Scorpious nodded and ate the food that was on his fork "So do you know how you got your power?" He asked. No one knew how wizards came about but they just did, and if she could see in the future, which she could maybe she had magic in her blood.

Or not.

"You know, had a bunch of dreams, they came true, family got scared, shipped me off. And it all devolped even farther." The apple was done- and Joe was still hungry. "Luckily I have learned to control the power. I don't have dreams as often as I do, and I can make it pop into my head at will. It's all good fun." Hardly, she thought in her head.

Scorpious raised a brow "Doesn't sound like good fun, can anyone even surprise you?" he asked pointing descreetly at Crystal.

"I get surprised all the time. I don't always know the future. Occasionally things pop into my head, but most of the time I can look into things If I want to know. It's not very often that I do. I like the elemant of surprise, ironic, I know." She shuffled her deck, she was now out one card. Hot sun, she wanted to see what Scorpious reading was. She had a bit of a smirk on her face as she thought that though. Then she thought, at one point she would have to face Jame's agaiin to get her card.

"So do you think you can see my future?" he asked with a smirk.

Ki sniggered and looked at Joe, she wanted to see his future too and she was sure that Joe wanted to see. Joe always wanted to see.

Crystal chuckled, she can't remember anyone that had asked her and she had actually agreed but it did seem she liked this guy so she probably would do it for him.

"I can" Joe said as she took a sip of some unknown substance in a cup. She had just drank pumpkin juice, and it actually wasn't all that bad. "Now if I will, that's a totally different question." She smirked looking around. "If you want me too." Joe got up from her seat and took another sip of the pumpkin juice. "You're going to all have to excuse me for a moment."

Joe walked off into corridor. Now where was James? He had his card. Or he was the last one to have it. As she walked she looked at portraits across the walls. Not looking around she bumped into someone.

"Oh I am-" She looked up, it was James who she bumped into. "Oh." A bit of a blush formed across her cheeks.

James smirked as he predicted she came out of the Great Hall. He stayed leaning against the wall. She had tripped over his feet. His arms awere crossed as he leaned there.
"Looking for someoen?" he asked cocking an eyebrow at her.

"Yah, an answer of why your so gosh darn bitter at me. That and my 6 of diamonds." Joe got up and brushed herself off. "What did I ever do to you? You jealous or something?" She bent over to pick up her missing card. She threw it in her pocket with the rest of the deck.

James watched her. "me jealous? Are you insane?" he asked smirking. play it cool She will never have to know that you liked her. Just gotta get over her. Get over her. She wont be here for very long anyways... right???

"Yah well just so you know, it seem different to everyone else around here." Joe shuffled her deck. Why was she making such a big deal out of it. Perhaps she liked him? No, she couldn't

James shrugged. "Like I care what everyone else thinks." he said still leaning against the wall. "Why do you care anyway?" he asked lightly looking down at her cards.

Joe stood there as he asked the same question as she did herself. She threw her hands up in the air. "Honestly, I don't know!" She leaned against the wall and slunk down until she was sitting. "I wish I knew."

James looked at her as she fell to the floor. He cocked his eyebrow,. "Okk......" he muttered and shrunk to the floor with her.

"Sorry." She muttered softly. "Just, in the past 24 hours my life has been... everywhere?" She though. Her boyfriend dumped her, she got into a fight with her best friend, she's met some interesting people.

Liz sat down as everyone disappeared in to the Great Hall and watched as James walked out and then eventually Joe. She got up, stretched and walked over to them. "Do either of you know where we're supposed to sit when we eat?"Lizzie honestly had no clue.

"Sorry." Joe got up quickly and put her deck back in her pocket. "I'll stop bothering you."

She walked away from James, and left him against the wall by himself. Why she was so persistant, she wish she knew. Joe walked back to the Slytherin table and sat down.

"Sorry." She said with a smile. "I can to fetch a card."

Liz watched as Joe didn't answer her question and as she went back inside the castle. She turned to James and said,"Would you care to answer my question?"

James laughed at Lizzie and got up from the wall. "Yeah.. well. The great hall has four tables. Depnding on who u best fit with you sit at the table but you can sit with all your other friends. They are at the Slytherin table.Green." he explained and with another smile he turned and walked to the common room settlign tinto his dorms... and slept.

Reese had been watching, simply watching, everything going on. She felt like an idiot. But worst of all, she couldn’t figure out how to fix it either. She followed them inside, turning into a brown owl to blend in with the other birds. When she lost track of Joe, she turned to the group that was left in the great hall. A brief evil thought passed through her mind, and she decided to make a slightly dramatic entrance, just to mess with that Hogwarts kid.

Flying to the ground, she turned back into a human and skidded a few inches across the floor. “Hey, where’d Joe go? I need to talk to her.” She took off the goggles as she spoke, looking back up at the group as she finished. Pocketing the goggles in an inside pocket of the trench coat, she paused, waiting for an answer.

Joe looked up as she heard her name. She slurped up the spagetti noodle that hung out of her mouth and looked where her name come from. Reese stood just a few feet away from the table. "He-" As she tried to talk, a noodle went down the wrong tube- which made her cough strong and hard. After a moment of suffocating she breathed. A blush across her face of how she just choked. "Hey." She said.

Reese gave an obviously worried smile. She was worried about quite a few things. What was she going to say? Was Joe okay? And most of all, how on earth did she miss Joe sitting there? Trying to shake it off, she plopped down on the bench across from her friend. “Hey.” She paused a moment, not sure what to say. “Er, I totally screwed up there didn’t I?” She made sure she wasn’t sitting on the coat, leaving the tails to blow behind her.

Joe laughed nervously as she took a drink of water. "We both kind of did." She wasn't going to deny that Reese messed up, but all the fault wasn't on her. "I snapped, sorry. You had good intentions."

Reese nodded. “Yea.” She sort of answered everything in one word. She propped her head up on her elbow, gently drumming her fingers on the table. “I’m sorry, I just…” she trailed off, frowning slightly. “Well, you know.” Her life before Montana had pretty much sucked, and Joe knew that. She ran a hand through her hair, sighing heavily.

"yah, of coarse." Joe nodded and put down her glass. "And just so you know- me and Dave." Joe ran her finger across her throat as the international- death/ slit throat sign. "Yah no more. Scare him." At this moment she didn't really feel like getting into details.

she then realized they were having this deep conversation surrounded by their friends- plus Scorpious. Joe gave off another laugh. "But enough of that. Jocasta is back on the market and ready to play the cards." Joe shuffled her deck and put it down on the table.

"So Scorpious." She turned her attention back to the boy. "Still up for a little card fun?"
