All I Want for Christmas…

Familiar with the muggle tune, Rose had been humming it one fateful Christmas Eve at Hogwarts. This, however, lead to our story. Recognizing the song, a fellow character began to sing- but instead of ‘my two front teeth’ she substituted a character from a book. Entertained, the group of friends (both witches and wizards) continued to discuss what character (from a book or movie) they would want for Christmas. But, what happens when the magic of Hogwarts grants their request?

The witches and wizards do not know that the other characters will be arriving- in fact it should be a complete shock to them. The characters will all arrive on Christmas day- during the Ball that will be held at Hogwarts. A few things to keep in mind: characters from the same movie/book will know one another, but just for the fun of it, they will not remember their love interest in the actual book or movie (if there was one). Now, I would like to mix it up- maybe not all of the characters and witch/wizards fall in love. I would like a few conflicts and some to just end up as friends. And, as Christmas day fades away, so will they… but we can have some fun until then.

So, everyone will be taking 2 characters- their own student and then the character for someone else. Try and pick a character that everyone will know, and therefore will be able to play easier. If you do not know the character, do not pick them or talk to the person who requested him/her.

If you join, please tell me if you cannot continue! I’m tired of RPs just dropping off into nothing! I want this to be fun and have an ending! So, if you are not going to be here- let me know! You don’t have to leave- I can catch you up once you return. However, if you haven’t posted in the space of a week and didn’t give me any warning, I will have to pass over the characters.

But she seriously would like to go and experience something like that someday.

Arya followed Seb, and seeing his expression she knew that his mind was elsewhere. It was slightly funny- to be thrown into another world and have your host be in a world of his own. The irony was killing her. She kept herself composed and Seb turned to her once more. "Well, that's reassuring... at least I'm not the only one," she said with a small smile. Her smiled faded as he talked about her home. "Well, there's a lot more to it than meets the eye," she told him quietly. As he invited questions, Arya looked around, wondering where to begin. "Well... have you ever met an elf before? Do you have them in your world?" she asked, having not seen one the whole night.

Peter being the oblivious boy (aren't all boys oblivious) that he was didn't even notice that her cheeks had pinkened. "Thank you very much. I am appeased" He told her with a nod of his head. He did not like the thought of Rose being hurt that was for sure.

Peter watched as Rose thought of a place that she could take him. He was curious to see what she came up with. Actually he was just curious as to what the place had to offer. He couldn't even begin to imagine all of the places inside of the castle. As she took his hand and asked if he wanted to trust him he let a grin cross his face. "Yes, Miss Rose. I am trusting you" He told her.

Then he said he wanted a solitary dance partner. That was her! She was his solitary partner! Mentally Reynie told herself to calm down. "Well I think I can fit the part" She said to him, returning his smile, surprised by how calm she appeared.

She smiled and gently pulled on his hand. "Come with me," she said, pulling him out of the Great Hall, and then down the torch-lit corridor. "So, is there anything you want to know? About magic? Our world?" she asked, looking over at him. She was fairly sure she had asked that question, but she was willing to bet that he had hundreds floating around in his mind. And, it would distract him as they walked along, leaving where she was going to take him a complete mystery.

"Well, at least one of us is," he said in mock frustration, batting the long sleeves away, hoping to make her laugh. As they switched the conversation to dancing, Will smiles. "I think you will fit the part quite nicely," he said, leading her to the entrance of the Common Room. "Are you ready? Or is there anything else?" he asked, looking around the room, and then at the door with a skeptical expression.

As she mentioned tomorrow Peter couldn't help but let a little fear pass through him. would he be here tomorrw? Of course he did not let that fear show. He didn't want to let on to Rose his thoughts about this subject. As she asked him to promise though he let a smile cross his face. "Yes. I promise you Rose, that I will not get myself injoured in some war" He told her with a slight bow at his words.

Will Turner could flatter her as much as he wanted, in Reynie's book. "I can't think of anything, no" She told him as he asked if there was anything else that needed to be done.

She looked away after she mentioned the next day- she didn't even want to imagine what it was going to like without him now. She smiled at his next comment, allowing her fear to be pushed to the back of her mind. "Good- otherwise I will be quite disappointed in you," she said, giving his hand a squeeze.

"A normal day..." she said with a laugh. "Well, breakfast in that hall we just left- where the food will just appear before you. Then classes- practicing spells, wand work, making potions, looking at the stars, working with magical plants and creatures," she told him with a laugh. "Then, flying around on brooms if you're part of that sport, homework, various fun activities, dinner, and then bed." They reached a set of stairs and she led him up, looking at him to see his reaction. "Fairly usual in the day of a witch or wizard here," she said with a chuckle. "Anything else?"

Will stopped playing with his sleeves and turned to look at her, a smile dancing on his lips. "Perhaps... or perhaps I was merely trying to divine how you function in these things!" His smile widened as she revealed her enjoyment. "Oh? And why not? A beautiful woman like yourself deserves to be flattered," he told her, with a slight bow that was more gentlemanly than the others. "Very well, my lady, let us go to the ball."

Caspian laughed, and it was a loud sort of booming one, though he was being careful to be at least a bit quiet about it. If I ever figure out how to return home and indeed take someone with me, it would, of course, be you, he assured her with a smile. Ah, to be home. As nice a change as this was, he was already wondering what was going on without him.

Izzy shuddered in his harms as he began gently rubbing her back. It had been such a terrible dream, brought on by her own fear of course but nevertheless frightening in its own right. I'm sorry, she said quietly with a small sigh as she finally lifted up her head.

Isabella smiled as the laughter rang in her ears.It was like for the first time Caspian had just gotten around and tried being his normal self.She was looking all over the empty class as she heard him speak and nodded.She was glad as he told he would take her to show his place.But then somewhere down there was a faint chime of clock and Isabella's eyes instantly fell on her delicate watch which she somehow hadnt checked all this time.It was 10:00 already and slowly realisation set in.She became quiet,her hand around the watch on her other hand.The night would be long gone and so would be Caspian at some point.She somehow couldnt register that.Isabella was having a nice time in his company and Caspian too was relaxing and getting around pretty well but now sooner or later all that might vanish just the way all these people popped into Hogwarts.Isabella sighed.

Peter couldn't help but return Rose's laugh. It was contageous. He saw her look away and couldn't help but wondering if she was thinking the same thing that he was. Surely not, then again she might be. He gave Rose a smile as he squeezed her hand back. "Well now we could not have you disappointed now could we" He told her.

As Peter listened to Rose's normal day he couldn't help but be taken aback slightly. What a day that was. "Well it sounds like you have a busy day. Odd but busy" He said to her with a small laugh. He could not imagine going to school in a place like this. He looked around at the moving staircases and couldnt' help but let his eyes widen. Wow. What was this place. "Is the rest of the castle this.... magical?" He asked her.

Damon felt Izzy shudder. The poor girl. He knew what was going through her mind without even reading it. That was one thing that he had vowed not to do. He would not influence her or invade her mind. As she looked at him and spoke Damon brought one of his hands up to her cheek. "There is nothing to be sorry about" He told her. "Nothing at all"

Isabella smiled as the laughter rang in her ears.It was like for the first time Caspian had just gotten around and tried being his normal self.She was looking all over the empty class as she heard him speak and nodded.She was glad as he told he would take her to show his place.But then somewhere down there was a faint chime of clock and Isabella's eyes instantly fell on her delicate watch which she somehow hadnt checked all this time.It was 10:00 already and slowly realisation set in.She became quiet,her hand around the watch on her other hand.The night would be long gone and so would be Caspian at some point.She somehow couldnt register that.Isabella was having a nice time in his company and Caspian too was relaxing and getting around pretty well but now sooner or later all that might vanish just the way all these people popped into Hogwarts.Isabella sighed.

Caspian was watching Isabella as she smiled, but then she was silent; he continued to keep an eye on her for a few moments before finally saying, Isabella, what's the matter? A frown appeared on his lips as he watched her closely.

Rose was warmed by Peter's laugh- it went right to her heart and settled there. She hoped that she would remember the sound forever. Seeing his look, she did her best to smile, reassure his unspoken question. Whatever they were both thinking- they were both worried. But now was not the time to be.

"It can be... the classes are spread out throughout the week, so its usually not too bad," she told him as they reached the landing they wanted. "Odd doesn't even begin to describe it," she said with a soft laugh. "What does your day look like?" she asked him as she walked with him down a hall way, most of the paintings were still, but a few waved as she passed. "Basically," she said with a laugh at his question. "The paintings move and talk, the armor shines itself, some of the plants will eat you, and we fly around on brooms for sport," she told him with a smile. "So yes- its all fairly magical, but just a normal day here," she said as she stopped.

"Peter, I need you to do me a favor," she said, turning to face him, smiling as she looked up at his face.

Isabella was in her own thoughts when she heard Caspian ask her something.she turned to look at him and then silently shook her head and stepped aside,so that she was next to Caspian and not facing him and leaned against the desks with her hands for extra support.
its just that i realised that as we speak,the time is passing by and you might be gone the way you came she said looking at a certain spot on th floor.

As she stopped, Rose looked toward a blank space in the wall before giving Peter a smile. "I need you to close your eyes," she said, her own eyes meeting his. "I'm going to lead you around, and as I do, I want you to picture Narnia. One place, or a bunch of them, that you want to share with me," she said with a warm smile. "Are you ready?"

Caspian turned as she stood beside, still watching her carefully to make sure she was alright. But then he heard Isabella's words and the color drained from his face. He sighed, though he was more uncomfortable than he was letting on with the topic of conversation. You have your world, and I have mine.... it couldn't possibly stay forever. Ewww.... mushy.

Izzy didn't break the eye contact they had, wondering what Damon was thinking so hard about as he looked into her green eyes with his own black ones. She didn't know what time it was - all she knew was that there probably wasn't much time left for this fairytale.

Reynie listened to all that Will was saying and gave him a smile. He was so..... perfect. It was the only word there was to discribe him. As he took a step towards her Reynie felt her hear speed up a bit, but then his fingers were underneath her chin. That was it, her heart was about to come right out of her chest. She looked up to him, looking at those gorgeous eyes. "Thankyou" She whispered to him.

But then he stepped away. She felt the urge to curse under her breath but resisted doing so. She nodded her head as he told her to lead the way. She turned toward the enterance of the common room. She turned her head once to glance back to him right before she stepped out of the portrait hole.

Like Peter wasn't accustomed to the magic that surrounded him. "Well, that's sad," she said quietly, looking down. "He seems like a wonderful creature."

She smiled as he agreed to her experiment, and once he was ready, she began to lead him around. Pacing once, twice, and then a third time in front of the blank wall when suddenly a door appeared. "Peter- it worked! Open your eyes!" she whispered, indicating the door. "Come on!"

Damon felt Izzy shutter beneath his touch. Once again he was reminded of how delicate she really was. Her lips parted as he brushed his fingers over them. That was all it took. Just that one look in her eyes that told Damon what she really wanted. He leaned down meeting her lips once more. Will shook off the mood that seemed to settle over them. So, he hadn't taken the current opportunity. One thing he learned in his world was to learn from each situation- and he certainly knew what needed to happen at the next chance that was presented.

"Christmas?" he asked, surprised. Apparently the timing was different in this world- or he just hadn't been paying attention, which was possible. "Well, what do you do around here for Christmas then?" he asked her with a warm smile as they continued down the hall.

Rose laughed, remembering how they had been basically thrown into the culture of Narnia. "That must have been an experience," she said, smiling over at him. "We have some interesting creatures here as well, but I don't know what I would do if my dog started talking!" she said with a laugh. Rose felt warmth fill her at Peter's words, and she smiled at him. "Always," she said softly.

She laughed quietly as she circled Peter around. It must have felt ridiculous, but the final product would be worth it. She looked to see his reaction, knowing that (to him) it looked just like a normal door. She laughed at his comment. "You tell me!" she said, taking his hand and walked toward the door and opening it slowly. "Where are we?" she breathed, looking at the transformed Room of Requirement.

Izzy was surprised that Damon had met her halfway - he was a vampire and she was a human, and what each of them thought of as fun were probably two very, very different things. She knew he was being careful with her, but she didn't seem to mind just then. Still, it didn't stop her from deepening the kiss.

First and last time that will happen, Caspian agreed with a nod and a small laugh. But then he saw Isabella's solemn expression and he let out a small sigh. He didn't know what to make of any of this, but they were from two different worlds and that's all that would matter. I'm sorry.
