Crystal looked at Joe and blushed at what she had mouthed, I do not she mouthed back and laughed at Joe, she didn't know if Hugo or James saw but they wouldn't get anything out of that.

James cocked his eyebrow. "O I wont get any ideas." he said and gave a silent look to Hugo. Surely his cousin would help her get into the Lake. He gave a peek around at the girl in the Lake. "Feels good dont it?" he asked smiling.

Hugo smirked at James. But he wasnt going to help him, He was content right where he was, he gave a slight shake of the head anad proceeded with what he was doing. Reading a book. Something he usually didnt do but his mom had told him if he didnt make the grades he'd be here for summer school.. something he WOULDNT do.

Crystal smiled at James, "oh so going to get your cousin to do your dirty work James?" she smiked and shook her head. She looked over at Hugo and smiled, "thanks for not throwing me in, yet"

Joe laughed Stop blushing. She floated onto the back "Oh me?" she said to the boy. "Sure does- I love the water. Me being fish girl mutant." She laughed wondering if the boy would take her seriously- or know that she was totally fibbing."

Penguin-ized Blaze followed Joe over to the side, floating on her back a bit away before heading all the way over. She gave a little squeak, not wanting to transform back and get her clothes all wet. Plus, knowing Joe, she’d know what she was trying to say anyway. She poked Joe with her beak, squeaking again.

James laughed and gave Hugo a push knocking him over. "Since when do you read?" he asked and smirked. He shot up as fast as he could and grabbed Crystal around the waist picking her up off the ground and over his shoulder. "Looks like I didnt need your help after all Hugo." he said laughing. "Wanna help me?" he asked joe pointing to Crystal.


Hugo laughed and gave a small ooff as he hit the ground. Looking back up he saw James had got a hold of Crystal trying to force her into the water. He laughed and put down his book watching them.

Crystal looked at Joe and blushed even more I'm not! she mouthed and didn't even notice James standing up when all of a sudden she was hanging over his shoulder "Put me down now!" she shouted and kicked him in the chest, "I hate swimming!" she yelled out, ok that wasn't a lie but it wasn't the truth, she couldn't swim but it's not like they knew that, Liz didn't even know that. "James I-Don't-Know-Your-Middle-Name Potter put me down!" she yelled again, "help me someone!"

Joe looked over at blaze as she was poked by a beak. Her hand gently patted the penguin head. "So thats what a penguin feels like." She chuckled as she looked over at Jame. Crystal was now over his shoulder. Wanna help me?

Joe laughed. "It doesn't look as though you need help. Just throw her in!"

Blaze ‘frowned.’ She was one of the few people who knew Crystal couldn’t swim. She hopped up onto the shore and turned into a polar bear, albeit wet. Looking at James, she let out a roar, followed by a snarl. Crystal should know she wouldn’t actually hurt anyone, but hopefully James wouldn’t.

Joe giggled slightly as Blaze frowned. She didn't even know penguins could frown. She cheered on James slightly as the penguin turned into a Polar- which only made Jocasta laugh harder. Students from the school must think something crazy is going about- with a polarbear just walking about the school.

James tripped backward almost dropping Crystal as a massive polar bear just got out of the water. He set Crystal down and backed away silently. You could say he was scared. He'd never seen a polar bear before.

Crystal sighed when James dropped her to the floor, "that's enough Blaze" she turned to James and closed her eyes, "sorry about that, it's just...I can't" she couldn't bring herself to say the last word but she sounded weird not finishing, "swim and Blaze knows that but don't worry she wouldn't hurt you"

Joe laughed harder as James tripped over his own feet and fell back. "Oh how did I know that was going to happen." She laughed as she got out of the water. "Mhm, wind's a little chilly." She looked up and Reese. She laughed at what she wanted to do.

"Dear miss polar bear, sorry but I have to let my urges get the best of me." Joe said as she jumped up onto the bears back. She laughed as she looked at the scared James. "Poor little magic boy scared of some fur?" She said in a baby voice as she hugged Blaze.

I can't swim. Joe tried to think of a time that Crystal swam, but couldn't bring any memories forth. "Jeez Crys you should have just said something." She petted Blaze's head. "Sorry man but your reaction was still really funny. Reesey here can't even hurt a fly." She hugged the polar bear again.

Blaze would have chuckled if she could have. Instead, she made a rather pleased sounding purr like noise as she nuzzled Crystal. She made a mental note of a polar bear being a rather intimidating animal as she gave James one last snarl. That reaction had been priceless. She had heard Joe’s laughing, and wondered what James would think of that.

Joe didn’t even seem like a fly on her back, but let the other girl pet her head. She gave a rather approving noise as she was hugged, nuzzling Joe slightly. As Joe spoke, she snarled again, amused by his skittishness.

James ' face went from horrified to beat red in a matter of minutes. He laughed awkwardly at himself. Everyone was laughign at him and it didnt make him feel one bit good. He stuffed his hands in his pockets trying to hide his red face.

"Don't turn to bright now." Joe laughed as she hopped off her dear friend. She patted James on the shoulder. "Going to have to learn were a bunch of jokesters. We mean no harm." She chuckled again as she walked over to her clothes and threw them back on. Now where is that deck. Alas she had found her deck in the pocket. Her feet brought her back towards the four. The deck was being shuffled- as usual as Joe did when she was bored. "No harm at all."

Blaze walked over to James, not before making Joe wouldn’t fall off when she got off, and nuzzled him a bit. Sure it had been funny, but he looked so embarrassed she actually felt a little bad. She shook off, making sure he got a little wet in the process, before changing back into a human. “How true that is.” She chuckled softly, running a hand through her still, slightly damp hair. Her clothes were dry though, and she blinked as Joe came back. “Having fun?” She asked, looking at the deck of cards.

James gave a smile and lifted his face. "Yeah but around here... I aint used to being joked around like that. It was quite embarrassing." he said giving a laugh, and a good one at that. "Just not used to it but it was fun." he said smiling. He looked at Crystal. 'So you cant swim? Have you ever tried?" he asked wanting to teach her. He loved swimming and thought everyone should enjoy it too.

Crystal patted Blaze and turned to James when he talked about swimming and frowned "I tried once" she muttered, looking down at the ground and then looked back up at him, "I almost drowned" She added quickly. She had always wanted to learn but she was too proud to ask anyone.

"Well get use to it. I got no powers to joke around on you- but I knew when it's coming- and it's going to be coming alot." Joe said as her hands continued to shuffle the deck of cards.

Having fun? Reese said as she was human again. "Oh you know it." Joe took a card. She desperatly wanted to through it across the face of the lake, but knew she wouldn't get it back if she did so. So instead she threw it pass James' head into the tree behind him. Joe smirked and looked at Crystal. Wizard boy likes Cryss she mouthed.

James threw his head back trying to dodge the card but it meerly just flew by him.. He gae a laugh. "Crossing his amrs he looked at them. "So can I ask yall a question?" he asked curiously. He wanted to find out about their powers.

Blaze chuckled softly at Joe before turning back to James. “By the way, consider that payback for staring earlier.” She wasn’t surprised he tried to dodge Joe’s card. “Advice for that, staying where you are gets you hit less often.” She smirked a little at Joe. “Shoot.” She looked over at James, brushing a stray strand of hair out of her face.

"It's about how we don't fit in ain't it." Joe looked over at the boy and then threw another card- not looking where she is aiming. Once again it just passed his ear and split her other card in half. She noticed his flinch "Banana nuts I need a new deck now." She looked at her card. "Don't worry I won't hit you- I've only hit one person... or two. I forget. Take Reese's advice. She gets hit the most." Her eyes glanced over at Reese. "Just ask it."

James shook his head. "Nah it isnt about how yall fit in. I think yall fit in. I wouldnt be standing here talking to you if I didnt think that." he said smiling. "I think ya'll are pretty cool " he said honestly.

Reese rolled her eyes. “Because you use me for target practice.” She paused briefly. “It?” She looked at her friend, amused. “You’ve hit one person twice, or more, maybe, oh I don’t know.” Correcting Joe probably wasn’t the best idea at the moment, but she could care less. James still looked a bit embarrassed, and she gave him a smirk, wondering if he could do the impossible: Getting used to flying playing cards coming at your head.
