All I Want for Christmas…

Familiar with the muggle tune, Rose had been humming it one fateful Christmas Eve at Hogwarts. This, however, lead to our story. Recognizing the song, a fellow character began to sing- but instead of ‘my two front teeth’ she substituted a character from a book. Entertained, the group of friends (both witches and wizards) continued to discuss what character (from a book or movie) they would want for Christmas. But, what happens when the magic of Hogwarts grants their request?

The witches and wizards do not know that the other characters will be arriving- in fact it should be a complete shock to them. The characters will all arrive on Christmas day- during the Ball that will be held at Hogwarts. A few things to keep in mind: characters from the same movie/book will know one another, but just for the fun of it, they will not remember their love interest in the actual book or movie (if there was one). Now, I would like to mix it up- maybe not all of the characters and witch/wizards fall in love. I would like a few conflicts and some to just end up as friends. And, as Christmas day fades away, so will they… but we can have some fun until then.

So, everyone will be taking 2 characters- their own student and then the character for someone else. Try and pick a character that everyone will know, and therefore will be able to play easier. If you do not know the character, do not pick them or talk to the person who requested him/her.

If you join, please tell me if you cannot continue! I’m tired of RPs just dropping off into nothing! I want this to be fun and have an ending! So, if you are not going to be here- let me know! You don’t have to leave- I can catch you up once you return. However, if you haven’t posted in the space of a week and didn’t give me any warning, I will have to pass over the characters.

Izzy tried shaking her head to clear it - even if he wasn't trying to, Damon was being persuasive - but the motion made her a little bit dizzy, so she closed her eyes a moment before reopening them. I'm just going to change. I'll be right back, she said with a weak smile before cautiously making her way towards the staircase and then up to the dormatory above.

Damon watched Izzy in confusion as she tried to stand up. He saw her close her eyes and quickly stood up and was by her side, holding her arm to steady her. When he heard her words he gave her a nod. Before letting go of her arm and watching her walk upstairs. As she went to her room he took his seat back on the couch and waited for Izzy to return.

Izzy was sure to remain silent as she passed by the sleeping heads of her peers. She reached her wardrobe rather quickly despite being a bit dizzy and changed into plaid pajama pants and a white tank top. She ponytailed her curly hair and headed quietly back downstairs without looking at herself in the mirror. It was just as well - she would have passed out at the shock of her whitened face as well as the punctures on her neck that she had unknowingly exposed.

She reached the bottom of the stone staircase only a few minutes after leaving, but the trip hadn't helped her very much. If anything, she was paler than she had been when she left. Izzy steadied herself on the couch as she walked around the back of it and sat down once more beside Damon. She leaned against his shoulder and shivered slightly without saying anything.

Damon sat on the edge of the couch waiting for Izzy to come down and listening closely incase he heard anything go wrong upstairs. He was getting very worried about her. She had had so much taken from her today. He even worried that he had taken too much. He had tried to be careful, not to take enough to start the change. Then he heard her coming down the stairs.

He watched her very closely as she waked back over to him. She was so pale, even paler than she had been. The marks on her neck were very evident. Other than that he saw no sign of changing. That relieved a little bit of his worry. As she sat back down with him he leaned back form the edge of the couch to the back. "Come here" He told her as she leaned on him and he wrapped his arms around her. "Izzy you have got to take it easy" He reminded her.

Izzy remained quiet as Damon wrapped his arms around her, though she felt a lot better when he did so. At his words, she repressed a sigh with difficulty and said, I'm fine, really, she said, glancing up at him before reaching one of her arms from under his and pulling down a blanket; it was a cold winter, geez. Of course, Izzy had never felt this cold.

Damon kept his arms exactly where they were. She was shivering, it probably didn't help that she was leaning up against a vampire. But he had a feeling that she would not even listen to the suggesting of not being up against him. As he listened to what she said and pulled the blanket around her he couldn't help but glancing down at her neck. He slowly brought his fingers to the puncture wound, "I shouldn't have done that" He said quietly. It was probably the first time in forever that Damon Salvatore had ever said those words.

Izzy couldn't repress the shudder that came as Damon lightly touched the marks at her neck that his teeth had made not even two hours before. Don't say that, she whispered, You didn't do anything. I told you to. In truth, she hadn't actually said that, but one couldn't deny the implications.

Damon let his fingers linger there for a moment just looking at the marks before he actually moved his hand. "Still I shouldn't, it has made you far to weak now" He told her as he started to stroke Izzy's hair. He couldn't get over the fact that he was actually regretting taking her blood. Well it wasn't that he was regretting taking her blood, he was just worried about her now. Still this was a foreign feeling to Damon.

Izzy kept herself from sighing or saying anything at Damon's words and let herself relax into his shoulder once more, wincing slightly only once as his shirt brushed the side of her neck the wrong way. As he started stroking her hair, Izzy could feel her eyelids droop as sleep threatened to overcome her once more. She struggled to keep her eyes open.

Damon watched as she winced as his shirt rubbed her neck. He could see her eyes falling, as well as felt her heartbeat slowing. "Izzy, I know you're scared I wont be here when you wake. But you have got to sleep" He told her. He tried to think of some way that he could make her feel better and not so weak. The only thing he kept coming back to was that she had not had enough of his blood to replace her own. Surely that wasn't it though? Or maybe it was.

"I'll talk to you later Seb... you have an elf following you around if I'm not mistaken," she said with a warm smile. Pulling gently on Peter's hand, she led him past Seb, giving her friend a look saying that they would talk about it later.

Soon, she and Peter were back in the ballroom and she smiled up at him. "Sorry, that was my best friend... he can be a little over protective," she said with a apologetic smile.

But, as she smiled, Will couldn't help but smile back. There was something about this girl that just warmed him- despite his dripping wet clothing.

Will laughed and nodded- they certainly were different. "Alright, thank you," he said with a slight bow as she turned to go. Then, without hesitation, he peeled off his wet shirt, unaware of whether Reynie was in the room or not. He slipped the top part of the outfit on first, and then turned to make sure Reynie wasn't there before finishing dressing. Finally, after he was finished, he balled up his clothing and descended the stairs back to the Common Room. "Well?" he asked, holding up his arms as the sleeves billowed out.

Izzy was growing ever-more comfortable half-against Damon's shoulder, half-against his chest, and she didn't have the strength to stay awake anymore. I'm sorry, she whispered before the blackness took her down into mercifully dreamless sleep at Damon's side.

Peter could tell that Rose had seen his grin at her own words. He was very glad that he was good at keeping his emotions hidden if he wished. Normally he didn't wish to but right now he figured this boy would truly hate him if he let out a full fledged grin.

Then he felt Rose's hand take hold of his. He nodded goodbye to the boy as they left the balcony. He had a feeling that right about now he wasn't Sebastian's favorite person in the entire world. Part of him also thought that that might be because of more than just being an over protective friend.

"Don't appologize" He told her with a smile. "Its a good trait to have. Every girl needs someone to defend their honor" He told her.

Reynie came down stairs to the gryffindor common room. She went over and sat on one of the arms of one of the couches close to the fire. It was just now that she realized how cold she actually had been. As she sat there she couldn't help but think about Will. That smile was just to die for. She could not even begin to believe that he was truly here with her.

Then she heard him coming down the stairs. She couldn't help but to surpress a small laugh as He asked her how he look. "I am very impressed. You pull it off very well" She told him with a nod of her head. It was odd to see Will Turner dressed in dress robes. "You might just be able to pass for a student here" She told him with a grin.

Damon watched Izzy as her eyes could barely stay open. Then he heard her whisper something. Any other person would not have been able to pick it up but he could. He didn't understand why she was appologizing though. But before he could as she was asleep. He kissed her forehead lightly, making sure not to wake her up. And then very gently he pulled the blanket up around her and tighten his arms around her hoping with everything that he had that he would be able to see her wake up.

She sniffed at his comment about a defender. "While it is nice to have a defender, I am quite content to defend myself on occasion," she said with a grin. At the last minute, he had decided to leave his own in the boys' dorm, and so his hands were free to inspect the clothing.

"Pass for a student? And what classes would I be taking? I'm already a black smith," he told her with a proud smile. Granted, he didn't even know if she knew what a black smith was... he hoped that she would.

Peter let a grin come to his face as Rose said that she could defend himself. "Well somehow that does not surprise me at all." It had not taken him long at all to realize that Rose was a very independent girl. That much was obvious. He couldnt' help but laugh as she said that she was good with a sword. "Oh really? What kind of experience with a sword do you have?" He asked raising one of his eyebrows.

Reynie looked to Will as he asked if they wore them on a daily basis. "Oh no, these are the dress Robes. We only wear them for special occasions. For classes we were just plain black robes. They are much less formal." She told him with emphesis on the word much. "And then for comfort we were normal clothes. You know jeans and tee shirts. Well no you dont' know but no we don't wear these" She told him with a nod of her head.

As he asked about the classes she could help but grin. Oh these were the types of conversations that were sure to be interesting. "Classes like Charms, Potions, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Transfiguration" She told him him. "No I can't say that your Black Smith skills would be much use here" She told him with a small laugh. It was true. There were really no need for that occupation in her world. Not when you had a wand.

"No, it will be fine... as I said, he's over protective. Now that he's met you, it will probably blow over," she said with a shrug. She didn't want to focus on the matter much longer- she was worried about what Seb would say. But who knew how long Peter would be there... and those were thoughts she wanted to stay away from. Then, he switched the topic and she grinned. "You caught me... but I've always wanted to learn," she said with a wistful sigh. "But, I just feel like I would be good at it- have you ever had that feeling?" she asked him. "However, riding horses- that is something I do quite well," she said with a proud smile.

Will listened and nodded in understanding. Well, they were comfortable at least. He glanced down again, and couldn't help but laugh. "I look ridiculous..." he began, but he would probably look even more ridiculous in his normal clothes if this is what they usually wore.

As she began to explain the classes, Will's eyes widened. They all sounded so strange, and some of them very witchy- which made sense. "Wait... Defense against the dark arts? What? Do dark paintings just jump down at you?" he asked, making a face as he tried to picture it. IT didn't sound like much of a class. "I guess sculpture would be harder to defend against..." he added as a side thought. He sighed as she said that his skills wouldn't be of much use. "Oh well, at least I need them back in my world," he said with a crooked grin.

Peter nodded at Rose as she spoke of Sebastian being protective. He decided not to say anything however because he got the feeling that she wanted to change subjects. That was no problem with him what so ever.

Peter couldn't help but laugh as Rose said that she had never actually dealt with swords before. "Well its definately a hard technique to master" He told her with one nod of his head. He loved it though. Nothing was better than being in that moment of battle with your sword to protect you. "Riding horses eh?" He asked her with a grin. "Are you any good?" He asked.

As he made a few comments about the Dark Arts Reynie couldn't help but laugh. "No not quite. See just like in any other world there are very evil Witches and Wizards. Along with evil Witches and Wizards comes very dark magic" She told him. "We are taught how to defend ourselves against that dark magic for when we get out into the real world" She finished.

"Well, sorry I wasn't whisked off to Narnia... maybe I'll asked Santa to bring me one next year for Christmas," she teased him. She had to nod in agreement at his next statement. "Maybe you could teach me at some point," she suggested with a grin. As he mentioned horses she smiled broadly. "Well, it depends on who you talk to... those that I take lessons with might say yes, the instructor might say I have potential, and who knows what the horse thinks!" she said with a laugh.

Will raised and eyebrow and glanced down at his outfit. He thought he looked ridiculous- but, then again, he wasn't used to this sort of clothing. He smiled in return to her own- feeling it warm him slightly.

Will felt his face heat slightly as she laughed at him. He shrugged- he really didn't know what it was all about. It was a magic school after all- he didn't even know that they existed. He nodded, knowing full well about the good and evil of society. "Yes, defending one's self is always good," he said, nodding in agreement. "So, where to now? Or should I get used to these clothes first?" he asked, moving his arms and legs as the fabric swirled around him.

Arya quietly followed the boy that she had held at swordpoint moments ago. If he knew so much about her, he really should have expected it- at least, that was her opinion about it. She fought the urge to take a breath, for that would mean that they would have to end what they had just begun.

Rose felt Peter pulling away before she heard Seb's call, and both of which caused her heart to sink. She looked at Peter, sadness in her eyes, before looking over at Seb. She was surprised to see him- he had been gone for so long. "Seb, we're just..." she looked up at Peter with a smile. "Introducing ourselves," she told him with a shrug.

"Speaking of which, Peter, this is Sebastian... Seb, this is High King Peter of Narnia," she said, introducing the two men formally. She winced, hoping that the aggression in Seb's voice wouldn't carry over to Peter. She couldn't imagine why he would be so upset... they had been friends for ages.[/COLOR]

Sebastian stood staring at the scene in front of him trying to grasp what was going on. Rose kissing a unfamilier boy. This wasn't right. This was weird. Hearing her comment he raised an eyebrow saying confused "Really? It doesn't look like that..." Not really knowing what to say or do Seb turned to Peter as the boy was called and muttered "Pleased to meet you!" before bowing slightly as was custom around royalty.

Upset, confused and with a weird sense of sadness in the pit of his stomach Seb turned on his heel and left to go somewhere far away from Rose. Walking away from the balcony he saw Arya standing not too far away watching the dancers. Sighing a little Seb plastered on a big smile and walked up to her asking "Would you like to dance?" Holding out his hand he wondered if she would accept. Anything to get the picture of Rose kissing Peter was welcomed.

As Rose talked about the horses he listened. "Well I'm sure you are quite good" He told her, "And I bet the horses think so to" He said to her with another nod of his head. Somehow it fit Rose's personality that she liked horses.

Reynie watched Will as he took in his clothing once again. No, it did not fit him at all. But she had not been lying when she told him that he was handsome in it. It was just that the pirate get up fit him better.

"Yes it really is. And forgive me for bragging but I'm rather good at it if I may so myself" She told him with a very defiant nod of her head and then a smile. "Well if you would like to get used to them we can stay here, or like I said before I can get you something more comfortable if you like" She told him. "Or if you would rather there is the ball downstairs. Or we could go anywhere that would like. There are quiet a few things to occupy ones time around here" She told him.

Arya looked over as she heard Sebastian's footsteps and raised a delicate eyebrow as he suggested a dance. "Very well," she said, carefully taking his hand. "I apologize for threatening you earlier," she told him with a small smile. "You must understand where I am coming from," she said, looking over at him.

Peter followed her eyes around the room to the rest of the ball. Then as she started to speak again he gave her a grin. As he took a step towards her he told her, "How about you surprise me"

As he told her to surprise him, Rose frowned slightly- trying to think as quickly as she could. Suddenly, an idea hit her and she grinned. "I have an idea... but you're going to have to follow me," she said, taking his hand. "Are you sure you want to trust me?" she asked him, her smile suddenly mischievous.

Will smiled and nodded once. "Well, when you are ready then- my lady," he said, offering his hand and bowing slightly at the waist. His cloak shifted forward slightly, and he frowned at the unusual way in which it flowed. "This might take some getting use to," he warned her, his smile apologetic. He had to chuckle as she mentioned not sharing him. "Well, no one else knows who I am... and I know no one else, so we should be safe... I think," he added. Reynie seemed to know a lot about him- who knew if anyone else did here. "If you don't mind, I think I would prefer to have a solitary dance partner," he told her with a warm smile.

Izzy was asleep in what she thought was a peaceful state - as if she were drowsily floating on a cloud with most of her body cloaked in joy and happiness, but her sleep was less than restful. Despite her pleasant thoughts, Izzy's arms kept tightening and loosening around Damon as she slept, and she even rolled over once, mumbling, Not long now, a few times with a sort of frustrated expression on her face.
