A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

Jay sat slouched forward with his elbows on his knees as he stared at the boring patterns on the carpet under his feet as he thought over what he had done there was sure to be consequences but it wasn't his fault the professor was pyshcotic and allowed them to use unforgivables in the first place. If he didn't get expelled it would be a miracle.

Alyss nodded as they came to a stop on one of the stair landings. "I think so. I got out of it last night, so I have to do it tonight, but it shouldn't take too long." she sighed. She didn't want to patrol, but she really couldn't skip out on it either. "I should be done in under an hour, if you want to meet after?"

Kyle sat on the edge of the wall of the tower, feet dangling over the side. There was a light breeze blowing this high up, pushing the blonde hair from his face. It was soothing. He looked across the grounds, watching the tiny, tiny people walking around, or playing soccer, or just wrestling. Everyone seemed to be paired up. Or at least in groups. But ever since last years students graduated, he'd lost the majority of his friends.

After a while, He swung his legs back over and hopped down to the floor, making his way back to the common room. His hands were stuffed in his pockets, his head hung low as he walked through the halls, hoping not to run into anyone... especially not Rose.

"Sounds good." Meg said. With a quick wave she was up the stairs. A few minutes later she arrived in the common room. As soon as she entered the area around her favorite armchair by the fire freed up. (Or the other students left as quickly as possible.) As they were leaving she heard one of them whispers 'Did you hear? She and Jay broke up...' She sighed sinking into the chair and stared at her fire. Great. Her father would soon hear about it. She wouldn't be surprised if she had a howler during breakfast. She looked around wondering if Parker was nearby. He deserved an explanation.

Victoire relaxed against Matt's frame, glad to be sharing this quiet moment with him. Gazing from under the shade of the tree, she saw that the sun was not quiet as blinding as it had been moments earlier. Turning her head, she gazed at Matt's now-relaxed expression and couldn't help but smile. He looked so content, almost like a sleeping newborn. Victoire had never seen this side of Matt before, but it was lovely to see it shining through now. Who knew that Matt Tuck could be sensitive, could be calm? Knowing this only made Victoire's stomach twist into tighter knots, but she felt comfortable all the same. The situation reminded her of Teddy Lupin, but for once she didn't feel sad when thinking about him. He had moved on long ago, and now the time had come for her to do the same.

Alyss waved bye to her friend before disappearing down the staircase herself. The whole way back down to the dungeons, she walked in silence. No one was on the staircase at all, which was very odd for that time of day, but she wasn't complaining at all. She did have a lot on her mind and she needed to carefully think out what she was going to write to her parents. She wasn't looking forward to the letter at all and she really hoped they wouldn't then inquire about Meg and Jay. She was sure that they would have heard something about it by the time the evening was over.

Pushing her way through the entrance of the common room, she sighed and moved over to the couch. Laying down, she flung her arm over her eyes. Why had the day been so tiring? She felt like she was an old hag at the moment.

Matt could feel her eyes watching him, and had a feeling she was smiling. It made him feel a little calmer, warmer inside. She was bringing out something in him he hadn't felt in such a long time. And he liked it. And the way she was snuggling in against him only made his feelings for her grow. He shook his head a little, before his eyes opened and he lifted her chin so she was looking at him. He smiled gently, before leaning down and placing a soft, innocent-for-Matt-Tuck, kiss to her lips.

Kyle entered the Common room, and was about to slam the door behind him, when he saw Alyss lying down on the couch. "Something wrong, love?" He asked, closing it gently instead. She looked frustrated, almost exhausted.

Victoire had seen it coming, closing her eyes as her lips touched those of Matt's. It was a sweet, chaste kiss, and that suited Victoire perfectly. As they pulled away from each other, Victoire could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks. Of course, in typical Victoire fashion, she had turned pink. It was a Weasley thing. "Perfect," She murmured, her eyes locked on Matt's expression.

Matt smiled warmly, nodding a little. "So I've been told." He joked. He ran a hand through her hand and lat it rest on her side, and he pulled her in closer still. The way she blushed at something so simple was quite possibly the most adorable thing he'd ever seen. Normally, after a kiss like that most girls would want to drag him off tom some secluded dark corner, or an abondened classroom, and let him do what he pleased. But he didn't get that vibe from her, which was only a good thing. Sure, there was nothing wrong with the occasional fling now and then, but with Victorie, he wanted more. So with out so much as a warning, he leaned down once more, kissing her again, still gently. He wasn't going to try his normal tricks with her. If she wanted to get up and run, as much as he'd hate it, she could.

Jay looked up as somone dropped on the a nearby sofa and noticed it was Alyss he was quiet for a minute before he spoke. " You like to make it a habit of watching Meg help people torture others?" He asked moodily.

Kyle arched an eyebrow at Jay. "She was trying to save you from ending up like the hospital wing, Kelley." He said, sitting down on a chair across from him. "We all were. Me, Alyss, and Meg. So don't take it out on just her." He shook his head slowly, looking him in the eyes. "What Parker did was completely unfair, and the way the Professor was acting was just... I don't even know. So I think you should be thanking us, as apposed to condeming us."

Alyss moved her arm slightly as she heard the voice of Kyle. Shaking her head, she sighed. "Aside from the fact that I feel like a hippogriff just dragged me through the forest, I'm peachy." she replied coolly. She was both very frustrated and exhausted from all that had happened since she stepped foot of the train. She was sure it was too much to ask for maybe one day of unneeded drama. Yes, she did love her some drama, but it did take a lot out of her.

Hearing Jay's voice next, she growled moving her arm back over her eyes. She was too tired to deal with him. She had all intention to actually talk to him before her rounds, but if he was going to give her attitude, she wasn't going to even waste her breathe. "No, I don't usually make a habit to be involved in the torture of anyone that I would consider a friend, Jay." she said just as coolly.

Sitting up slightly, she looked to Kyle and mouthed Thank you to him. She didn't want to try to explain herself to Jay, especially in the mood he was in. It would just end badly and she had already had enough for one day. "Would you have rather had us stand by and see just how far it could have gone? Personally, I wouldn't have been able to do it. So I'm sorry that we showed any concern for you and your health." she said as her voice started out calm and gradually got louder. "Seriously, keep on condemning me, you wouldn't be the first and I highly doubt you will be the last." Sitting up completely, she threw her legs off the couch and got up. Coming back to the common room had been a terrible idea. She should have just gone out to the Black Lake.

jay looked at Alyss as she started to rant at him a simple no would have answered the question but it clearly wasn't her style. He let her rant he had just been doing what te lesson called for and everyone was jumping him for it. He stood up almost the same instant Alyss did. " Don't leave on my account ." He grumblde as he turned and stalked off up the stairs to his dorm.

Alyss throw up her hands and screamed. Why she even bothered to talk to him was well beyond her. Seriously, she shouldn't have come back to common room at all. Seeing him get up and stalk off she narrowed her eyes at him. "Kelley, consider this the last thing I ever do on you account." she huffed as she grabbed her bag and headed for the door. She glanced over to Kyle and gave him a silent sorry, before slamming the entrance door. She needed to get far away from there and from Jay as possible.

Kyle shrugged, and gave her a sympathetic smile. He turned back to Jay, unaffected by his previous snide remark. "I'm not Matt, Jay. Don't take out all your pent up agression on me." He said quietly. "Believe me, I know what it's like to be under that curse. Dad said it's better to know what it feels like, then to be hit unexpectedly. And it's not plesant, at all. But it's a helluva lot better then being under Imperio. That curse messes you up bad. Look at what it did to people in the past... It drove them insane. Meg and Alyss didn't want to see you end up in St. Mungos, and neither did I." He looked away from his housemate, who was still brooding in the worst ways possible. Being the apparent only voice of reason in the Slitherine House anymore, Kyle sighed and shook his head. "Next time someone tries to help you, just thank them." he said shortly as he got up from his chair. "Because next time, you could be on your own, and Parker could pull out something much worse." He walked away again, back to the boys dorms to continue drawing in peace.

Al had been wandering about the school and grounds aimlessly. Rose was either off with Kyle having a lovely afternoon, or sleeping pittyfully in her dorm. The latter was more likely. That child was far to stubborn for her own good. Knowing Rose, she probably didn't even go after Kyle to give him back his book... She probably just sent it over with her owl. Maybe his earlier plan of locking the pair in a classroom, wandless, would have been a better idea.

Victorie was down by the lake with Matt, whom after his display in the great hall, Al cared for even less. Sure he'd been noble, and yes, he put the clinically insane professor in his place, but why of all people did it have to be Matt Tuck. Oh riiiight, Matt always had to be the center of attention. Al himself could have easily just owled his father, and had the teacher thrown in Azkaban. Meg and Alyss had pleanty of ties to Ministry officials. Even Kyle could have done something in a way much less public way. But of course none of them did. Matty dearest always had to be the front man... The aveger of the fallen... The stopper of lunatics. It made him just a little sick.

He wasn't even watching where he was going, his brain was thinking so much. He only snapped out of it when he walked headlong into someone. "My god, I'm sorry!" He said, steadying himself. His eyes looked up from the floor and found themselves looking into the face of Alyss. "I wasn't looking where I was headed, I'm so, so, sorry." He apologized, blushing slightly.

Alyss stormed through the dungeon and up the stairs. The more distance she got between herself and the boy in the dungeon, the better. And to think she was starting to feel something. She was just confused and seeing his reaction down there, she knew now that whatever she had felt lingering from last night was gone and she could go back to just being civil at best to him.

How had Meg lasted so long with that git was beyond her.BOYS SERIOUSLY!

Alyss continues to walked through the many hallways and corridors, completley lost in her thoughts. All she had wanted was to get some rest and possible talk to the boy that had her mind in a bit of a mess, but that had not happened at all. Maybe some time by the Whopping Willow would be what she needed. Turning a corner, she ran into another body. Taken back slightly, she reached out to steady herself and dropped her bag. Great add, acts of clumsiness to the list of epic fails today.

Bring her eyes up to see the owner of the body she had just collided with, her eyes met green eyes of one Albus Potter. Reaching down to retrieve her bag, she brushed a piece of hair out of her face. "No need to be sorry, I wasn't really looking where I was going anyway." There was no really need to blame him for something she was just as guilty of doing. "No harm, no foul." she added as she tossed her bag back over her shoulder.

Victoire pulled away from his second kiss, a smirk on her lips. "Don't flatter yourself," She teased. She had had to will herself to pull her lips away from those of Matt's, but teasing him and the expression on his handsome face had made up for that. Victoire felt funny about the situation, but it a good way. Before, it had felt so wrong to attend the ball with him. But now that they were alone and together, the pieces seemed to fit together just right. It was an odd feeling.

Matt laughed a little, arching an eyebrow. "Oh really now?" He said with a half smile. "Flatter myself? Now why would I have to do a thing like that?" He laughed again and rested his head back against the tree. After being pulled away from a second time, she clearly didn't intend on having things go the direction he'd have liked them to. Not that it bothered him a whole lot. After all, they had just really started talking... Dating maybe? He didn't exaclty know what to lable this yet. Whatever it was, he was enjoying himself.

Victoire laughed along with Matt, a twinkle in her light brown eyes as she grinned with delight. "So..." She began, taking his hand in hers and intertwining their fingers, raising their locked hands and examining them with a soft smile, "Where do we stand?" Would Matt consider this a simple fling, or something more? That would have to depend on his response. She hoped for the latter, but in her past most men had preferred the former. Pity.

Matt smiled a little, stomach twisting in happy knots. "Thats depends on what you want." He replied softly. "This can be whatever you feel it should. And if that's nothing past a few dates, then so be it." He locked his fingers with hers and rested his head against hers, closing his eyes peacefully. He hoped she'd like it to go in the same direction he did. But something told him that she was too good for him. She was a Weasley... And one with Veela blood at that. Yes, he was wealthy, and had high power parents, like she did. But look at them both! She was almost a princess! While he was nothing more than a misfit.

jay looked at kyle seriously. " Helping is one thing but cursing is another Kyle. Meg had some spell on me where I had no control of myself what ever it was she used I HAD to just stand there and just let it happen." He informed his tone quite a bit calmer than before.

Kyle had been halfway down the stairs when Jay's reply came. He heaved a heavy sigh and turned around again to talk with his friend. "It was the only way to do anything." He replied. "Matt offered to stand in place, as did Meg. Professor Lester just ignored the both of them. Students were freaking out, and he shrugged it off. Your spell completely mssed Parker, and the professor wouldn't stop him from torturing you." He pointed out, standing before the blond, arms folded over his chest. "It was either let you continue to be put through that kind of hell, or cast a quick imperio to make you step to the side, out of his line of fire, and break it off again." He looked Jay in the eye. He knew that the other boy still didn't see it his way, and probably never would. Jay was a stubborn guy, and Kyle knew that full well. "We've got a quidditch game in two days, and we still need another chaser, and a seeker, and a beater. You've got work to do, and I wasn't going to let you be injured, and have to forfit the match to Ravenclaw." He shook his head again and have his housemate a half smile. "I suggest you talk to Matt about that. We'll never win without him... Hence us losing the cup the last two years."

Al gave her a weak smile and placed his hands in the pockets of his favorite jeans. "Right then." He said politely, casually tossing some of the hair from his piercing green eyes. "I'm really sorry I didn't come looking for you at the party last night." He glanced away from her. "Rose needed some attending to, and I had no idea which one you were until your mask was off." Al looked back up, blushing a light pink. "Maybe I could make it up to you some time? Buy you a coffee or something next Hogsmead trip?" This was unlike him. Asking a girl on a date. Oh wow. What had Victorie slipped into his orange juice this morning!? But something told him it was the proper, gentlemenly thing to do... Ignore your date at a party, take her out again, even if she wasn't really your date, because you only got asked as part of some grand scheme to destroy the good name of Gryffindor. He gave a cute, lopsided smile and shrugged.

Alyss shook her head and shrugged. "It's okay. Last night was a real mess." she replied. There had been such high hopes for the evening but things sometimes didn't go as planned. "Yeah, I noticed how Rose was. Didn't know she had it in her, but maybe looks are very deceiving after all." Seeing the slight blush on his face, she smiled a little. It was kind of cute to her seeing that. "You really don't have to make it up to me if you don't want Al. You don't mind that I call you Al, right?" she replied with a slight head tilt. She had never expected for him to ask her something like that. Not many boys had the guts to do so, well actually a few did, but they always came off as smug and conceited. Al sounded genuine and sincere. She actually liked the sound of the offer coming from him. Smiling a little more, she nodded. "You know I hear that Madame Puddifoot's has some amazing cheesecake."
