She grabbed Reese's shoulders and said, "watch how you walk and you won't trip. Simple as that." She really needed Reese not to fret. She was one of her supports, she had to be strong for her.


"I'm happy you approve of him. He will be happy to have you as a brother in law, I'm sure." She started to pace again. This wedding needed to get started.

"Where is Penny?" she asked the room in general.

He snickered at her response to the fried comment. Really ew was the understatement."Its not a pleasant experience I'm sure." He was thinking that being burned alive wasnt a very good topic to be discussing at such an occasion. It should of been quiet the opposite. He was lost in a few of his own thoughts when she had asked which side would he prefer. Seeing as he might or might of not met her, it was safer to go with Maddox. Even if they had only spoken a few times. It was interesting to watch everyone age compared to a few years ago.

"Maddox side would be good." he answered her as he looked around the place. It was nice. Much more put together then theirs was. He was sure they would have a better one in the future.

Cayden had caught the girls greeting just as they had decided where to sit. She was rather nice looking."Hello." he smiled at her as she seemed rather excited to be doing so. He saw her point out the seats for them as he spoke to her."Thank you." he told her as he gave her a smile as he tipped his fedora to her. At least now he knew they wouldnt be walking around so aimlessly.

Cayden had heard a familiar voice coming from the area with the seat greeting lady. " I found your Elizabeth." he told her from behind her as he pointed it out to her. She was standing over by the lady again...talking about quidditch. Not a bad topic to really be discussing. Rather enjoyable topic." Go talk Quidditch." he teased her as he kissed her head."I Hear someone else i would like to catch up with." he told her as he gave her a smile.He was listening to their conversation as he decided not to go over just quite yet." I think their going to start soon. Lets go see Elizabeth before it starts." he told her as he waited to see what she would like to do.

Reese stopped pacing when Lima grabbed her shoulders. She looked down at her and bit her lip. It was simple as that. She needed to watch where she was walking and everything would be fine. "Okay. I'll watch where I'm walking and I'll be careful," she told Lima with a nod.

Tristian uncrossed his arms and walked over to the wall and leanded against it. Crossing his left leg over his right and crossing his arms, he was trying to act all cool. He didn't know what else to say to Lima, so he decided to keep quite. That was the best thing to do.

Penny walked into the room just has Lima asked her question. "I am here my dear." she said to her. She walked over to where Lima was. "How are you doing?" she asked her friend.

"Thank you, Reese," she said as she let go of the girl and started pacing again. She sighed again and wanted this thing to start.

Then Penny came in. "You're here! I'm stressing out. I wanna see him again. Please tell me that I can see him soon." She continued to pace.

Penny shook her head and laughed. "I have to say it. You both so need to calm down. You are wearing a hole in the carpet and it is going to take the grass forever to grow back where Mads is pacing." she told her friend. She watched Lima pace some more. "Please stop. You are making me nervous. And I don't know. He sent me in to check on you." she said to Lima.

She laughed. "I know, and I'm sorry. But I can't help it. I've just had this fear that he will change his mind about marrying me. And I just want to do this." She took another deep breath and kept pacing. Penny wasn't going to get her to stop. "I'm ready.. Other than the nerves. I wanna go down there badly, but I'm also scared. Stay with me for a bit, please?"

Penny shook her head. "Oy Vey!" she said with a laugh. "Lima, sweetie, he has fears that you are going to be the one to change your mind. Trust me, he Loves you. He wants this done just as much as you." she told her friend. When Lima continued to pace, Penny walked over and stood in front of Lima. "I know you do. He wants to see you. Don't be scared. I can promise you that you will be the only one he sees when you start down the isle." she reassured her. "Yes, I will stay. I promise." she said with a smile.

She calmed down a bit almost immediately. "He's scared I will change my mind? But why?" She didn't understand;s he was the one that didn't deserve him. "I know he loves me, but.. I still have doubts for some reason." Though the reassurance made her feel better. "You really think he will like how I look when I walk down the aisle?" She hugged her. "Thank you for staying."

Penny rolled her eyes at silly girl in white. "Yes, he thinks that you will come to some weird sense and run away screaming." she said. Penny watched Lima for a few seconds, noticing that she was some what calm. Penny smiled when Lima asked the question on her looking gorgous. "Oh honey, he aint going to keep his eyes off you." she told her. Penny hugged her best friend right back. "You are so welcome." she said with a big smile.

She laughed. "Why would he think that? He knows how much I love him with my whole heart." She then smiled. She hoped that Penny was right. She wanted him to like her in her dress so badly. "So how did it go over with him? The Eric thing?" She was starting to think clearer again now.

Elizabeth smiled at the girl again as she was acknowledged, especially when she got into the whispering. "That sounds like something that would bother my brother too. He would never miss a Quidditch match, for anything. I don't know what his team would do if he did," she commented, a soft smile creeping onto her face as she thought of Jonathan. Of course, he might have missed a game when his kids were born, but for some reason they all had been born when the season was out. "I'm sure Lima's having you do this because she thought you'd be the best for the job," she then added, trying to raise the other girl's spirits.

She nodded as Hogwarts came up, though. "Fourth through seventh years," she commented. "But I think you probably were more likely to have known my cousin." She looked a little bit older than her. not a lot, but enough that she though her guess was logical.

As she was waiting for the other girl to speak again, or Shana to, she suddenly heard her name again. Wow. Apparently either I'm nore well-known than I thought, or there are just more people here from when I was at school, she thought, before slightly turning and seeing Cayden. Which meant Mari was here too. Her spirits lifted a bit more, even with the tiny bit of awkwardness she still felt between her, her best friend and Cayden, even after all this time. But she wasn't about to just leave people hanging to go over there.

Penny shrugged. "Oh, I dont know. I know you do honey. I know he loves you too. So no worries." she said with a smile. Penny laughed when Lima asked how things went with the introduction. "Well you know Mads." she said. Then in a voice trying to sound like Maddox, "If you hurt her, be prepared." She started to laugh. "It think they are going to get along just fine." Penny said.

She laughed, at the impersonation, feeling so much better. It was cute how she tried, but she definitely didn't do a good job. "Typical Mads. Being a brute." She snorted. She would have to tell him to behave himself.

Penny started laughing again. "That was horrible. But yes. That is Mads." she told Lima. Penny thought for a minute. "So do you have everything? Something new, something old, something barrowed and somthing blue?" she asked Lima.

She went thoughtful now. "I have everything that I need. I believe. But I'm hungry." Her stomach started to grumble. "Tell Mads that I'm ready but I don't want to come out until I have some chocolate."

And Punz thought she knew this guest too, maybe? "Welcome to the wedding. Please find a seat and enjoy the ceremony."

Okay maybe this was starting to get unnecessary, since it looked like people could hardly miss the tent or the seats. Or the wedding. Ugh. Everyone probably thought she was an idiot now.

The car made a dead stop and what Cam saw was way unbelievable. Was he at the right place? Maybe he got the wrong address. But he knew he didn't. After saying a goodbye to his dad, he walked out of the car and onto the gravel pathway uneasily. Flowers everywhere and everything looked as thought it was planned to be there.

Did this wedding cost more than his house?!

He made sure that his wasn't wrinkled on the way and if it was, well ... well he didn't really want it to be messed up or anything at all. It was a regular suit... except for the green tie. Well he obviously had to show some Slytherin pride to the wedding right?

Following the sign, he just made his eyes unbelievably wider at the site of the humongous tent. It was just, it was the biggest tent he'd ever seen in his life. As he walked toward it, he looked at the time. OHGEEZ, WAS HE LATE?! He ran inside the tent.

"I'm heeeereee!"

"WELCOMEEEEEE!" the maid of honor greeted a young, excited man. She liked his enthusiasm for the wedding. "Find a seat and enjoy the ceremony!"

Oooh, Fedora Man was charming, wasn't he? "You're welcome," she answered him politely, her green eyes twinkling just a bit. It was nice to see so many people all dressed up, even if Rapunzel didn't know them all.

Brother....brother.....did Punz know her brother? Was that why she looked familiar? She didn't want to outright ask and seem rude, but she really wasn't smart enough to figure it out via ordinary conversation.

"Ahh yeah, well, I can empathize with your bro," she chuckled lightly. "It's like my life. I don't even know how they're surviving without me....meh..." The Cannons would be okay. Not like they were exactly known for winning, but they had been improving. Slowly but surely. London wasn't built in a day, or however the saying went.

She smiled slightly at the kind comment about her little greeting job. "Yeah...I thought you looked familiar...I left after my fifth year, see, to play for the Chudley Cannons." Rapunzel flicked a lock of golden hair behind her ear and then remembered her manners. "Oh, I'm Rapuznel Ariel Black, the Maid of Honor. Shoulda said that first."

She grinned and offered her a handshake. "What's your cousin's name?"

Maddox smiled gently. Kayla was a great friend. He knew she would always be there for him. "Thank you." He was a bit calmer now that she had wrapped her arms around him again. The stability of that, and the rubbing, made him relax. He wrapped his arms around her waist, and sighed. Bloody hell this would be the death of him.

He chuckled at that. He knew how Michael clinged to his mum whenever she was around. He could understand why. There was something about Kayla that made him calm. could it be the same reason that it made his godson calm? Probably. "Of course I don't mind. And, he will be smoother then Nico. I can see it now. Stud of Hogwarts...unless of course he goes to Durmstrang." Maddox grinned. It could happen, but he would much prefer his godson at Hogwarts.


"OH.ho. Really? Well I can handle the little bugger, I just don't know when I would be able to watch him. I could take him to work with me, but I don't know if the other Auror's would like it much. Of course unleashing him on dark wizards wouldn't be a bad idea. They would probably willingly go to Azkaban." He tried not laugh, but couldn't hold it in. He knew he would get into trouble for that one. It's not like he would really do that though. He would never take Michael to work. At least, not till he was older.






Maddox nodded at Eric. He seemed like a good guy, but he couldnt be to sure. At the moment, he didn't really care he was to busy with other thoughts. "See you soon Eric." He smiled and waved.


Maddox smiled at Penny. He knew she was right. He pointed at Kayla and the way she was just holding on to him tightly. "I'm getting there. Kayla's calming aura helps." He grinned and stuck out his tongue at her as she walked away.

Nicholai smiled. Only thing he really knew about Vanessa was that she clearly had good taste, what with being in a relationship with a Slytherin and all. Oh, and that she'd taken over from Kayla when she'd... left. Cela seemed to think she was alright too. "Hello, Vanessa. I should have known the place would be overrun with beautiful Hufflepuff women." He grinned and adjusted his hold on his son.


"Too bad all the good Slytherins were taken." Nico winked at Lima good naturedly, including Vannie in his smirk.


"Of course he'd never tell me that." Nicholai shook his head in amusement, neither he nor Mads were big on complimenting or thanking each other more than necessary.

"Yeah, I guess I have a few duties with that whole best man thing and all. But Lima, try and relax alright? you look breathtaking and ridiculously tempting right now, if you don't relax, it will make Maddox nervous and I don't much like the idea of chasing him around the place like I had to with Michael just now." Nico looked at his son.


Mikey looked back at his daddy all innocently but his ears perked up when he heard about chasing around. That was always heaps and heaps and heaps of fun. He made a few more car sounds because he really liked it when pretty ladies played with his hair and it keeped on happening when he was being a race car.

Nicholai cleared his throat and started toward the door. "See you all later."

Carrying Michael with him outside, Nicholai stopped by the tent and looked at the little boy disapprovingly, setting him on the ground without loosening his grip on him. "You told me you were going to be a good boy."

Mikey stared at his daddy wide-eyed and tried to speak really clearly 'cause his daddy liked it when he said stuff clearly. "I am a good boy, mummy said if I be a good boy I can go in a real car."

"I see." Nicholai chose not to comment on the car business, "May I have my jacket back please?" He eyed his son, "And my tie?"

Mikey considered this, his big dark eyes watching his daddy gravely. "No."
It was his cape and his headband and then he wouldn't be a super hero that could drive race cars sometimes and make bad guys go to Azkaban on other times. Mikey liked to be able to do both.

"And where are your jacket and tie?" Nicholai asked, noting that Michael had lost them at some point.

"In the garden, daddy." Mikey answered solemnly.

Suspecting his son was being quite literal with his answer; Nico frowned and finally stood up, lifting Michael and tucking him under one arm, wondering whether his son meant the garden here or the garden at home. Choosing not to ask Michael to clarify this, possibly because he would really prefer not to have to claw through a garden to find his son’s clothing, Nicholai just gave him a quelling look and made his way into the tent, looking for Maddox.

She laughed and gave Nico another hug and peck on the cheek. "I promise you that you won't have to chase him around the place." She laughed. Then she gave Mikey a kiss on the cheek too. He was the cutest thing on earth.

"See you soon, guys," she said waving at them as they left the room.

Mari smiled politely to the bridesmaid who was obviously directing the flow of guests into the pavilion but she stopped for a brief moment. The girl had been familiar...oh yes. Rapunzel; she had met the other crazed Quidditch fan who shared the same zeal for the sport as her father, same team too if Mari remembered correctly. However, the girl was soon busy again so Mari decided she would just say a more proper hello later on. At least now they had seats.

Mari nodded at Cayden's answer. " Yes, Maddox would be best for us,I suppose." She said, moving to find a seat on the right side. She was just going to sit when Cayden spoke to her again and she looked up to him, a bright smile on her face. " Really?" She glanced in the direction he was indicating and sure enough, there was the petite blond. " Oh I might know how the game works now, but that doesn't mean I'm going to go around talking about it." She teased him right back as he kissed the side of her head. " Sure, let's go catch up with her for a few moments." She said, turning so she could see him and giving him a quick little smile and kiss before she tugged him gently along. " I wonder what she's been up to," She said as they walked over to Elizabeth.

Mari came to a stop in front of Elizabeth, smiling warmly at her before she spoke. How it was that things could still be a little awkward, she would never know but she still cared about and missed Elizabeth. " I should have known you would be here too," She said. " How are you?" She asked, still smiliing at her.

Penny nodded when Lima told her that she had everything. "That is good." she said. Then she started to laugh at Lima's last comment that was followed by a grumble. "Ok I can do that. Anything else?" she asked the bride.

She smiled now that she knew that she would get her chocolate. She knew that there were extra favors outside and Mads would tell Penny to give her one of them. She went thoughtful for a moment. "Can you get Pretzel? Im almost ready and I need her up here. She's the Maid of Honor and she has to be with me from now on." She nodded.

Kayla gave him a gentle squeeze, she was glad that people knew they were just good friends otherwise this would like kind of...not right.

"Oh no he'll be going to Hogwarts, no son of mine is going to Durmstrang" she gave Maddox a wink. "No offense or anything." Kayla chuckled softly and continued to rub Maddox's back in the hopes to keep his nerves at bay. "Oh I am sure he will charm the girls just fine, unfortunately he did inherit some of my traits so I don't think he will be as smooth as his father." Kayla didn't actually think anyone could be as smooth as Nicholai Toussaint.

Kayla stepped away from Maddox and shot him a threatening glare. "Maddox Darcy you will do no such thing. No son of mine is going anywhere near Dark Wizards. He's going to have a nice boring job in the Ministry somewhere." Kayla let out a small huff, her son was not going through the same things she had gone through when she was younger. No-one should ever have to go through that.

Kayla turned at the sound o someone entering the tent and her face broke into a huge smile at the sight of Michael and Nicholai. She totally dismissed both their appearances at the moment.

"Mummmmmy" came Mikey's loud squeal. He flailed around in his father's arms trying to get out of his grasp and into his mother's arms.

Kayla walked over to the two with a huge smile on her face. "I see you two have been having fun." She gave Nicholai a kiss on the cheek and took Michael out of his arms and squeezed him tight against her and kissed him on the nose. "And you Mister, need to give daddy back his clothes."

"But I need my cape to fly" Mikey wailed giving his mother that innocent wide eyed look that would melt the heart of many.

"Good, and no offense taken. I don't want my godson going there either. I ...well you know." Maddox smiled. Kayla knew all the dark stories from his past. He took a deep breath, Kayla was definitely calming him. Though her next comment made him laugh, "Please, Kayla. You flirted just as much as Nico did. You may not be as smooth, but you have skills." He winked and chuckled some more.

Maddox could no longer contain his laughter. He knew her reaction would be funny...but he had no idea it would be that funny. "Yes well, if he is his father's son, you will see otherwise. Though I do understand why you don't want him too." Kayla's dark past was no secret to Maddox. Then approached the terror, and the best man. Maddox grinned at the sight of both of them.






Maddox stood there grinning slightly. He was so happy for Nico and Kayla, and to see that little bugger made him even happier. He didn't quiet know what to say to Nico right now. He was nervous beyond repair, and words failed him at the sight of his best man. A simple, "Hey Nico," was all he could muster.
