A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

Victoire took a deep breath and simply nodded, knowing that he spoke only the truth. "We'll just have to roll with the punches, mon amour." She turned her head to the side to view the area. For once, it seemed that the various students had decided to stop their ogling. Victoire smiled softly before turning back to Matt with a small frown on her face. "No. Don't worry, though. I'll catch her tonight before she heads to bed, when Al isn't in the vicinity. But what about Kyle?"

Matt smirked a little at her french. One thing that could win him over any time was a girl fluent in another language. He held her closer and ran a hand through her hair again. "You see, when he gets like this, Kyle's like a sick puppy. All he does is follow you around, and whine." He started. "So I'm sure if I told him I was taking him somewhere, he'd follow without question." He looked over the grounds again, the sun was nearly down, and curfue was about to cut in. "So theres no worries of me getting him down there."

Victoire smiled, glad that his end of the deal seemed to be going well so far. It was just Rose that seemed to present an insurmountable task. But Victoire tried not to worry about it: if she had to, she would jinx her and take her to the kitchens. It almost made Victoire laugh to think of herself and Matt as matchmakers. "Should we head in?" She asked, pulling away slightly as she faced the setting sun. That was one of the most beautiful things about Hogwarts: nature. From the seasons, to the weather, from dawn to dusk, it was always beautiful outside.

Matt nodded. "Probably. We wouldn't want the prefects yelling at us, now would we." He replied sarcastically. He never listened to them, seeing as most times, he was older then they were. And being one himself was never really appealing, considering he was generally the one breaking rules around here. Though, head boy would have been nice. Freedom... Ah, how wonderful that would be. But none the less he let her go, and stepped way from the wall. "I'll see you later? In an hour and a half say?" He asked, looking down at her, his normally icy eyes shockingly soft and warm.

Kyle nodded. Clearly, she wasn't in the mood for talking. He heard the clock on the wall above the head table chime eight and sighed. "Well, curfue is up now... I'll see him in the commons." He said, getting up. "Thanks though." He gave a weak smile and, like the rest of the population left in the great hall, left the room and headed back. Again, humming the same song as before.

Kyle heard Rose call out to him, and stopped mid note, turning to face her again, hands in his pockets. "Yeah?" He said, walking back a little, so she didn't have to yell. Her head was probably stll bothering her, and the less pain he caused her the better. He gave a weak smile and stood across the table from her again, tucking a few loose strands of hair behind his ear, out of his eyes.

Meg shrugged. "Since when are any of our relationships serious?" she asked. She had never had one. Minus the one that she had with Jay. And that was on and off... so she wasn't sure if it technically counted.

"I'm free whenever." Rose said with a casual shrug. "It looks like I won't have much of a social life now that my cousins have other things to occupy their time."

Kyle nodded, a look of annoyed understanding on his face. "I know exactly what you mean." He replied with a light laugh. "Matt's going to be more than occupied now as well... So much for writing new material this year." He shrugged and looked around the now almost empty great hall. Other then them, the only ones left were Jay and Meg. It seemed like they were getting along again, which was good. He didn't want to have to be the one to break up the fights now, considering that Matt was probably going to be too 'busy' to care. "But yeah, just let me know when you're bored, and I'll take you out one night."

Victoire nodded in agreement, giving him a quick kiss goodbye and then speaking, "Until then." She turned and made her way across the stone and grass, pulling her robes more tightly around her lean frame as the chilly night air was beginning to settle. She pursed her lips, in deep though about how to approach Rose. Her eyes suddenly flickered towards the great oaken doors of the Great Hall. A smile lit up her face. She crept over to the doors and peeked through, finally able to spot Rose with... Kyle?! Maybe tonight's little adventure wouldn't be needed.

No. Victoire and Matt had made a plan, and she would follow through. Closing the door, grateful that she hadn't been spotted, she leaned against the stone wall and put her hands in the pockets of her cloak. She would simply wait for Rose to walk out.

"Alright. Will do." Rose said beginning to get up. She then spotted her cousin by the door. "I guess that's my cue to leave." she said with a smile. "See you later." she said. And with that she left the Great Hall to catch up with her cousin. Once she arrived outside she saw her cousin leaning against the wall. "Hey. What happened earlier? I completely zoned out." she said.

Matt returned her kiss, but continued to lean against the wall. It was too nice an evening, even if the fall air was chilly. He waited around a while longer, watching the stars flicker on, then sighed, heading inside to find his brother. It didn't take much searching before he spotted him in the great hall, chatting with Rose. Well well, seems that I don't need to do as much as I thought I did. He thought, watching from across the enterance way, away from Victorie. He caught her eye and nodded towards the pair in a 'see that?' kind of way. Then the pair left the hall, Kyle heading towards him with a smile lingering on his lips. "I saw that. What's going on?" He said, clapping his brother on the back.

"Yeah... Later." Kyle replied, watching her walk away. He took a deep breath, trying to guage weather or not that had just happened. Shaking his head with a smile, he left not long after she did, seeing Matt waiting. "Nothing." He said, still dazed. "I asked her if she'd seen you anywhere. She said no. And when I walked away to find you, she called me back, and asked me to show her the forrest sometime." He explained, more in disbelief then anything, as the pair made their way back to the dungeons. "She returned my sketck book earlier and we got to talking a little, and somehow the forrest came up. She said she'd never been in there, and I told her it was the most beautiful place around school grounds. And now she wants me to take her there." He laughed to himself, running a hang through his blond hair.

Matt nodded, smiling happily. "Good for you, mate." He said, opening the door for him. "We're still on for tonight though, right? That's firewhisky is calling our names man..." He gave a devilish grin and flopped into an overstuffed couch, startling a few thrid year girls who giggled, and clumped together. He heard his name, and Victorie's mentioned through their frantic chatter. "If you say no, I'll be very dissapointed."

Kyle laughed, and picked his guitar up from the stand by the fire place. "You know I'm always down for a drink." He said, starting to play something he had stuck in his head. Matt nodded and picked his up as well, joining in the spontaneous jamming.

Alyss laughed softly. It was odd to hear Al talk like that, but it kind of excited her. Who would have thought a Gryffindor would think in such a way. A season without some tense would be bad and in some cases Matt did deserve to get a few bludgers thrown at him, but it wasn't like he had done anything yet to fully deserve it. Removing her head from his back, she took his hand. "Who about we head outside now? I do like the darkness of the dungeons and all, but maybe some sunlight would be nice too." she asked as she pulled him along slight. Being in the darkness too look would raise suspection and the gossip hounds would have a field day with them.

OOC: Whoa! I am soooooo behind! I know my charrries don't really fit in anywhere, but hey. Sooo sorry!

Selena sat alone (the way she liked it) in a small, secret alcove off one of the corridors leading up to the Ravenclaw Common Room entrance. The only light that illuminated the novel laying across her bent up legs was from her wand. She was sitting on the cold, stone floor, but she wouldn't hav eit any other way.

Silence and solitude were what she needed right now. What with the drama kings and queens running around the castle, and the letter from her parents that stated they weere moving again. So now, she had no idea what was happening to her during the holidays. Life was great... not! So, every now and again a girl needed a little peace and quiet in which to escape from the cruel realities of the world in which she lived.

Sitting sulkily on her bed in her dorm, Annabelle really couldn't be bothered with anything... definitely not anyone else's worries (especially not her brother's which seemed to be taking over the entire house, and the school along with it). She looked down at the open Potions textbook and the blank piece of parchment on the bed in front of her. Why did homework have to be so much harder (not to mention boring!) than the work they did in class? Grumbling to herself, she picked up her quill, biting on the end as she looked through the textbook to find what she was looking for.

Al nodded, following her outside. "Yeah, sun mught be nice, but I do think it's going down about now." He said with a small laugh. "But fresh air might be nice too. I've been stuck in here all day." He tried to ignore the fluttering in his stomach, as her hand remained in his, but it wasn't easy. So instead, he looked straight forward and followed the path his feet were taking towards the door.

Alyss laughed, he did have a point. The sun was about to set, but a bit of fresh air was more what she was going after. Leading him outside, she stopped just a few yards away from the door. The sun was setting against the Black Lake and the vision it produced was quite breathtaking. "You know it's rather nice to be outside right now," she smiled as she turned to Al. She had been coped up most of the day as well, aside from when she did her rounds, and the fresh air was just what was needed. She jsut hoped the next day would be as nice as this day had become.

Al nodded slowly, looking across the grounds at the lake. The sun was very low over the horizon, casting a deep red-orange glow. "It is, isn't it." He said softly, taking his hand from hers and slipping it around her waist. Something about her made him not like himself. Normally, he'd have more trouble then this talking to a girl. But she was so easy going, and wasn't laughing, or asking about his father. She was just being friendly, and somewhat sweet. That was something he never thought he'd think about Alyss... Sweet. He pulled her in a little closer and looked across the lake still.

"Oh, just Al being Al..." Victoire shook her head with a small grin on her face, beginning to lead her up the grand staircase and towards Gryffindor Tower. Glancing back, she saw that the twins had went the opposite way towards what seemed like the Slytherin Common Room. Perfect. "But what happened with you? Anything interesting happen while I was away?" She put a blank, inquisitive look on her face. The more genuine her facial expression, the better, as it would make Rose more apt to trust her tonight.
