A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

All I basically know is that you're a musician...im a bit of a musician myself...and im not a liar." She wasn't angry, just confused by his reaction. This might have been mostly about Rose...but he was intriguing.

Kyle looked her over. She seemed genuine enough. Parhapse she didn't want anything to do with Matt. She wasn't really his twins type either. "Other then music," He began. "There isn't really a whole lot else to tell. I like art and books?" He said, raising an eyebrow. "What about you... And why me of all people? Why not Matt, most girls generally go for him after all. He is the Casanova of our generation after all." He said. She was pretty. Perhapse, assuming there was one, He'd take her to the welcoming party. After all, him asking Rose was out of the question.

Rose now knew she was dreaming. She had heard rumors of these parties (who hadn't?). "Are you serious?" she asked full of skepticism. Wow, maybe her brother slipped her some potion in the middle of the night. Her dreams usually weren't this crazy. "This isn't one of those 'who can bring the biggest loser' things is it? Alyss smirked as she moved to grab her handbag. Rumaging through it she pulled out a phial and a small leather journal. "The truth serum incident was priceless, but I was thinking something more fun as well." she said holding the phial up. She shopping wasn't the only thing she was doing in France. She happened to come across some interesting people and places. And in a world that it was all about who you know, she managed to come back with with a wealth of numerous things.

Meg looked at the phial curiously. "What is that? A love potion?" she asked. She looked back down at her notebook. She was confident she knew every spell she needed. "So do you think we honestly need to charm the masks so they come off if someone is dying or do you think that people won't be stupid enough to let that happen and they'd just undue the charm themselves?" she asked looking up from her notebook. Honestly, could people really be that dense? She didn't want things to be much more complicated than they already were. They had masks to charm, an age line to create, elves to dictate to, not to mention she still hadn't decided on a dress. Why they waited to the day of to plan this event she'd never know. Maybe they got a thrill out of last minute planning? Or maybe it was because the first party was planned on a whim? Either way they still had a lot to do.

"It would considered a Class XXX when completely finished, but in its present state it can barely be called a weak elixir. Just need to add the final touches and the truth serum and it is perfect." When mixed with certain other potions and serums, the effects varied but she knew exactly what they wanted and how to achieve it.

Rolling her eyes at the fact some possible invites would be that dense, she pouted. "One would think common sense would be a prerequisite for attendance to Hogwarts, but I guess not." she sighed. "Seriously if they are dense enough to allow that to happen, they shouldn't be invited in the first place. I say no. Masks stay on all night as charmed." If there was trouble they would just address it as needed. They did have more pressing things to think about than the stupidity of others. The train was quickly approaching Hogwarts and still no date worthy yet. Plus the issue of what to wear was still on her mind.

Maybe she'd just put on the first dress she pulled out of her trunk.

"I figured we would do something very different." Alyss smirked. This was the first party of the year and it was going to set the standard for all after it. So this party was going to start with a bang and this was just the first step. "I have a meeting just before the feast, but seeing as I patrolled the train and actually WAS in the prefect compartment as instructed, I'm so not doing rounds tonight. Those other fools can do it." Serves them all right for not showing up for their meeting on the train.

Anyway, she had to help ready everything for the party. House elves needed to be delegated to and she needed for them to possible add something to the sweets needed. If the guests didn't drink, they would at least eat and they would be ready to strike them there. Once everything was ready, she could worry about what to wear and which glamour spell to use for her new identity. She had to look perfect after all.

I like to make jokes at odd times to alleviate tension." Her laughter continued softly, dying off completely as her nervousness double. Swallowing almost painfully, she looked him in the eye. Her throat felt parched. "Im really into muggle literature and music of all types. I play a few things and write some songs...nothing too crazy." in all actuality, music was her life. She wasn't sure how to convey this to Kyle...but from one musician to another, she was sure he'd understand.

"Art's pretty cool, too. I've been to a few muggle museums that had some neat stuff...The Louvre's been my favorite muggle establishment thus far...That could be because it's in Paris, though. I love the French." Merlin, she was rambling...but she couldn't stop herself. Nervous energy and all.

When she heard Kyle mention his brother, Matt, she chuckled. There was no way she could handle a boy like Matthew Tuck...no matter how hard she could try. "Matt's very open about his reputation and it scares me...I mean, im not physically scared of him. I just wouldn't really know how to respond to that sort of thing." she bit her full bottom lip, thinking. Did she sound like a weak Gryffindor scared of big bad Slytherins? The blonde seriously hoped not...because that wasn't the case. Matt was just a lot for her to take in. But was Kyle?

Jay sat back casually proping his feet up on the seat across from him as he listened to Meg and Alyss carry on about the minor details of party planning.
He leaned his had back and half way closed his eyes giving off teh appeal that he was sleeping when actually he was watching them. Meg looked great as always but at the same time he found his eyes drifting over to check out Alyss as well he smirked slightly to him self as he visualized him walking into the party Meg on one arm and Alyss on the other. It was the ego tip of a life time considering both girls were chased after by nearly ever other guy in school.

"Abby, doing what?" Before Rose could answer, none other than the weasel Scorpius Malfoy appeared. Victoire made a point to turn her head and face the window, not wanting to look him in the face. Seemed like Rose had boys all over her, but that was besides the point. Teddy, her former love, had always had issues with the Malfoy boy and his hate had rubbed off onto Victoire.

"Brilliant. See you then..." Rose said realizing that she probably won't since they were all in masks. Merlin! She was going crazy! She watched him walk away only returning back to her compartment once he was out of sight. She sunk back in her seat and let out a sigh. What had she gotten herself into?

Alyss shook her head and laughed softly, glancing over at Jay. "All boys serve their purpose in one way or the other." she said with a smirk. "Well, I sent word earlier to the school elves through Tinkey, so hopefully they'll get something right."

"And I though people didn't want to mess up us in fear of retailation and social death." she said dryly. One word from any of them would doom anyone to social isolation. Then again, dooming others for no reason was just as fun.

"Social isolation is a scary thing, so I'm sure no one wants to risk that." she said as she flipped her hair over her shoulder and reached for her handbag again, pulling out a quill. "I've already started the list of those on the cusp of social death and if they are at all in the right mind, they won't get on our bad sides." Alyss did have a temper and when provoke, things never looked that pretty.

I just wouldn't really know how to respond to that sort of thing." she bit her full bottom lip, thinking. Did she sound like a weak Gryffindor scared of big bad Slytherins? The blonde seriously hoped not...because that wasn't the case. Matt was just a lot for her to take in. But was Kyle?

Kyle laughed a little. "Yeah, girls are pretty cool." He said with a smile. "Muggle literature is a lot better then ours. I just finished reading the Dexter series. It was pretty intresting." He said, stopping to listen to her again.

"The louvre was amazing." He said, nodding. "I've been there several times, and I still havn't seen the entire thing." He looked over at her. Perhapse they were more alike then he thought.

Then he heard her talking about his brother and laughed. "Thats just how he is. He intimadates everyone who isn't used to the rockstar attitude." He said with a shrug. "He's your typical ****** rocker on the outside, but once you get to know him he's not that bad." Why was he talking about Matt like he was a good guy? He was trying to get someone for himself for a change. Someone had taken a genuine intrest in HIM, why should he ruin it by trying to get her into Matt. That was the last thing he wanted.

Matt finished his mask, and was rather impressed with how it turned out. No one would ever know. Not even Kyle... Oh crap. He packed the rest of his things away and changed quickly, tieing his hair back in the typical low poney tail that was required of any male with longer styles. He tightened his tie, and began looking for Kyle.

He found his brother down the train with that pretty Gryffindor he'd been talking to earlier. "Kyle, hey. Just looking for you." He said, opening their door. "Party after hours in the great hall, as per usual." He said. "Masquerade, formal attire is required. And... A date you wouldn't normally see there." He looked over at Abby, trying not to hint that normally Gryffindors wouldn't be allowed. "See you there." He said walking off again.

Kyle nodded as his brother walked off. If Matt was changed, they must be ariving shortly. "So, apparently I need a date for this thing." He said, scratching at the back of his head. Great. He looked over at Abby and gave a half smile. "Wanna go to the biggest party of the year?" He asked, not overly hopefully.

On his way back to their compartment, Matt began thinking of who he'd ask. Normally he'd take Alyss or Meg... Whoever wasn't going with Jay. He Wandered down the train slowly, looking for a worthy candiate, when he spotted the Weasley girls. Rose, was obviously out of the question, as she'd obviously be Kyle's choice. But Victorie was just as gorgeous. He walked up and leaned against their compartment door. "Good evening Ladies." He said, in his typical charming mannor. "Victorie, can I have a word in private?" He asked with a flirtatious smile.

Selena had sort of curled up on the seat she was on, her back against the window, her legs up on the seat, her book back in her hands. To be honest, she was quite happy she'd been left alone. It was the way she liked it best. Sure, it had been nice to have company for a little while, but the conversation was getting a little awkward when the twins had started talking to each other.

Her head turned slightly, and she looked out the window. It was dark. That meant they'd be at Hogwarts soon. She got up, and walked over to the door, closing it andd drawing the curtains. Moving back over to her bag, she pulled out her robes and changed into them. She then opened the curtains again and curled back up on the seat, reading again.

Abby laughed as he talked, amused with his description of Matt. "While im sure many girls are drawn to him for his confidence, im not." She grinned. "And he might be a sweet teddy bear on the inside...but how far would one have to dig before finding his sweet chewy center?" Seriously, she'd be a little shocked. Her laughter came to an abrupt halt when Matt suddenly appeared out of nowhere. She quickly brought her hand up to rub the back of her neck. The two of them were imposing as it were separately...but having them together, and so close...made her feel a little...odd. She smiled to herself weakly, hoping neither boy had noticed.

After Matt walked away, Kyle turned to face her. He looked hesitant. When he asked her if she'd join him...Abigail smirked. "You know, usually I wouldn't dare attend something like this...since Megan Isley is directly involved...but why not. I think I could crash."

Being who I am, I suppose I have to, at least for one night." He leaned back in his chair and looked her over again. "And you would be shocked at how easy it is to get to him." He replied to her earlier question. "He's a typical seventeen year old boy, remember? He thinks with.. Well, you get the picture." He shrugged and yawned. They must be getting to school soon. He pulled out his wand, muttered a quick spell, and his street clothes transformed into his robes.

"Now why would I want to go if I can't peeve off the Megan Isley? Of course, Id want her to know I was there..." Abigail laughed, rolling her eyes playfully. She wasn't scared of the Im-so-perfect Megan, not at all...and any chance to get under her skin was good times. In fact, some sabotage just might be in order...

Watching Kyle magically change his clothes, Abby quickly did the same. She hadn't realized they were nearly at the school. "While that would be an easy way to get to him...as it would any boy really..." She grinned widely at Kyle, standing up and stretching. "Why would I want to be just another girl Matthew Tuck's had his way with? Besides, if I wanted Matt, I would've been talking to him this whole time and not you." Her tone was only slightly matter-of-fact. She was sure Kyle got a bunch of girls who really just wanted to get with Matt. It seemed a little ridiculous to Abby since she thought Kyle was the better looking of the two. Maybe that was just her opinion, though...

She gave him a once over before stepping out of the compartment. Being a Prefect, she was suppose to ensure everyone got off the train safely and that chaos didn't occur. She'd wanted to talk to Kyle some more...but that would just have to wait. Sticking just her head back in, she whispered "I'll see you later, okay?"
