"no it's ok "Archie said "and don't say it like it's your fault ,you've got far too much to worry about rather than about putting a hand on my shoulder" |
She smiled at her stupidity and nodded her head lightly, scraping a piece of hair behind her ear. Her eyes travelling upward, they met with his and she, for the first time ever, saw Archie for who he was. Someone who really had been there for her, whether she'd known it for sure or not. Someone who cared. |
"wel er I'm going to get back to the er research for the case"Archie said smiling whilst trying to cease the awkward atmosphere |
She nodded her head and removed herself from his arms completely. "Yeah, I think we should get back to that." she replied, leaving after one last lingering look at Archie. |
Kristi squinted at the light streaming in the window; she wanted to roll over and get some more sleep, but today they were heading back to Hogwarts and she was going to be late. She got up and dressed quickly. After checking to be sure she had packed everything, she wandered down to the kitchen where Marcella, Archie, and a few members of the Order were seated at the table having breakfast. |
Marce looked up as she caught sight of Kristi coming through the doorway and smiled bravely up at her and stood, pushing her plate from in front of her. "I think I'm just gunna go and get ready, my apetite isn't much here anymore." |
Kristi looked around at the people gathered at the table and then turned to follow Marcella. "Hey Marcella! When did you want to corner Lupin?" |
Archie was eating some porridge at the table as marcella got up he followed her as he heard kristi mention Lupin. Archie followed the two out of the kitchen. |
Looking a little flustered, she turned and faced the two unexpectedly and sighed, "Oh I dont know, when do you think is a good time?" she asked, in a bit of a mess and not quite knowing what to do next. |
"As soon as we can get him alone," Kristi said, anxiously, frustrated with Marcella's indecisivenss. "We can't wait; it's too urgent and we might not get another chance." |
"Right." she said, standing still but still fiddling with her hands, agitated, "Well let me get my stuff down here first. You go and corner him in his office and I'll be right down." |
"Got it," Kristi said and then walked briskly to Lupin's office. She hadn't seen him at breakfast, so she assumed he'd be there. Kristi knocked on the door and walked in as she heard him mumble, "Come in." Not sure what to say next, Kristi glanced back out the door and then took a seat in one of the chairs. "So, will you be in the escort today?" she asked, stalling for time. |
Dragging the trunk down the stairs, she heaved it up against the wall and then straightened herself. Slipping her wand behind her ear, she rapped upon the door and, noticing Kristi were already inside, she slipped herself in, giving her a half smile. |
Archiue walked in to Lupin's office following the other two. |
*Andriel appeared from nothing by Kristi and Marcella* You two always live me alone :( |
ooc-i'll be Lupin "yeah ,i'll be taking you to kings cross"Lupin replied "any particular reason why?"he asked. |
"We need you to help us with something." started Marce, tentaively. "Only, we've not got many others to turn to and well, we thought you would understand. It's to do with Snape." she finished. |
*Andriel looked at Lupin and her eyes turned black. That was a normal thing now, then she just looked down on the floor and though, "He knows already"* |
"Look." she said, a tone of the utmost sincerity in her voice, "I dont care if you know Remus. I am this close to breaking at the moment, just tell me you'll do it, or else I'll go crazy!" |
*ANdriel said nothing, but felt a little outsider. WHat was going on? Why didn't they tell her? Only because she was a vampire and could find it out in her own way, doesn't ment to freezing her out* |
Marce stood silent, slightly miffed that Lupin hadn't answered her. |
*Andriel waited for Lupin to do something* |
"well the whole thing is very complicated "Lupin replied to marcella "what would i be doing ?"Lupin asked . |
"You know aswell as we do. He's essential to the order. All we need you for, is to be the adult who organises the appeal. We need to convince the Wizengamot that it was out character and that he's essential to thw downfall of the Dark Lord." |
*Andriel looked at both and tried to catch up* |
