Winter, 2063.
Its abit past mid november, slowly but surely making its way to december. Certain places in Canada already had snow, or where expecting it. And most of the younger kids, Angelina Johnson knew, would be getting out for winter break tomorrow.

It would be the perfect time to have her grandchildren and their little friends over. With the older grandkids still away at wizarding schools, Angelina would atleast get some bonding time in with the younger group. But when their week of fun turns into something odd, wizarding family or not, what happens..?

Okay, Since I don't mind if others join, (I know the normal group will join of course.) If you want to join, I encourage you too! Just pretend your character and/or his/her parents know my characters Grandmother, Angelina Johnson, If they don't know Kaitlynnh or Julian yet. If you have any questions just ask, or better yet PM me! And Please please keep in mind, the kids are normally from six to seven, so I'd prefer no younger then five, and no older then eight.

Emmy rolled her eyes, not believing the boy as she knew he wouldn't. "Yep! Next thing you know, you take him to a zoo in another country, and within the week he'll be in a marriage to a very large ap." As she spoke this, the little one giggled. Rubbing her hands together that had banana mush on them, from when she'd decided to play with the food instead.

"So, what do you lot have planned for this week?" Em asked, curiously, taking a sip of her sprite.

"Don't kid about that Lynzie. it's not nice, what if it does happen? you wouldn't leave me there.. you'd miss me to much." Wyatt made a fake frown. though when he looked to Monica a real one replaced it. nudging her, he said concernedly "You okay Mon?"

"I'm fine, I just can't eat too much right now." She said softly, she didn't want to worry Wyatt. Her low appetite was just part of her recovery and the healers said it might happen.

Wyatt blinked. that was odd. it better not be one of those girl thing's were the girl just didn't want to eat anything really because they were afraid to lose their figure or whatever. but he did not ask because he was likely to offend both her and Lyne with that remark. "Are you feeling okay?" he asked instead, rubbing her hand with his thumb as he took her hand.

"I'm alright, it's just that the healers said that I might loose my appetite after having been sick for so long." She hoped that would help him remember that she was still recovering form her Uncle's poisioning of her. "Sometimes, you may just have to force me to eat." She said softly, squeezing his hand, she looked up at him with her now green eyes.

I wish i knew more about uncle Sirius.. He seemed to have been an honourable and respected man." After a few seconds she asked "Was mum and dad killed by the dark lord and his followers?"Uncle Draco had told her stories about the death eaters and the dark lord but she didn't know if all the stories were actually true but then again why shouldn't they be?

Excelsior smiled at his little sister. "Of course, Teri, I would love nothing better than to read a Christmas story to you after dessert. Nothing would make me happier." And it was really true, he thought. It was such a miracle that this family was back together again, almost unbelievable. He was really happy, the girls were so precious to him. He wanted the three of them to stay together, always. They had spent so many years apart.

Somehow, Excelsior felt everything was going to work out okay for once. Things were changing for the better.

Excelsior wished Monica would eat more, too, but she had explained about the terrible ordeal she had gone through, how it was hard for her to eat or sleep. He would help her in any way he could.

Jae smiled as Danny climbled onto his back, noisting him up and making sure he was secure. "Alright?" he asked, making sure the boy was ready to leave. Like he could guess that. Of course he was ready. Jae could definitely tell that Danny was scared, but then again, a lot of the kids were.

Once he got the okay from Danny, Jae started down the stairs after Julian, checking behind him every now and again to make sure everyone was following. He hoped that Emmy wouldn't find out where they went, but then again, Axel wouldn't care. He knew his eldest cousin was just as much an adventurer as he was. Actually, that's who James got it from in the first place. Well, him and their grandfather.

Axel chuckled. "Mister? I haven't heard that since the last time my mother reprimanded me for giving Dusty a wedgie," he laughed, nudging his best friend slightly in the arm. He was actually hoping that the reason she wanted to go outside was so they could be alone. Well, not alone..in that way. Oh lord, stop talking.

"I'm glad you knew I wasn't Ben. That takes a smart guy right there," he chuckled. He could definitely see why Emmy's and Wyatt's personalities clashed, but then again he was her best friend and they weren't exactly polite to eachother. In their own specific way I suppose. "Shall we then?" he asked, gesturing to the door. He wanted to spill out everything that had happened, but he also didn't want her to go crazy and think it was a terrible traumatic experience. Although that wasn't an extent to imagine.

Of course, the young man laughed slightly when Emmylyne made up a totally weird thing to say to Wyatt to make sure he was paying attention. It brought him back to when they were kids. She used to do that all the time when him and Benji were scheming and she was trying to tell them a story. Obviously, it didn't end well some of the time. She usually got mad at them, but ended up forgiving them in the end and laughing it off.

Taking another sip of her soda, Emmylynes attention turned to one of the kids; Teresa. Good question. Holding up a finger, in a sign of 'One moment' She hopped gracefully off the counter and wandered over to the freezer. She had to suppress a laugh, seeing all the different flavors of ice creams and sherberts. "Ice cream. But, the deal is, I want you lot to finish up eatting, and get into your PJs and all ready for bed. Then we'll have dessert," Inbetween that, She'd be putting Lainie down for bed too..

Closing the door once more and stroking her arm quickly trying to get warmth back in it after the freezing cold air had hit it, Em playfully scowled at Ax. Nudging him back gently before walking over to check up on her messy daughter. Pizza sauce and mushy banana cream stuff all over the little ones face, and hands. Emmy laughed as Lainie reached out for a hug, that wasn't happening. "Ahh, monster. Food goes in your mouth.. really now, I don't want you taking examples from Uncle Wyatt. Okay darling?"

Taking a baby wipe from the childs bag on the floor beside her, the young mother continued to clean up the little ones face and hands, and anything else that she'd managed to make a mess. Once She was sure there was no more sticky and icky, Emmylyne slid the tray towards her some, allowing her to slip Lainie from her seat. "Here you are," A slight innocent smirk appeared on her lips, as she set the one year old into her half-brothers lap. Ruffling Wyatts hair, once more, Em nodded to Axel. Finally, she was ready to go outside.

Rushing through the woodsy area, Julian kept looking back to make sure they had the full group, Which they did. Reaching the very end, were Grandma Angelinas house was, Jul pushed back branches. Allowing everyone to go ahead of himself, Katie and Mackayla before getting the two girls to follow. "Now remember, let me do the talking." He mumbled, though loud enough for each of them to still hear him.

Right as he went up the few stairs again, to get inside, He halted. Emmy and Axel were standing right there. DRAT. Kaitlynnh was still sort of crying, silent tears were rolling down her paled cheeks. double DRAT.

Motioning for the young man to follow her, Emmylyne walked through the hallway, quietly heading for the end of the corridor; where the door to outside was located.

Great Merlin she couldn't wait to go outside! She had questions and wanted answers. The young woman planned to get every single one of them, too.

Opening the door, Em was only slightly shocked to see the younger kids about to come inside. She was more less shocked to see Katie crying, "What happened?" Were the first words that came out, in a concerned tone.

Jul shook his head as if to say nothing, nudging Kaitlynnh slightly He muttered: "Go on ahead guys," to the rest of them, before gazing up at his sister. "Erm, Nothing Emma. You know how Katie can get.. she just got upset over nothing, and can't seem to calm down."

Although his explanation was untrue, Emmy nodded. Believing him, since this wouldn't have been the first time the young girl had gotten worked up to this extent. "Okay.. Juls, yes, you lot go inside and eat! Get whatever kind of drink you want from the fridge.. and bug Wyatt if you need anything simple." Emmy instructed, adding: "Jul, get Kaitlynnh to eat, I'll be in to fix her up in afew minutes, bear with me kiddo." with a gentle smile, as the young boy nodded silently and headed inside with his friends.

Kaitlynnh said absolutely nothing as their group passed the two young adults. Going down the hall, and a left into the kitchen/dining room. At this point, her twin brother must have left it save enough to leave her be because he let her hand go.

Sniffling slightly, The seven year old went over to the table and took a seat. Rubbing her pinkened eyes, and moving curls from her tearstained cheeks at the same time.

"Whats everyone want to drink.. Theres.. juices.. and sodas.. and yeah, different kinds. Name it and I'll check," Julian called from his seat infront of the open fridgerator. Yes, his seat. All that standing and walking on their adventure had tired him out quite abit.

"Orange soda," Katie answered, softly for herself, while grabbing a piece of nice warm homemade pizza, and took a bite before setting it down on her plate. Mmmmm.

Caleb shuffled into the room after the others hoping that his muddiness wouldn't cause suspiscion. He wiped his shirt again but didn't mention it and dashed to the table hoping the older ones wouldn't notice. Taking a seat next to Julian, Caleb got himself a drink and grabbed a slice of pizza, trying to act like they hadn't just been where they had.

Monica got up to take her and Teri's plates to the sink, where she washed them by hand. Man it stunk not being able to use magic outside of school. She passed Kaitlynnh and gave her a hug and ruffled Ju-Ju's hair as she passed him. "So how is school going for you guys?" She asked.

Mackayla followed the others silently when they went upstairs, trying to show the others - particuarly Legend - that she wasn't a total coward. She didn't bother going in any of the rooms though. That just wasn't going to happen. "I think I'll stay here," she mumbled quietly. "You know, to keep watch.."

After a few moments of twirling a peice of her black hair around her index finger, still trying not to look scared, Kay quickly turned when she heard Kaitlynnh scream. There was something in the house. Ohh Merlin. She looked relieved when Julian said that they were going back, and continued to hold Katie's hand all the way back home.

When she got into the kitchen, the seven year old got herself a peice of pizza and a glass of apple juice before going and sitting down next to Katie. Thankfully, she didn't look nearly as frightened as she had in the house. Just a little in shock. Kayla took a small bite of her pizza and kicked her dangling legs back and forth.

Danny held on tightly to Jae's neck as he began to descend down the stairs. His eyes were still shut tight and his head bounced up and down with each step. He then felt the night air and knew they were outside now. He hung tighted as they started going through the tree branches.

Finally he didnt feel the branched scratching at his skin anymore. Opening his big brown eyes, he saw Emmy and a man he didnt know. He then heard Julian begin to explain that Katie was just being sensitive again. Keeping his head on the older boy's back, he waited for him to follow the rest of them inside.

Axel nodded and smiled at Emmy and followed her silently outside. Finally! He would get to tell her absolutely everything to explain his scarred up face. Once outside, he was about to sit down but noticed the kids coming back instead. One was crying, the same one that was crying earlier, and his cousin was carrying another one. He smiled, thinking of exactly how many times Jae has actually done that to his little brother.

As Emmylyne asked what was wrong, everyone made their way inside minus Julian. Axel stopped Jae out of earshot from Jules and Em and bent down, his hands upon his shoulders. "Anything happen that I should know about?" he whispered, ruffling the boys hairas his sea green eyes surveyed the boys face. He then peeked over his shoulder to see the other boy still holding on tighlty. He smiled and patted the little one on the shoulder. "I'm Axel, Jae's cousin. If you need anything, let me know," he said sweelty. Obviously Jae had made a very good friend so Axel wanted to make sure that the friend wasn't afraid of him, like he thought a few of the kids were earlier. He then stood up and let Jae go inside. "Get some food now," he called after them.

Once they came back from the forest, Jae noticed two figures standing on the porch. Axel and Emmy. Busted. Especially when his eldest cousin stopped him. He smiled slightly as Axel asked him if there was anything he should know, twlight blue eyes looking directly into his sea green ones. He shook his head and winked. "Oh, this is Danny. He's six," he told him as Axel aknowledged the young boy on his back. After Axel finished introducing himself, he walked into the kitchen.

"'Ere we are Dan," James said sweetly, placing him on a chair and sitting down right next to him. He grabbed a piece of pizza then turned to Danny. "Want some chocolate milk?" he asked him as he stood up and made his way to the fridge. Axel had recently taught him how to make the best chocolate milk he'd ever tasted, so of course he'd want to share it with his new friend.

After all the kids went inside, Axel sat down on a bench that just happened to be located where they had come out of the house. He grinned up at her and stayed silent, letting curiosity eat away at her for only a moment longer. "Alright. Ask away. I'll tell you my story that way," he concluded, patting the spot next to him on the bench. Here we go.

Danny gave the older boy a gentle squeeze as the man he didnt know stopped Jae and asked if anything had happened. He then let a pink blush escape as the man introduced himself as Axel. He always got the shyest when meeting somebody new for the first time. But the man didnt seem scary, he just got scared of meeting somebody new for the first time. He blinked up at the man and gave him a tiny smile. If Jae liked him, then Danny was going to like him too!

As Jae placed him on a chair he looked around the kitchen with his big eyes and smelled food. It made his stomach grumble and he wondered if they could eat now. The last time he remembered eating was with his dad back home. It was right before he was about to arrive here. He remembered it vividly cause his dad had made him go to his room and change before coming to grandma's because he had gotten pancake syrup all over his shirt. Hearing Jae offer him some chocolate milk, a grin went onto the little six year olds face.

"Yes please." He said happily. He loved chocolate milk. It was his favorite thing to drink, besides apple juice. He set his hands on his legs as his feet (which didnt even hit the floor) swung back and forward. He was glad he had come over to his grandma Angelina's house.

Legend followed everyone back to the house. Great Katie has to always ruin everything. He thought and they went into the house. He took some apple juice and a piece of pizza. He sat down beside Caleb and tryed to get Julian's attention. "Can we go back again?" He muttered in his lowest voice. "Without some people." Legend said looking straight at Katie.

Julian shrugged at Monicas question. "Its a school.. in paris, with muggle kids who most don't know what magic is. Alright in otherwords,"

"Doubt we could tonight, since Em seems to have things set and planned, but tomorrow we could probably try." He muttered back with a glance to Legend, then Katie; Whom had completely ditched her dinner and now had her head on her folded arms. "Kaitlynnh, eat.." Jul instructed, as if being an older brother even though they were twins.

Getting up from his rather hard seat on the floor, Julian tossed Katies small bottle of orange soda to her before taking his seat at the table.

Emmylyne took the seat beside Axel on the bench, although thats not exactily were she wanted to show him something.. that could, and would, wait. the young woman would rather hear his story first. "Okay then.." Emmy started, turning her gaze on him. "Tell me everything, since the last time I saw you after graduation to .. well, know."

Teri gave her bigbrother and big and warm smile saying "Great... After dessert then.." She watched her sister do the washing up while listening with an halfear to the conversation around her. Being around a lot of people felt good, but truthfully she didn't know half the people sitting around the kitchen table. That to Teri felt weird.. How come grandma hadn't introduced everyone to each other all though they were relatives? She knew she had more relatives over the world then she could count and some she had never even met untill this weekend. Teri listened to what JuJu answered to Monica's question about school. He went to a school with muggle kids. Teri looked across the table at Juju asking "So what's it like going to a school with muggle kids? There is no magic there is it? I have never gone to muggle school since Uncle Draco decided to homeschool me, but it must be intriguing isn't it? Learning the same things muggles do and see all their inventions?

"Here you are," A slight innocent smirk appeared on her lips, as she set the one year old into her half-brothers lap. Ruffling Wyatts hair, once more, Em nodded to Axel. Finally, she was ready to go outside.

Teri looked up as Emmy answered her question indicating that grandma was off taking care of something. At the mention of ice cream she asked Emmy "Can we get chocolate sauce and pretzels too along with the ice cream?" Teri sighed inwardly at the mention of having to slip into her PJ's and get ready for bed.. She wasn't tired at all and she knew that all the interesting conversations would take place after the youngest had gone to bed. Her sister's reunion talk with Wyatt was going to happen tonight she knew and Teri hoped that they would work things out. Mon had hurt Wyatt, but they were made for each other or atleast to her it looked that way.

Jae smiled and nodded to Danny as he opened the fridge and took the gallon of milk and chocolate syrup out. He then jumped onto the counter and took out two glasses along with two straws. He then jumped down, landing gracefully in front of the counter with the cups in hand. Thankfully, he was tall enough and the milk wasn't totally full so he didn't spill a drop as he poured. After mixing in the syrup, he grabbed both glasses and set one in front of Danny and the other in front of his own plate.

James grabbed his slice of pizza and took a huge bite, savoring the delicious cheese on it. "Mmmm good," he said with a nod. "Are you the one that's on the bottom bunk underneath me?" he asked Danny through bites. This pizza definitely was good. He glanced at the clock, remembering that his mum had told him about his cousins gaelic football game. Maybe he'd get a chance to watch it.

Axel sighed and nodded, making himself a bit more comfortable on the bench before beginning his story. "Alright. Right after graduation I started my auror training. Since my father and grandfather were...amazing, they expected me to be only because I had their last name. So they signed me up for a job right away. I had to stay hidden, cut off from everyone for a few months. Then I came back and stayed at my parents house for a couple months over the summer," he told her.

He then rubbed the back of his neck. Obviously the next thing he was going to say was painful. "One night, me and my siblings were sitting in the living room. Us three were playing a game of exploding snap while my dad was reading the paper and my mum was writing a letter to her sister," he began, occasionally moving awkwardly in his seat. "We heard a knock on the door so my dad went to answer it. The next thing we heard was my dad yelling for us to take cover. I grabbed my wand and my mum told Vee and Dusty to run and get out of there. Vee wouldn't have it. She said she couldn't leave us to die."

At this point, Axel was looking at his feet and his elbows were resting on his knees, hands intertwined together. "So we started fighting. There were five dark wizards, some of them I've seen before. My parents always had trouble with them. Then, they kept piling in. It was overwhelming. They killed my parents from behind. After that, I saw Vee grab Dusty and run the other way. None of them saw this. Vee swears I disappeared by fleeing, but I didn't. They took me." Axel ran a hand through his shaggy brown hair, his eyes were definitely watery. Dammit, why are you crying in front of her?

"They kept me for a couple months, but I managed to get away. After a while they seemed to get bored of torturing me so it was an easy get away. I went back to the ministry and they told me that my siblings were still alive. I told them to contact them and tell them I was too. They said they would and that they were sending me on another mission. So I went about my business, going on the missions and finishing them successfully. I then found out that they hadn't told my siblings where I was or even if I was alive. I got angry and did my best to contact them. So I did. I gave Vee the locket that my mother always wore. She gave it to me before she died. No idea how she managed. She must have known they were coming for her. And I gave Dusty the pocket knife my dad was saving for him when he became a man."

He cleared his throat and wiped his eyes, trying to be as subtle as possible. "The last mission I went on was in Ireland. Naturally, I was happy because a lot of my family lives there. The day before I had to go I saw my cousin play gaelic football, it was really nice. Then I had to move a family into hiding really early in the morning. They sent me with a team because this family was under surveillance. But it wasn't enough. We were ambushed. I was tortured, almost into insanity, but one of my team members stopped them. It was the same wizards from my house."

Finally coming to the end of his story, his sea green eyes looked directly into Emmy's hazel ones as he spoke. "Then I was sent to St. Mungo's and had a full recovery," he said with a slight smile. "And here I am. Whole, once again. Just a little scratched up, but when have I not been?" It felt so good to get that out of his system. She was the first person he had told and he was so incredibly glad that it had been her.

Jae finished his pizza and leaned back, kicking his feet under the table seeing has he couldn't reach the floor. "Wonder where Axel and Emmy are," he said aloud, looking around for his tall cousin. He shrugged. He'd be able to see him later.

JOrdan watched as her two cousins sat down beside her. She wondered where they had been but decided to ask later. She looked over to see if Angelina was back but she didn't see her. Jordan just remembered that she hadn't told her somthing, but she figured that she would just have to keep checking back. She looked over to the other kids her age. She realized that she really didn't know all of them so she decided to change that then and there. She knew Wyatt and she had just met Teri, but she didn't know the other two. "I don't believe we've ever met. " She said still looking at them. "I'm Jordan Paige and you two would be?" She said smiling.
