A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

Alyss laughed. You are such a giving friend, have I ever told you that?" she smiled. "Besides, I'm sure there is enough to go around. I mean once people get a glimpse of us, I'm sure we'll have more guys interested in the team, than we know what to do with." Seriously, who didn't want to be seen with them or even possible linked to them. It was great being them.

Meg laughed. "Indeed. And I plan on bringing fat money bags to whomever agrees to play for me right then. Between the money and us it'll be the most popular team." Her father would be pleased. "And of course there will be the season opening party on my island. Anyone who is anyone would be there. So obviously joining my team would be like a win-win-win-win-win situation."

Alyss smiled and clapped in happiness. "Who could possible turn down money and the opportunity to be seen with beautiful ladies?" Who indeed? "Oh the island. How I do love it. Alyss glanced around and nodded. "I guess so, if they have any problems they will come to us. So we might as well get ready and double check that all the charms and spells are perfect." They didn't want something to go array in the middle of the party, did they? That just would not do!

Moving toward the entrance again, Alyss mentally check off things on her to do list. Oh, tonight would be such fun and it was just their first night back too.

"Alright, elves, check, we should go check on the progress in the Great Hall. Everyone should have been kicked out by now." Meg said. She too had a checklist. She also needed to make sure there would be a house elf taking her extra masks to the party.

Alyss glanced at her watch and saw it was about that time. The feast should have ended some time ago and every one should be back to their common rooms by now. She was so happy she didn't have to make rounds tonight. "The Great Hall should be completely ours. The prefects should have already checked it, so we shouldn't have any problems." she smirked. She was sure it was locked up already as well, so no one would possible bother them during the party.

Meg opened the doors to see the elves hard at work in the Great Hall. She walked around and nodded. "Everything looks good." she said seeing a few tables set up and the treats already set out. The lighting was great. They even had a little divider when you entered with a mirror to try on masks.

Everything looks really good." she smiled as she stopped to check her reflection. Oh how she couldn't wait to see herself under the glamour charms. She had always wondered what she would look like as maybe a blonde or a redhead.

"Hm..." Victoire took a few paces back, glancing back and forth between Rose and her mountain of gowns. After a moment of silent pondering, Victoire walked forward and swiped up a gown with her left hand. "I think you would look lovely in blue. Unless you would prefer something else?" The light, frothy blue of the dress did seem to belong with the color of Rose's hair. Checking the analog clock perched on the bedside dresser, she saw that time was ticking, and fast.

Tossing the periwinkle blue dress at Rose, Victoire swiftly turned back to her trunk and began rummaging through once more. She had turned into a mad-woman; if she didn't hurry, she wouldn't arrive on time to meet Matt in Entrance Hall. "Quick, just toss the dress on," She ordered, "I need to work on you so I can start on myself." And finally, she had found the weapon that she had been looking for, the one thing that Rose had never cared for or spoke of: make-up. Tossing her box of different powders and creams onto the four-poster bed, she began to search for a dress that she could wear.

Rose did as she was ordered and put on the dress. She twirled around a few times ignoring her cousin's frantic actions. Maybe she would dress up more often. She liked the feeling. Then her cousin tossed her a lot of make-up. "What am I supposed to do with these?" she asked looking down at the handful of stuff. "You know my mum never taught me how to use any of this stuff."

She picked her long wand from her four-poster bed and aimed it at her box of powders and creams. "SpeMagnifica!" She spoke, flicking her wrist. At that instant, the make-up seemed to come to life. The foundation and a brush began to approach rose slowly, the lid of the foundation unscrewing itself. "Just stand still. It won't hurt one bit, trust me." And with that, Victoire set her wand down and began looking for the perfect shoes, being that she had already found the right dress.

Parker was getting frustrated, he had absolutely nothing fancy to wear. It was so embarrassing..."I might as well go na--" Parker shrugged. It wasn't a bad idea, but it could stir up some problems, but at the same time... Parker knew it was a chance, it was a masquerade after all. People might not even know who he was. It's not like he went everyday around shirtless. Parker took off his t-shirt and put on some of his brown leather pants. He'd just be a bit plain. As for a mask...he cut some cardboard. "That looks stupid," he said to himself. He took out his wand and made some adjustments, making it look bronze and old look. At least with a mask on no one should recognize him, or at least that's what he was going for. He put on the mask and took in a deep breath, "Well here goes nothing."

Rose coughed as make-up attacked her. Once it cleared out she hovered over Victoire checking her reflection in the mirror. "Not too bad. You'll have to teach me that spell." Between the dress and the make-up she barely recognized herself. But it was in a good way. Like the change was meant for her.

Meg gave a haughty laugh and headed for the door as well. She said by and headed up to her dormitory. Once she arrived there she shifted through all her clothes finding her vintage blue dress. Sure, it wasn't her usual style, but that was the point of the night, right? She looked in the mirror and styled her hair in a half-up do. She put on some light make-up.

She then started going through her masks. She settled on a fox one. She gathered the rest of them and then whistled. A house elf appeared taking the rest of them down to the party. She looked at herself in the mirror before grabbing her mask and heading down to the party.

Matt finished getting ready, magically attaching the classic Phantom Of The Opera mask to his face. He'd had it lying around in his trunk ever since he'd thrown it in there after a preformance for an opera company in his home town. Never know when you're going to need it, he always told himself. And now, seemed like a good time to break it out. He fastened the cape of the costume over one shoulder and looked in the mirror. No wonder the director of that production had chosen him to play the phantom... Hell, he looked better then Gerard Butler did in the muggle film. He nodded, running his hand through his slicked back, yet not greasy, hair. Perfect. "Ready yet, bro?" He called, from inside the bathroom the pair shared.

"Uh, yeah, just a sec. Hey, wheres my hat?" He said, peeking around the door. Yeah, this wasn't technically a costume party, but if he was wearing a Zoro mask, he might as well dress the part. Well fitting dress pants, old style riding boots, and a black button down shirt, only half way done up. He secured the mask and stepped out, looking Matt over. "Lose the cape, that's a little over kill for a masquerade." He said.

Matt shrugged, and untied the cape once more, tossing it on the bed. He still looked very much like the phantom. "Fine. And your hat should be in the trunk." He said, leaving the room. "I'll see you down there."

Kyle nodded and dug his hat out. He placed it on his head and tied his hair back in a low pony-tail. Feeling that he looked alright, and hoping His date actually showed up, Kyle headed out of the room, following Matt.

Al flipped through a book of artwork he'd found left in the dorm room, and found a pretty simple mask. He charmed a plain mask to look exactly like it, and magically stuck it to his face. It wasn't much, but at least he had one. He changed into the dressiest thing he had, a pair of dark jeans, and a black jacket with a colourful-in-a-not-gay-way scarf. Of course, Victorie had brough it back for him on one of her many trips to Paris, and as per usual, he'd never worn it. He looked himself over, and attempted to style his hair. Nodding quickly, he left the room to wait for the girls to walk down.

Selena sighed, looking through the dresses she had laying on her bed. Nothing. Absolutely nothing she could wear to this party. This was ridiculous. Why was she even going? Because she had been invited. She'd never been invited to these parties, so she was going to take the invite. Even if he didn't like the person it had been given to her by.

Looking at the dresses, she shook her head. Taking out her wand, she pointed it at one of the red ones, muttered a few words under her breath and the dress changed. She smiled, picking it up. Putting on the dress, she twirled in front of the mirror, to see it from all angles. Yeah, she'd done a pretty good job. Now, turning to her shoes, she pulled out all the white ones and tried them on one by one to see how they fit. Finally settling on a pair of YSL pumps.

Mask. Mask. Oh yeah because EVERYONE carried masquerade masks around just in case! She sighed. There was nothing she'd be able to make into one. She could just conjure one. She had one at home. But that was ages away. She picked up a piece of parchment out of her bag and a quill, drawing a design on there. Then, she picked up her wand and then the paper started cutting itself and colouring itself white. She smiled, and put the mask on the bed, while she sat down to do her makeup.

Alyss said bye to Meg and make her way down to the dungeons and her dormitory. She needed to narrow down her choices for her dress and she did have three in mind for the party. Moving over to her track, she pulled out the her three choices. Quickly, she changed in to the first dress. She did adore the dress but it was way too Slytherin for this evening and I would be a dead give away to who she was. Maybe should could were it to some gala soon. She admired herself in the mirror for a bit. Oh how she did looked great in it though.

Changing into the second dress, she turned to the side. It wasn't at all her usual style. She wasn't that kind of girl. It looked way to innocent but maybe it would work for the night. She just wasn't sure about it and it did have a lot of pink and light colours. Who would guess it was her if she did wear it to the party.

Finally, she tried on her third dress. The dress was her style, but the color was not. It wasn't a safe choice for the party, but wasn't that the point though; To go against the norm. This year's party was to the first for many and maybe the dress choice would be a first for her as well. Standing in front of the mirror, she turned around getting the view of herself in the dress from all angles. It really wasn't bad, she actually did look amazing in it.

Walking over to her bed, she pulled out numerous masks.. Placing one up to her face, she frowned. Too Gryffindor for her. Tossing it into a box, she grabbed another. Too simple. She really did have too many masks. Tossing those in the box, she grabbed a few more and added them to the others. Finally finding one she liked, she set it on her bed. Snapping her fingers, she summoned a house elf and with a poof, there stood one. She instructed it to take the box of masks down to the Great Hall.

Hearing it poof off with the box, she turned her attention back to the mask on her bed. Now that she had the dress and the mask, she just needed to work on the glamour spells to hide her identity. Reaching for her wand, she went to work on her hair. Changing the color of it and pulling it back a little. She wasn't about to go all out or anything. With a quick flick of her wand, her eyes were a different shade. Smiling at her reflection, she finished up with some light makeup and grabbed her mask. Any other further changes to her appearance would be done down in the Great Hall. Giving her reflection one last look, she turned and left her dormitory; heading back up to the Great Hall and to meet up with Meg again before the party.

Victoire stopped her rummaging and turned to look at Rose. "Merlin," She murmured, her jaw dropping, "You look gorgeous." From head to toe, her cousin was a vision. Albus would be impressed. "Not that you're not cute, but this is a bit more... sophisticated." Turning back to getting her things cleared up, she smirked, "My, my, what will Scorpius and Kyle say?" Giggling to herself, she began to dress in her attire and slipped her shoes on. She also performed the make-up spell on herself and stood still, waiting until she could not feel a flutter around her face. "Now, for the masks." She crossed her arms over her chest. "Think you could transfigure 2 things into masks for us? I'm not good at transfiguration, you know."

Rose blushed. Thanks." she said. She looked around her room and grabbed two hair brushes. She carefully applied a handful or spells changing the color and shape of the hairbrushes. When she was done she held one to her face. "Mmm... spells like shampoo."

Meg arrived at the door. As they told the house elf one was waiting by the door. They greeted her and allowed her to enter. She checked the progress. Everything looked good and the extra masks were set out. She checked the clock, everyone should be arriving soon.

"Thanks. You too." Meg said putting on her dress. "Alright, I think we're ready." she called out to the house elves. As soon as she said so the lights dimmed, music began playing, and food appeared on the platters. "You can start letting people in now."
