There were plenty or pretty girls in the Great Hall to choose, why did he have to pick Trina? Then a thought hit Sam very suddenly? What is Kyla had something to do with this? What if she had bribed Cameron into distracting Trina to forget about Patrick, then she would have him for the last 15 minutes of the dance! NO WAY! That could NEVER happen! But as soon as Sam as about to go over and tell Trina her thoughts, one of her fave song's by a muggle artist came one. She had to dance with Shaun for this song, it was to much! Quote:

Shaun was in the middle of pouring himself a glass of punch when suddenly he was being pulled back to the dance floor. Lucky that he hadn't spilled any of the beverage on his suit, he quickly set the drink down on the edge of the table and let Sam drag him off. Ohhh, that muggle song that she liked was on. He hadn't ever heard the whole song before, but he did his best to dance to it.
Cameron nodded as she told him about how she had been busy, but fine overall. The song came to an end and he slowly made his way off the dance floor as he talked with Trina. "Ah, of course. The never-ending menace of homework." He smiled at her, noticing that she kept looking at his eyes.
"Oh, I've been just fine," he assured her. "The usual, I suppose." He spotted a small piece of lint on his sleeve and carefully picked it off and dropped it to the ground. "And..?" He smiled charmingly. "Any news in the area of love?"
