"You don't know do you?" Tanner asked almost dejectedly, slumping back down in his seat. This sucked but at least he had some kind of idea where to go looking for Jada. "So umm do you guys know if anyone has asked Jada to the dance yet?" he asked, trying to sound disinterested but not completely succeeding with his task.

"I'm busy with school to you know. If I wasn't they probably would have kicked me out ages ago from all the stunts I've pulled. To them my only saving grace is that I get good grades in basically every class." Which was true. Tanner ranked in the top ten of all his classes and just this morning the headmaster had told him that it was only his grades that were keeping him here. Not that he needed them since he intended to be a pianist but still. "Oh and I don't sing. I act and play the piano, Jada is the one who sings and she puts everyone else's voices to shame."
