Harry Potter: KA: RPotW ->All I want for Christmas...
Janus Thickey WardHas your role-play reached its natural conclusion or fallen under a barrage of spells? If so, it will be kept here for permanent care.
Familiar with the muggle tune, Rose had been humming it one fateful Christmas Eve at Hogwarts. This, however, lead to our story. Recognizing the song, a fellow character began to sing- but instead of ‘my two front teeth’ she substituted a character from a book. Entertained, the group of friends (both witches and wizards) continued to discuss what character (from a book or movie) they would want for Christmas. But, what happens when the magic of Hogwarts grants their request?
The witches and wizards do not know that the other characters will be arriving- in fact it should be a complete shock to them. The characters will all arrive on Christmas day- during the Ball that will be held at Hogwarts. A few things to keep in mind: characters from the same movie/book will know one another, but just for the fun of it, they will not remember their love interest in the actual book or movie (if there was one). Now, I would like to mix it up- maybe not all of the characters and witch/wizards fall in love. I would like a few conflicts and some to just end up as friends. And, as Christmas day fades away, so will they… but we can have some fun until then.
So, everyone will be taking 2 characters- their own student and then the character for someone else. Try and pick a character that everyone will know, and therefore will be able to play easier. If you do not know the character, do not pick them or talk to the person who requested him/her.
If you join, please tell me if you cannot continue! I’m tired of RPs just dropping off into nothing! I want this to be fun and have an ending! So, if you are not going to be here- let me know! You don’t have to leave- I can catch you up once you return. However, if you haven’t posted in the space of a week and didn’t give me any warning, I will have to pass over the characters.

Regal??? Him not Regal... Seb made face at Rose and then stood up to strike his most regal pose asking "Rose..I can be regal..But i would prefer a knight they are more to my liking." Seating himself down again he gave his best friend an extra nudge in the side.. Hearing that his IQ might have dropped from all his training Seb rolled his eyes at Rose saying "Oh, come on now. Since when could ones IQ drop from working out?"
The idea was just riddikulus. Smirking a little to himself Seb watched with some amusement how Rose scooted away from him and right into Annie just because he had mentioned lifting her... Sighing he muttered "I said I COULD. Not that I would."
And then he was practically being accused of acting like a vampire when he so wasn't. Sometimes Rose went overboard with her teasing. Seb shot Rose a questioning look asking "Me a vampire? Do tell how I am one because...I've totally lost you." Teasing he could take, Jokes too but acting like a vampire---.

And then there was ANNIE.. Glancing over the table at her he asked "Millenium Falcon? What's that, a bird?" Seb was knowledgable but what ever Annie was talking about was just a big black hole in his brain.. Since Rose asked Annie to save her from him Annie made a speech about mastering the art of fighting at the age of 5. Sighing and frowning at the same time Seb said "Let down your guard, Annie. I'm not going to lift Rose.. And i'm certainly not going to fight you. I have never fighted a girl and i'm not about to start now........" Turning away from Annie Seb hoped for something or someone to come and distract him because at the moment his EGO was a bit bruised by two girls...
Seb sighed heavily and then shot Rose a short smile saying "Of course not. I would never hurt you Rose. You know that. I love like you too much as a friend to ever do that." Why did she even ask such a thing she usually knew what he thought and felt anyway...
Finally a distraction all though in the form of Ms Astoria Slithera..Seb shot her a welcoming smile saying "Merry Christmas, Tori!". Finishing up the last of the food on his plate he wondered why Annie was acting weirdly around him and why Rose suddenly was afraid of heights.
Rose saw Seb's eyes flicker over to her as he talked about defending themselves. She couldn't help but wonder why- but pushed it aside for the time being. She smiled at his pose, lifting a hand to cover a soft giggle that escaped her lips. "My Knight in shining armor indeed!" she said with a smile. "Its a common assumption- jocks tend to be less muscled here," she said, gently tapping his head. "And more muscular here," she said, giving his arm a squeeze once more. "But I would tend to doubt that in your case... you exercise both on a regular basis!" she said with a kind smile.
As Seb made his retort, Rose couldn't help but smile. For a brief second, she couldn't help but imagine him lifting her up off the seat. She was sure it would be quite comfortable and that she would feel secure... but she pushed those thoughts away once more. "Maybe someday," she said softly, not realizing she had said it just loud enough for Seb to hear.
"Sorry, we were talking about biting? I was just..." Rose realized she had gone too far and quieted. "Never mind. I made a mental leap," she said with a sheepish smile as she shrugged her shoulders. As he talked about Arya again, she grinned. "So, basically, she's just like me- except my hair is lighter," she said with a wink.
She winced as the two talked about the Millenium Falcon. She felt bad for Seb- Star Wars was Annie's forte. Hearing Seb's sigh, she quickly wrapped him in a hug. "I'm sorry Seb- you know how I get a little crazy with teasing. We just have so much fun!" she said, giving him another tight hug before letting him go. She thought she heard another word come out of Seb's mouth, but dismissed it.

"Merry Chrismas, Astoria," Annie smiled at her friend, still finding her name supercool even after all these years. It sounded WAY too much like something from Star Wars and she hadn't failed to mention that fact to the girl on a number of occasions.
Hehe. O_O"A.... a BIRD?!" the Ravenclaw spluttered, forgetting for a minute that not everyone knew as much about Star Wars as she and Rose did. "It's a STARSHIP - the FASTEST one in the whole galaxy according to the original six movies and it was own and manned by none other than Han Solo himself, along with Chewbacca the Wookie. HOW do you not know this?" she informed him, genuinely flabbergasted that people who were ignorant to her favourite universe existed.
As least her surprise had managed to hide her slight embarrassement. She was so surprised she didn't notice two very obvious things: One - he had just made a statement that basically translated to "guys don't fight girls because it's unfair" and two - that she and Rose had made him feel uncomfortable.
She was THAT surprised.
"So you did... sounds good to me," Rose said with a nod. "And maybe we can expose Seb to the series- if he would like," she said with a smile over to him. She laughed at the mention of their different houses. She probably would have... but apparently the Sorting Hat saw something in her that was more Lion than Eagle.
She grinned at Annie's exclamation. "Don't worry," she said quietly. "I don't think anyone else noticed," she continued, glancing around the table. Everyone seemed to be involved in their own conversations- including Seb.
"Annie, give him break!" Rose said, jumping in for him. "Unfortunately, not everyone has been exposed to the awesomeness of Star Wars," she said, trying to calm her down while giving Seb a chance to think of a change of topic. "I mean, it is a muggle fad... and many people here have no idea what a TV even is," she pointed out with a smile.
OOC: Hey everyone, in my next post we're going to moving on to Christmas day!! Get those characters ready!!
Greg shrugged and listened to what other people said. He didn't really have anything he wanted to say to their discussion, but this was sort of like being involved in the conversation...right?

Isabella frowned in a very fake-puppy-dog way and sighed dramatically. Maybe I want to be edible, she said with a final grin as she spoke. Then she shook her head, still smiling widely. 'Once I meet him', she repeated with a chuckle.

Rose laughed and nodded, but it was interrupted by a large yawn. "Well everyone... I am going to turn in! See you all tomorrow at the Christmas Ball!" she said, standing up and getting ready to leave the Great Hall.

Christmas Day
Rose spun in front of a mirror as she examined the dress she had put on for the night. Her presents had been wonderful, and she had enjoyed a wonderful Christmas brunch with her friends. But now, it was time for the ball and there was a knot of excitement within her. She didn't know why, but tonight felt as if it were going to be life-changing.
Soon, she moved down to the Great Hall to wait for her friends.

Izzy was standing in front of a full length mirror in her dormitory, frowning at the image of herself in her dress. She thought for a moment about what might make it better until she finally twisted her hair up and smiled; that was it. She headed down to the Great Hall and was very happy to see Rose already there. Wow, you look great! she said with a wide smile at her friend.

Astoria had spent a good hour with her head in the grate first thing this morning, ensuring that her younger siblings (who had returned home for Christmas) were happy and liked their presents. After that, she had opened her own presents to find out that, as normal, her parents had spoilt her rotten. She had been given a whole new outfit for the ball tonight, as well as books that she had been fawning over in both muggle and wizarding bookstore's.
And, after a brunch with her best friends, and yet more Star War's talk (and her "cool" name was commented on at least another three times), she had returned to the Slytherin dorms to get ready. She was determined that this would be the year, no the day, that the men of Hogwart's would start noticing her, and she was sure that her outfit would help her do that. She was a Slitheria, and once they had their minds set on something that was it.
So, as the time drew closer, Astoria smiled gently as she hummed all I want for christmas is you, applying a gently coating of make-up and she left her hair to dry naturally, giving her a very soft and natural look. Once that was done, she pulled her dress on, and then used her wand to tighten the corset at the back of her dress. She loved her parents for buying her it, she thought she would have to reuse her normal society dress, that she had been wearing for the past two years. After slipping on her new purple stiletto's, she picked up and put on her gift from her Grandmother; her amethyst necklace that she had been given for her eighteenth.
After a final check in the mirror, and a "Yeah, I woudn't mind Jacob Black seeing me like this", she walked out of the dorms and maneovered her way through the Slytherin Common room. She heard a few gasps and catcalls and grinned; happy that she had obviously got the males of her school to sit up and take notice. As she got to the Great Hall, she saw Izzy standing in emerald green and Rosie standing in aqua. "Girl's, you look gorgeous." She said with a gentle smile.
Cassie stood in front of the mirror. In one hand, she held a blue, floorlength gown, and in the other a shorter, purple dress. The blue one was a classic, that would never get old and would match just about anything. The purple one was kind of a cross between medieval times and now, with distressed material and small bow-like attachments. But which one do I wear? she whined in her head, as she held the purple one in front of her...then the blue one. The process repeated, before she finally sighed.
She decided on the purple dress, as she placed both on the bed.
"Now, the hair," she murmured to herself, as she twisted her blonde hair into a kind of bun sort of 'do. Securing it with hair pins, she moved to pull on her dress and a pair of black ballet flats.
She quickly painted on some make-up, then ran out of her dorm and down the stairs.
Nearing the Great Hall, Cassie noticed Izzy and Rose, and walked over to them.
"Hey guys, you look amazing!" she beamed at the girls.
Reynie stood up from the vanity in her room. She had been working the majority of the day getting her makeup and hair ready. She decided to go for the natural tone colors and long loose curls in her hair.
Once that was complete she stepped into her dress. Being the dork that she was, when she had been buying it, she had been thinking 'Elizabeth Swan, what would she wear' because clearly anything that she wore Will turner would wear. Yes she was a self proclaimed dork. Of course she put her own spin on it. Reynie had never really liked the longer dresses, instead she had gone for a shorter one. After putting on her black heals she headed down stairs.
As she got downstairs she saw all of the others, "Well I must say ladies, we are a sight for sore eyes" She said with a small laugh.

Isabella was in her dorm room getting ready for the christmas dinner.she looked at her dress.she knew it looked a bit too much but her mum had insisted that she wore this and it did look well on her.so there she was getting ready in her dress and combing her hair.she kept her make up simple.she wore her matching heels and slowly walked down the Common Room hoping no one sees her...

Annie was shivering with excitement. Tonight - or rather, in thirty minutes - her last Christmas Ball would be commencing. Her Dad, being the hilarious fellow he was, had sent her a few days ago her Princess Leia costume (yes, the metal bikini one) and dared her to wear it to the ball.
Her mother, being female and a tad more intelligent than her dad, had opted for a different approach and had sent her a beautiful long dress with some heels that had sent her jaw straight to the floor. It wasn't Annie at all - the WHOLE look was something COMPLETELY different - yet she loved it.
So, an hour before the ball, she had stepped into the shower and followed the strict rules of the shampoo in order to get a glossy, shiny, clean, shiny look that her mother had said her hair was capable of. Stepping out of the shower, she cast a drying spell on it and put tonnes of the cream thing that was supposed to soak into the hair. She tended to her make up quickly - following yet another set of rules that had come with the presents. She needed them - her and beauty did NOT go together.
Next, she took out the gorgeous dress and slipped inside it, making sure not to be her klutzy self and tear it. Her accessories she had received as a joint present from all her siblings (apart from Dominic, who had given her a new lightsabre) and now realised that they must have matched the presents since it all went together beautifully.
Grinning broadly as she finally finished with the last ring, new and reformed HOT Annie cast yet ANOTHER spell on her hair and carefully put her heels on, opting to not cast anything on them since either way, she was bound to fall sometime.
Ahhh... Ready. Looking in the mirror for the first time, the eighteen year old gasped. She was SO not Annie anymore - she was Annabelle. As a last touch, she took off her glasses and placed them carefully next to her bed before taking out the muggle contacts she hardly ever used and put them in.

Ten minutes later, after only TWO almost falls, Annabelle showed up at the Great Hall, feeling like the Queen of the world while at the same time unbearably nervous. What if people thought she was trying too hard? What if people didn't like the PINK?
EEEEEEK. Why did she even come?! Holding her bag close to her, she walked the last few steps over to her friends and looked at them shyly. Let the comments begin.

Rose heard the click of heels on the stone floor of Hogwarts halls, and turned to see a vision in deep purple. "Astoria!" she called, raising a hand and waving as her friend walked over. "Us? Have you looked in a mirror?" she asked with a wide smile as she hugged her friend. "I might have to borrow that necklace at some point..." she said with a teasing smile. "Or, maybe just the whole outfit!" she said with a laugh. "I think it matches a certain werewolf's coat color," she added with a wink.

The new color suits you... should I invest in a pink lightsaber for you?" she asked in a low voice, her smile bright. She wasn't teasing- and she knew that Annie would know that. "If only Anakin could see you now!" she said in a whisper as they rejoined their friends.

She liked it. Rose liked it. ROSE LIKED IT - YAYAYAY!!! Grinning broadly, Annie squished her friend tightly before letting go and looking almost goofily happy as she looked down at most of them (her height plus heels is VERY tall).
"Thanks - and you know what, I might be open to that," Annabelle laughed, imagining herself with a pink lightsabre. It was... unique. EEEEEEP! Anakin. "If only he was here... Cassie nodded in agreement with Rose.
"Of course!" Cassie exclaimed, "I think even Jack Dawson would skip from his Rose to you, that's how stunning you look."
Cassie looked around, and took in the attire of others. Oh yeh, we've definitely got the best outfits, she thought, turning back to Rose.
Greg was in his dress robe. Red, basic. Nothing interesting about it. He honestly didn't care what he looked like, in fact, he didn't even want to go to this thing. He walked out of his dorm and common room and yawned.
Cassie was still looking around, and turned to notice Greg walking downstairs.
"Hey, Greg," she said, walking over, "looking snazzy, I see."
She added a laugh.
Sebastian De Rivera was now considerably late to the evening ball. It was unlike him but even a guy wanted to make himself presentable in front of the ladies. Especially one in particular. Taking a last look at himself in the mirror he adjusted the bow on his new tuxedo until it sat just right. Pocketing his wand inside the tux he was ready to go down.
Seb had even bought two small things for two special ladies but he didn't know if they would like them. Going down the staircases he was goggled by many girls who made appreciative stares at him. When he several minutes later entered the Great Hall he was stunned by how beautiful all the girls looked. Especially Annie who looked like a pink rose in the mix. Walking over to Rose and the others he shot them all smiles "Ladies, Ladies you all look absolutley stunning!" Seb's eyes linger on Annie for several moments but he didn't say anything...It was still a bit weird between them..

Speaking of guys. . . Annie spotted Greg walk down towards their little group of girls and waved at him. He was nice, if a little too laid back for her personal taste. Fidgeting with her purse for a second, she looked down at the hem of her dress that touched the floor (of course, it was magically enhanced to stay clean even as it dragged across the stone floors, but once it touches anything REALLY dirty like mud, bits of food and other gross things, then it will start to show...) for a second before hearing another set of footsteps coming from the stairs and looked up to see *gulp* Sebastian walk down towards them.
Already blushing even though he probably hadn't even noticed her - or maybe he had, but he didn't recognise her... That would be a bummer. Thank Merlin for the make up she had on - that way, her blush wasn't that easily distinguished. Following him with her eyes as he finally reached them, she pretended to look for something inside her bag while at the same time trying to stare catch a glimpse of him up close. He looked AMAZING with that tux from afar but he must look even better with it up close.
Oooh, he said they looked good. So that must mean she was also included. Or maybe not and he was just being nice by not mentioning everyone's names but hers... Ugh, she was pathetic. Since when was she pathetic?! She was strong, like Padme, and fierce yet gentle like Leia - she was NOT pathetic. Not ONE character was pathetic in Star Wars and she was not going to be something that they weren't. The characters covered everything she wanted to be - she didn't need more traits.
BE BRAVE. "You don't look half bad yourself!" Annie suddenly stated, looking up directly at Seb as she swiflty closed her bag and hung it on her arm. Succeeding at hiding her surprise at what she had said, the seventh year arranged her features into those of cool and relaxed.
Or at least, as cool and relaxed as she could ever be.

Isabella was standing next to Rose and talking when she saw Annie and she smiled at her.she was looking very pretty.she looked at her own dress and moaned,she thought her dress being far too much for the simple christmas eve.
as she looked up she saw Seb coming in and talking to them.she smiled and said you look good yourself Seb

To be surrounded by so much beauty was almost intoxicating. It was like the girls had put on new skins when they dressed themselves up. Annie was though the rose of the bunch. Very pretty in her long pink dress with matching accessiories. Seb could hardly take his eyes away from her. As she spoke up he couged and then looked into her eyes smiling "Thanks. But your the queen of the ball, Annie. You look amazing."
Okey Seb had complimented how she looked. Did he have to compliment Rose too? No, probably not. Feeling the slight bulge in his jaket pockets he wondered when the best time would be to give Annie her gift. It wasn't anything big. But it was custom to give pretty ladies gifts on balls, wasn't it?

Rose laughed at her friend's hug, guessing by her friend's expression that she was quite nervous about her appearance. She laughed and nodded at the statement. "I don't even know what I would do if Peter would appear," she said, shaking her head. "I would probably just melt on the spot!" she added with a laugh. She looked down at her dress and smiled. It probably would match him if he appeared in his royal robes- but she wouldn't be picky.
Rose looked up and scanned the room. "Apparently so," she said with a slight smile. She glanced around the room, looking for a certain face but didn't see it anywhere- at least, not yet.

She nodded in agreement as she looked around the Great Hall. Many had shown up with simple dresses- but none as elaborate as their own group. It was a ball- what was the fun in not dressing up?

Rose glanced over the crowd and a bright smile lit up her features as Seb appeared in the room. And, did he make an appearance. There was just something about a handsome man in a suit... she let out an inaudible sigh and turned to face her best friend as he approached. "Seb... you look fantastic," she said with a bright smile. She wasn't even sure that she could hug him- wrinkling that suit would have been quite a waste.

Jacob Black ran through the woods in Forks, Washington, his bare feet hardly making a sound on the forest floor. He didn't know why he was running- he had just felt the need and met it. He leaped over a fallen log soaring through the air and landing with a roll on the other side. His grin was wide as he stretched his legs- but he stopped as he reached the edge of the woods. The edge that hadn't been there previously. He saw a large castle before him, lights streaming out from the extraordinary number of windows. A tug within him pushed him forward to the castle, and he wondered what waited within.
Arya strode through the Elven forest of Ellesmιra, raising a hand to cover a yawn. The meetings with the Council had been far too drawn out today, and she was looking forward to some sort of distraction. A sudden tug caused her to stumble slightly, but she quickly caught her balance. She turned, her eyes flickering in anger to see what could have been the cause- Elves didn't trip. That's when she realized that these were no longer her woods. She looked around at the dark trees, and wondered at the strange feel of the forest. She shuddered slightly and turned to see she was near the edge of the woods, revealing a castle ahead of her. She unsheathed her sword and moved toward the castle. A powerful magician would be the only one who could have brought her here- and she was determined to find his intentions.
Isabella smiled and nodded thank you Rose, i thought this ball gown was tto much just for a simple christmas feast she said but mum literally packed this dress in for me she said shaking her head....
Elizabeth Swann was on the Black Pearl with the rest of its crew. they had just got back on the ship after quite a tough battle with the english men as well as some creature called Barbossa who well was a pirate just like the rest but Elizabeth couldnt stand his presence. she just came out of her room when they were loud calls being called out by the men on the deck of the ship.they were entering in some small opening of sorts which led a way into a lake which was near a castle on a high cliff of sorts... wow she breathed. the ship stopped at the edge of the lake and the people from the edge watching curiously at the ship. she leaned against the railing and looked down. she was drawn to the crowd in black robes and pointed hoods. she slowly went back to her room and brought her sword out and put it in her holster and then turned to talk to the men i am going to check out where we have arrived. Tell Jack and Will that i will be back soon she called out to the general. she climbed downthe rope ladder and walked out on to the grounds of the castle. she could hear everybody whispering but she wouldnt talk to anyone right now,not now. she walked and walked and then entered the brightly lit castle entrance.
she walked towards the slightly opened castle door which was leading into a Great Hall of sorts and as she pushed the door she was gobsmacked by the decorations and she could see everybody's eyes on her!
While everybody was dressed in gowns and evening dresses she was in this stinking pirate clothes!
