A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

Matt finished off his supper once Kyle had left, and got up to leave as well. But before he got far, he spotted Victorie with her cousins. He stuck his hands in his pockets and made his way over to her. The gryffindor table stared as he walked past them, and took a seat beside his girlfriend. And again, the eyes, and jaws, of many opened wide when they say who he was sitting by. He slipped his arm around her waist and placed a quick kiss on her cheek. "Hello gorgeous." He said with a smile. "Are we still on for later?" He asked, flashing a quick smile to Rose, and nodding to Al.

Al glaired as Matt sat down. That boy was the bain of his existance. Too fake, too perfect. And the fact that he was now daiting his cousin was the final straw. After what she'd been through with Teddy, Vic didn't nead any more 'bad-boys' in her life. So Mr. Tuck here was the last thing she should be with. He didn't trust the elder boy as far as he could throw him. Yeah, he was always told never to believe the rumors that floated around this place, and most times he didn't. But when there were so many similar stories about the same person... It was kind of hard to ignore. "What do you mean, later?" He said, green eyes darkening, as he raised his eyebrow. If what later ment what he thought it did, which it probably did knowing Matt, Vic was not going anywhere. Not if he could help it.

"Fine then," Victoire simply laughed softly, "Be a thickhead for now." That was the difference between Al and Rose. She could put up with Al's stubborness, but Rose was stubborn on a whole different level. You could simply laugh off what Al said, but when Rose got testy, it affected the moods of others around her as well. Spooning up some mash from her gilded plate, she nodded at Al's suggestion. "Yes, Rose. Why not join me in breaking tradition?" She smiled at Rose, hoping that she would play along.

Before gauging Rose's reaction, Victoire noticed an arm around her waist and a kiss on her cheek. She turned to smile at Matt, the skin where his lips had touched burning red. "Miss me?" She asked cheekily. She had almost forgotten the presence of everyone else in the vicinity, nonetheless her cousins, when Al spoke before she could answer Matt. Turning her face towards Al once more, she answered with a defiant smirk, quoting him from a moment earlier: "Wouldn't you like to know."

Al's blood boiled just a little hotter as he watched the interaction between the two. And then when she refused to tell him... That was it. "Yes Victorie, I would." He replied, voice cold and harsh. There was no way she was going anywhere with him. No way in hell. His eyes narrowed even more into a full on glair at his cousin, and her boyfriend.

Matt laughed softly. "I did indeed." he replied, kissing her lips quickly. He heard Al question her, much like a strict father, and eyes the boy for a minute. Her responce didn't seem to help his mood either. He leaned closer to her and muttered "I told you he's got it out for me" into her ear quietly.

Victoire longed to devote all of her attention towards Matt, but in the current situation she figured that Al needed to be taken care of first. Even that quick kiss from Matt didn't seem to dissipate her growing frustration. And when the furious veela came out in Victoire, watch the hell out. "Don't worry about it." She spoke tersely, almost hissing at her cousin as her eyes narrowed. When he had refused to tell her anything, she had accepted his need for privacy. But now he was being a complete, effing hypocrite. A stream of French and English swear words alike began streaming through Victoire's head, her lips longing to part and scream them at her cousin.

Al glared harder. "I'm damn well going to worry about it!" He said crossly, slamming down his goblet. A few second years beside him jumped, and shifted away. He didn't care if Matt was there or not at the moment. What needed to be said was going to be said, weather she wanted to hear it or not. "Look at who you're with Vic! Do you honestly think I'm going to let you go off with this tool, so he can have his way with you, and break your heart like Teddy did?" He spat, eyes staring hard at her. "No, I won't. I don't care if you think that being rebel of the family, and dating rockstars is fun or whatever. I will not let you get hurt again." He stood up, leaning on his fists against the table. "And I will not be around when you do, because I warned you already what he is." He glared at Matt again.

Matt arched an eyebrow. "Hey now, that's hardly fair. No one said anyone was going to get hurt." He said, holding up his hands in surrender. He wasn't going to fight Potter, especially not while he was dating his cousin. "We're just going for a walk later... That's is. I don't plan on using anyone, so you can throw that idea out." He knew what Al was thinking he was going to do, and he wasn't even thinking about going there yet. Not with her.

Victoire's jaw dropped as Al exploded. She leaned back a bit, almost as if she were a bit afraid that he was going to bite her head off. When he had finished speaking, she was literally speechless. There were multiple thoughts running through her head: How dare he bring up Teddy! Why did he have to assume that Matt was only "in it to win it?" Why was he being so accusatory and overprotective. But then Matt spoke, and she calmed down ever so slightly. "You have nothing to worry about. I promise." She spoke, her look now one of pleading rather than defiance.

Alyss had just set her goblet down, when she hear the commotion from behind her. Flipping her head around quickly to see what was the cause, she blinked slightly in surprise. It was Al and MATT? Now that was a surprise. And there sat Victoire. There was seriously something up there. What was a Slytherin doing at the Gryffindor table? That wasn't normal at all, but again she was sitting there just the day before.

Turning back to Jay and Meg, she smirked. "I'll be right back." she excused herself. Jay and Meg didn't seem to need her there, but she would keep her eye out if she was needed. But at the moment, she wanted to know what was going on. Walking gracefully over to the 'other' side, she stood behind Al and placed a hand on his shoulder. She had heard bits and pieces of the conversation and from the look on both Victorie's and Matt's faces, she knew that Al needed to calm down. "Al," she smiled slightly. "You are scaring the firsties and that's my job." she teased. She just wanted to make him laugh and maybe calm him down before things got worse.

Al's mood only worsened when the slitherine spoke. "Stay out of this, Tuck. This is between me and her. You just happen to be here. Not everything revolves around you, dispite what you like to think." He snapped.

Matt laughed cooly, trying not to get angry with the younger boy. "Al, come off of it." He said through his laughter. "You aren't her father. And I promise I won't pull any moves on her. Really kid, you need to calm down. She's old enough to take care of herself." He slipped his arm around her again and pulled her in close. He could sence the way she was scared of how Al was reacting, and felt how she shrank away from him.

Al bit his lip angrily, and shook his head. "I know what you are, and how you treat women Tuck. Remember Cassie Summers from last year? Fifth year Gryffindor? Yeah, she was my best friend. You tore her heart out, and used her, and completely ruined her." He said, glaring even harder. "You're not going to do that to Victorie."

Matt gave him a very puzzled look. "Ok yeah. Last year. AND, that was over the summer, while I was on tour. I told her outright that whatever happened meant nothing, because I'd never see her again. I didn't know she was a witch, or that she even went here." He explained. "If I did, I never would have done anything like that." Then Aly came over. Weird. And why was she talking to Al like she was a friend? Could this day get any weirder?

Al turned to face Alyss, eyes softening just a little as he heard her voice. "Generally, yes." He replied, rather lightly considering the mood he was in now. "But when both of your cousins are seriously ******* you off, and your blood is starting to boil over with the presenece of a certian jerk-tacular Slitherine, you tend to get mad." He shot another glair over his shoulder at Matt, who retruned his look, before lookigng back to Aly. "Sorry."

Alyss nodded slightly as she listened to him. It was rather understanding he would feel that way. The Tucks did manage to get her blood to boil at times as well. Taking his hand, she looked at him. Letting a tiny smile out for him. "It's okay, but leave the terrifically to me. I do enjoy it so," she said softly.

If people weren't talking before, they sure would after seeing Alyss and Al like that. "You know I'm not at all that hungry, it's a bit stuffy in her and I need some air. Want to join me? We could sneak into the kitchen later if we get hungry." Linking her fingers with his slightly, she looked over his shoulder at Matt and Victorie, from what she could tell the both of them were telling the truth and were genuinely interesting in each other. Another possible Slytherin-Gryffindor couple would keep the gossip off her if things with Al turned out to go somewhere.

Victoire finally gathered the gall to speak up, speaking in a rather serious mature tone with a blank face. There was no reason to cause a commotion in the Great Hall. Before long, the professors would come to see what the fuss was all about, and that would definitely make news travel faster around the school and to their parents. "We'll talk later." She spoke to Al and standing up, she nodded to Rose and Alyss before taking Matt's hand and pulling him away from the group. She walked rather quickly from the Great Hall and stopped once the two had reached the entrance courtyard just outside of the entrance hall. She leaned against a wall and her head fell forward, her blonde hair covering her face as she bit her lip. Tears welled up in her eyes, tears of sadness and frustration as she fought to keep them back.

When Victorie spoke, he didn't even respond, he was so furious with her. "C'mon." He said, leading her out of the great hall, towards the dungeons. There was another exit there, and after seeing where the other pair had gone, he was not using the main doors.

Matt was all but dragged from the great hall behind an angry, part Veela blonde. Not at all a good combination. And he couldn't help but feel responsible for her frustration. When she started to cry, his heart sank. He hated to see anyone cry, but a beautiful woman, who was his girlfriend, that was not going to be tolerated. He stepped forward and pulled her against his chest, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm sorry..." He said in her ear, placing a gentle kiss on her cheek. "I didn't realize how strict your family are." He held her close, feeling her breathing deeply, trying to fight off her tears. "But I swear I'll prove him wrong. I will never hurt you like Teddy did. Ever." He whispered, his hand running through her silky hair. "I promise."

Alyss smirked slightly as she saw the blush on Al's face. Aww, it was cute and she could get use to that. Giving his hand a slight squeeze, she allowed him to lead her toward the dungeons. She'd seen Matt and Victorie go toward the courtyard and realized the dungeon route would be the best bet. Stopping at the bottom of the stairs of the dungeon, she turned to stand in front of Al. Looking up, she tilted her head slight and let out a sigh. "I know I don't have any room here to talk about this, but maybe you should let Victorie be." she voiced. "She's a big girl and all. Plus knowing from experience Half-Veela can handle themselves and if it makes you fell better, I'll hex Matt for you if he messes this up."

Al pursed his lips for a second, sighing through his nose. "I know she can take care of herself. That's not what I'm worried about really." He said, looking anywhere but Aly. "And I'm not even worried. I just really, really don't like Matt. Kyle is alright, he seems like a genuine guy... Taking care of Rose and all like he did last night. But something about Matt gets to me. He's too... I can't even put a word on it." He sighed again and took his hand from hers, pacing around the dungeons for a minute. "That and I can't stand to see Vic hurt. And if what I hear about that guy is true... That's probably coming sooner than she thinks."

Kyle had been sitting at the piano in the Slytherin common room, running over some things for the next days show, and trying to work off some pent up emotion that was better left unfelt. After an hour or so, his wrists started to give out, having not played in a while. He got up and left the commons to go for a walk about the lake, hands in his pockets, singing along with the song that he'd been playing. It was one from his favorite musical, Sweeney Todd, called Johanna. It was rare that he sang anything that classical, though his voice was better suited for it than anyone else.
"I feel you, Johanna,
I feel you.
I was half convinced I'd waken,
Satisfied enough to dream you.
Happily I was mistaken,
Johanna." He sang mindlessly, voice echoing off the stone walls. He didn't even notice Al and Alyss as he passed, still humming.

He reached the main enterance, and spotted Matt and Victorie outside, being the abnoxiously cute couple they were. So he took a left, and found himself in the great hall again. Jay and Megan were talking, oddly enough. He reminded himself to ask Jay about the team later, when he spotted Rose all on her own. In the back of his head, he could hear Matt's voice telling him to grow a set and talk to her. The girl looked lonley. Mustering up all the courage and guts he could, he walked over to the Gryffindor table, standing behind the chair across the table from her. "Hey." He said quietly, smiling shyly. "You seen my brother around? I figured he'd be here with you and Victorie."

Alyss shook her head as she walked him pace. Walking over to him, she raised her hand to his face, placing it on his cheek. Turning his face so he had to look at her. "Well you aren't alone in your disdain for him. Merlin, there are some days I don't like him, so I so understand, but getting all in a huff over this isn't going to help. You do realize you might have just pushed her more toward him." She so knew about the rumors that surrounded Matt and she took them with a grain of salt. It wasn't her business at all and if she didn't care about the rumors of others, others would show the same courtesy to the rumors about her. "I know you don't want to see her hurt again, but sometimes things are out of our hands," she smiled weakly. Certain actions already in motion were hard to stop and all. Removing her hand from his face, she stepped back. "Besides, you shouldn't always listen to everything you hear about people. You just might be surprised."

Al's mood liften to a million times better when her hand touched his face. Her words made sence completely, and he agreed. Perhapse leaving well enough alone was what needed to be done. "I guess you're right." He said, heart nearly stopping as her hand left his cheek. He swallowed thickly, looking away from her again. "It's just not so easy when you hear the same story from every girl he dates. I just don't want her to end up being another notch in his bedpost, so to speak." He shrugged and leaned against a cool stone wall, looking up at the sealing.

Jay arched his brow when Alyss walked away heading for the Gryffindor table he sorta explected her to back Matt up seeing how he was the out numbered slytherin surrounded by gryffindors but she didnt she went over to what the .... Potter?? Jay secretly felt a pang of jealousy and frowned breifly at the coziness

Alyss sighed softly as she watched him. She was well aware of the rumors about Matt and his 'conquests'. She was sure in some circles people would have said the same about her and her collection of guys. It really was quite Slytherin of them, if she said so herself, but it was very possible to change too. Taking the step closer to him, she rested her hand on his back and rubbed it slightly. "I may be a Slytherin, but I'm one smart young lady as well," she smiled softly. "I'm not really friends with Victorie or anything, but if Matt does anything to taint her character in such a way, I'll be one of the first people to hex him, I swear. But I mean, it is possible he does geniunely like her and maybe Kyle has worn off on him a little. All us Slytherins aren't all bad, you know."

Alyss allowed herself to smile again as she leaned against the wall beside him, still giving his back a rub and an occasional scratch. "He's really not that bad once you get to know him, I mean like I said before, some days I dislike him but that's how Matt is." she sighed. They did really get a bad rep some times, but it was of their own doing so they couldn't really complain. Hearing him talk of tricks, she turned her head to look at him and smirked. "Really? I guess both us Slytherins and Gryffindors are more than what people think of us. Full of possible surprises aren't we?" she laughed softly.

Victoire fought back the tears, wrapping her arms over Matt's shoulders as she tried to gain control of herself once more. Sniffing quickly, she spoke in a diminished tone, "I-I just didn't think that I would get this emotional. Al... can be such a relentless prude sometimes, it sickens me." She brought up an index finger to wipe away a stray tear from her cheek. "And it makes me feel even worse to hear him speak badly to you. I-I know that you'll treat me well, but Al..." She let her sentence trail off, at a loss for words once more.

She closed her eyes as she let her head lay upon his chest, the tears having thankfully stopped. But in typical Victoire fashion, she said something to lighten the mood: "I-I'm sorry, I forgot to take out the muzzle on Al. Next time you two are together, I'll be sure to make him put it on." She grinned slightly, feeling a bit better.

Matt smiled warmly, cupping her face in both hands, his thumbs wiping away stray tears. "Don't worry about me. I've had people say worse... Like boyfriends of girls who did not tell me they were unavailable..." He glanced away, pouting a little, before shrugging. "He's nothing I can't deal with. And I'm going to prove him wrong... My Grandmother is the same...She likes to Think that I'm going to marry a slytherine." He laughed a little, shaking his head. "For all I know, I might end up with a muggle, what with giving up on this whole wizarding thing for my music career. She's not pleased with that either." He frowned a little and leaned against the wall behind him, letting her thin frame rest against his. "Anyway, enough of that. Did you talk to Rose?"

Al laughed darkly, nodding. "Well, when you're father is the wizard who defeated the dark lord... Twice... You learn a few things, weather you want to or not." He replied lazily, as she continued to rub his back. It was soothing, and eased his mind, something that didn't happen often these days. "But yeah... I'll leave her be for now. Not so much him, though. If he's back on their quidditch team I'll send a bludger or two his way."

Jay arched his brow when Alyss walked away heading for the Gryffindor table he sorta explected her to back Matt up seeing how he was the out numbered slytherin surrounded by gryffindors but she didnt she went over to what the .... Potter?? Jay secretly felt a pang of jealousy and frowned breifly at the coziness

Meg watched in amazement as Aly and Al just walked off together. "No way..." she said softly. Aly hadn't mentioned they were that cozy. Oh, someone was getting a talking to later.

Rose was vaguely aware of everything going around her. There was some arguing... there were some Slytherins... and now someone was crying.

Did she zone out that much?

Yes, yes she had.

And now someone was talking to her. "Oh hey Kyle." she said looking up. "Yeah... he's with Victorie... but don't ask me what just happened... I kind of... well... completely zoned out."

Kyle nodded, looking around the hall, like he was looking for his twin. "Did you see where they went?" He asked, pulling the chair he was leaning against, and sat down. Hey, Matt had told him to man up hadn't he?
