Before I give the plot I want to make some rules clear

Rules
1. All SS rules apply.
2. Everyone must stay acctive.
3. If you can't stay acctive try your best to tell me before the RP starts.
4. If to people want the same role the person who posts a bio first gets it.

Ok now the plot.

It is Valentine's Day and Hogwarts is going to throw a big ball in honor of the occasion. They are inviting all of there sister schools to attend the ball too. It is the week before the ball and everyone is stressing about who they are going to ask. Trina has had her eye on a guy named Patrick for a while and she knew that he liked her. There was even a rumor going around that he was going to ask her to the ball. All of a sudden he ask the new girl at Hogwarts Kyla. Trina is terribly upset but then finds that Kyla has cast a love charm on Patrick so that he would ask her. Then she also finds out that Kyla has four other guys under a spell so that they would go with her too. The bad news is the four other guys are Trina's four best friend's crushes and that they all wanted to ask her four best friends too. Will Trina and her friends be able to break the charm before it is to late?

"Oh I've been fine. Really busy with school work. Especially charms. How have you been?" Trina looked into Cameron's blue eyes. They reminded her of Patrick's. She looked down at her arm.

Shaun was in the middle of pouring himself a glass of punch when suddenly he was being pulled back to the dance floor. Lucky that he hadn't spilled any of the beverage on his suit, he quickly set the drink down on the edge of the table and let Sam drag him off. Ohhh, that muggle song that she liked was on. He hadn't ever heard the whole song before, but he did his best to dance to it.

Cameron nodded as she told him about how she had been busy, but fine overall. The song came to an end and he slowly made his way off the dance floor as he talked with Trina. "Ah, of course. The never-ending menace of homework." He smiled at her, noticing that she kept looking at his eyes.

"Oh, I've been just fine," he assured her. "The usual, I suppose." He spotted a small piece of lint on his sleeve and carefully picked it off and dropped it to the ground. "And..?" He smiled charmingly. "Any news in the area of love?"

Keith's brow arched when Cameron entered the great hall in all his glory. Keith despised that boy, he really did or was he a itsy bitsy jealous? Sneaking glances at Cameron, Keith frowned when he started to flirt with Trina, and oh look, Trina was all over him too. What is up with girls? They are one complex creature.

Keith beamed when Sam stepped up and tugged Trina away. She DID the right thing, Trina shouldn't think about any boy except Pat. Plus Mr. Cameron 'The Killer' was a nasty heartbreaker, welll killer because Keith over heard a few girls giggling and chatting how Cameron can kill anyone with his looks, yeah Riiiight. Clearing his throat, Keith walked over to the refreshment table when Kat left him for a few minutes to defend Trina's rights.

Keith poured 2 glasses of punch for him and Kat. Leaning back on the table, he took out the little gift box and sighed deeply at the thought of it. This was a big decision but he did get the green signal from his Grandparents so no worries.

"Here's your drink." He handed her the punch. Keith's mind was racing, where should he take Kat? Somewhere romantic and airy? Sam will know.
"Excuse Me Kat, I'll be right back." Keith strode towards the dance floor and made his way towards Sam and Shaun, "SHAUN CAN I BORROW SAM FOR A SECOND?" It was so hard to talk when the music was blasting in the great hall, one of the reason Keith hates loud music.

Trina's heart dropped when he asked about the love area thing. She thought about it for a moment. She had been through a lot the past few days. Patrick had been in love with a total stranger and now he was a cat and it was all really confusing. She couldn't decide, yes or no?! Agh!!"Um, no." she finally said. Hopefully Patrick wouldn't find out about this...

Kat took the glass of punch from Keith and took a sip. "Thanks, I needed that. Trina deserves to have a little fun during the dance, I know that Pat's going to be a human again at a quarter to midnight, but do except the boy to be ready in 15 minutes? I don't think so." Kat said, taking another long sip of punch. "Am I talking too mu-where you going?" Keith was already gone though. Wonder where he's going...oh well. She thought shrugging to herself.

Scanning the floor for Trina and Cameron, Kat noticed them a little off and she defiantly noticed the slightly sad expression on Trina's face. Oh no, something was going wrong, well looked like it was time for Super Kat. Setting her glass of punch down Kat walked over to the two, smiling causally. "Hello you two, enjoying the dance?" She asked. This felt so wrong, Trina was supposed to be with Pat, but he probably wasn't gonna make it, why should Trina have a miserable time?

"Hey Kat. Yup we were just talking. A-about st-stuff." Trina stammered. She let her hair fall over her face to cover a blush. Pull it together Trina! She thought to herself. Man she really missed Pat- Don't even go there. She was going to have a good time with Cameron, darn it! Wether she liked it or not! And to be honest she kind of did, he was really cute.

Shaun chuckle a bit as Keith basically shouted at him so that he could be heard over the music. "Sure, she's all yours.. for the moment," he added the last part and winked at Sam. "Just don't be mad at me if she bites your head off for making her miss the lyrics to this muggle song."

Cameron quirked an eyebrow. As an expert at lying, he could definitely tell when other people weren't telling the truth, and Trina certainly wasn't. "Oh, really? Heh. That's good, then," he commented. "Because last time I heard, you were supposedly falling for that kid Patrick. But I'm glad that's not true." Hah. Patrick. He was such a git; Cameron really couldn't understand how Trina liked him.

It wasn't long before Kat appeared by their sides, and he greeted the girl with a smile. "Hey, Kat." He nodded. "Of course. How could I not be when I have such a brilliant dance partner?" He let his hands find their place behind his back. "I saw you dancing not too long ago, by the way. I didn't realize you were so good at it! I strongly believe the girls around here must be out to make us males look like gorillas on the dance floor."

Sam smiled at Shaun, then followed Keith over to the entrance to the Great Hall, covering her ears. When the music finally was soft enough that Sam could hear herself think, she turned to Keith and said, "So, why did you want to borrow me and interrupt my awesome dance moves to one of my fave muggle songs?" Sam wasn't trying to accuse Keith of anything, she hoped he knew that. The Sam noticed a little box in Keith's hand and, pointing to it, asked, "What's in the box? Something for Kat I presume?" She smiled, looking back up at Keith.

She said. When Cameron began complementing Kat's dancing she blushed, letting it show. "Why thank you Cameron, but I'm not as good as Jada over there." Kat said nodding her head towards Jada, who was twirling at that very moment.

Turning his blue eyes to Kat, Cameron's lips slowly formed into a smile as he noticed her blushing. How adorable was she? "Hey Kat, you look good in red," he teased. He slipped his hands into his pockets and glanced towards Keith while Kat wasn't watching. "Do you have a minute, Kat?"

Kat thought that the comment about Pat crawling back to Trina was a bit uncalled for, but she let it pass, considering that Cameron had no idea what had happened in the last two days. "I look good in anything....Except for neon colors, those aren't really my shades." She said. When Cameron asked if Kat had a minute, she looked at Trina, then glanced at Keith. "Uh, I don't think Trina would mind." She said.

Kat followed Cameron to the punch table, giving Trina a Sorry-that-I'm-such-an-idiot look. She felt awful taking Cameron away from Trina, but it was to late, Kat hadn't even been thinking when Cameron asked to talk to her. "No thanks, I'm fine. So what did you wanna talk to me about?" She asked, looking up at Cameron. Why did he have to be so....CUTE!

"Suit yourself," Cameron answered, taking a sip of the punch himself. He swallowed, then set the glass back onto the table and looked at Kat. "Now, I'm sorry to keep you from.." He swallowed purposely to restrain himself from uttering the boy's name with too much disgust. After all, he had to at least pretend to like Keith while Kat was around. "..Keith McLean." Pheww. Glad that was over with. "But, still. I hope that maybe, if you don't mind of course, you would consider hanging out with me tomorrow at Hogsmeade. There's actually a new place that hasn't opened up yet, but I know the owner and he's having sort of a 'VIP' party before the grand opening." He flashed a smile and added the next part, just in case. "You can bring your friends, of course. It's just something new to do.. after all, Hogsmeade can get a little boring after a while."

"Hangout tomorrow? Well I'm not really busy, but I might consider it, it sounds like fun." She said, deciding that she might as well have some punch, her throat felt a little dry. Pouring herself a glass she sipped it. "But if I do come, I will definatly be bringing my friends." She added.

Glancing over at Keith and Sam, Kat noticed that he was showing something to Sam. Wonder what it is.... Curiousty was getting the best of her. Maybe she could hide behind one of those chubby Hufflepuffs and see wha-NO Kat, stop being so nosy!

OCC: Psst...Gryfindorgurl...the second one!!!!! Kat loves that one! *sneaks away*

"Fair enough," Cameron replied, knowing that he would have preferred a definite 'yes,' but he was certainly pleased with the 'maybe.' He smiled, taking one last sip of his punch before making the glass disappear altogether.

"Well, I hope to see you and your friends tomorrow night. If you wouldn't mind letting me know by tomorrow morning..?" He combed his fingers through his hair, and somehow every blond strand seemed to fall perfectly back into place. "Anyway, enjoy the rest of the dance, Kat. Say 'hello' to Keith for me." And with one final parting smile, he disappeared through the masses of dancing Hogwarts students.

"Alright, I will, bye." Kat said as Cameron walked away in the crowd of students. Leaning against the table, Kat let out a sigh of relief, blowing her bangs out of her face in the process. Walking back over to Trina she said, "Well, that was a waste of time. And I'm sorry for taking Cameron away from you, I wasn't thinking." She said. "Those two are really getting to me, wonder what their talking about...."

Sam's eyes got wide as she put her hands over her mouth and squealed. Ohmegosh!!! Keith was proposing to Kat? OMG OMG OMG!!! "Well, she's definitely going to like the second one cause' it has a big fat diamond in the center." After a couple of minutes of awkward silence while Sam still staring at the rings, she finally snapped out of it and asked, "Wait, do you wanna know where Kat's fave spot is? Sorry, I COMPLETELY forgot! It's the Lake. She LOVES the lake!" Sam giggled, she was still a little giddy from all the punch she drank. Hopefully there wasn't TOO much butter-beer in it.

It really was, it gave her a little time to think about the lie she had told about not liking someone. She looked back to Keith and Sam when Kat mentioned it."It's probably nothing." Trina smiled.

Kat shrugged her shoulders. "I don't want to go shopping." She said. Now this was a shocker, Kat's favorite thing to do was shop, she lived to shop, shopping was her life. But right now just didn't seem like the time to wanna go shopping at all. She sighed and brushed her bangs aside again.

Trina's jaw dropped."Did I just hear what I think I just heard? Katherine Dems does not want to go shopping?! What is wrong with you?" Trina knew this was not normal behavior for Kat.

Sighing again, Kat turned and looked at Trina. "Keith just reminded me that he's graduating this year." She said. "It sucks! I finally get him to ask me out, go through the whole Kyla thing, but I only get him for about three or four months." She said twirling a strand of hair. "I can't even go five minutes without looking at him, let alone a whole year!"
