Dr. Langley strolled down the corridor, paperwork in hand. And what a pile of it. He read through one of the patient records that sat on the top of the pile as he walked toward his office. But his attention was diverted. He looked up and put the papers on the reception desk. "Could you have the taken to my office, please?" he asked the receptionist and smiled when she nodded at him. He diverted his attention back to the people at the entrance. "Here, let me help" he offered.

Ad looked up and felt herself move back a little, her instant fear of hospitals kicking in. She raised her blood-stained sleeve to her mouth again and coughed a little, trying not to let anymore blood escape.
