Mariska walked, a little hurriedly underneath the giant tent that had been pitched on the large and sprawling lawn, giving a little sigh as she found the shade. She smoothed her loosely curled hair down a bit, turning to smile at Cayden. " Thank goodness for this giant tent, hmm? Otherwise I'd be all..pink." She teased for a moment, wrinkling her nose a little in modest distaste. The sun really did nothing for her complexion, it never had, and besides, she could never tan anyway. She looked around and then shrugged. " I suppose we should go find a seat somewhere," She said, looking around for people she knew, mainly to see if Elizabeth was there yet either.

Cayden walked beside Mari as she found them some seats. Thank goodness they were under the tent. The sunshine from the sun would become irritating rather fast. Its a good thing he was wearing his fedora, seeing as it would keep the sunlight away from his eyes. He turned to her as she commented the same comment that had just ran though his mind." Not really pink. You'd be red. Like a lobster because you would be cooked." he teased her as he had his hands fit comfortably in his pant pockets."Yes. Lets do so." he agreed with her as she was in charge of finding good seats. He had met maddox briefly through Kayla during school, but he wasnt sure how she had met lima. He began to wonder if that was one of teage's friend who was ready to chunk something at his head that one time. Who knew. He decided it was best to just follow her and only speak to the people he knew.

As she finally got back up to the tent after her little side trip to the water, Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh a little. Okay, that was one way to combat her nerves about knowing anyone. Granted, she didn't really know the girl that was now quite spectacularly faking a greeting to everyone; she thought she had left Hogwarts not long after she had actually started there. But she couldn't help but say something as she came up to the girl. Lowering her voice so it was just above a whisper and most likely wouldn't be noticed by anyone else, she said, with a hint of a grin, "If you're not careful, someone's going to think you don't really want to be doing this." Near as she could tell, Lima was certainly going to have an interesting ceremony, if anything happening now meant anything. And it would certainly make for an interesting addition to the project she had been working on with the bride for years now. Provided Lima didn't ask her not to mention it.

Maybe her boots weren't going to be some of the strangest things here.

"Oh of course you can Maddox, she is the love of your life and this was meant to be." Yeah Kayla was big on the whole fate thing, her and Nicholai were a prime example of it. She noticed Maddox looking at her funny and she smiled up at him trying not to give away anything.

Oh she couldn't wait for the reception, give her a chance to let her down...well as much as one could with a two year hanging off your hip but she wouldn't have it any other way. "Sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. You better save a dance for me" she pointed a finger at him in a threatening way.

Kayla's face lit up again at the mention of Michael. "He is just the best isn't he? And his dad's not bad either" she chuckled as she gave him a wink. "Oh please don't say that Maddox, I remember when Cela got all hyped up on sugar, I do not wish that upon my son." Otherwise she might just go insane, if that happened.

She chewed on her bottom lip as she listened to Mya and she gave maddox a fleeting glance. "Maybe during the reception, when he's a little more relaxed" Kayla replied and she returned Mya's hug and gave her a kiss on the cheek also.

Not waiting for Keiran, who was trailing somewhere behind her, Celandine walked into the pavilion and looked around. It was pretty nice actually. Cela was in a great mood, a super duper, burst into giggles kind of mood. GOSH she hoped there were some people from school around, like not just the ones that had already graduated, but her actual classmates. ZOMG and... well not icecream, since Cela was being decidedly careful about eating too much sweet stuff. But a little wouldn't hurt right?

She tapped her new shoes absently against the ground and brightened at the possibility of... oooooh dancing! Gosh she hoped there would be dancing!

Eric was prepared for this. Penny warned him ahead of time "There is no need to worry Maddox. I would never do anything to hurt her. I love her like there is no tomorrow. She would be the one to hurt me first." he told him with a laugh.

Eric winced when Mya slapped the back of Maddox's head. That had to sting. "Ok, if you say so. Penny warned me that he would say something like that and that he is protective." he said to Mya. He smiled when Mya thanked him for coming. "You are welcome. I am glad to be here. Penny thought it was time for me to meet you and Maddox and she figured here would be a place." he said as he wrapped an arm around Penny's shoulder.

Penny rolled her eyes when Mads warned Eric not to hurt her. She was about to say something when Mya slapped the back of Mads head. 'Ouch' she though with a wince.

Penny turned to Kayla while Eric talked with Mya. "Things are going great. It sure has been along time. You look great. How are things going with you?" she asked her.

Penny smiled up at Eric when he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. She was glad to see Eric getting along with Mya.

Mariska was caught up in simply looking at Cayden for a moment before his words registered in her mind. It wasn't her fault he was so handsome in his formal wear, she told herself. " Oh ew," She laughed a little as they moved forward, searching for the best place to sit. " I don't want to think of myself as cooked, ever," she laughed again and then brought a finger to her pursed lips in a show of thought. " Whom do you know better, Lima or Maddox? I mean, whose side should we sit on the bride or the grooms..." She figured she knew them both equally, so she'd go with Cayden's answer. While she waited she looked around the tent a little, taking in the decorations, thinking vaguely that it was very well put together.

Shana began to walk forward,carefully glancing at everyone's shoes,Oh no! she was the only one wearing high tops,mabye it wasn't such a brilliant Idea wearing them.She was looking forward to seeing all of her friends,she hadn't seen Lima for agesss and now she was 21? and getting married! Shana felt kind of awkward she was 15 now and she hadn't seen any of her 7th year friends since they left.She shrugged her shoulders and smiled at the lady greeting them,as she stepped inside of the tent.


Shana spotted Elizabeth and decided to go over and say hello.Heey Elizabeth,How've you been ? she said with a small smile,she felt all awkward talking to her since she hadn't seen her in soooo long.

Vanessa smiled, and squeezed her friends hand reassuringly. She knew that Lima was going to be fine. "I'd be scared too." She admitted, still smiling. It still felt wierd to think about how she was probably going to marry Miles. Not that she minded at all, but it just felt wierd. "Yeah...look you have the money for that." She giggled, grinning. She wasn't sure where her and Miles would go on their honeymoon, probably nothing as wild as Lima.

"Good...we don't want anyone falling in a pond." She giggled, she still thought that it would actually be very funny for that to happen. Just not to her. Maybe she could push someone in. Or not. She'd probably get her dress muddy then.
"Aww..." Vannie smiled at Lima. She seemed to be relaxing a little now, and that was good.

"I can't wait either." She beamed, imagining her wedding. "ooh...that would be awesome." She nodded, she knew that she liked yellow a lot, and Miles would be happy with green. "We shall see." She nodded, smiling.

"Tehee." Vannie smiled at Rapunzel. "anndd how are you?" She asked, she really hoped that now she'd graduated from Hogwarts that they could see a lot of each other.

Nicholai raised an eyebrow and nodded politely at Tristian. "Excellent, between the two of us we can keep the degree of ego in the bridal party precisely balanced." He added a mental, stay away from Cela and offered a small smirk.

"It's just a little token of my appreciation, Lima." Nicholai shrugged, "Now where did I put... ah." He rummaged in his jacket pocket, the jacket that his 2 year old son was still happily wearing as a cape. Giving Lima a wink, he extracted a small leather box and presented it to her with a flourish. "If you don't like it, I can get you something else..." Nicholai was fairly sure she would like the princess cut diamond pendant, he had impeccable taste after all and luckily no limits in his pocketbook.


"Mads is alright for a Hufflepuff." Nicholai agreed with a wink for Lima. He transferred his glance to Reese and offered a charming smile, the effect only slightly ruined by the two year old under his arm making racing car noises. Nicholai frowned slightly at Michael, and made a mental note to tell Kayla to stop getting the boy so overstimulated by muggle things, or he might develop an obsession.


"My son." Nicholai explained with a small shrug, "I couldn't find a babysitter." He hadn't looked really, as it was, Nico had serious issues with leaving Michael with anyone who wasn't a) family and b) adept with a wand.

Mikey wrinkled up his little nose and headbutted his daddy in the shoulder. He looked around at all the pretty ladies and waved happily, momentarily distracted. But he kind of wanted his mummy. Or Celly.

"I suppose I should go find Maddox now that I have a decent grip on this one." He grinned around at the other people in the room. And find Kayla, he added silently.

"I'm mortified.. I can't wait for the reception. And I worry that he won't like how I look in my dress." She sighed. Then she had to chuckle at that second comment. Yes, she and Maddox were very rich. They were well into the millions. "Yes, we are going for 3 weeks. 3 weeks in the tropics. I have so much luggage with me, Mads was amazed when he saw." She shook her head. He never got how she could pack so much stuff; for him, it was always just what he needed. She always had to remind him that he was missing things. "For the next 3 weeks I'm living on the beach." Her eyes sparkled.

"And no we don't. Least of all me or Mads." She laughed. If that happened to Mads, all hell would break loose and she would be scared to have to deal with it. It wouldn't be pretty.

She smiled. She was happy that Vannie seemed to like her idea. Miles and her would be so cute if they got married. She really hoped it happened.


She snorted at the first comment then raised her brow as he rummaged through the coat that Mikey was wearing as a cape. When he extracted a leather box, she started to feel a bit excited. She loved surprises, and knowing Nico, whatever he had for her would be exquisite.

Smiling, she took it from him and slowly opened it. When she saw what it was, she gasped. It was beautiful. She quickly closed the box again and gave him a hug and kiss on the cheek. "It's magnificent." She smiled.

What seemed like seconds after she'd made her little joking comment to the girl attempting to greet everyone, Elizabeth heard someone say her name. With a tiny mental prayer of gratitude that at least there was someone who knew her there, she turned around to see Shana standing there, looking a little awkward. "Hey Shana," she said with a smile to the younger girl. "Nice shoes. Anyway, I've been good. I mean, after graduating I ended up staying over here, living in Wales for a while until i could find my own place." That was the only way she had been able to convince her parents to let her stay in England back then. Moving in with Rhiannon for a while. But at least she had been able to see Ludo. "And I've been writing books." Okay, two. Or one complete and one in progress, since she had managed to hold off her publisher until she could decide on a good place to end her book about Lima.

"Glad you like it." Nicholai hugged her back and kissed her cheek in return. He smirked, "Did you ever show Mads the letter?" Maddox hadn't ever had a go at Nico about it, but then technically Nico had done Mads a favour.


Mikey was getting bored. Usually when daddy was kissing ladies it was easy to get away from him but this time he was stuck. He flailed around a bit and frowned crossly before starting to make car noises again.

"Oh...Lima..you look fantastic." Vanessaa rolled her eyes at her friend. Trust Lima to think that on her wedding day. At least Maddox could tell her that she looked beautiful later.
"Three weeks!" Vanessa gasped, god Lima and Maddox were rich! That was not fair. Lima should donate some of her money to the Vannie and Miles fund. "You lucky person." Vanessa sighed, she could really do with a holiday now. But at least it was her birthday soon. That Lima would miss. Trust Lima. "Send us a postcard." She giggled, then they could pretend they were at the beach.

"Nope...maybe...someone else." Vannie giggled, that would amuse them all. But it would be bad for that person. They'd be covered in nice pond stuff. She was definetly not going to fall into a pond anytime soon.

"I wonder where Miles is actually." Vanessa commented, glancing out of the window again. She hoped that he'd be here soon.
Vannie turned back around as she heard..car sounds? Ahh...It was Nico and a little boy. Awwwww.
"Hey Nico."

"You know, I want to get this over with,too. I'm scared that when I walk up the isle than I'm going to trip and fall and ruin the WHOLE wedding," Reese commented. That would just be here to ruin this whole thing and then have Maddox and Lima mad at her forever and ever and ever and ever. That would just be plain horrible.

"I know it is, isn't it? But, it's true," Tristian told his sister. He took his eyes off Lima and looked at Nico when he said something. "Yes, he is one cool Hufflepuff." He grinned slightly and looked back at Lima. "So, when is the wedding suppose to start?" He wanted to get the wedding over with, so they could party afterwards and he could eat cake and talk to ladies, so he could listen to them talk about how handsome he was.

All Maddox could do with that statement was smile. It was true. She was the love of his life. Even after the big fiasco....he still loved her. "I know. Still doesnt mean I dont need you today." He gave her a wink wit that.


"Of course I will save a dance for you, are you joking? Pfft!" He grinned, hopefully Michael wouldnt be to much of a terror that she could dance. Though if he is, there are potions and spells that will put him to sleep. The thought crossed his mind for only a moment, he chuckled, and decided against it. Thought it would be a good idea.


"I believe that Michael will be much, much better looking, and more of a ladies man than his father. I mean just take one look at him, and you can see it." He grinned mischeviously. He knew he would get into trouble for that one, but it was true. How could he not be better looking...His mum is gorgeous. "Ah, well if it doesnt bother him now, it shouldnt in the future. Sugar has never bothered me like it does Nico and Cela."





Mya nodded once. She wasnt going to force the young woman to do anything that she wasnt ready for. Though she knew her son. "Alright, dear. When your ready, I would like you, and your son to sit with me during the reception. Now I am going to go find my seat. I have a feeling we are going to start soon." She winked at Kayla, and patted her on the arm before turning to Maddox. "Darling I'm going to go sit down. Will you be alright?" She asked, hoping he was a bit calmer now.






Maddox was surprised at his honesty, but at the same time, he didnt believe that statement. But he decided to be content with the answer. This was no time to start a fight, and he was to old for this now anyway. "Alright. But if I find out that you do hurt her. Be prepared."


Hearing his mother's question, he thought for a moment before answering, "Yeah, I will be fine." He smiled and pulled her into a hug, and let her be on her way.



Mya smiled at Eric and replied, "Dont worry, once you prove Maddox wrong, or he gets to know you, he will stop threatening you." She shook her head and rolled her eyes at her son. Goodness he could be a heathen!

She smiled at Penny and answered, "Oh darling I'm doing just fine. Thank you for asking!" She patted Penny on the arm.


After her son hugged her for a few minutes, she turned and faced everyone that was out there with him. "Now you all take care of him, and make sure he doesnt go crazy, lord knows we wouldnt want that." She grinned, and turned towards the tent. "See you all inside!" She waved and went inside the back door, finding her seat in the front row, on the right hand side.




Maddox continued to pace. He was definatly making a path in the grass. He needed someone to go check on her...someone. "Penny," he said without looking at her, and still pacing, "Will you please go check on her for me?" He continued to pace, knowing full well that his friends were watching him.

Miles was extremely late. Extremely. But it certainly wasn't the fault of his, it was aaaaaall Sylvia's fault. Or he thought so, beacause he was a bit slow aswell. But his younger sister was slow because she wasn't really fond of weddings. But nevertheless, he still managed to drag her along, and plus, she was soo cute in her purple dress! Ever since Miles had moved out of his father's house, he felt as if he'd become quite distant from his sister, that's why he always dragged her along to events like this, so they could bond, and be like the siblings they were. Always there for each other. Also, now that Sylvia was a fully fledged teenager, her moodyness had gotten worse. She was moody when she was a little girl, but now it was like 'Get out of my personal space!' rather than 'I want to go to the sweety swop!'

"Cooome ooon!" He had no idea where Vannie was, but he was more preoccupied with sitting down and waiting for the ceremony to start, thankfully, he hadn't missed that.

I'll come in my own time. Stupid. Sylvia thought as she gracefully glided behind her eldest sibling, yet still gripping onto his hand as he dodged people to find their seats. Everyone didn't seem so tall nowadays. Her growth spurt was such a compliment to her thin frame and long blonde hair, which she would never cut.

She was quite glad she was much older now, fifteen to be exact. And she couldn't wait until she too graduated Hogwarts like Miles. When Miles found their seats, his faced amused her as it was filled with enthusiasm, but worry at the same time, just incase they had missed anything. She leaned back in her chair and crossed her legs. "I hate weddings." She mumbled under her breath, too many lovey dovey people and crying mothers.

Rapunzel might not have liked this little chore, not one bit, but she was being faithful to Lima and doing as her friend asked. Sigh. Sometimes she was too good of a Hufflepuff.

But before she had a chance to say anything she had to greet the guy accompanying her. "Helllllo, welcome to the wedding. Find a seat and enjoy the ceremony," Punz drawled, gesturing toward the tent as politely as possible.

And ya know, she really didn't like faking politeness. "Hi hello....oh...." Rapunzel dropped her voice when the girl entering the tent for the second? time? started whispering. Ooh, they were like plotting now. She liked plotting.

"Heheh I don't want to be doing this, not gonna lie," the blonde shrugged. "I'm missing a major quidditch match for Lima and she's relegating me to silly tasks like this? It's whatever."

She sighed and folded her arms, noticing the girl's boots for the first time. They reminded her of something. "You went to Hogwarts, right?"

Tia wandered into the tent and sighed it had been quite a few years since she had seen lima and anybody else she knew she hoped that she would catch up with some of her friends soon

She looked at him in confusion for a second. Then it hit her. "Oh, I showed him ages ago. He said that you were right about everything." That was Nico though. He knew Mads better than a lot of people did.

Noticing the struggling toddler, she then added, "I think it's time you should go to Mads now. See you soon. And thank you again." She smiled at him again and ruffled Mikey's hair as he made car sounds. He was so cute.

"Why does everyone keep telling me that? UGH! I picked the wrong dress. It looks bad on me." She started to flail a bit. She was getting panicky now. "Vannie, can you put this necklace on me? I can't do it myself. I'm starting to tremble." She had to think more of her vacation. Think of palm trees and sand. Of tropical drinks and surfing. "I know I am. But we worked for our money. Well, the money that wasn't from Mads' inheritance. Then she giggled. "You will get a postcard."

"Poor person! Well, we don't want to jinx anyone.." Though if Evee was the one to fall in, she wouldn't complain. BWAHAHA.

"Maybe he's in the tent waiting for you," she said smiling.

"Don't worry, you won't fall. You did good at the rehearsal yesterday, no?" She patted the girl on the shoulder lightly. Reese just needed to calm down and not stress. Even though she wasn't one to talk. But she WAS the Bride..


"I didn't think you though a Hufflepuff COULD be cool." She was rather surprised. But then maybe Tristian was happy that Mads had managed to repair their relationship a bit. She always wondered how he managed that, but she had never asked. She just knew that she was thankful for it. "I know you like Mads, Tristian." She smiled at him.

Better later than never. Better late than never. Better late than never. Those were the words Anna Greingoth kept repeating over and over in her mind as she approached the location of Lima and Maddox's wedding. Anna only hoped the ceremony hadn't already started. Wouldn't that be the ultimate fail? She would have stopped to admire the scenery, but she didn't feel she had much time to do so. There was a gorgeous pond out by a tent that had obviously been set up for the wedding. Anna did notice that---how could she not?

Noticing a sign that read "This way to the ceremony," Anna followed a little pathway that she supposed would lead her to that tent. As soon as she was inside, Anna took notice of the fact that the ceremony had actually not yet begun. Thank Merlin... Seeing that she could relax, Anna took a moment to glance around the tent and take in the beauty of all the decorations. Someone had surely gone the extra mile!

"I know I did good at rehearsal,but- you know- I could trip and fall. It's always a possibility," Reese told Lima. She was the one pacing back and forth now. Thinking about how bad it would be if she ruined the best day of Lima's life. How bad Reese would feel after she ruined it. Gaaaaaaaah. She needed to think positive. POSITIVE. POSITIVE. POSITIVE.

"Usually, Hufflepuffs CAN'T be cool," Trisitan told Lima. "Mads is the exception." He crossed his arms as he looked at all the ladies that were in the room, winking at some of them.

Kayla moved forward and placed her arms around Maddox and rubbed his back gently. "I'm here as long as you need me. I won't go until it's time." She looked around the tent at the others, she didn't know what he was worried about there were a group of people here giving him support.

She smiled at his comment about the dance. "So long as you don't mind dancing with two of us." She chuckled softly, Michael didn't tend to let her out of his sight for too long. She was actually surprised that Nicholai hadn't found her yet, she was sure their son was driving him insane by now.

Kayla burst out laughing, "Oh my son is gorgeous yes but I don't think even he can outdo his father when it comes to the ladies." She gave Maddox a wink and wondered just how how many women would be vying for Nicholai's attention tonight. "Well let's hope so otherwise I will be sending him around to Uncle Maddox's house and he can sort him out."

She smiled back at Mya, the woman reminded her so much of her own mother which was probably why they were getting on so well. "Thank you Mya, it would be an honor to sit with you." Kayla actually breathed a sigh of relief, she hadn't been sure who she was going to end up sitting with. It had been so long since she had been at Hogwarts, that she was unsure of who was invited. She nodded to Mya when she said she was leaving, "I'll be there soon. I'll just stay with Maddox until Nicholai gets here."

Cam was nervously shivering like a cat that just got out of water while he looked out from the car window and started checking if everything was right; his hair, his clothes, well everything actually. Lima Whiggalima aka Lemur Woman to him was officially getting married and it was to some Lemur Man he never met before but he really was a Lemur Man from that Godzilla-sized body the guy had. Sure the saying was always happily ever after but he was sure--so sure that this couple was going to fight crime everywhere on the streets. A super couple. Totally kewl.

The car made a dead stop and what Cam saw was way unbelievable. Was he at the right place? Maybe he got the wrong address. But he knew he didn't. After saying a goodbye to his dad, he walked out of the car and onto the gravel pathway uneasily. Flowers everywhere and everything looked as thought it was planned to be there.

Did this wedding cost more than his house?!

He made sure that his wasn't wrinkled on the way and if it was, well ... well he didn't really want it to be messed up or anything at all. It was a regular suit... except for the green tie. Well he obviously had to show some Slytherin pride to the wedding right?

Following the sign, he just made his eyes unbelievably wider at the site of the humongous tent. It was just, it was the biggest tent he'd ever seen in his life. As he walked toward it, he looked at the time. OHGEEZ, WAS HE LATE?! He ran inside the tent.

"I'm heeeereee!"

Eric gave a nod to Maddox's warning. "I will most certainly keep that in mind." he said to Mads. Eric turned back to Maddox's mum and returned her smile. "It's ok Mrs. Darcy. I understand. I am willing to give it all the time in the world." he told her. Then he watched as mother and son have a moment. When they were done, he waved to Mads mum when she left to go into the tent. Then he turned to Penny. "I am going to find us our seats." he said and then lightly kissed her on the lips. He went into the tent and took a seat behind Maddox's mum in the second row.

Penny watched at Mya and Mads had their moment. Penny smiled at Mya and said, "Don't worry, if he goes crazy, we can handle him." She waved to Mya when she went to go sit down. "Ok." she said to Eric when he told her he was going to find their seats. She smile at him and when he took her face in his hands. She kissed him back when he kiss her.

Then she turned to Mads when he said her name. She was watching him pace back and forth. When he asked her to go check on Lima she nodded. "As long as you do something for me and everyone else. CALM DOWN. I am going to tell you this now, she is just as nervous as you are honey." she told him. She turned and walked away before he could say anything to her.
