Reese rolled her eyes. “Shut up Joe.” She muttered, sighing heavily. She noticed another girl come over. “Hi, I’m Reese.” She paused at a particularly nasty throb. “And slowly dieing.” She added under her breath. Suddenly, she remembered something Joe had said. “Hey Joe, by the way, what was with the ‘So this is what a penguin feels like’ thing?” She raised an eyebrow, smirking lightly.

Joe looked over at Liz. "Stuff, and junk." She said and laughed a bit. "Nothing too important." Joe laid down on the ground, and looked up at the sky. The clouds were the same as they were back home too.

And I can sneak up on James, jump on his back and make him eat dirt. Joe automatically started to laugh as she heard that. "Oh my I didn't see that one." She said looking over at her friend. "Jeez give me some notice before you do something like that."
"I've always called you that." Joe said. Which was true. Since they first met she had been Crys towards Joe. Yah, occasionally they name Crystal would pop out of her mouth- but most of the time it was Crys. "You know that."

Joe sat up as they talked about classes. She wasn't looking forward much to hers. They wouldn't belong- like always. "I think the headmaster said he was going to talk to us tomorrow- before breakfast about it." Jocasta could recall the old man saying something to them. "I don't know about you guys, but he said he's going to get me to teach a Divination class."

And with that another girl popped up. She seemed something friendly. Joe smiled at the girl who introduced herself as Lily. "Joe." She gave a friendly smile.

Hey Joe, by the way, what was with the ‘So this is what a penguin feels like’ thing? Joe laughed as she laid back down on the ground. "I've always just wondered. They always looked so cute."

James looked as the others went off into the other crowds. He smiled deciding to do a bit of homework or whatever. His dad warned him about putting it off and told him if he kept putting it off he would suffer the consequences and James loved his dad but hated his consequences. He toward the Great Hall deciding to study in there while getting a bite to eat.

Joe looked over as James started to walk off. Wonder what he is up to. She got up from her nice laying spot. "I'll be back." Might as well get to know the students of this school- he didn't seem half bad after all. She walked past the tree with all her card stuck in it and picked them all out. And went and caught up to James.

"Where you running off to then?" She asked as shuffled her deck of cards.

Looking to the left of him he saw Joe catch up with him. "Well I wasnt expecting you to follow me." he said smirking at her. "You didnt seem too fond of me back there... or was I imagining it?" he asked with a grin. "Im just going to the Great Hall to get somethign to eat. Wanna join me?" he asked opening the door and motioning in.

Joe shrugged. "I give mixed messages." She said jokingly as she stuck out her tongue. They walked through the large doors into the entrance. It was still beautiful to her- but still a bit overdone. "Food sounds pretty good." She said "I haven't had anything to eat all day."

“Well now you know.” Blaze sighed, leaning back against the tree again. She saw Joe follow James off, and a little part of her wanted to go see what they were doing. She glanced back at the others, making sure no one was paying attention, before turning into a little brown mouse and following them.

The great hall seemed a bit too extravagant in her taste, but she could really care less. Of all the people, Joe had run off with James? Weird. She kept close, but not close enough that Joe would recognize her.

James gave her a smile and the buge doors shut behind them as they went toward on of the tables. "I guess you can sit with me at the gryfindor table." he said sitting near the middle of one long table. He rubbed his hands together ready t grub. Thinking of some chicken wings a huge pile appeared before him. He smiled. He'd run later.

"Oh gryfindor." She said outloud as they sat down. "That just sounds something fancy." She laughed. Her eyes went wide at once glance at the table. Could one table sersiously hold this much food? You had everything on it- and Joe nervously laughed to herself. Man she did prefer this over her house's cooking.

James laughed as he looked over at Joe. "Its ok. We can run it off later. No prob" he said smiling. He was good at running things off. Or playing them off... either way it made no difference to him.

"Haha alright, it sounds like a date." Joe laughed quietly to herself as she looked to her right spaghetti appeared. Oh how she loved that pasta. Once dished out she ate for the first time that day. She ate- and it was good. "I love spaghetti." She said to herself as she took a bite.

James laughed. He didnt know he had said anything about a date. But o well. "Well you may like spaghetti but.... chicken ROCKS!" he said stuffing a peice into his mouth. He laughed trying not to spit bits of food everywhere.

He looked at her spaghetti. It DID look tasty. Swallowing his chicken he took his fork and poked it into her spaghetti twirling it he got some on his fork and stuffed it in his mouth.. "YUM!" he said laughing

"HEY!" Joe gave him a light joking punch in the arm and laughed. "What happened to yay for the chicken?" She pushed her plate away from James. "There is plenty for everyone." Joe giggled. "Can't you just get your own plate chicken man?"

James laughed and swallowed the lump of spaghetti in his throat. His chicken was better than that spaghetti. "Your right. I dont need your spaghetti my chicken is WAY better." he said smiling and grabbing his plate bringing it closer to him.

Jocasta laughed and shook her head. The boy did seem to have a certain charm to him- she could give him that much. "Yah well a bug is going to be landing on your chicken pretty soon." As she finished her sentence a fly flew down onto Jame's chicken and started to snack on it themselves.

James pushed the food away staring grossly at it. "Ok Im done." he said and smirked. He patted his stomach. "Imm full" he said rubbing his stomach once more. He laughed.

Joe laughed as James pushed the food away from him. "Chicken not so nice anymore?" She said- still eating her own spaghetti. "Oh yummy, perfect sauce- nice noodles, bugless. This is just perfect."

Liz watched as Joe ran off after James and when Blaze looked around to see if anyone was looking before she turned into a mouse. She laughed and wondered what Reese was up to. She looked back to Lily and asked,"What's it like living with two boys?" She never got the chance to experiance it before her parents shipped her off to Montana and she only ever occasionally saw her brothers.

James laughed. 'I dont care about your spaghetti. I am full" he said closing his eyes and laying his head on the table. he pretended to snore.

Joe took a bite of her spaghetti and then pushed it away. She really was full. She looked over at James- as she 'snored'. She blinked a few times and then looked at the boy. "I suggest you move your head now or when a first year trips behind you- his plate of food is going to be going all over that pretty little face of yours. And he's having mashed potatoes."

Liz wanted to see what Joe was up to so she got up, brushed off the grass, put her hood up and started walkin towards the school. She needed to talk to her about something, she just didn't know what yet.

James peeked through one eye. "how you know that?" he asked sitting up and looking around,

Instead of taking her advice he kept laying his head on the table. Joe rolled her eyes and grabbed the back of Jame's robes, pulling his head up from the table. At that moment a small boy tripped over his robes sending his plate flying- landing where James head would be. "I give advice for a reason." She laughed.

Liz walked through the doors and spotted Joe almost immediately and walked over to her. She looked at James, then turned back to Joe,"Hi."

Reese had an idea. She figured it would be the perfect time to cause a problem. She headed to the opposite side of the table, jumped up on the bench, and turned back into a human. “Hello.” She smirked a bit, looking at the food on the table. “Ew, what happened there?”
