A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

Al laughed at Rose, sitting across from her. She was sitting back on to the slitherine table as usual, so he got full view of the twins. Matt seemed to be being Mr. Perfect again, doing something helpful for his twin. God, he hate that guy! But Vic seemed to be rather smitten with him, so he'd deal. But poor Kyle seemed almost hollow. He could tell from even across the room that the blond twin was not completely there... Almost off in his own world. "So... Are you going to read the letter he sent you, or not." He asked. "And yes, Vic told me about it. Don't just ignore him, cuz. You might miss out on something great." He said, looking around for Alyss.

Alyss made her way up the stairs toward the Ravenclaw tower. She still hadn't figured out how she would tell Meg about her date the next day. She would have to just come straight out and tell her about it. They could talk about it on their way down to the Great Hall. Some thing was different this time though. Alyss wasn't new to having random dates, but this was the first one she had agreed to go on with a Gryffindor. It was so out of character for her really.

Victoire skipped over to the Gryffindor table, feeling as light as a feather as she approached her cousins. "Good evening," She smiled, sitting across from them both. "Feeling better, darling?" She asked Rose, a look of geniune concern on her face as she began to place food onto her own plate with her polished utensils. If Rose wasn't feeling better, there would be no way in hell she would be up for a midnight outing.

Meg exited the Ravenclaw common room just in time to see Aly coming up. "Hey, Jay still mad at me?" she asked knowing the answer would more than likely be yes.

"Yeah. I'm feeling fine. Why wouldn't I be?" Rose said completely ignoring everything that had happened to her in the last day. She began eating her food excitedly. She did love food. And maybe with her mouth full she wouldn't have to answer everyone's ridiculous questions.

Al just rolled his eyes ar Rose, who was clearly ignoring him. "I think she's in denial." He said to Victorie, before taking a mouthfull of mashed potatoe. The look about his elder cousin was one of contentment, and happiness. "I take it things are going well for you and Matt." He said with a smile. Vic was yet to know the news about his date, and he was skeptical on weather or not to tell her yet. Because, knowing Vic, she'd laugh, or tell the whole student body. No one really needed to know that he was going on a date with one of the most desired girls in the school.

Matt watched as his brother poked at the food on his plate, not really eating anything. He shook his head slowly, feeling his own heart sink. "Tell you what." He said, watching as Kyle's head lifted a little to meet his eyes. "Theres a bottle of firewhisky in the kitchens with our names on it. After patroll ends, how about we go down and have at it?" He gave a weak smile, trying to cheer up the gloomy boy. "See if we can't get that woman off you mind."

Kyle nodded once, knowing that resistance was futile. Matt wasn't one to take no for an answer, that he knew all too well. "Yeah, alright." He muttered, still poking at his dinner. He wasn't half as hungry as he thought he was before. "I'll see you back in the commons..." He said, picking up his messenger bag from the floor by his feet. And with that, he left the great hall again, walking down to the dungeons to work on some music.

Victoire smiled at Al, nodding in agreement. If Rose didn't want to talk, she wouldn't force her to. As of now, it would be all about pleasing Rose so she could convince her to go down to the kitchens later in the night. "And yes, things are quite... blissful right now," Victoire answered Al's statement, picking up a dinner roll and beginning to nibble on it. She looked at the expression on his face. He seemed jovial, as usual, but something was different. "I take it a special something occured today, Al?" She asked, her eyebrows rising as she brought a water-filled goblet to her lips.

Al gave her a mock look of shock and shrugged, smiling still. "What gives you that idea?" He said, laughing. But the look on her face was one that ment she would not back down until he broke down and told her. "If you must know, yes, something did happen." He replied through a heavy sigh. His smile grew a little wider as he picked up his own goblet. "I've got a date tomorrow to hogemead."

Rose kept eating her food pretending to be overly entertained by it. She was glad the topic of conversation was no longer her. She had been the center of attention far longer than she would have ever wanted.

"With who...?" Victoire smiled softly. Would it be that seventh year Gryffindor girl that Al had been lusting after for years? Or maybe it would be a cute Ravenclaw that he picked him... or rather picked him up, considering Al's temperament. It didn't even occur to Victoire to think about Al going out with a Slytherin. The idea would be incredibly absurd.

Al shrugged. "Wouldn't you like to know." He said simply, laying down his fork. He wasn't about to give up who with that easily. "You'll just jave to wait and see tomorrow." He raised an eyebrow dangerously. "For now, we've got to find Rosey here a date, seeing as the pair of us will be off with our respective people." He lwatched as Kyle walked out of the room, shoulders slumped forward and head hung low. "I thnk theres a couple of sixth year Hufflies interested. And theres always Mike Wall in Ravenclaw... She did have her eye on him." He laughed a little, looking from vic to Rose, then to Kyle. "I know... How about another slitherine?"

Matt finished off his supper once Kyle had left, and got up to leave as well. But before he got far, he spotted Victorie with her cousins. He stuck his hands in his pockets and made his way over to her. The gryffindor tabl estared as he walked past them, and took a seat beside his girlfriend. And again, th eyes, and jaws, of many opened wide when they say who he was sitting by. He slipped his arm around her waist and placed a quick kiss on her cheek. "Hello gorgeous." He said with a smile. "Are we still on for later?" He asked, flashing a quick smile to Rose, and nodding to Al.

Al glaired as Matt sat down. That boy was the bain of his existance. Too fake, too perfect. And the fact that he was now daiting his cousin was the final straw. After what she'd been through with Teddy, Vic didn't nead any more 'bad-boys' in her life. So Mr. Tuck here was the last thing she should be with. He didn't trust the elder boy as far as he could throw him. Yeah, he was always told never to believe the rumors that floated around this place, and most times he didn't. But when there were so many similar stories about the same person... It was kind of hard to ignore. "What do you mean, later?" He said, green eyes darkening, as he reaised his eyebrow. If what later ment what he thought it did, which it probably did knowing Matt, Vic was not going anywhere. Not if he could help it.

She wasn't at all new to the first date thing, but The Three Broomsticks was getting rather old for a first date. It wasn't like she had planned on having a romantic date or anything. "Yes, it is a bit intimate, but you know how I adore their cheesecake. Beside, I think Al and I will have a nice time. It is quiet there and we really wouldn't have an audience gawking at us."

Jay had made his way back from the quidditch pitch where he had been trying to clear his head before getting something to eat he still wasn't in the greatest of moods but he was feeling a lot better than he had been. Meg and Alyss were sitting over at the ravenclaw table when he made hisway to the slytherin table. He sat down in the first available seat just the fact he had sat down startled some random first year into scooting overinto another seat.

Alyss smiled slightly and nodded. Jay looked a little bit calmer than before, but again a Slytherin could hide a lot in their behavior. She was quite good at it herself. "Well, if he's still in a foul mood, I could always yell at him again," she whispered in a teasing tone.

Jay happened to look up and see Alyss and Meg making their way towards him. In his usual not really asking more like telling sort of way he suggested a few others scoot down a few seats and make room in the seats across from him.

Alyss walked up to the table and flashed a famous Dewley smirk at some first years. Laughing to herself as they seemed to scatter, she sat down across from Jay. "Hello, Jay." she greeted him as she made room for Meg. If the two of them wanted to talk in private, she'd be willing to move down or maybe even go to another table, but until she knew, she would just sit there for moral support.

Reaching for a glass, she poured herself some juice and let her eyes wander. She really had expected to hear more whispering, but she hadn't heard a peep about the latest gossip. If that was a good sign or not, she wasn't sure. Maybe no one thought it was possible and thus didn't think it was worth talking about. Seriously, who would have believed a Gryffindor and a Slytherin would go on a date with each other.
