. Victor sighed and turned to the rest of the group, waiting for their opinion. He didn't like this democracy going on, whatever happened to the dictatorship he had been enjoying before?

The siblings exchanged wide-eyed looks as, out of nowhere, the rain began falling on them like someone emptying a giant bucket of water right above the group. "Let's go!" said Vianna, glancing back at her little squirrel for a moment before inclining downward at top speed; Fluffy curled in a corner of his little cage, horrified by the speed, height, and pouring rain. The boys followed their sister down, barely able to keep their eyes open with the air and water stinging at their eyes.

"Well, I'm with Victor." Kayla said simply. She had the suspicion that Victor, at least, knew something she didn't, but she sided with him anyway. Hogwarts just didn't seem like a very good idea to her. But before she could say another thing, rain was pouring down onto them, and she followed the others flying away, fast.

Jamie wasn't sure what to say, so said nothing at the moment, not that he could right now anyway, 'cause they were now flying to fast to get away from the rain.

MEH. How did he get this thing to go downwards? Looking down after the others, he slowly leant that way to get a better shielding from the rain droplets.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

WOW, he didnt like flying, but this was something new. Somehting nicely new. Reaching the floor, just after the others got there, he chuckled. "That was scary.."
