Tay made herself a piece of toast, too lazy to make more of anything else. "Your welcome." She nibbled on her toast then whispered to her brother, "Do you have pumpkin juice?" She didnt know if Maxwell told Amelia about anything wizardry.

Maxwell shook his head at his sister. "No, you won't...come on i have a huge apartment at the end of the hall...away from everyone else.." He knew she liked her privacy. "Come on, it'll be fun...free rent and junk!" He said putting some of his food on her plate, he didn't want her to want for food, he'd be fine. He never ate breakfast anyway. He looked at Amelia and shot her a look as if to say sorry for how awkward this now was. Then Tay was whispering about Pumpkin juice, they must seem like weirdos. "Yeah...in the fridge.." He said, it wasn't technically a 'magical' drink...just that muggles didn't really drink it..so maybe he could pass it of as a European thing..

Tay sighed, "I can pay for rent." She scrapped the food back onto his plate, "No, you eat the food. You are a growing boy." She laughed and kissed his cheek, "I dont eat much."

Maxwell shook his head. "But you don't have to...it's a big city and i'll feel better knowing you're close and safe." He didn't fight her as she put the food back on his plate. "I'm a grown man, Tay.." He chuckled.

Tay sighed, "But I can pay for rent." She gave him a look that says 'i dont need charity'. "You may be a grown man BUT you need a lot of food." She ruffled her brother's hair with some affection.

growing boy. Amelia chuckled a bit as she leaned onto the counter and let the two talk the awkwardness away.

Maxwell sighed at her stubbornness, also she as treating him like a child in front of Amelia.. "But you shouldn't have to...please? It'll be good to live near family.." He said and laughed. "I eat enough...i don't even normally eat breakfast.."

Tay pouted, "Fine." She hugged her brother, "Okay. She took his plate and started to do the dishes.

Maxwell nodded. "Good..." He hugged her back. "Thanks, Sis...but i have a dishwasher...you could just throw them in there." He said and sent a quick smile at Amelia, was she his girlfriend? He wasn't sure....they hadn't been on a date yet..so maybe not? He looked back to his sister. "Ohh, are we still up for that tour of the city tonight?" He asked.

"So? I prefer washing them with my hands... or do you prefer to be alone?" She gave him a raised eyebrow look. "Ummm if you aint too busy..."

Maxwell laughed. "No, i mean if that's what you wanna do be my guest..." He said ignoring the raised eyebrow, she thought she was sooo funny, surely he'd hear about this from their mother. "i have nothing planned tonight...it'll be fun.."

Taylor laughed, "Then I will." She stuck her tongue out and went back to the dishes, "Okay, sounds fun." She smiled at him.

seeing as the two siblings we're yacking away about whatever. Amelia heard her phone go off from max's room "oh. excuse me." she said softly of she quickly slipped out of the room for a moment.

Maxwell saw Amelia slip off and looked back at is sister. "Hey, i'll be back in a bit...we'll talk about this okay?" He said knowing he was going to hear about it when Amelia left and then he walked back to his room, after her.

Tay sighed and nodded, watching him go.

Amelia walked into the room and found her phone on the dresser.. 13 new texts. she rolled her eyes.. all from her friends wondering where she was last night. Amelia ignored them all.

Maxwell walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Hey..." He said and kissed her neck gently. "So..i have a question.." He said softly, almost as if a whisper.

Amelia jumped slightly as she felt his hands wrap around her "goodness max, you scared me." she chuckled "ask away." she said locking her phone and putting it in her back pocket

Maxwell chuckled. "Sorry..i'm light on my feet what can i say?" He kissed her neck a little more. "What exactly are...we?...are we dating...or?" He asked, unsure of what she wanted.

Ha. she leaned her head back onto his shoulder as he spoke... are they dating!? o.O she had no idea.. he never asked really. "ugh.. I dont know max. i was never asked really."

Maxwell spun her around in his arms, so they were facing each other now. "Well, do you want to be asked? Or are you just leading me on?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, toying with her a bit. Hands at her hips he looked into her blue eyes, yes, for now at least he wanted for be with her. But what did she want? A date? To just be friends? What?

one minute she was giggling to herself the next she was spun around and she set her hands on his shoulders. she let a sly smile play on her face. "well, if you want to ask me.. but i could be leading you on you never know max." she giggled and ran her finger over the outside of his ear

Maxwell chuckled a little. "You're cute..." He liked her sense of humor. "Well, how about this? You meet me on top of the Empire State Building tonight at midnight...we can talk about it there, deal?" He asked, his eyes focused on hers. He knew the building wouldn't be open that late, but he could do something about that...hehe.

"At Midnight!? was this boy mad "the building is closed then max." duh did he know nothing of new york?

Maxwell smirked at her, a crazy look in his eyes. "I know when it closes...just...promise me you'll show up okay?" He asked and kissed her gently, but passionately. How could she resist that?
