Ad scowled at Justin. "No" she said. She felt her heart being torn to shreds. Then she saw the flash of evil in his once clear eyes. Her eyes widened. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. "You...you...you just proposed to me, Justin..." she looked up at him, her black eyes cold. "Why did you have to break a perfectly good heart? And yes. You do know me. We've known each other since we were little" she said, her voice cold as ice. She felt her legs buckle and she fell to her knees at Justin's feet.

Justin narrowed his eyes. He scanned her from top to bottom. "Don't push my buttons kid" he warned. He watched as her eyes widened. She looked like she didn't want to believe this was happening. But he didn't even know who it was so he couldn't tell why. "No I didn't. Why would I propose to someone I don't even know?" he replied. Why would he? That was obsurd. "I didn't break anyone's heart. I have no heart's to break. Namely because I know nobody" he said. "I don't even know where I am let alone who you are. And for the record, me and my dad have lived alone my entire life. No one came in or out of that house, we don't know anybody" he said. His eyes followed the girl as she felt to his feet, Was she begging. He smirked. He could take advantage of this.

It would be so sad if Justin remembers everything after this post...
 

Ad cried into her hands. "Justin James Hendricks, my name is Adriane Wisteria Charday. I have been your partner in crime since I was three, and you were...six or seven. Just five minutes ago, you proposed to me. And now you can't remember me." she said softly. She looked up at him. She knew exactly what was going through his mind. "I am begging you only to try to remember" she grabbed his arm and pulled herself up.

Then her anger, sadness, and frustration got the best of her. She ripped the beautiful ring off her finger and threw it at him. "Forget it. Literally. I hope you never remember any of this Justin. Go jump a cliff for all I care. Just don't remember me. You just..." she trailed off before making her way back to the manor. She entered the building andimmediately collapsed on the couch, sobbing. He couldn't remember her. Therefore, he didn't love her anymore. Whatever. "It's not like I love him anymore anyways" she said just loud enough for Court and Ginny to hear.

Justin listened intently, narrowing his eyes slightly every so often. N'awwww. She was crying. "What did we go through together? Maybe that'll help me remember" he said holding his arm out and pulling the girl now known as Adriane Charday up off the ground.

O dear. Now she was furious with him. He caught the ring and looked down at it as she walked away from him. He put it in his pocket and followed her inside. He looked at the other two girls. He knew one but not the other. "Look, I'm sorry if I upset you. I just don't fully know who you are. I only know Courtney 'cus she's my cousin. But your name rings a bell. But only from Cass. Only because I vaguely remember her having a friend called Adriane. But I don't remember ever knowing you properly. I'm really sorry, Adriane. If I could remember, believe me I would take back everything I said to you out there but nothing clicks. It just doesn't make sense" he explained, now crouched down in front of the girl, thinking of taking her hand. "I'm really sorry" he added before getting up and leaving again. At least he'd got the chance to apologise.

Court looked at Ad as she came running inside crying. Then Justin followed. "Ad, don't push him too much. Just tell him something that may ring a bell. Like what happened last year" she told her, not making eye contact with the stranger that had seemed to take the form of Justin.

Ad looked up at 'Justin' and took a deep, shaky breath. Great. Now she had to explain EVERYTHING. "Wait. Don't leave. Yes. I was Cass' closest friend. I was your neighbor for the longest time, but then we moved and we live next to your...I don't know her relation to you anymore. I used to. A pretty, blond woman named AnnaLeah. We went through a lot. I don't even know where to start to explain. Just last summer, the house you practically grew up in collapsed, and Bradin and Cass died. I confessed to you then that I loved you, and that I had for over a year or so. And you said you loved me back. And we've been dating since. Just...try to remember, Justin" she pleaded softly, and then an idea clicked in her head. She was the only one who called her JJ, and that's how it had been for the longest time. "JJ..." she said, desperatley trying to hide the smirk she got whenever she used that dreaded nickname. "JJ...you used call me Addy, and get some sort of facial injury. That's where this came from" she said, gently touching a faint scar across his nose, a result of nine-year-old Justin calling a six-year-old Adriane "Addy".

Justin listened to everything the girl said. He looked at the floor then back at Adriane. Bradin had died in a car crash. That was what he knew anyway. "How did the house collapse?" he asked not letting on that he didn't believe it killed his cousins. Then she asked him to try and remember. "Believe me I'm trying my best" he told her softly. JJ. Only one person called him that. His hand dropped by his side and his eyes fixed on hers. "Addy" he said softly. His smile sort of reappeared. He moved back a little but then relaxed as she touched him. He put his finger on his nose and ran it over the scar. "I think I have about three more scars" he said.

Adriane watched Justin intently. Then he really hit a nerve. "The ceiling in the kitchen collapsed...and it caused a chain reaction. It was a tragic ending for two lives" she said, trying...and failing epically...not to burst into tears. She looked at him. H really did seem to be trying to remember. "I know you are" she said. Then he remembered. "Yeah. But since last summer, you've been the only one allowed to call me Addy" she said, hugging him tightly. She pulled away as he touched his face. "Five more actually" she giggled softly. She hugged him again. "Justin..." she whispered softly.

Justin shook his head. "But Bradin died in a car crash. My dad told me that and he'd never lie. Not in a million year. 'Specially not to me" he replied. Why was he having a hard time believing the collapse caused Bradin and Cass' deaths? It made no sense. He couldn't even remember it. Then she was crying. O boy! "I'm just going on what my dad told me here" he informed her. Now she was hugging him. "I guess I'm lucky not to have any more scars" he said. Five scars? Wow! That was a lot. "I lost count" he replied, a slight giggle behind his words. Then she hugged him again. He smiled and put his arms around her waist, remembering fully who she was.

Ad shook her head back. "No. When his house collapsed, me, you, Bray, and Cass were hospitalized for the longest time. But Bradin and Cass never got back out" she said, wiping her eyes. This was hard to try to explain. "I know you are, but I'm telling you the cold, hard truth. I was there" she pleaded. She buried her face in his shoulder. "Yes you are" she half-joked. She sniffled as he slid his arms around her waist. "I'm sure you did, Justin" she said, happy that he remembered.

Justin sighed and sat down beside Ad. "So my dad's lied? Or he's just trying to protect me from the truth" he replied, not half surprised. He looked to the floor, hating the fact that he'd still not got the truth. It sucked. "I wanna believe you. I'm just confused" he replied, a half-smile on his face. He smiled when she almost joked.

Ad nodded, taking Justin's hand. "Yes, basically, he did" she said softly. Alex wouldn't go out of his way to protect Justin from anything. She put two fingers under Justin's chin and pulled his face up. "I know you do. And I'm confused as well" she agreed. Then she scowled. "JJ, don't you half-smile at me. You know that"[/b] she reminded him.

Justin looked at the floor and pulled his hand away from Ad. "If he lied he did it to protect me" he replied. His dad wouldn't lie for the sake of it. No way. Justin's eyes filled with fury. Was Ad accusing his dad of being a compulsive liar? Here she went with JJ again. Grr. It got annoying after a while. But he wasn't in the mood for smiling fully.

Ad blinked. She didn't like the new Justin. Old Justin wouldn't mind showing her that he loved her. He'd hold her hand in public, and hug her tightly for no reason...but now...it was a totally different person. She turned away, blinking away her remaining tears. "No, Justin..." There was no point explaining anymore. She looked back and saw his eyes. There was that weird look in them again. She stood up, ready to leave. She was ticked. "Old Justin was so much sweeter. This Justin is cold, hard, and uncaring, almost. Don't try to get through to me until you can get yourself right. I'm trying to explain. I wasn't accusing your father of lying, but I know him for who he really is. If you want to think differently, then fine. I don't care" she snapped, flicking a red tress over her shoulder, her blue eyes sparking in anger and sadness.

Justin narrowed his eyes. "I think I know my own dad. He does everything for my own benefit" he told her. Then she got mad. He shook his head. "There is no old Justin. You don't even know my dad so how can judge him. What's he ever done to you? Aside from nothing. Just leave him alone. And it's not me that needs sorting out. You're the one making me think badly of my dad. I don't know what you think he's done but I can assure you, he won't have done it" he replied.

AD turned back to him quickly, visibly wincing and nearly collapsing as the pain in her leg started to really kick in. "What did I JUST say? You're not gonna get through to me like this. There was an old Justin. You just randomly started acting like this, Just. So STOP. I'm fed up with it already. You can keep the stupid ring, and believe whatever you want to believe. You wouldn't believe what Alex has done to me. He caused the majority of these scars, Justin. But if you think I'm lying, then okay. I. Don't. CARE" she said, fresh tears running down her face, only this time, it was from frustration that he thought she was lying.

Justin cocked an eyebrow and narrowed his eyes. "It's not an act. There's only ever been one Justin Hendricks, me. And if you wanna find another one in me, go ahead. Try it. But I can guarantee it will never work. There's only one Justin. And my dad never caused those scars. He doesn't even know who you are let alone what happened to you. Stop trying to make my dad out to be some monster. He's not" he replied, now standing up. He was furious. He reached into his pocket and took his phone out. "Still believe my dad's horrible?" he asked showing Ad a photo of him and his dad looking closer than ever.

Ad felt pain, as if she was being stabbed multiple times. She looked down. No blood was seeping through the bandages. But her legs buckled beneath her anyways. She collapsed on the floor and cried from pain and from being upset. "I don't care anymore. So just stop. Before I get hurt, just drop it" Then he brought out a photo. She looked closely. She might as well pretend. She, like Cass, was a great actress. "Okay. I'm sorry. Can we just drop it now?" she asked softly, not wanting to get hurt by Alex, or worse, Justin. But she knew it was about to happen.

Justin narrowed his eyes and shrugged. "Depends, are you gonna quit making my dad out to be a monster?" he asked. He was fed up of it and on the verge of flipping. And he'd do it as well. But he didn't want to hurt anybody. Though he could see it happening. Soon. "Like I said, you gonna leave my dad alone?" he asked again. He wasn't in the mood.

Ad nodded, in too much pain to do anything. "Yes. I'll stop" she said. She was about to faint from the amount of pain she was in. She looked up, trying to see old Justin in those dark, furious eyes. She imagined she saw a small spark. Maybe of sadness...and apology. But she shrugged it off. "I'll leave your father alone. I promise" she swore. She would drop the subject. But she knew that this new Justin was the total opposite of HER Justin. And since HER Justin never got violent with her, this Justin was bound to.

Justin gave Ad a cold look. He turned away before his anger got the better of him. And it was going to if he kept looking at Ad. He didn't want to hurt her physically. Ever. "I've gotta go" he said. He didn't even look at any of the girls. He just walked out the door hoping that they wouldn't come after him. But knowing Ad, she probably would try to. Just so she could try to get the Justin she thought was inside him out.

Ad struggled to get up. She finally managed it, despite the pain. Tears still running down her face, she softly sang to Justin a song she had created in her mind at that very minute. "As tears spill from these deep blue eyes/You finally see what I've been keeping on the inside..." she took a deep breath before continuing. "You tore my soul open/Ripped my heart to shreds/I'll still love you/No matter what was said..." she choked on a sob.

Justin suddenly came to an abrupt stop at the door. He turned on one foot and listened to the lyrics. His eyes went back to normal and a smile appeared across his face. He put his hand in his pocket and took the ring out of his pocket. "Such an idiot Justin" he though aloud knowing Ad would here him. He took a deep breath and ascended to the living room again, his head bowed in disgrace for what he'd done to Ad. He held his hand out, the ring in his palm. "I believe this belongs to you" he said.

Ad blinked back tears when Justin returned into the room. She softly smiled. "Sometimes you can be" she said softly. Then he held out the ring. She took the ring out of his palm and threw her arms around him in a hug. This was the Justin she knew. She saw it in his eyes. "Justin..." she whispered, overcome by sheer joy that he returned to HER Justin.

Justin giggled as Ad replied to his own insult. "I have a feeling I'll be an idiot quite often though" he said honestly. Then she took the ring and hugged him. He put his arms around her waist and rested his forhead against her shoulder. "I'm really sorry that happened" he said.

Ad smiled. "I found a solution for the time being" she said. Well, she had. She smiled and rested her head on his. "It's okay, Justin" she whispered.
