All I Want for Christmas…

Familiar with the muggle tune, Rose had been humming it one fateful Christmas Eve at Hogwarts. This, however, lead to our story. Recognizing the song, a fellow character began to sing- but instead of ‘my two front teeth’ she substituted a character from a book. Entertained, the group of friends (both witches and wizards) continued to discuss what character (from a book or movie) they would want for Christmas. But, what happens when the magic of Hogwarts grants their request?

The witches and wizards do not know that the other characters will be arriving- in fact it should be a complete shock to them. The characters will all arrive on Christmas day- during the Ball that will be held at Hogwarts. A few things to keep in mind: characters from the same movie/book will know one another, but just for the fun of it, they will not remember their love interest in the actual book or movie (if there was one). Now, I would like to mix it up- maybe not all of the characters and witch/wizards fall in love. I would like a few conflicts and some to just end up as friends. And, as Christmas day fades away, so will they… but we can have some fun until then.

So, everyone will be taking 2 characters- their own student and then the character for someone else. Try and pick a character that everyone will know, and therefore will be able to play easier. If you do not know the character, do not pick them or talk to the person who requested him/her.

If you join, please tell me if you cannot continue! I’m tired of RPs just dropping off into nothing! I want this to be fun and have an ending! So, if you are not going to be here- let me know! You don’t have to leave- I can catch you up once you return. However, if you haven’t posted in the space of a week and didn’t give me any warning, I will have to pass over the characters.

Lucas Adrien Riverlade was in his own world as he finished reading another Agatha Christie's book. Like if he was a part of the detective's crew in what it came to solve the mystery, Lucas only closed the book when he read the two last words: The End. "And this is how you solve a case, guys!" he concluded, standing up to get another book from large bookcase in their common room. Realizing his friend Rose was also reading, he couldn't resist to take a sneak.
"What book is that? I don't think I ever read it." he asked her out loud. "Who's the author, Rose?" he wondered, truly curious. "Is it good?" Luke made more question as he laid down on the comfy couch.

A spark shined in his eyes at Rose's words. Hehe. He didn't have to think much about it - he had read just the perfect book the week before all over again.
"I have absolutely no doubts about it. If I could get one girl from the books, that would be Miss Elizabeth Swan from Pirates of Caribbean. I mean, have you read everything she does? She rules that sword!" he said enthusiasticaly.

Reynie walked into the Great Hall just in time to see Rose and Lucas sitting down. She walked over to them catching their conversation. She couldn't help but give a small laugh. "Oh Rose, I do have to say Peter would be a good christmas present.

She sat down next to the two of them and listened to what Lucas was saying. "Oh no doubt about it, Will turner for me" She said with a nod. "I mean why in the world would he want Elizabeth when he could have me" She said with a laugh.

Rose looked up and laughed at Luke's statement. "Well, I am glad you know now, Luke! Now I know who to go to when there's a mystery to be solved," she teased. She blushed slightly as she looked down at her book. "This one of the books in the Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis," she said, placing a hand on it tenderly. "This one is titled 'The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe'... and one of my favorite in the series, if you couldn't tell," she said with a wry smile.

"Good choice," she said with a nod. "I have to say I am quite in support of her... but I bet Peter would be competition at the sword," she added.

"I mean the title 'Pirate' is just so much more attractive than 'blacksmith' don't you think?" She said with a small laugh.

Luke raised his eyebrows as the two girls started to drool over pirates and warriors. The boy shook his head and ran a hand through his almost perfect blonde hair before replying.
"Ladies, ladies... That is nothing. Even I can do the things those guys do!" he exclaimed. "Now... Would you do anything Elizabeth Swan does? Would you girld handle living in a boat, duelling with the bad guys, steall some ships... No girl would do that. Other than my Elizabeth, of course." he argued back.

He studied his friend Rose with a lopside smile.
"Maybe... But tell me something about your Pete.. Does he have a whole crew willing to die in a batal for him?"

Cassie's head flicked up to Rose. She gasped however, as her hand came off the book she was reading, and it flew shut.
"Aww, man!" she cried, shaking her head and pushing it aside. The book was Titanic, a fictional novel about the real-life Muggle disaster in 1912, that Cassie absolutely loved. She'd seen the Muggle film too, at her Dad's, since he was a Muggle also.
"Anyway," she said, looking back to Rose after pushing the book aside, "I would totally want to have Jack Dawson for Christmas."

"Actually, I would! Give me a sword, and point me in the direction of some mean pirates!" she said with a grin. She rolled her eyes over to Reynie, but laughed softly. This was a perfect conversation for Christmas Eve.

"Actually, he has an entire army! And, after they defeat the White Witch, he becomes the High King- which means that all of the creatures will listen to his decrees and follow him to the ends of the earth... which I believe they do in another book," she said with a grin.

Isabella walked into the great hall.it was the christmas eve and the hall of decorated magnificently.Isabella was just gobsmaked by the look of the hall.she walked towards the Ravenclaw table and sat down.she was waiting to see of anybody whom she knows would turn up.she opened her copy of Chroinicles of Narnia and then began to read from where she left.Prince Caspian she said in her mind.
oh one chance,one chance i would wish to meet him.he so awesome and talented and skilfull and so thoughtful of his people Isabella thought as she reached the end of a chapter.she looked up at Rose a student whom she knew because they both loved the book on Narnia.as Isabella liked Caspian she had said liked Peter sometime when they discussed C.W.Lewis' book in the library hushed up.

Greg laughed at all of their choices. "I've always been a Lyra fan in The Golden Compass. She's the text-book definition of hardcore." He chuckled. He connected well with that character the most when reading the book and didn't pay too much attention to the other characters...which didn't help him in the slightest when it came time for the book report back when he had to go to muggle school. Ah...memories.

Annabelle played with the goblet in front of her as the people who had stayed at Hogwarts for Christmas talked above her head. She had already defaced it by etching a lightsabre on its side when she had been just a first year, and ever since, the house-elves, who knew her personally, have been placing the exact same goblet on the exact same area of the table.

So yeah, she was around the only kid in school who had never ever sat in more than one place during their WHOLE Hogwarts experience. AND, she was a seventh year.

Taking out her wand, the seventeen year old murmured a hushed spell and watched with satisfaction as the 'light' part of the lightsabre turned blue - the colour of her FAVOURITE character's lightsabre... Anakin Skywalker. He was simply the most fantastic persona she would ever have the chance of stumbling across and if she could have ONE thing for this Christmas...

"Hey guys - I want Anakin Skywalker!" she beamed up at all the other people in the room, not caring at all if some gave her a weird look. After seven years, she was used to it.

Bella Sabrina walked into the great hall, her favourite book under her arm, a small smile on her face. Christmas Eve. She love christmas, though this year she had asked her parents to stay at Hogwarts instead of going home. She hope she hadent made a bad mistake. Sighing she plonked herself down on the bench, anywhere as not many people were still here as they had left already. Bella Sabrina found herself next to a group of people disscusing there favourite books, she had a mind to join in but thought better of it, she wanted to finish her book before she went to bed. Placing one of her favourite books, Piraits of the carribean, of the back of her juice goblet and opened it to the bag shehad gotten to.
Bella Sabrina continued to read for a few minutes, before shutting her book and turning to the talking group,
"Have any of your read this?" She asked as she shouws them her book

"Although, I would much prefer him as a jedi and not a sith," she added with a quick wink.

She is a strong fighter with a good heart just like me." Hearing the bickering around he wondered what it was brought on by not storybook characters right?

Bella Sabrina went off into a daze...

Rose laughed and nodded. "He's definitely one of my favorite characters... but I wouldn't go so far to cal him dreamy!" she said with a grin. "Don't get me wrong... he's just not my type! Too much rum," she said with a soft laugh. She nodded in agreement, her hand stroking the binding of her book once more. It was so worn, she would probably have to buy another set soon.

Rose looked up and her smile brightened as she saw Sebastian coming towards the group. She shifted over slightly to allow her best friend to sit right next to her, which he did. She grinned at his choice, not surprised in the least. "Good choice, although I think she'd outlive you... just by a little bit," she joked. "And as for a strong fighter..." she teased Sebastian with a laugh. "I think she has you beat."

Bella Sabrina smiled when she listened to Rose,
"Im glad someone agrees with me, he's just my favourite character of all time!" She took her book back and placed it down on the table next to her, taking a sip of her pumpkin juice she continued,
"I agree too much rum, and he's not my type, but id just love to meet him someday!" She chuckled

Annie laughed and mock-glared at Rose. "Second choice?! As the wise words of Yoda state: 'Destroy the Sith, we must.'" the seventeen year old nodded, pushing her glasses up her nose as she felt the usual pang of sadness she felt whenever she thought of Darth Vader... He was such a sad, sad man. But she ADORED Yoda so the sadness didn't last long. "Me? Choose ANAKIN SKYWALKER? Well, I can understand your confusion over that particular choice!" she giggled slightly, the typical smile returning to her face. "Allow me to guess... Peter Pevensie?"

Looking over at Sebastian, a guy in her class, she couldn't help but agree. A typical Ravenclaw, Annabelle had ventured into other fictional worlds from time to time - like, OTHER than the bajillion books she had read about the galaxy far far away - and had stumbled across the Inheritance trilogy too. "I have to agree with you there - Arya is one cool girl," she nodded with a smile at him, and laughed at what Rose said. It was true - but she DID look 20-ish, so did it really matter? It didn't to Eragon.

Luke was TOO perfect for her - even though HE would have been her second choice.

"Well, obviously, my dear Rose - but if he will come to me a Sith, I'll make him see reason; and you KNOW that I'll be able to. As the wise words of Yoda state: 'Destroy the Sith, we must.'" the seventeen year old nodded, pushing her glasses up her nose as she felt the usual pang of sadness she felt whenever she thought of Darth Vader... He was such a sad, sad man. But she ADORED Yoda so the sadness didn't last long. "Me? Choose ANAKIN SKYWALKER? Well, I can understand your confusion over that particular choice!" she giggled slightly, the typical smile returning to her face. "Allow me to guess... Peter Pevensie?"

Looking over at Sebastian, a guy in her class, she couldn't help but agree. A typical Ravenclaw, Annabelle had ventured into other fictional worlds from time to time - like, OTHER than the bajillion books she had read about the galaxy far far away - and had stumbled across the Inheritance trilogy too. "I have to agree with you there - Arya is one cool girl," she nodded with a smile at him, and laughed at what Rose said. It was true - but she DID look 20-ish, so did it really matter? It didn't to Eragon.

Rose laughed, and nodded her head. "I stand corrected... I'm sorry I didn't claim him sooner. However, I think you would have Force choked me," she said, giving her a little nudge.

"And I would gladly help... show him thr good side of the Force," she said with a wink to Annie. "I LOVE Yoda!" she exclaimed with a laugh. "There's just something about that little green guy..." she said, putting a finger up to tap her lip lightly.

She blushed, but her grin broadened as she nodded in confirmation. "Yes, of course," she said with a grin. "Could you imagine?" she asked with a soft laugh.

Rose glanced at Luke and couldn't help but smile as they talked about boys. She wasn't surprised that he felt at least a little uncomfortable.
"Actually, I would! Give me a sword, and point me in the direction of some mean pirates!" she said with a grin. She rolled her eyes over to Reynie, but laughed softly. This was a perfect conversation for Christmas Eve.

"Actually, he has an entire army! And, after they defeat the White Witch, he becomes the High King- which means that all of the creatures will listen to his decrees and follow him to the ends of the earth... which I believe they do in another book," she said with a grin.

Lucas gave her that 'I don't believe a word you're saying' look. "Yeah, right." he muttered as Rose said she would do it. "We can always summon a sword and a few pirates..." he commented with a smirk, testing her limits.

Luke raised his eyebrows and then lighened the rom with his smile:
"See? That's right there! There's a guy that needs an whole army of knights and horses to protect him. Elizabeth is a girl and all she has to help her out are a bunch of pirates and sailors." he said, as if it was a conclusion.

"I would... but I don't think the Professors would appreciate pirates running amok on Christmas!" she said with a laugh. "However, as soon as the festivities are over, I vote that we go up to the Room of Requirement and follow through with this challenge," she said, a wicked glint in her eye. "Maybe I'll have Peter teach me a few things before we do!"

"Okay, I will give you that... but in the book 'Prince Caspian' Peter goes up against the King of the Telmarines and defeats him!" she countered with a spark of defiance. But, her face softened, and she smiled. "She is quite amazing... I envy her skill," she said with a laugh.

His playful side was put to a corner of his mind as he saw Rose's face was more soft and that she seemed truly affected. "I could try and teach you something.." he said in a very smooth tone.

Bella Sabrina sat listening to the other people talk, trying to make heads or tales of what there saying. After a few minutes she opened her book once more and slipped behind it as she ate more of the food on her plate.
