| | This is the official sequel to P&P. The majority of the 'old' characters know the storyline. I am afraid that no new characters are avaliable for this RP, so I am sorry but nobody new can join.
This wont be starting untill tommorow, but seeing as I had a title in my head, I sussed it would be best to open it now. Plus I would like everyone just to put up a brief character analysis and explain how their character/s have developed up to this point.
If anyone comes up with a better title, then tell me. I'd like everyone's thoughts on it, as i didn't really think about it much. |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Kristi laughed. "You mean aside from the thing you ride? And, I really do need to pick these things up so we don't step on them. THis room isn't big enough for two people AND clutter," she said, wiping her hands after having put everything away. "Alright, so, I think we should be able to fit you in right there."
She yawned as she pointed and then sat down on the edge of her bed, her arms hanging losely at her side. "So, did you have a good time?"

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine Looking uneasy, she shook her head awkwardly and replied, "Yes and no." Jumping onto a bed she'd magiced opposite Kristi's, she added, "It's strange, knowing you've only got so much time left, yet not quite believing it. The question arises as to what to do, in that situation. Be closer than you ever were, or push yourself as far away as possible. I fear I did the latter." she sighed heavily and then tried to think up something else before their conversation could become completely doomed to misery. "So, the Easter Ball tommorow, who are you going with?" |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic She nodded as Marcella spoke about not knowing what to do with the time they had left to be together. If they became close than they ever were, it would be that much harder to let go when he went back to prison. But, if they pushed away from each other, they'd be left regretting that they hadn't taken advantage of the time they had.
Kristi sighed and scooted up on the bed so that she could rest her back against the wall. "I'm not going with anyone," she replied. "If you recall from your first year here, I had a tendency to make myself invisible. I'm afraid that's come back to haunt me now that I no longer have to keep watch for my father... I don't think I want to bother going to the Ball anyway."

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic "I don't know. I haven't seen Archie since Dumbledore came out of the Hospital Wing and told us something had gone down and that you and Snape were alive. As for Nicholas... On the rare occassions that I even bother going to class, he hasn't bothered to recognize my existance," Kristi responded, ignoring the fact that when she did go to class, she was too distracted to notice anything or anyone. "I think the last time we've actually spoken (and, come to think of it, probably the only time we've spoken) was last term. He was the one to inform me of your relationship with Snape."
Kristi became pensive and started rambling. It had been so long since she'd had anyone to talk to. It wouldn't have bothered her but, the thoughts which weighed heavily on her mind would cause even the most solitary of people to start babbling nonsense. "I think he was a bit confused when I became violently ill after he told me. Why is it that everyone assumes I've had a sordid affair with Snape when I become distraught over the two of you? Darrin wouldn't believe me either when I told him there was nothing like that between Snape and myself," Kristi made a disgusted face. "That is just wrong on so many levels. Even if he wasn't my father, he's my teacher, for Merlin's sake."
She sighed and looked over at Marcella. Putting a hand to her mouth, realizing what she had just said, "I'm so sorry, Marcella. I didn't mean.... Ignore me. I want you and Snape to have each other. There's nothing wrong with the two of you. I may not know much about love but, I like to consider myself a keen observer. The two of you love each other despite everything you've both been through. You deserve to be with one another. You deserve some happiness, even if it's only for a short while."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine She mused over what Kristi said and replied, "Well maybe Nicholas is the best of options then but heck, you barely even got to know him. He must be a decent enough guy if he told you about errr...us," she said, not wanting to linger over the top. "He obviously had his best intentions at heart for you."
She listened to Kristi's reaction to finding out about the love affair with her father and became increasingly worried, her stomach proceeded to tie itself into knots. She knew this could be going nowhere good. Hearing her possibly rhetorical question, she added, "Well, you spent so much time with him and no-one else. You never had any friends, you were always an outsider. Even you have to admit that in itself looked suspicious, coupled with the fact that Snape was and rarely is close to anyone."
Early on, she caught onto Kristi's train of thought, but instead of becoming angered, she merely accepted the girls criticisms. "See, that's the reason you don't see it. You can't look beyond formal labels, society's patriarchal way of trying to fit us into categories, dictate to us who we are. We can't help what we feel anymore than I can help the fact that he's your father. And Snape's never been my teacher, only my minder, my guardian. If I had once been in a classroom with him then I can assure you that things would have been very different. But doesn't it strike you as odd that Dumbledore didn't require me to be taught by him? He strictly forbade it because he did not want any of my classmates assuming we were closer than pupil teacher, he feared a father daughter relationship might emerge and become evident among fellow pupils. I know how ironic that is..." she added, predicting what Kristi might say, "But it's the truth. Dumbledore wasn't eactly jumping for joy when he found out either. I've never had him look at me so diappointedly and it hurt, Kristi. It hurt to feel like I was being punished for finally having something go right in my life. No-one, no-one has ever considered my feelings, or my thoughts and I'm sorry to say this but I'm not going to abandon the man who saved me from myself just because he happens to be your father. Without him I would have given up on living long ago, it's only now that I'm starting to realise that perhaps suicide was the Gods intended fate for me."
Shaking her head, feeling herself cry, she listened to Kristi's overly enthusistic claims but knew they came only from her brain and not her heart. "There's no point in telling me you're happy now Kristi, it's useless. Because we'll never be happy. He's getting locked up again and I'll live my life without him. The day after he leaves, I'm leaving for Norway and I'm never coming back. Ever." |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Kristi frowned as Marcella spoke and felt awful that she had been so transparent and that Marcella was right, her heart wasn't really behind her encouragement of their relationship. She watched as tears threatened to cascade down Marcella's cheeks. Not really knowing what to say, Kristi decided to just ignore the relationship issue. "Well, Nicholas wasn't really telling me for my own good, he was more shocked that I hadn't known. It was the day Darrin brought you back from Durmstrang. But, anyway, I don't know; he's probably taking someone already and I don't want to ask," she said, blushing a little at the thought of actually going to the ball with someone. "So, what are you going to do in Norway?" she asked, abruptly changing the subject.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine "You're right about Nick," she said, wiping at her eyes. "He never was a nice person really. Probably did it out spite. But still, he might've changed. His intentions can't have been that cruel, maybe he was just credulous to the idea of you not knowing. You should ask though. You'd be the envy of most of the girls in Slytherin; next to Draco Malfoy, he's the most swooned after male in Slytherin. And you deserve to have some fun."
"Norway...? Haven't thought on it. Live peacefully, do nothing. I have enough money put aside and I got the impression from your father that he intends to have us both provided for while he's....you know.." |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic "The most swooned after male," Kristi laughed. "Well, then I don't stand much of chance, now do I? Though, if he doesn't have a date and said he'd go with me, it would be rather fun to see the looks on the other girl's faces."
She smiled mischeiveously, "I think you might've talked me into it."
"But, seriously, it doesn't surprise me in the least that my father would provide for us. He's got a stash of cash in Gringotts that noone would ever suspect him of having. I'm not sure where he got it... In fact, I'm not sure I'm even supposed to knwo about it but... Well, one thing I do know about my mother is this: he promised her that he would take care of me. He takes that promise very seriously," she said, retreating into her thoughts for a moment. "And we would be safer together. It only makes sense. But, we'd go crazy just sitting in that house doing nothing."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine Giggling, she said, "Yeah it would but you shouldn't put yourself down so much. You may be Severus' daughter, but you've been blessed with clear olive skin which you should be grateful for. You're far prettier than half the moronic twits that the majority of the male population drool over."
"His money..." she mused, "I can only think that Voldemort rewards his servants with gifts of money and, over the years, he must have accumulated alot in wages as a teacher. Judging by his wardrobe he does not buy clothes regularly, or even anually for that matter and most other necessities are provided for by the school. Not to mention the money your mother must have accumulated with him, he's been told to look after you, perhaps that is why he is so tight fisted when it comes to spending money on himself." |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic "Well, however he has it, he has it and we certainly won't have to worry about that. But, I really will go insane if all we're going to do is sit around, rotting in that cottage. There has to be something we can do. What about your father? If he wasn't around, there really wouldn't be a threat and you could just go on and live a relatively normal life. And my father wouldn't worry about him finding out about me, though I've never understood why You-know-who would care about me. I mean, so long as my father wasn't found out as a spy, there really isn't any reason he'd want to come after me, is there?"

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine Taking a deep breath, she said, "I hope you're not suggesting I go looking for him. Last time I came anywhere near the bloke he tried to have me snuff it. No, I don't plan on ever seeing him again, if I can help it."
Dusting her hands, biting her lip, she replied, "Finding out about you might have something to do with your father's double dealings. He knows about us, so if he knew about you, that'd give him a way of getting back at Snape, the servant who did him over. Rather than going for him, which might prove boring to someone so insanely evil as Voldemort, he'd probably delight in kidnapping and torturing you, knowing what agony it would put him in." |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic "I suppose. Though, kidnapping you might prove far more useful in that pursuit. Afterall, look what happened in the Hospital Wing. If it had been me instead of you, I doubt he would have been..." she shook her head. She really didn't want to go down this road again. "I didn't mean that you should go looking for your father. I merely meant that, if we could find some way to defeat him... It's pure fancy, I know. Dumbledore hasn't been able to defeat him, or come up with any brilliant plans, so it's not like we'd be any use... But, were he to be defeated, and you were safe, what would you do? Where would you go?"

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine "Would have been so courageous, you mean?" she asked, knowing the subject was sensative. "Kristi, you're his daughter for Merlin's sake! He would have died before he'd let anything even come near to touching you. You yourself said he values his promise to your mother more than his own life."
Thinking on her own father, she replied, "Ironically, as much as I don't want to be, I probably am one of the only ones who can rid the world of my father. Not that I'd like to try. And if he did somehow die, I'd like to stay here, not in the castle, it's suffocated me for far too long. Ideally, I'd love to move back over to Norway, permanently, with your father. But, as that couldn't happen, I'd love to teach and just live in a cottage somewhere in the country, in the summers. I'm not like my father; I couldn't go for a wild lifestyle." |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Kristi decided to drop the subject of her father. "What would you want to teach?" she asked, wondering what she would do after Hogwarts if she had the chance to do anything with the rest of her life, aside from going into hiding.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine "Put it this way, I'd either end up teaching or working for Dumbledore and the Order. Both options lead to working with him and I figured what with my life history, I'd rather spend my letter years dealing with kids, not death-eaters. I mean, they simply have to be easier to handle."
Getting up, she started to sift through her various dress robes, muttering about what to wear in the mean time and pestering Kristi to have a look through her stuff too. |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic "I don't know. Sometimes I think my father looks worse after a full day of classes than after a night out with the Death Eaters," she said, laughing.
She got up and started looking through her stuff. She started laughing again as she rifled through her various robes and finally came to her dress robes. "Okay, Marcella, tell me what you think of these, they are the only three sets of dress robes I have," she said, holding three black dress robes up to herself in succession. The first set at least covered her knees and part of her shins, the second set cut off just below the knees and the third didn't even do that much. "I think I may have outgrown them all."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine "Dont be so silly..." she said, grabbing the last, forcing Kristi to stand up straight and holding the dress robe against her body. Waving her wand, Marcella had the robe appear on Kristi. Getting onto her knees, she tugged at the bottom of the skirt and lengthened it slightly so that it at least would cover her backside. Rubbing her hands together, she chuckled, "There, now you should have no trouble getting Nicholas to go with you."
She sat cross legged on the floor, fiddling with the neck of her dress robe, wishing to lower it slightly, she sighed, almost in a mocking way, "I'm pretty sure he looked worse for wear after tonight, far worse than he could ever have looked after a death eater encounter or a spree of dentetions. I'm not even sure he'll survive the trip to Azkaban, being there again, I think we both know it'd kill him." |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Kristi smiled as Marcella worked on her robes. "Perhaps you should look into being a seamstress," she chuckled.
She took the robe and frowned as Marcella began to talk about her father. "I don't know, he's pretty resiliant. Though, I can't deny it will do him no good," she said, flopping back down on the bed and yawning. "I just don't know what to do. He won't run away from it. He's used up any last chances he's had with the ministry. I just don't see any way out of it this time."
Kristi laid back and took a deep breath and let it out slowly. She really didn't want to be crying over this right now. Or, ever, for that matter. This was just the way things were and crying wasn't going to help anything. She'd done enough crying this term already.

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Snape quietly shut the door to his quarters and leant upon it for a few moments, eyes shut. After sighing deeply, he lit a single lamp, shedding just enough light for him to make his way to the washroom. He slipped off the silk robes and hung them on a hook before turning on the water for a shower.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Marcella Riddle Graduated | Kaplinski Rival Sorting Hat Machine Sliding up next to her, she wrapped her arms around Kristi without so much as a seconds thought about it. Consoling the girl, she wasn't quite sure her hug would be enough. Thinking hard, trying to be as selfless as possible, she said, "Look, I feel a right mess, I need a wash up. How about you and your dad spend some time together? It'd do you the world of good. Just tell him how you feel. There's no sense in holding back now, he'd want to know." she told the girl, looking dead straight into her eyes, forcing her body to not cry too. |

| Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Kristi was grateful for Marcella's hug; as awkward as hugs were for her, she really needed it. "Thanks, Marcella but, I don't think either of us would know what to do. We've already talked some and we know how we feel. It would just be awkward and a waste of time which could be better spent. I think right now, I just want to get some rest. I'm going to need to gather what little courage I have if I'm going to ask Nicholas to take me to the ball tomorrow... well, I guess it's technically tonight.
