Maxwell held her close. "Don't ever be sorry, that's not your fault and i don't blame you...thank you for telling me though...i'll be more careful." He said with a real smile and kissing her forehead. "Can we just lay here for a little bit and maybe talk..." He said wanting to talk but not sure what about...he wondered if he ever told her about his life in America...it wasn't a pretty story, but it was something about him she didn't know.

Minerva took his hands and wrapped them around her, she liked the idea of cuddling and talking and she could probably surprise him a bit in the mean time. She smiled looking at him. "Why don't you tell me about you. I know who your dad is, I know your mom, but like what about you sisters is it? Or where exactly did you live in America?"

Maxwell raised an eye brow a little and felt something stirring but ignored it. "Well, one of my sister's is in America now...you'll meet her when we go to New York and the other is at Beaubaton, she didn't want to leave her friends for Christmas...I miss her, we've been pretty close since she found out she was a witch." He said and then thought about America and his time there. "Well, he lived in upstate New York, in Hyde Park. It's a very small spot near the mountains..." He sighed. "But i didn't see it much...i spent most of my time in my room, you see the muggle my Mom married hated magic...when i started showing signs....he started to lock me in there...he said i was a freak...my mom worked for the American version of the ministry and wasn't home a lot and so she didn't really know...Helios and I lived in there together for years...I was trapped...i had no windows...no sunlight, nothing...i guess that's why i don't like the country...i feel so isolated...and trapped...I need the city...i always felt safe there..."

Minerva listened at he talked about his sisters they seemed nice, but her mood went to shock stricken as he talked about his stepfather or ex stepfather thank goodness. She felt herself pull his arms tighter around her and turned to her side to face him better. "Well I can see why, that's horrible Maxwell"she said as she moved her hands to wrap them across him kissing his neck.

Maxwell nodded. "It was...I still have nightmares of him...he treated me like an Animal and he treated Helios worse...Last night was the first time i've slept the night through without waking up..." He said putting one hand on her waist.

Minerva nuzzled into a little nook under his arm. She felt horrible hearing that he was having nightmares. "Maxwell that's horrible I'm so sorry. So they come every night or just some nights?"

Maxwell held her close. "Every night...Last term Helios would just sing me back to sleep but he hasn't been there this term...but last night i didn't have one...I slept soundly all night..." He said very grateful for her.

"Well I'm glad I could help, but honey I can't be there every night and I hate that you have these dreams. Is there anything I could to that would help keep them away?" She looked up kissing his shoulder and then his neck feeling awful that there was nothing she could do to help get rid of these dreams.

Maxwell shrugged. "I don't know...maybe take a nap or two with me in my spot...i don't really sleep in the common room most nights anyway..." He said knowing he couldn't hide why he didn't sleep anymore and why he had so much time to catch up on homework...it's what he did instead of sleeping, he thought she might approve.

Minerva looked at him and frowned she didn't want him to have bad dreams and she didn't want him losing sleep over them. She traced his arm with her hand while she thought, but she couldn't come up with any answers. "I guess naps wouldn't be a bad thing as long as we are not missing class." She smiled then pulled her self up on her hands to be able to look at him. She looked into his eyes. "When I came in last night you said my name, you were dreaming of me. Is there anyway that could help?" She didn't know how to alter his dreams or anything, but if he was thinking about her maybe it could help.

"Well, i was thinking on weekends, that way we don't miss any classes." He said smiling and then nodded. "I think so...i was thinking about you before bed...maybe if i do that i wouldn't have nightmares...maybe i'd dream about you.." He said sounding as if that were a perfect idea. He moved under her and kissed her neck softly.

Minerva smiled as he thought her idea might work and then smiled even bigger as he kissed her neck. She couldn't help but lean into his lips a bit and sigh happily. In all her better judgement she knew they needed to get up and moving before Joan woke up, but her mind was saying it, but the rest of her was staying right where she was.

Maxwell knew they needed to get up, but he had time, it was only ten his mother wouldn't be up till at least 11. He continued kissing her neck with her over him and then he noticed the bruises from the bludger weeks earlier, not as bad as they were clearly, they were nearly gone but he kissed each bruise once and moved to her lips. He pulled back. "Can i hug you now? and kiss you the way i wanted to the night of that match?" He asked wanting to show her how he wanted to greet her.

Minerva smiled as she kissed her, what was it about him that drove her crazy like this and made her want more. He shocked her by kissing the now faded bruises from her Quidditch match and then she laughed a bit, "Maxwell that was weeks ago, I was healed shortly after the tears, yes you can hug me as tight as you want." The kissing part she didn't tell him, instead she leaned in and kissed him passionately to show him he could.

Maxwell smirked and kissed her back and threw his arms around her, pulling her as close as he could and holding her like if he let her go she would be in danger or never come back, gripping her back. He kissed her more passionately than he ever had with every bit of love he had showing, every bit of longing and desire for her.

Minerva couldn't help but smile and giggled a bit as he pulled her close, but she continued to kiss him feeling the love between them and with every kiss she knew she was falling more and more for him. It felt strange to feel so close to someone and to feel all these wants she had never had before.

Maxwell was smiling through the kisses as well, feeling completely vulnerable and open to her. All his wants and needs for her out in the open. He sat up and pulled her onto his lap as he kissed her, feeling something stir, he needed her closer, gripping her tight he dug his fingers into the skin on her back, careful not to hurt her.

Minerva put her arms around him tightly and pulled her self as close as she could. She moved a bit, not believing how much she needed him, how dependent she was becoming on him. She didn't think she could trust anyone like this or be close to someone as she felt towards him.

Maxwell kissed her neck. He knew without a doubt that he needed her more than he ever needed anyone, he knew she was starting to depend on him and he would never let her down..while he was kissing her passionately he was being gentle, there was nothing like having her arm around him.

Minerva felt her lips become empty and she pouted for a second until she realized he started kissing her neck she smiled and sighed happily. "I love you" she felt a smile form on her face again realizing how happy she was to be with him.

Maxwell pulled back from her neck. "I love you too..." He said taking her head in his hands and kissing her again, falling back and grabbing her hips. He'd never felt more right than in every minute he spent with her. He let out a sigh, content about where he was and who he was with.

Minerva laughed as she felt herself fall. "Maxwell what if Joan come up again?" She was starting to feel nervous again, but didn't stop smiling. She looked into his eyes and felt her heart skip. She moved her hand to his face and rubbed his cheek. She kissed his cheek and smiled. Why did this feel so right to her, shouldn't she be freaking out by now.

Maxwell looked into her eyes. "She won't...she'll get tea first...I think she had something to do today...I'm sure she'll remove the age-line and go to the kitchen to get tea...she'd expect you up here, she won't come back up." He said reassuring her and kissing her neck one time gently.

Minerva looked at him and bit her lip. She was a bit nervous, but didn't want to end their time together either. Then when he kissed her neck she melted and put Joan out of her head. She gave him a playful look and kissed him again, moving her hand away from his cheek.

Maxwell felt his heart skip as she bit her lip and he returned the look and kissed her back, he needed to feel closer to her, closer than ever.
