Winter, 2063.
Its abit past mid november, slowly but surely making its way to december. Certain places in Canada already had snow, or where expecting it. And most of the younger kids, Angelina Johnson knew, would be getting out for winter break tomorrow.

It would be the perfect time to have her grandchildren and their little friends over. With the older grandkids still away at wizarding schools, Angelina would atleast get some bonding time in with the younger group. But when their week of fun turns into something odd, wizarding family or not, what happens..?

Okay, Since I don't mind if others join, (I know the normal group will join of course.) If you want to join, I encourage you too! Just pretend your character and/or his/her parents know my characters Grandmother, Angelina Johnson, If they don't know Kaitlynnh or Julian yet. If you have any questions just ask, or better yet PM me! And Please please keep in mind, the kids are normally from six to seven, so I'd prefer no younger then five, and no older then eight.

Julian frowned slightly. Only now begining to feel abit guilty. When it came to his sister.. it didn't make him feel that way, He knew Katie too well; She was indeed a chicken. But when it came to their friends, especially the girls, that did get to him. "Erm. Its alright. Rissa, I promise. I've been in here before, and we're the only living things left. Nothing will hurt any of us.." Hopefully that came as somewhat comforting.

Carissa looked at Julian. "Thanks" She said still somewhat unsure if she felt any better. She norammly got sacred she didn't cry normally at all or get really upset but she did get scared. Carissa kept telling herself your eight years old that means that your supposed to be brave. Its just that being brave wasn't really her strong point.

Legend shrugged then walked back to Caleb and ushered the other boy to follow him up the stairs. When he saw Carissa shaking he gave her a small smile. "Yeah Don't be scared i'm sure it was just the wind...or something....hey wouldn't it be cool if it was like a crazy animal? Like a bear? Then we would all be like AHHH and some of us would be like waaaaa. Then the bear would be lika RAWRRR. And then..." He ranted forgetting all about trying to cheer the girl up. "Er I mean yeah....Jul's right."

Carissa looked at Legend. "Ya, your not helping." She said looking at him. If it was a bear she would be the first one running back to the house. No wait, the bear would be outside so she would be the last one to leave this house. Why did she have to get scared so easily.

Brigitte busted out laughing when Legend started talking about the bear. "That was a good one." She said putting her hand up to give him a high-five. I was so funny when Carissa was scared.

Axel chuckled after she called him a nerd. So what? He was if he slid down the banister, at least in her opinion. "Oh you're just jealous because you could never do it like me and Ben," he teased, sticking out his tongue. Lord, he felt like a kid again..in love.

Whoah. Did she just studder when she said 'I love you'? Was she talking about me? Look, her cheeks are getting red. Should I tell her? "I-I..." He stopped suddenly when she moved on, kicking himself for doing so. Idiot! She wasn't talking about you! Axel Hunter Phoenix, you've got to stop these emotions! They'll get you into so much trouble with Ben! As if it wasn't awkward enough, his hand accidently brushed hers as he lifted it up to run through his hair. His sea green eyes looked around the room, trying to be as subtle as possible.

"I understand. We acted like immature monkies half the time," he laughed. The two had definitely gotten their fair share of detentions at school, but also getting in trouble with Angelina. As she moved her hand over her face, he frowned slightly. "Headache?" he asked quietly, secretly hoping it was something else.

"That's what I like to 'ear?" Jae chuckled at Julian's answer. He was getting along well with all of the boys. He was very happy indeed. He then turned to Katie and smiled warmly. "Don't worry. We'll make sure nothin' happens to any of us," he assurred her. He then chuckled at Legend. He was very funny indeed.

"C'mon," he said quietly, ushering young Danny upstairs. He stopped on the landing in the hallway, noticing that many of the doors were either fall off or completely gone. "Eva' been in one of those rooms Jules?" he asked, stretching his hand out to touch the wood. It definitely was old, seeing as bits of it fell off when he ran his finger over it.

Danny chuckled as Legend began rambling. His face lit up as he laughed. He then felt a tug from Jae and he followed behind him. As the older boy stopped to exam the wood, he tilted his head. "Is it bad if its old?" he asked curiously. He didnt know if that was a bad thing or if it was just not nice to look at.

"Sorry." Legend replyed with a grin to Carissa then he high fived Brigitte. "For once I didn't mean to scare anyone." he said still wearing the grin. Even if he had meant to scare someone it wouldn't have been Carissa. She had not done anything wrong to him, so he wouldn't do anything wrong to her...purposly.

Then he gave Jae a challanging look. "How do you know nothing will happen to us? What if this forest just happened to get lit on fire then this old hosue was on fire, then we were all like trapped then-" He shook his head. I gotta stop doing that. Maybe he had a little too much candy.

Kaitlynnh frowned deeply at Legends words. "I agree with Carissa. Your no help Legend." He was awfully good at making the girls nervous! That was forsure.. blasted boy.

"Your all coo-coo bananas if you think I'm leaving the house first. For all we know there really is a bear waiting for us outside. Julian, your going first." Her tone showed no sign what so ever that she could be kidding.

Grinning widely, Julian bursted into laughter as he couldn't stop himself from doing so. Legend was a complete riot! He was. "Nice one," He smirked and laughed again, sticking his tongue out in response to Kaitlynnh.

The faintest smile started to form on her lips once more, when he said she was just jealous because he and Ben could do it much better then her. "I'd like to see you and him try. Both in a skirt or dress and heels," She challened softly. Of course she knew neither could or would try this.

Removing the hand from her face, Emmylyne ran a hand through her wavy blondish brown hair. Brownish green eyes fixed on the countertop in thought. "No, I don't feel very good right now. Nothing big," She shrugged slightly. It wasn't exactily a lie, not at all really, she was merely leaving things out.

Julian shook his head. "Nope, we never made it this far, Miss Coo Coo Bananas didn't want to stay." He replied. Wondering the opposite way down the right hall.

"Shuttup Jul!" Katie whined, slightly. A small scared squeak escaped from her mouth, when Legend suggested such horrible things. Ohh dear. She wanted to leave now.. erm, No she didn't! Oh no.

Jae shrugged and rubbed his fingers together gently, watching the residue fall quietly to the termite-eaten floor. "Depends on how old it is Dan," he told him. He then turned around and chuckled at Legend. "You're too much. That's...well...not impossible," he said quietly, chuckling and smiling at Legend. Hey, it could happen, but it was very unlikely. At least, he thought so.

Looking down at Danny, he smiled. "Wanna have a look in one of the rooms?" he asked. "No worries, we'll stay togetha' the whole time," he assurred him before he made a face that suggested that he absolutely didn't wanna go. He hoped he was making the boy feel a bit more apart of everything. He was so quiet. Jae just adored him.

He chuckled at the lovely name Julian called his sister: not. "Well it's new to all of us then," he said with a smile. He then remembered that they couldn't be here too long. Axel and Emmy would be looking for them pretty soon. If they wanted to explore, they'd have to hurry.

Axel bust out laughing, having to sit down in a kitchen chair to stay steady. "Over my dead body! Absolutely no way I'd do that! Hey miss, you never wore many girly things. You always had pants on. I mean, you got dirty with us. C'mon," he said, trying to surpress his laughter.

He furrowed his brow in thought and stood up, walking back to his friend. "D'you want me to get you some medicine or something?" he offered. He wondered if all that was wrong was that she didn't feel well, or if it had something to do with him. Does she have feelings for me? Everything today made it seem like she did.

"Erm..should we call the kids in or should we let them play for a bit longer while I tell you about why I was in St. Mungo's?" he asked with a sly grin. He knew she was chomping at the bit to know where he'd gone. To tell the truth, he wanted so badly to tell her as well.

Danny watched as Jae flicked off a few of the old wood pieces. He then looked at the doors to rooms they couldnt see. He would go if Jae was with him. He was really looking up to the older boy. He turned his head upward and looked at Jae with his big brown eyes. "Ok. But can I hold onto your shirt?" he asked him. His cheeks went a little pink as he realized how childish he sounded, but he was scared of getting lost.

He then looked at his cousins and Legend. They made him laugh how Katie was always yelling at them. He hoped they werent hurting her feelings though. He hated seeing people sad. Looking back at Jae, he asked, "Are they coming too?"

Ah. She was caught. Fair enough. "Fine.. your right," Axel was definitally right. Although she had gone to Beauxbatons, and had enjoyed it there, the place did NOT turn into a girly girl. She was still herself, more comfortable with the boys really.. or atleast her two boys.

Shaking her head frantically, at her best friends offer. Emmy quickly bussied herself with finding a pizza cutter. As she didn't want to be close to him, it gave her that odd flutter in her tummy, something she was sure she could place a name on but refrained from doing so. As she shouldn't be feeling that way at all.
Going back to the pizzas, the found pizza cutter in hand, Emmylyne froze near the counter. Call the kids in.. or let him tell her. "Lets get the kids in here, then we'll go outside for abit while their eatting." That had been a hard choice, but it was a better idea. No matter how badly she wanted to know.

"I'll round up the kids, would you please cut the pizzas?" Em asked, leaving the pizza cutter near the pizzas. Turning, Emmy strolled out into the hall, taking a left into the living room. She found the older kids, and her daughter. "Wyatt, Jordan, Exelsior, Monica, Teresa, Into the kitchen please." She called loudly, to get their attentions and clapped her hands together, letting them fall folded infront of her with a kind smile. She was quite good, at hiding her feelings.

Continuing over to the lovely fourteen year old, relieving her of the child. "Thankyou Jordan. Your pretty good with kids, Lainie atleast." She complimented. It was true, she kept this little one quiet. Em had to give her props.

Putting the blanket, and toys back into the light pastel rainbow colored baby bag. After adjusting the strap, Em put it over one shoulder and her daughter on the other hip. "Kay. Kids, Kitchen. Please," She said once more. Walking behind the couch, She tapped Wyatt on the head.

Kaitlynnh walked no further then to the middle of the hall, Looking between groups, she merely stayed there. Careful to what she was doing, and the things around her. "Lets go soon..please," She asked in a mumble, playing with the blue glittery butterfly clip she had in her hand. It looked awhole lot like a real butterfly, except underneath was a clip for your hair.

"Calm down, would you?" Julian asked, rolling his eyes as he traveled down the hall, coming to a halt near a door. Deciding to go inside, Jul turned the knob and pushed on the frail door. Everything in the house seemed creeky, old, weak, and down right abandonded. This room was no different.

Slowly approaching his surroundings, the boy found it odd, that the mattress on what was left of the bed frame was barely a mattress at all, but the springs. Burnt.. boxsprings. That was interesting.. He was begining to wander what had happened to this place, what it had looked like before and many other questions along those lines.

Wyatt was quiet while Monica and Excelsior showed them something and started explaining. He was totally lost and not really sure if he should remember hearing of this before or not. then Mon finally told them their 'cousin' was actually their brother. that came as a shock even to him. "Wow that's.. great, right?" He still felt a little lost but left that alone. when his dark brown eyes traveled over to Em's kid and Jordan he noticed her roll her eye's looking away from him. the smallest curious smirk crossed his face but Wyatt didn't say anything since he planned to talk to her again alittle later. "Whaaaaat?" the fifteen year old carried the word on in a groan when he felt his half-sister poke his head.

Teri scanned the pages of the book and read thorugh the little information about her dead parents and her own birth certificate. Then it was all true and there written in stone. Excelsior was her bigbrother. She was about to ask about why they had been separated but her sister answered that question. Teri knew that uncle Romulus always had been a bit different from her other uncle's but to take her brother just to prove a point, was unbelievable.. As monica showed her the picture of their parents Teri started to cry uncontrollably. She cuddled up to her sister's chest crying and whispering silently "We have a bigbrother...what does all this mean?? How am i supposed to react? Please, don't leave me! I don't know if i am supposed to be happy or sad. Why did mum and dad have to die?" Teri continued to cry and shiver in her sister's arms to shocked and confussed. Seeing the picture of her parents had been too much.

Her eyes narrowed in a fake glare. Tapping the teenage boy thrice more on the head, Emmylyne then moved her hand onto her hip. "Don't you whine at me, Wyatt Dustin Saunders." As she spoke, her lips curved into a playful smirk. "Come now, Did you hear nothing I said?" It was rather fun, being sort of motherly with the boy. And after knowing him as long as she did, Em knew he either hadn't been paying attention or had simply tuned her out.

Because she was trying to get everyone in the kitchen for dinner, and he, being related to her, would be easiest to demand him into the blasted kitchen without seeming rude or anything similar. "You would like to know, wouldn't you?" Em asked, an amused expression grazing her pretty face. "Maybe next time you'll listen, hmm?" Ruffling his brown hair, that was indeed already messy enough, Emmylyne went back out of the room.

Going to the kitchen once more. Where she was met with the lovely smell of home-made pizzas. "Yaaauuuuumm." Lainie squealed, delighted with the delicious smell that met her nose, too.

'sure will." that was doubtful. raising a brow while he watched her simply walk away without saying anything else Wyatt followed after. now wondering why she had called them into the kitchen. when he walked in after he smelled the food too, "Oh dinner time?" He was oblivious, asn't he? draipping a arm over the back of a dining room chair he stood by, Wyatt nodded to the older man in the room. "Oi. Lyne. that's not Benjamin."

"Bingo." Approaching Lainies highchair, Em put the little girl in it, and slid the tray back on after grabbing it from the side. Lainies hazel eyes wandered around the kitchen, thumb in mouth, as she waited for some of that delicious smelling stuff. Food had started tasting so much better after she'd gotten four teeth, Mummy let her have some soft foods, instead of just mushy foods.

Traveling into the more kitchen-y part of the large room, the young mother grabbed a banana from the fruit bowl that sat on the counter and peeled it, taking a butter-knife from the drour and started chopping it into pieces. Only one found its way into her mouth.

Swallowing the yellow, potassium-filled fruit, Emmylyne smiled, glancing to Axel. "I'm so glad you noticed, I was begining to wonder if that accident caused any permanet damage to your brain." Her sentance dripped with sarcasm, and she gave Wyatt an innocent look before putting her attention back on the task at hand.

"Don't mind him, Ax, hes being abit bashful." She added casually. Tossing the banana chunks into a small plastic yellow bowl she'd found in the cabinet above, Before moving on to wash her hands. "Thats Wyatt, by the way. If you don't remember him, already."

Excelsior understood why Teri was shocked, he had been shocked when he found out the news, and she was only 9 years old, after all. He knew that Monica would be the best one to handle the situation at this point, but right now he wanted to let Teri know that he was here for her, that he was her big brother and that he wished he could have been there with her all these years. A tear formed out of the corner of his eye, which he quickly wiped away. "It's okay," he said. "It's all gonna be okay."

Caleb was very very nervous to go into the old house. He wasn't sure how safe it was but he couldn't possibly turn down such an exciting exploring adventure as this and so he had followed everyone else into the house. Standing in the old house was very scary. The tension was building as everyone thought something was going to happen. Caleb laughed to himself as Legend tried to scared the girls, only being somewhat successful and Caleb followed Legend up the old, rotting stairs.

Teri looked down at the carpet thinking thorugh what she had just heard. Still trying to understand what having a bigbrother meant. It was huge and scary to think about.

Teri was drawn back from her thoughts by her sister's voice. She listened as her sister explained how she and Excelsior had found out his relation to them. Teri scanned the pages of the book and read thorugh the little information about her dead parents and her own birth certificate. Then it was all true and there written in stone. Excelsior was her bigbrother. She was about to ask about why they had been separated but her sister answered that question. Teri knew that uncle Romulus always had been a bit different from her other uncle's but to take her brother just to prove a point, was unbelievable.. As monica showed her the picture of their parents Teri started to cry uncontrollably. She cuddled up to her sister's chest crying and whispering silently "We have a bigbrother...what does all this mean?? How am i supposed to react? Please, don't leave me! I don't know if i am supposed to be happy or sad. Why did mum and dad have to die?" Teri continued to cry and shiver in her sister's arms to shocked and confussed. Seeing the picture of her parents had been too much.

Monica held her baby sister tight, just as she had done all her young life. She took Excelsior's hand with her free one. "Teri, baby girl I know this is hard for you to understand. This is supposed to be a happy time. It means that the three of us are together now and nothing is going to change that. Uncle Draco told me he is going to do everything possible to bring Excelsior home with us, where he belongs." She shivered slightly as Teri asked again why Mum and Dad had to die, she shivered because she had the answer and it wasn't pretty. She took a deep breath and told them. "Mum and Dad were part of a group known as The Order of the Phoenix, the same as Uncle Sirius was. Only this time mum and dad were not fighting "He Who Must Not Be Named" but instead they were fighting against his Gandson, "Lord Voldemortist." She shivered again slightly.

"No not yet.. we'll see when the next accident happen's." Bashful. as in shy? right.. "I'm not." Wyatt disagreed quickly. "I just don't know who he is. and why would he remember me when i don't know him?" God this woman was confusing! How were they related again??? "And where is Benjamin?" and the question's kept on rollin.

Excelsior shuddered, hearing the name spoken of the terrible person who had killed his parents. He recovered quickly, wanting this to be a happy occasion for all of them. "What we found out is really amazing, but it's like a miracle has happened, in a way. It was meant that we should discover the truth and be together as a family, I know it was! Teri, I know it's hard for you to understand and it might take a little while, but you can do it! I do love both of you very much, I want you to know that. We are family, and always will be."
